Shane woke up first got out of bed and gingerly walked to the bathroom.
he was very surprised to see that although he felt he was in good shape

Cody had study hall next period and had asked to spend it in room 1113

out of the room and went to the office and had them call the fire

" that help was on the way "

The fire department arrived and said that they were going to take him to
the hospital and told the nurse that there was a little tear but he
should be fine in a couple days. They took Neal away and the nurse patted

She left the room and went back to her office.

Cody went back to his book and the rest of the hour passed without ant
further activity.

The remainder of the day passed quickly and when the final bell rang
everyone was talking about the young boy named Neal.  Cody, Kolby and
Shane all headed for the car and were on their way home in a matter on

Cody told Shane and Kolby what had happened and they both said that he
really had kept his cool and did the right thing.

Shane said " that they had to get their homework done early as Kolby had
his second treatment at the Doctors tomorrow morning. "

I will be downstairs when your done. "

Shane said " ok. "  After Kolby left the room and it was just Shane and
