I know I said that Colby's LE would be only 10 chapters but I gotta give a bit more closure. So here we go. There wont be any sex, just after sex parts XD. Anyways ON with the show! CLE – Epilogue – Underneath It All Colby awoke from his slumber to his alarm clock ringing. Three years had past since he graduated. He worked for two years gathering money for school. Then with some student loans, his parents and his grandparents he started his post secondary school education. His arm smacked his alarm clock, making it shut off. For now. The arm slumped over the edge of the bed, Colby went back to trying to sleep. Until his phone went off in a all to familiar way. The ring toned filled the room, "WAKE UP SLEEPY HEAD! I'M CALLING YOU!!" Colby smiled and dragged himself to the other side of his room where his phone was plugged into the wall. He answered the call with a, "You're lucky you're not here." Smiling the voice responded, "No way! You wouldn't hit me!" Colby rolled his eyes, "Mitch, you know I would." "Okay ya you would, but not hard right?" The giggled to each other. "So you are awake now, I guess I'll let you get ready! Talk to you after your done school!" "Ttyl." Colby hung up and waked over towards his bathroom getting more and more undressed as he went. In the past three years Colby's life has had it's own ups and downs. Trevor his best friend started collage immediately after high school and was now down in Victoria studying. Vickey also immediately started school but was mostly done her styling school. Mitch was the hardest. The first year he worked just like Colby. The second he went to the collage just one town over. Now he had gone over to Ontario to go to school. With the 3 hour time difference and school work, they could only really talk on the phone during the day. They had a skype date at least once a week though. Today was to be a special day though. Colby was waking up for school yes but after words he was meeting with Dr. Bear. She had come into his psychology class a last week and had asked if he was willing to help her son, Lucas Bear, who she believed was gay. School went by quickly. With only two classes on this day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. When school was done Mitch and Colby were on the phone for almost an hour before Colby looked at the time. "Mitch, I have to meet with Dr. Bear in 15 minutes, I gotta go." "Love you, Talk to you later." "Love ya, Ttyl." Colby hung up and made his way out of the dorm building. He was meeting Dr. Bear at a restaurant close to the school. It was one of those business dinners, essentially. He walked through the December cold weather and into the diner and found a table. Ordered a pepsi and started gazing through the menu. It was about 5 minutes later when a 40ish year old woman walked towards his table and sat down. "Good afternoon Colby." He smiled, "Good to see you Dr. Bear. How was your day?" "Slow, only a couple of appointment with large gaps in between." She ordered a coffee. "Anyways, on to the reason why we're here." "It's about your son Lucas, correct?" Her coffer arrived and she took a drink, "I wouldn't be surprised if Blake ended up the same way, but one at a time. Lucas is having a hard time coming to terms with his sexuality. I've seen the way he looks at his friend Nick, it's love." "And you want me to act as a sort of big brother to Lucas, correct?" She smiled, "Exactly. I don't want to know what you talk about, only if it's dangerous, and I don't even need to know how often he talks to you. I just want Lucas to have someone to talk to about things." Colby sighed, "Does Lucas know your talking to me?" "No he doesn't." The waitress came by and took their orders. Dr. Bear continued after they were left alone. "He has no idea I'm doing this. I am going to tell him the next time I have a chance if you agree." "Lets go with this, You talk to him and see what he says. I am more than willing to help, I just want his consent first." Dr. Bear nodded in agreement. "I would also recommend telling him that if he ever wants to stop that it would be fine. I would take no hard feelings towards it." "Colby, I couldn't agree more." The rest of the meal was some general talk, but mostly about Lucas. It ranged from sports to general activities. Things the boys could do together. When Colby got back to his dorm he immediately called Mitch. After a couple of rings Mitch answered, "Hey babe, how'd it go?" "Awesome actually. I feel like I know the kid already." Mitch Giggled, "That's good. There is something I want to mention though." The concern was not missed by Colby. It wasn't of deep concern but it was still there. "What is it babe?" "It's about your sex drive." Colby's sex drive was normally quite large when they were together. He did his best to keep it down while they were apart. "I know this kid is gonna turn you on and don't say he wont. Colby was about to say he wouldn't, even though he knew Mitch was right, "I propose an open relationship. I'm not gonna go out and do anything, my sex drive is under control. You I would permit you to have some fun with this kid, but only if the occasion arises and he's leading you on." Colby rolled his eyes, "I wouldn't rape the kid." "I know you wont but you would lead him on to getting into his pants. Which is rape by legal standards." "Pfft shush you. I wont do anything you wouldn't do. Have a good night, love you." "Love you too." Colby hopped onto his bed and started on his homework. His mind every once in a while going back to Lucas Bear, a kid he could end up mentoring in the near future. His expectations? A glimpse into what he's getting himself into. Epilogue end. I've mentioned it a couple of times in the past but here is that one last time for mentioning it. Life's Expectations is going to be ending soon though. With only 7 chapters left in the story it's end should being the next few months. BUT Life's Little Lies, Life's Expectations Sequel is going to be popping up shorty after. Life's Little Lies will take up 2 years after the end of Life's Expectations and will have some of the characters in the main cast or reoccurring characters in the story.
