				Chapter 12

I would like to thank all of the people who keep E-Mailing me with
encouraging words. I am glad that my absence was missed. To all my readers,
I am fine. I am still alive. For a short time yet, my life is in utter
chaos. Soon I can promise that I will be back online and talking to
all. Till then I am still glad to get E-Mails. I promise you that I will
once again be able to get back on ICQ, AIM and MSN Messenger.

I looked up and seen Brian lying on the ice. He was screaming. I looked
around and didn't see Brent anywhere. I tried to move. Nothing. I stood and
watched Brian scream and cry. My body was paralyzed. I tried to talk, I was
screaming and nothing was coming out of my mouth.

I sat up and jumped from the bed. I was crying uncontrollable now. Brian
ran to where I was standing. I just stood there. My whole body was
shaking. I was so cold...

I jumped at the feel of Eric's hand on my shoulder. I was shaking.

"Hey you O.K.?"

"Yeah. I had forgot all about that dream until just now. It felt so real, I
felt like I was there. I felt like I was actually there."

I stood there and recounted the events I had just remembered. I
felt Eric's hand tremble. I glanced over at his hand on my shoulder, and
then up to his face. I single tear was trailing down his cheek. I moved my
hand to his. I looked deep into his eyes. I placed my hand on his. For the
first time I felt his hand. His skin was as soft as any I had ever felt
before.

"Scott, I. I don't think you."

He hesitated, and then looked off into the distance. His hand slid out from
under mine. Gently placing his hand on top of mine and squeezed.

"Eric, I just wanted to say thanks. Thanks for being here when I really
needed a friend."

"No, Thank you Scott. Thanks for everything. Brian was so lucky to have met
you that day playing hockey. I wonder if he ever knew how lucky he really
was?"

"Well Buddy, I think we were both lucky."

I felt Eric's hand move from mine. Slowly he turned and walked
towards the edge of the water. I sat there and just stared at the
ground. Below me were a few Ants moving around. There movements were fast
and erratic. So caught up with what they were doing, that they seemed
totally unaware of our presence. There very life could be instantly
eliminated with a soft press of my foot. I wondered if anyone would miss
them. Did they have families or friends that would miss them if they didn't
come back? I became so caught up in my thoughts, I did not hear Eric walk
back and sit down.

"What you thinking about Scott?"

I thought for a second, exhaled deeply and turned to face my new
friend.

"I was wondering if anyone would really miss me if I was gone. I wish I
knew if I ever made a difference. Will I be missed?"

We sat in silence, not a word was said between us. I lit another cigarette
and swallowed the last of my pop.

"So Eric, ready to hear the rest of the story?"

"Yeah. I would like that a lot. I don't have a lot of time before I have to
go, so I want to hear the rest."

"Well. I guess then I should hurry huh?"

"No, you don't have to hurry. I'm not going anywhere. Im here for you as
long as you need me."

Those last few words rang through me and jolted me back to Brian's
bedroom....

I remember standing there shaking. I felt so cold. I don't know how
long I stood before I finally felt the warmth of Brian's arms around me.

"Im here for you Dude. Im not going anywhere. I will stand here for as long
as you need me."

I grabbed Brian hard and squeezed him tight. I openly cried on his shoulder
as I remembered the dream. It was so real. I felt like I was really there.

"You O.K. Dude? I think you were having a bad dream or something."

"Can I ask you something Brian?"

I pulled back and looked at him. The light from the street below lit the
room with an eerie soft orangish color. I felt his hand reach up and wipe
the tears off my cheeks. I loved the way he looked. I knew he loved me, I
could see it in his eyes. Reaching up I grabbed his hand from my face and
kissed it. I always marveled at the softness of his skin. The feel was
beyond description. The texture and feel of him next to me, always made my
head spin. I let my lips soak in the feeling. I continued kissing and
nuzzling it against my face. God I loved him, I loved him more than life
itself.

"That day when your brother died. You guys were playing hockey weren't
you?"

"Uh yeah. Why?"

"And you guys were like, just skating back and forth passing the puck to
each other?"

"Why do you want to know all this Scott?"

"Please Brian, just let me know. I know this seems kind of weird and all,
but I need to know."

"Yeah, we were."

"O.K. and then all of a sudden you turned around and Brent wasn't there
anymore. You skated over to the hole in the ice and you started to scream
and cry for help. You fell down and screamed and kept shouting for help."

I looked at Brian and he was just staring at me. He just kept looking at
me. A blank expression filled his face. I could feel him tremble as I
spoke.

