Logan woke early the next morning and found he was unable to move. I was
pinned to the bed with a very sound asleep Cody, He would have to get up
very soon as he had not gone to the bathroom the night before and his
bladder was about to burst, Logan reached down and grabbed Cody gently by
his semi hard cock, Cody shivered and rolled over freeing Logan to go and
take care of business. Logan was in the bathroom when Cody walked up behind
him and started to finger him.  Logan nearly jumped out of his skin. he
finished going and then turned around, smiled at Cody and said " is there
something you want or something I have that you want?"

Cody smiled and said well I have to go to school but when I get home I want
you and I plan to wear you out. Now if you don't mind I need to get ready
for school and if you don't leave I may not make it there today. He smiled
and kissed Logan on the lips.

Logan left the bathroom and went in and got back in bed.

Shane was up and dressed and in the kitchen making breakfast when Cody came
out. Shane asked if he wanted to eat and Cody replied yes. Shane made him a
couple eggs and some toast. they both finished and they both headed out the
door to school. Kolby was staying home today as he had to go see the eye
doctor and get a check up and see how everything was healing.

Logan walk out of the bedroom and saw Kolby sitting and eating
breakfast. He asked if he could join his for breakfast and sat down. they
both talked for a while and Logan asked if Kolby had to go to the doctor,
Kolby said yes and that he needed to get ready. Logan asked if he could go
with him, Kolby said sure and then went in to get dressed.

Logan and Kolby got dressed and then headed for the doctor.

Shane and Cody arrived home after school to an empty house. Shane had
forgotten the doctors appointment, which was not like him, but realized
when he looked at the calender. he went in change cloths and then cleaned a
little, did some laundry and started dinner. about an hour later Kolby and
Logan got home.

Logan took Shane on the side and told him that the doctor said that Kolby
needed to get more rest and try to keep him relaxed and stress free.

Kolby came out and told Shane that the doctor told him that he need more
rest.

All the boys sat down in the living room and talked about everything under
the sun until dinner was ready. they all went out and ate and Logan and
Cody agreed to clean up. the evening went by quickly.

The days flew by and as they did the boys were getting more and more
excited as the end of the school year approached. Kolby was more excited
that the rest as the final surgery was scheduled for the second week of
June. the last day of school came and went and Kolby was starting to get a
bit edgy. the boys all took it in stride know the pressure he was under and
they were all just as excited as Kolby. the weekend just disappeared, and
Monday morning came in to a wide awake Kolby and a very nervous Shane. as
he went into the living room he saw Cody and Logan. Logan sitting on the
sofa wide awake and Cody with his head in Logan's lap was sleeping soundly

Kolby came out and was dressed and ready to go, he and Shane headed for the
door and Shane turned and told Logan that he would call tater and fill him
in on what was going on. this was really going to be a long day for Kolby
and it would not end for another week after the surgery, that was when the
bandages came off and the final outcome was finally known. they arrived at
the hospital and met the doctor. He lead them to a room and said that Kolby
needed to put on the hospital gown and get in bed. He told them that in
about 15minutes someone would be in to give him a pre-op shot and then
about 30 minutes he would taken down to surgery. Everything was going as
planned and when Kolby went down stairs Shane went to the waiting room. the
time seemed to crawl by as Shane sat there, Kolby while the surgery was
going on was traveling in mind and thinking of how everything was going to
change. While he was dreaming he was happy to see a figure approach and
knew that it was Lyle. the smiling face the beautiful face and hair just
right. Lyle sat by his side during the entire ordeal and was saying that he
would be there always. Finally the doctor came out and said that everything
went well and that all they could do was wait till next week and see how it
went. he said that Kolby would be back in his room in about 30 to 45
minutes.Shane was going crazy waiting for Kolby to get back to his room.

Logan and Cody were sitting at the house and waiting for information from
Shane, but there was no information coming. Logan looked at Cody and said
ok lets go, we are going to the hospital and see whats going on. They left
the house and were on their way. they walked to the corner and took the
bus.

Kolby was finally brought up to the room and was still some what out of it
but was starting to wake up quickly. Shane walked over to the side of the
bed and took Kolby's hand, Kolby said " Thanks for being here with me, Lyle
it means so much to me. Shane just stood there and was devastated at
Kolby's statement, he was crushed that Kolby would be carrying that many
feeling for Lyle. Shane let go of Kolby's hand and just stood there with a
single tear running down his cheek. He has never felt this low since he
started going out with Kolby and he was really hurting.

