Chapter 22 Darren's Point of View Its been weeks since the night we went to save my lil brother. I still cant believe what went down. Especially Melody shooting DaeDae. The plan was to shoot him in the vest but I could tell as soon as he went down she was not aiming for the vest.... I never thought he would let it come out like it did but he really didn't have a choice, Christian was gonna tell her no matter what he did. I guess he thought it would be easier that way... who knows...I still cant get what happened after that tho.... ****** Flash Back********************** I made Melody promise she would take care of my bro while I went back to help DaeDae I couldn't let him do this alone.... The scene that I walked in on stopped me dead in my tracks... DaeDae: Stupid faggot! Do you know who the fuck you dealing with.?! I watched as DaeDae tied him up in the chair and went and got his special bag from out of Christian's car. I always knew something was off about him. But I never thought he was capable of becoming a monster. DaeDae: So you're awake? Christian: Fuck you! DaeDae: You know I must admit that you had a pretty good plan. Very creative might I add. Part of me was terrified and disgusted but deep down another part of me was glad that he was getting what he deserved for hurting my brother. DaeDae: See I wasn't gonna take it this far but seeing how you sliced up Darren's brother I figured I would return the favor. That's the thing I don't get.... Why would you kidnap a kid that doesn't have shit to do with this? Did you think I was gonna spare you? Oh wait you thought you're little bomb scare was gonna work huh? Bitch please. I been playing you since day one! DaeDae: I had planned on taking my time with this but it seem my girl Mel had other plans. She actually shot me! DaeDae: I'll be there soon I watched as DaeDae stuck the knife in his lung causing him to choke on his own blood..... What came next was straight out of a horror film! I still have nightmares bout the shit. After that night I finally understood why he never let anyone close to him. I remember him saying if I saw the real him. I would run. he was right part of me wanted to run and part of me wanted to stay..... *********** End Flashback************************** I ran and I never looked back.... He has called me at least a million times since then and I just abandoned him... No warning, no explanation. I heard he is on a bus to Atlanta..... I gotta get my baby back. It took some time but I found out what bus he was on...... IF I hurry I can catch em before they leave Orlando..... I just gotta tell him how I feel and that I love him
