Shane woke up at about 5:45 AM and was content to just lay in bed and watch
Kolby sleep. I was thinking to himself how much better off he was ever
since meeting Kolby. He also thought of all that he had been through, and
how he was still a kind and loving person. It was still quite dark in the
room and he remembered that he had not gotten the picture of Lyle and made
a mental note that today he would take care of that.  He was staring at the
wall between the windows and just like it was there all the time a
beautifully colored picture appeared hanging there. He smiled and said to
himself " Yes that's the perfect place for the picture of Lyle.

Kolby started to stir and he rolled over and wrapped his arms around Shane
and quietly whispered into his ear " good morning my love. " He listened
and was thinking that Shane was still sleeping.

Shane slid his hand down to Kolby's dick and started to rub and said " good
morning " I want you to know that I am the local lumberjack and I am here
to take care of your wood, with that he slid down the bed and took Kolby in
his mouth and started to drive him crazy. Shane was trying to get this done
as fast as he could because he had made himself a promise and was not going
to break it. He was taking more of Kolby in his mouth than he ever had

Shane said " I have something special to do today and I want to get it done

Kolby said can I go with you or is it something that you need to do alone.

Shane told Kolby what he was planning and told him that he could go along
if he wanted. The artist was going to have to agree to paint the picture
the way that Shane wanted it done.  He would go all over town if he had to
to assure he found the right artist. He had no intention of settling for
something he did not want.

The boys spent the entire morning looking for an artist before finally
finding one clear across town. They stopped and had lunch at
Jack-in-the-Box. Then they headed over to the school, Shane wanted to take
Kolby around to sort of get acquainted with the layout of the school.

They arrived at the school and Shane said to Kolby I am going to take you
inside the school so you can sort of get a feeling for the way it is laid
out.

Kolby said that that was a good idea, and said that he did not want to look
like he was blind the first day of school, and started to laugh.

Shane just looked at him and said " hey dufus I think you are blind "

Kolby stopped dead in his tracks and screamed " OH GOD I'M BLIND ".

Shane bust out laughing as several other younger students were walking down
the hall and were confused as to what was taking place.

They approached and asked " Do you need any help "

Shane responded with a smile and said " No he really is blind and I am here
to help him get a feel for the school.

The one boy stuck out his hand and said " Hello my name is Lyle and it is a
pleasure to meet you.

Kolby Spun around and said " What did you say your name was "

The boy said Lyle. We just moved here last week and I was here to register
for school.

Kolby said I am sorry for yelling at you I was just reminded of another
young man named Lyle that was very close to me and he died a while ago. You
just took me by surprise.  So what is your last name.

Lyle looked at Kolby and said Hendricks, Lyle Hendricks. He asked " and
what is your name? "

Kolby 's eyes started to fill with tears and he was unable to talk.

Shane said " This may sound strange to you. First his name is Kolby
Hendricks, and the young man he was telling you about was his adopted
brother and his name was Lyle Hendricks.

Lyle sadly said to Kolby I am sorry I must have made you feel very
unhappy. It won't happen again. Lyle turned and started to walk away.

Kolby said " Please wait " There is no reason for you to feel badly. I am
just a little over sensitive about it right now. I would however love to
have you as a friend.

Lyle said that he would be very happy to be his friend.

Kolby said I want you to meet a very special friend, " his name is Shane "

Lyle stuck out his hand and shook Shane's, then he said forgive me for
asking " You are his boyfriend are you not. I can see the love you have for
each otheer in your eyes.

Shane being very proud of that said " yes I am and it is my pleasure to be
his boyfriend.

Lyle said that " he thought that it was cool and that he would not tell
anyone. " Then he said that I want you two meet my friend and you can trust
him, his name is Cory. He is a black belt and I give you my promise that we
will keep an eye on you two after all isn't that what friends do.

Kolby looked in Lyle's direction and asked would you mind if I gave you a
hug.

Lyle said I would be honored to let you hug me.

Kolby reached out and felt Lyle and then knelt down and took him is an
embrace, he was immediately brought back to the last hug that he had given
Lyle, he started to cry and Lyle put his arms around him and said don't
worry you are safe here.

Lyle said that he and Cory had to go because Cory's mom was waiting for
them. They all shook hands and sais " See you later " and then they all
walked away.

Shane was watching Kolby and noticed that he seemed to be a little down.
He asked Kolby " are you alright "

Kolby said " would you mind if we went home now "

Shane said " not at all come on let's go.

The boys went out and got in the car and on the way home Kolby sat in the
front seat and never said a word. They got home and they went inside and
Kolby went right up to the bedroom and laid down on the bed.