"That day you were wearing a faded red jersey, and these really old leather
gloves. You had a black baseball cap turned backwards, and these two toned
skates. I think they were black with red tips on them."

As I looked at Brian he turned away, I could feel him start to cry. I
grabbed him as tight as I could. He fought to get away from me, trying to
loosen my hold on him. The more he tried the stronger I held on.

"Why. Why are you doing this to me? Why are you bringing all this up now?"

"Brian."

"Brian"

I kept calling his name as he tried harder to get away from me. He had
become frantic in his efforts to get away. Finally he stopped and looked
into my eyes. The tears were now a steady stream rolling down his cheeks.

"Brian, how do you think I know all that? Doesn't that seem kind of strange
to you? I mean you never told me. How do you think I knew what you was
wearing and what happened?"

"I don't know, maybe my mom told you"

"Brian, that was my dream. I was there, I was there and watched it all
happen."

Brian's face became blank of all expression. He now just stood
before me and was in a state of shock. It was at that moment, it hit me. I
was there. I was actually there the day his brother died. I seen everything
that Brian saw. I now knew all the pain that was inside him. I leaned
forward and rested my head on his shoulder. We stood there for 15 minutes
without saying a word. Finally my legs became cramped and I had to sit
down.

"I don't know what all this means Dude, But it kind of freaks me out a
little"

"Yeah. Yeah me too."

We settled back into bed that night and didn't say another word about
it. We never talked about that dream ever again. I awoke the next morning
to the feeling of a Brian's lips on my neck. I opened my eyes and saw an
Angel next to me. I loved waking up to find Brian there next to me.

"Morning Buddy"

"Damn Dude, I have been trying to get you up forever. I almost had to
resort to unfair tactics."

"Oh really, and what might that be?"

Brian pulled the covers back and dove underneath. I could feel his hands
grab my knees and pull them apart. As his body moved over my leg I could
feel his morning hard on drag across my leg. Now I knew what he was
doing. I reached under the sheets and let my fingers run through his soft
hair. His lips placed little kisses up my legs until I could feel his
breath on my groin. I jumped at the first feel of his tongue on the
sensitive part of my now morning glory.

"Oh god Brian, you sure know how to say good morning."

I lay there as he began making love to me with his mouth. I loved the way
he would slide his lips up and down. Pinching them together along the
underside of my shaft. He made sure every part of my cock was fully coated
with saliva. Then when I thought it couldn't get any better. He slid it in
his mouth and began a slow pace. Gently caressing my balls in one hand. He
stroked my raging hard on with his other. The feel of his mouth and hand
working together, as he gently pulled of my nuts. I knew at this pace I
would never last. I tried to reach down and slow him up a little. The more
I begged him to slow down. The faster he would go.

"Oh god Brian, If you don't stop I'm going to cum any second.

He lifted his head off my now aching cock. I pulled the covers back and
looked into his eyes. The look of pure lust was all I could see. Slowly he
moved his hand up and down and the tingling started all over again. I
arched my back and grabbed the sheets.

"Did you really want me to stop Scott?"

The sound of the evil laugh that followed that question made me laugh with
a nervous and lust filled mind. His hand was working at a slow and almost
torturous pace.

"I love you Scott. I will always love you."

With that he dropped down and took me in his mouth. I felt his warmth once
against envelope me. Every ounce of my soul was being drawn out. My head
turned from side to side. I could no longer keep my eyes open. I was
dizzy. Consumed by love and lust at the same time. I felt my heart ready to
explode.

"OH GOD. Im going to cum."

Brian picked his pace up and hit overdrive. He seemed almost possessed. I
released a torrent of shots into his mouth. It felt as if my very essence
was being sucked out of me. After what seemed like hours my orgasm
subsided and I collapsed onto the bed. I was completely drained. I felt
Brian crawl up next to me. His arm over my chest and his head lay next to
mine. I could have stayed like that for the rest of the day. Slowly I
could feel my strength returning. It was now my turn to share my love. I
turned towards him, and placed my hand on his cheek and pulled him into a
loving kiss. My hand glided down his neck and stop on his chest. I could
feel his heart beating rapidly as I caressed his skin. Propping myself up
I started to place small kisses on his neck. The moans I got were telling
me that he was as ready as I was. I stopped and sucked on his small pinkish
brown nipple. They were quite a contrast to his still deeply tanned skin. I
continued to work on his nipple as my hand moved lower. I relished the feel
of his skin against my hand. Its smoothness was having the same effect as
always. My fingers gently caressed and tickled him, as I worked my way down
towards his stomach.