Logan and Cody came into the room and saw Shane in a daze. Logan told Cody
to stay with Kolby and he went over and took Shane by the arm and lead him
out out the room. he lead him to the waiting room that was empty, they went
in and sat down, Shane looked at Logan and said Kolby loves Lyle. Logan
looked at him and said so, he loves the young boy that from what I
understand saved his life and was found dead the next day. Can you imagine
what feeling Kolby must have had and the compassion he felt for Lyle. Shane
you must realize that no matter what happens Lyle will always be in Kolby's
heart, but you are the one that he has chosen to spend his life with.

Shane looked at Logan and for the first time in years Shane put his head on
Logan's shoulder and broke down crying. He loved Kolby more than life
itself and never wanted to be apart from him. He cried for almost 30
minutes. when he finally stopped he lifted his head and looked at Logan and
said thanks I really needed to let go.  then he said' Do you think......

Logan looked him is the eyes and said it will be our little secret, I won't
say a word.

They both got up and went back to the room. They entered and as soon as he
did Kolby said Babe is that you.

Shane said yes and that he was sorry but he had..........  Logan broke in
and said that he had to console him as he was very upset over the whole
ordeal, and with out hearing from Shane it just got to be to much. Cody
looked at Logan with a puzzled look on his face and was about to say
something when Logan put his finger to his mouth in a fashion that told him
to be quiet.

Everyone sat and talked in the room until the nurse came in and said that
Kolby needed to rest and that they had to leave for the evening. they all
said good night to Kolby and left the room and then Shane came over to the
side of the bed and leaned over and kissed his lightly on the lips. as he
stood to leave Kolby said Shane do you know how much I love you, well I
know I have not said it lately but you mean the world to me and you always
will.

Kolby was just about to fall asleep when he felt a hand on his cheek, he
said Shane you are going to get in trouble.. then in a second he realized
that the hand was not Shane's, he asked who is there. the voice he heard
was one that he had not heard in a long time, He said Lyle is that you.

The answer was soft and clear and it said Yes Kolby it is I Lyle and I want
you to know that I will be by your side till this is over, I have to go
right now but I will be back, the warm hand on his cheek was gone and he
fell asleep knowing that he was well looked after. The next few days
dragged and it was soon time to take off the bandages and see how things
went.

Shane, Cody and Logan were all there, the doctor started to unwrap Kolby's
eyes and then told Logan to close the blinds and asked Shane to turn off
the lights and close the door. they were now ready for the final bandage to
come off, after they were removed the doctor ask Kolby to open his eyes
slowly. Kolby slowly opened his eyes and said that her could not see
anything. The doctor said just wait a couple minutes and you should start
to see and vague lightness and it should continue to get brighter Kolby sat
there and after about 10 minutes he said something is getting brighter, as
he sat there things started to come into focus and he started to make out
shapes and figures. He was soon starting to see more clearly and as he
looked around the room he could see things in color and hanging on the
walls. Shane started to step forward and Kolby looked at him and said Shane
and a tear started down his cheek and he stood and walk over to Shane and
wrapped his arms around him and said God I love you so much. Shane just
broke down and for the second time in a week he was crying uncontrollably
. Kolby just rocked back and forth and was patting him on the back. as tame
went on Kolby started to see more and much clearer.

The doctor said that if Kolby want to go home he could buy said he would
have to wear dark sunglasses for a while when ever he went out. Shane
looked at the doctor with a disappointed look and Logan said here these
should do the trick. they got ready to leave and after signing the
necessary papers the were in the lobby of the hospital waiting for a cab to
take them all home. they arrived home and the first thing Kolby did was
went to see his parents, and the thought of seeing them for the first time
almost caused his knees to buckle, Shane said lets go see your mom and
dad. they opened the door walked in and from that point on they were
talking and hugging and just spending time together. Finally Shane said
that they need to go because Kolby needed to get his rest. they hugged and
kissed and then the boys headed home. they went in and saw that Cody and
Logan had already gone to bed, Shane said Kolby my love it time for us to
go to bed you need to rest
 for the next few days. they went into their room got undressed and as
Shane was taking off his cloths Kolby just stood and watched. Shane started
to get into bed ans Kolby said please take off you boxers. Shane smiled and
took them off. Kolby just stood and stared, then he got undressed and they
got into bed naked. They fell asleep holding each other. Kolby woke up
about 3:00AM and saw a figure sitting on the end of the bed. the figure
moved closer and soon was just about a foot away. Lyle placed his hand on
Kolby's heart and said I will always be here. Now you have a beautiful
person next to you that loves you so much, you need to give all you love to
him, Lyle leaned closer and kissed Kolby lightly on the lips and said I
have fulfilled my task here and now I must go, I have loved you since I saw
you wandering around and lost. Now you are a beautiful young man and have
some one that would give his own life to protect you. you two were meant to
be together. keep me in your heart. good bye my dear one. and with that
Lyle was gone. Kolby laid there knowing that everything was going to be
fine. He closed his eyes and was soon sound asleep.