Shane waited several minutes and then went upstairs and looked into the
bedroom and saw Kolby laying on the bed. He went in and sat on the side of
the bed and placed his hand on Kolby's shoulder and asked " is there
anything I can do "

Kolby turned over and sat up and said " Please hold me "

Shane took Kolby in his arms and just rocked back and forth and comforted
him as much as he could.

Kolby asked Shane " please tell me about Lyle I have to know "

Shane asked " what do you want to know about him "

Kolby sat up and Shane let him go and he said " tell me everything about
him "

Shane said " well he was about 4 foot 9 inches tall, he had light brown
hair, green eyes and had skin so soft looking he looked like an angel. "
why did you ask?

Kolby started to cry like Shane had never seen him cry before.

Shane asked " Kolby what is the matter "

Kolby could not talk he was crying so much.

Shane said " Kolby you should lay down and get some rest. "

Kolby laid down and started to ease up a little and was soon sleeping.

Shane knew that Kolby would be sleeping for several hours. He decided that
he had to do something and he went down stairs and went out got in the car
headed for the school and went into the office. He told the lady in the
office that he had just been talking to a student and he had dropped his
book and he wanted to bring it to him and needed his address. He gave the
lady his name and she looked up the address and gave it to him. He thanked
her and went out and got in his car and drove over to Lyle's house. He
knocked on the door and when Lyle answered. Shane explained the situation
and asked if Lyle would come home with him.

Lyle asked his aunt and she said to be back for dinner about 6:00.

They got into the car and Shane drove home and brought Lyle inside and
upstairs.

Shane went over and said " Kolby are you awake "

Kolby answered " yes "

Shane said " you may get mad at me but I have someone here that wants to
talk to you. " He looked at Lyle nodded his head and Lyle walked over to
the side of the bed.

Lyle sat on the bed and took Kolby's hand in his and said " I understand
now why you were so upset at school. He said " Let's talk "

Shane said " I will leave you two alone "

Lyle and Kolby were upstairs talking for several hours. Lyle finally came
to the head of the stairs and called Shane upstairs.

Kolby was sitting on the side of the bed and was smiling when Shane walked
in. He said thank you Shane for bringing Lyle here I guess I really needed
to talk to him but was afraid.  We talked a lot and now I feel much better
about everything.

Shane said well I knew that you had to talk to him or you would never be
able to talk to him in school so I decided that we should get it over with
because if we are going to be friends then we needed to get everything out
in the open.

Lyle looked at Shane and said I need to get home before 6:00 or my aunt
will skin me alive.

Shane walked over and kissed Kolby on the cheek and said that he would be
right back.

Lyle said I hope you don't mind and he leaned over and kissed Kolby on the
cheek as well.

Kolby noticed that the kiss from Lyle was as warm and gentle as the kiss
that he had gotten from Lyle the night that he had seen Lyle in his
sleep. It was like he had come back to him. He knew that he would always
love Shane, he also knew that Lyle would always have a special place in his
heart as well.

Shane drove Lyle home and on the way he thanked him for everything he did
for Kolby. Shane dropped Lyle off and headed home.

They ate dinner sat around the remainder of the evening and about 10:00
they headed upstairs to go to bed.

Kolby thanked Shane for being so understanding this afternoon and said " I
will never forget what you did for me today "

Shane smiled and said " well you see I have this friend that I am in love
with and I would do anything for, so it was pretty easy to figure out what
I should do. Then he said " you know that Lyle seems to be a very special
person. He also looks alot like that Lyle you lost. I am not trying to get
you upset but if this Lyle is half what the other Lyle was, we both are
going to have one hell of a good friend.

Kolby pulled Shane next to him close and said " have I told you lately how
much I love you.

Shane said " You never have to tell me because you have become a part of me
and I can feel when you are happy or sad. I just want you to be by my side
forever.

Kolby kissed Shane in th elips very passionately and said " I want you
tonight "

Shane said " I am flattered that you want me " I think that tonight belongs
to you and Lyle and we can have our time another night.

Kolby got undressed and Shane said " Here let me " he carried him to the
bed and laid him down gently and then kissed him on the lips and said " you
are Lyle's tonight and I wish you good dreams and pleasent memories."

Shane got undressed walked over turned out the light and got in bed.

Kolby snuggled up next to him and said tonight belongs to the three of us,
beacuse without Lyle I would not have you and without you I would be almost
dead inside. So we all get to share each other tonight.

Shane was laying there thinking of how much more interesting this year in
school was going to be. He was looking forward to helping Kolby through the
school year and was looking even more toward getting to know Lyle
better. He just knew that they were all going to be very good friends

The boys wrapped their arms around each other and drifted off to a very
deep and calming sleep.