"Oh god Scott, I need you so bad. Please, just do it."

I could see a tent working under his shorts, and the smell of
pre-cum filled my nose. My head was still spinning from the feel of his
kiss. I loved the way his lips were soft yet firm. The feel of his tongue
gently playing with mine, always made me want to scream. At first we always
played keep away, then we tried to wrap the other ones up with our own. My
hand slid under the band of his boxers, and I felt the small pool of pre-
cum that had puddle just above his pubes.

"Please don't stop. I need to cum so bad."

Brian's voice was almost a plea. He sounded out of breath. He closed his
eyes and his lips once again found mine. I started to teasingly stroke his
now throbbing cock. I broke the kiss and dove to take him inside my
mouth. I could tell how it was starting to swell that he was going to let
loose any minute. The feel of his pre-cum on my tongue made me like a man
possessed. I needed him; I wanted all he had to give. Brian's hands grabbed
the back of my head. His fingers intertwined into my hair. The urgency I
felt in his touch, I knew he would not last much longer. I drove down
farther taking him as deep as I could. I was now taking all he had.

"OH GOD. I love you Scott. Im going to CUMMM"

With that he let loose a load that was the most powerful I had ever
received. I swallowed all he had to offer. I loved his taste. I wanted
more. I continued to take it all.

"Oh shit, that's starting to tickle and drive me crazy."

I stopped and looked up at him. His eyes were closed and he almost looked
peaceful. His chest was rising and falling so fast. It was like he had just
run a long race. I watched as his breathing became more under control. I
knew at that moment, this was more than just sex. This was love. I really
did love him. I wanted nothing more than to just be with him.

"I love you Brian. I really love you."

"I love you too Scott"

Brian was the center to my very universe. I loved him more than life
itself. I can truthfully say that when I wasn't with him, I missed him. I
thought if him every night before I went to bed. He was the first thing on
my mind when I get up in the morning.

Over the next several months' things changed a little between Brian and
myself. Mainly I got a job working at Pizza Hut, and Brian found a job
working at the Y. We would spend as much time together as possible. But
these would be the times that would test our relationship the most. Now
more than ever we would have to learn about a small thing called trust. I
found it very easy to become jealous. Lets face it. Brian was the most
beautiful guy in the world. He was a lifeguard, and he had both sexes
chasing him all the time. I on the other hand must admit. I did look, but
never touched.

"Hey dude, isn't your birthday coming up here soon?"

Damn he was right. March 30th was right around the corner. Time seemed to
be just flying by now. It seemed so hard to imagine life before Brian
now. It was just yesterday that we met on that tennis court for the first
time.

"Uh yeah as a matter of fact it is. I don't really want anything you know."

"Well that's good to want and all. Tough shit. I will get you what I feel
you deserve,"

"So in other words. Nothing"

"Yeah basically"

This brought laugher from Brian as he said that. He was so damn cute when
he laughed. I could listen to him laugh and watch him smile all day
long. The cute dimple that appeared on his cheek, the way he would squint
his eyes.

My Birthday came, and we had a small dinner at my house with my
folks before we left to go out that night. Brian had this little shit
eating grin on his face, and that means he was up to something.

"I need to stop by and see Brent for a second. Is that O.K. with you?"

"Of course it is. We haven't stopped by and seen Brent in a couple of
weeks."

Stopping by and spending time with his brother had become a part of our
lives. We would always stop, and just sit and talk. We made the familiar
drive and pulled to our spot. Getting out we walked to what we called "The
Spot"

" I came here tonight cause I needed to talk to you about something."

I looked at Brian for some sign of what he wanted to discuss. Nothing, he
was holding the perfect poker face.

"Sure Buddy, what did you want to talk about?"

"Well, there is no easy way of putting this so I am just going to come
right out and say it. I am not very happy right now. I don't like how this
relationship is going. To be truthful with you, I want something
different."

I just sat there and looked at him. I didn't know what to say. I had no
idea that he wasn't happy. I assumed since I was happy, he was too.

"I. I had no idea. What."

I started to cry. The first thought that went through my mind was never
being able to hold him ever again. I just wanted to curl up and die right
there. I just didn't know what to say. I stood and started to walk
away. Brian reached for my arm and I jerked it away and started to run. I
could hear him yelling after me and I just kept running.

"Scott. Stop, you don't understand."

