	Colby's Life Expectations is a story written and owned by the
author Kuragari129. It is in every way a fictional story. If it has

	This chapter will be mostly about Colby's and Gage's

be more after it. More of getting to know Colby's friends and

	Chapter 3 – Gage's Advances – Pour Some Sugar On Me


	With the school year rolling Colby and his friends couldn't find
much time where they could all be together. One member of the crew would
always be busy. Colby was actively involved with the Drama club. Trevor had
hockey starting up. Vicky would either be with Trevor or at Student council
meeting. Mitch was always helping his family out. With everyone's schedules
being up in the air, it seamed like the only time they ever talked was over
msn.

	Trevor – DUDE!

	Colby – what?

	Trevor – We have to hang out this weekend!

	Colby – I'm babysitting for Mrs. Bells this weekend.

	Trevor – Shitty

	Colby – Why what's up?

	Trevor – Mitch didn't have to help his grandparents this weekend
so I thought we could hang out and stuff.

	The next morning Colby, up early, was eating breakfast when his
mother entered the dinning room. She took one look at her son and spoke,

	His mother sat down on the other side of the table. "Don't lie to
your mother. I don't need to be at the coffee shop for another half an

	Colby huffed, "I have my eyes on someone but I don't think they

	"Have you asked?"

	Colby looked at his mother in a serious tone, "Would I 'think' they
didn't like me if I had asked them."

	"Fair point, but have they said they don't like you?" Colby shook
his head. "Then you don't know if they do or don't. Ask them out, what can
go wrong?"

	Colby shook his head again, "We're pretty good friends, it would
make our friendship awkward if I asked. Plus they would never say yes..."

	"Why wouldn't they say yes to you?"

	Colby blushed, "I'm not that good looking. I have horrible forehead

	His mother giggled, "You resemble your father so much." Colby gave
skeptical look. "When we first started going out he would always ask me
why. 'Why would someone as pretty as you want to be with a looser like me?'
I always told him the same thing. 'It's what you think makes you a looser
that I like.'"

	Colby smiled, "But your not my crush..."

	"With that kind of attitude no one will like you." Colby expression
saddened. "If you lack looks, you need confidence. If you have both you get
cocky and become an asshole. If you have one, you are usually a
sweetheart. If you have neither though, why should anyone like you?

	Colby's face remained unchanged, "If you want someone, you must
show them you! You cannot hide behind fear that they may not like you. Show
some confidence and then you will find yourself being asked out."

	"How do you know that?"

	"Cause there is always girls like me waiting for the right guy to
appear." Colby smiled the first time this morning. Thinking of how his
mother assumes his crush is a girl. "Just like there are some guys who do
the same. We're the type of people who get 'lucky' the first time. Instead
of the 3rd or 4th."

	"Thanks mom, that makes me feel a lot better."

	"Good! Now I have to go to work. I will see you when you get back
from babysitting!" They waved good-bye to each other and were on their way.

	When Colby walked to school he passed by Gage and Nick. They
greeted each other and Colby told them he had a surprise for them. When
they asked what he just smiled and told them to be patient.

	After he and the boys said their good-byes he noticed Mitch
standing there smiling. "Something funny Mitch?"

	"Nope! Just was thinking of how great you were with those boys."
Colby blushed and hurried himself. "Those are Mrs. Bells kids?"

	"Two of them. Clair is in grade 7 but normally isn't there when I
am. If she is she does her own thing."

	Mitch smiled, showing his pearly whites, "Girls eh?" Colby

	The two found their way to the school and headed down towards their
lockers. Standing in their way stood George Young. "So how are the queers
doing today?"

by my classroom at the end of the day. Your not in trouble, I just want to
talk to you two." They nodded and went on their way.

	The day went by fast and with out incident. Mitch and Colby found
themselves at Mrs. Bells classroom before they knew it. They took a deep
breath and walked in. Mrs. Bells looked up from her desk in the back of the
room, "Oh boys, your here good." She started searching through her
desk. "Sit down anywhere."

	Both boys sat down on the desks in front of her's. "What did you
want to talk about?"

	She went to each door and closed them. "I want you two to know that
everything that is said in this room stays between us, okay?" They
nod. "When I saw George talking to you as he did I couldn't stand at the
side and wait it out I had to step in. Making fun of one's possible sexual

	"So what I want to talk to you two about is what happened. If you
don't want to talk with each other in the same room we can book some

talk about problems your having."

	With that both boys were on there ways. Colby headed straight to
the Bells home. When he got there Hector, Gage and Nick's father, said his
wife called him saying why he was late. He left leaving some money for
food.

	When Colby got inside he noticed Gage and Nick at the kitchen table
with, what he assumed to be homework in front of them. Gage perked up,
"Colby!" he got up and jumped onto the older boy. "Guess what, guess what,

	"We got Lion King one and two now!"

completed.

	Once that was done Colby was about to put on Lion King two but that
was against both of the boys' logic. They needed to watch number one again
before proceeding. So Lion King was put on.

	About halfway through the movie Colby got up and ordered pizza for
everyone. Just in the nick of time too. Just as the movie was ending the
pizza arrived. So once everyone was served Lion king two was put on.

	Nick fell asleep near the middle of the movie. Colby carefully
lifted him up and carried him up to his bed. Leaving just Gage to entertain
until their parents got home.

	Colby found his way to his spot on the couch and sat down. Gage was
