Chapter 22
Pizza Party

Justin

"I don't know about you guys but I don't feel like going out tonight...I
want to stay here just the four of us," Brad said, hugging Alisa as she sat
between his legs. "Do you mind?"

"Guys, I don't care as long as we're together. We could live here for all I
care," Alex announced as he lay down on the floor.

"As long as we get something for Bear's snoring that's fine with me," I
added, laughing when I got hit with a pillow.

"Justin, you better start being nice or I'm going to hit you again. His
snoring is cute," Alisa said. When she turned and kissed Brad. my smile
started to disappear.

"God, I told you two get a room," Alex said with a smile.

I turned away, not wanting to watch Brad and Alisa making out. I started to
get up to ask if we could eat at the house. I was starting to get really
uncomfortable watching Brad kiss someone else, very uncomfortable.

"You're just jealous that you don't have anyone." Alisa laughed as she
kissed Brad again.

"Of teddy bear...ha he ha he...and you ha he ha he ha...you two are so
funny," Alex commented with a fake laugh and then a straight face.

"And I do have someone. I have... Justin. Come here babe and give me a
kiss." He said as he got up and grabbed me and pulled me close to him, face
to face pretending to want to kiss me.

"Alex stop!" I yelled.

"Come on Justin.... ah, Justin is that a flashlight in your pocket or are
you really glad to see me?" Alex asked as I turned bright red.

"Faggot, I said stop!" I pushed him to the floor and he bumped his head,
and then looked at me in shock.

"Justin... he was just playing...my god!" Alisa yelled as she and Brad
rushed over to Alex to check him out.

"Alex...I'm...I'm sorry I didn't mean it," I told him, keeping my distance
while waiting for him to blow up at me.

"Dude ...ouch!" he said rubbing his head with his eyes closed. "Don't worry
about it. I shouldn't have done that. I the one who should be
sorry...Buba."

"Ahmm who are you?" Brad asked. looking at Alex.

"Yea... am I in a bad x-files episode or did you hit your head that hard?"
Alisa asked looking around the room

"Alex I'm really sorry. You don't have to ignore it or act like you're not
mad."

"Guys ...I told you the other day I've changed. No more shoot first and ask
questions later. This is the new me, so love it or leave it. And judging
from the wood Justin is throwing I know he loves it." He grinned slyly at
me. "Don't you baby, yeah?" Alex said in his worst Austin Powers voice then
grabbed me again

"Well I like it." Brad said as he gave us a hug.

"So do I." Alisa said, hugging the three of us and giving me a kiss.

"What no tongue?" Alex asked with a smile.

Meredith

Suddenly I heard it ...The Herd, the pounding footsteps then "The call"

"MOM?"

"Yes, Justin I'll order the Pizzas. Lets see if I remember Alisa you like
mushrooms and sausage like I do. Alex and Justin are my extra cheese and
pepperoni boys along with Justin's dad, and for the Bear 1 pineapple,
anchovies, hot peppers, ham, mushroom, extra cheese and bacon
pizza. Right?" I turned around to see the four of them coming down the
stairs and in to the kitchen.

"Right." they said together, laughing as they approached the kitchen. I was
again taken back 4, 6, 8 years back.

I looked at Brad and was amazed at how much he had grown. He had always
been the shortest the runt of the bunch, but now he had grown to a nice
size. He was about 5' 10", 150 lbs, curly light dirty blonde hair and the
most Icy/sky blue eyes I had ever seen. It was a shame that he hid them
behind his glasses. If I remember right, he is as blind as a bat. I know
his heritage is German and you can see it in his features, in his rounded
face and button nose. He looked like his body was starting to finally
develop muscle.

As they continued to talk I glanced over at Alex and, just like Brad, he
was no longer the little boy that used to be the protector of the bunch,
always looking out for everyone. He was now almost 6 feet tall and 180
lbs. and he looked very toned from working out. He had very curly black
hair and brown eyes, a kind of dark hazel color. His family is from the
Caribbean island of Jamaica and he is a descendant of African slaves and
the native Indians that were on the island when Columbus arrived. His skin
is very smooth and not very dark. He had the most beautiful smile, almost
as bright as Justin's. When they both smiled together they could light a
city and stop traffic.

When the doorbell rang the boys ran to get it. I had ordered 6 pizzas. I
looked at Alisa and was struck by her appearance while she was getting out
the dishes. She had grown from the only tomboy in town to a beautiful young
woman. She was around 5' 9", 115 lbs., shoulder length strawberry blonde
hair and light green eyes. When she was little she was all legs, but now
those legs were just a small part of her killer body that I was sure the
boys were dying for. From the looks of things, the only boy who had a
chance seemed to be Brad. I wished it were Justin who had her attention.

As the boys came in with the pizzas Alisa stopped cold because Justin's
father was right behind them. When he entered the kitchen she ran over to
him and jumped in his arms. He smiled broadly. "Hi peanut...long time no
see."

"Poppa!" she said, as she held on to him like she'd never let go.

As we started to eat and the kids were laughing and talking, Steven sat
down next to me. "See? I told you all you had to do was wait and talk to
him and he'd come around." He kissed me on the forehead and whispered to me
"He has your smile." He stood and brought his plate to the sink, then left
to go up to the room, but not before roughing up Justin's hair.

I looked at Justin. He was no longer my little boy but a fine young
man. When Steven returned to do the dishes, I walked over to him and
whispered in his ear, "I may have given him my smile, but you gave him your
beautiful eyes." I wasn't saying that because he is my son. I was telling
the truth, the plain truth. Justin looked simply stunning at 6' 2" and
180lb, with Gray-Blue eyes and dirty blonde hair. He was an awesome looking
young man. "As well as his good looks," I said just before giving him a
long, deep kiss on the lips.

"Ahhugh..." Alisa said.

"Momma, Poppa! You think you could take that up stairs?" Justin asked
jokingly.

"Get a room!" Alex and Brad yelled together. Steven looked at them and in
the blink on an eye took off after them, with Alisa and Justin chasing
after.

As I walked into the living room after cleaning up the kitchen. I noticed a
car driving by the house very slowly. I wondered who that could be, but
paid it no mind as I sat down on the couch to watch TV. When Steven
returned from rough housing with the boys he asked me, "I take it the talk
went well?"

"No, we didn't talk at all. He came home all happy ... happier than I've
seen him it the last two years. Then he said some friends were coming over
and started pacing right after taking a shower. Then boom! We got raided by
goldilocks and the bears." I told him with a laugh.

"Well, at least it all worked out."

"I'm still a little worried. It's like they picked up right where they left
off three years ago, and we still don't know what caused them to break
apart in the first place. I'm just a little concerned."

"Don't be. Everything is fine," he says as he kissed me on the lips, "Just
fine."

Justin

Alex stood. "Guys, it's getting late. I have to get home Brad, and since
your house is on my way home you can bum a ride with me."

"Cool! Before I go, I told Alisa this. I don't want to ever lose you guys
again. Lets make a pact that nothing is ever going to separate us again. I
that we can't be afraid to tell each other anything ever again, no matter
what. Okay?"

"Okay," Alex said, putting his arm around Brad's shoulders.

"I love you Brad," Alex said, "just not that way, so don't get any ideas."

"I know Alex. I love you too, buddy."

Alex let go and wiped his eyes. "God, my allergies are acting up. I'm going
to go say bye to Justin's Mom and Dad." He walked out of my room.

"Justin, you're my brother, my best friend, my soul. When you stopped
coming around I thought I'd die. Then today when you helped Alisa and me
out the way you did, it showed me I could never lose you. You're a true
friend and I love you. " He told me as he pulled me in for a hug.

"Brad I have something to tell you," I said as I slowly pulled away from
him with tears forming in my eyes.

Looking deep into his eyes, the words just wouldn't form to tell the truth,
so I told him what I felt from my heart. "I ... I ... I love you." He
pulled me in again for a hug. After a minute I hugged him back then I
stepped away and turned around as he walked from my room.

"Are you coming Alisa?" he asked her

"In one minute baby. I want to talk to Justin," she said. He turned and
walked out the door.

"Alisa? What am I going to do? Help me," I said as I sat on my bed and
bowed my head.

"Sweetheart, I don't know..." she said as she took my head in her hands and
gently kissed me on the forehead, "but what I do know is that now you can't
tell him ever, 'cause it would kill him." She walked backwards out of my
room. "Bye."

Brad

"Bear, lets go! It's been 20 minutes!" Alex said, getting a bit ticked off.

"Keep your panties on! I love you," I told Alisa for the umpteenth time.

"I love you more," she replied.

"No, I love you more." I kissed her again.

"No. I love you much more."

"Ah, come on for Christ sake!" Alex yelled.

"I gotta go! " As I got in Alex's car I told her again, "I love you."

"No, I love you."

"JESUS! NOT AGAIN!" He suddenly slammed the car in reverse and backed into
the street.

"I hate you." I said.

"I hate you more," he smirked, and then took off down the street leaving
Alisa laughing.

Alisa

When I got to about a block away from my house I noticed that a car had
been following me all the way from Justin's house. At first I though it was
Alex and Brad playing, but as it got close I knew it wasn't Alex's
car. When I was about 50 ft away from the last stop sign before I reached
my house the car speed up. When I stopped at the stop sign it slammed into
me then speed off. I didn't get hurt or anything, but my back bumper was
smashed in. I also knew that this was no accident. It had to be the same
guy who keyed Brad's car. We had just been put on notice.