I ran out of breath and fell to the ground. I was totally numb to
everything around me. My pants were wet from the ground, and I just didn't
care. I felt Brian's hand on my shoulder and looked up at him.

"Why? I thought you loved me. I love you more than anything."

"Oh Scott, you don't understand. I love you too. Please come back with me.
You will understand what I mean in a second."

I stood and followed him back to the spot. We got back and he motioned me
to sit down on the bench. I sat there with my world around me in a shaky
turmoil. I wasn't quite sure what he was talking about. I just knew that I
couldn't live without him.

"Dude, just relax for a second will you. Im so sorry that you misunderstood
me, I was trying to be funny. Please Scott, forgive me."

I looked up and stared through tear-blurred eyes. I wasn't sure still what
he was trying to say.

"Stand up and look under the bench where you are sitting."

I stood and looked. There was nothing there. I looked and he pointed and
made a gesture to look underneath the bench. I bent down and looked
underneath. There taped to the underside of the bench was a small box. I
reached and pulled the box from its spot.

"Come here and sit for a second. I want to read you something. Don't open
the box yet."

I sat down and Brian pulled form his pocket a piece of paper. He knelt in
front of me and grabbed my hand. Holding the paper in the other he started
to read.

"Every once in awhile some one special comes into your life. A
person who makes your heart yearn for more, makes the stars in the sky seem
brighter, makes the birds sing a little louder. Once in your life a person
comes along that makes your life seem perfect. If you are lucky enough to
find this person, then you must reach out and make this person yours."

Brian took my hand and held it to his heart. I looked into his eyes and
seen a tear fall gently from his cheek. He motioned for me to open the box.

"Scott, what I was trying to say was. I love you. I will always love you. I
want more. I want you to always be with me, now and forever."

I opened the box. I stared in utter disbelief. In my hands was the most
beautiful ring I had ever seen. I looked up and was speechless. No words
could have been spoken to describe the feelings that I had.

"I don't know what to say Buddy."

"There is a note and also something engraved inside the ring.

I pulled the folded up paper out and read the scribbling
inside. Turning the ring sideways I searched for the inscription
inside. There, barely visible in the now darkened skies.

                                    NOW AND FOREVER

I read the paper one more time.

"I love you. What we have together, let no one take away. Together forever.
NOW AND FOREVER?"

Squeezing my hand again he bent over and kissed it. Holding it he looked up
and gazed into my eyes. I was once again lost. I watched as his hands
trembled a little.

"This may sound kind of cheesy but. Um, well."

"What is it Buddy?"

"I just. Would you like stay with me forever? I guess what I'm trying to
ask is. I was wondering if you would like. you know"

I stared at him in total disbelief. I think what he was trying to ask me in
an awkward way was to Marry him. I squeezed his hand tighter.

"If you're trying to ask me to stay with you, and only you for the rest of
my life. Then the answer is YES."

"You mean that? I mean do you really mean that?"

"Well if in a round about way you were kind of asking me to marry you. Then
the answer is YES, YES, YES."

Brian lunged forward and hugged me tight. I almost fell
backwards. I sat there with him at my feet, my arms wrapped tightly around
him. I know I had never been happier in my whole life. At that moment I
had everything I ever wanted. Before me was the most beautiful person in
the whole world, and he just asked me to stay with him forever. I wanted to
cry, I wanted to laugh. I wanted to scream with joy. My whole life was a
roller coaster of emotions...

I looked up; Eric was just looking at me. For the first time I saw
a smile on his face. I could see a genuine happiness. I don't know if he
was feeling the emotions I was. Or if he found some joy in what I had just
said.

"You know Eric, its funny now that I look back on that moment."

"What's funny about that? I thought it was romantic as hell."

"No, not that. It was the fact of where we were. I mean, here we were
sitting in a place where people normally think of death and ending. Then
out of nowhere. I find my life just beginning."

"Whoa, that's amazing. I never really thought about that. That's awesome
dude."

"Yeah, I guess it was."

I sat there and reached inside my shirt. There hanging on a chain was the
ring Brian gave me. I slid the chain over my neck and handed it to Eric.

"There it is. That's the ring Brian gave me."

Eric reached out and took it gently in his hands. I could see him tilt the
ring to the side. The inscription was still there.

			      NOW AND FOREVER

Well there you go. I know its kind of short. I have already started on
Chapter 13. The next one kind of has a life of its own. I want to thank one
very important and special person. Now I don't normally like to make this
my open and public forum, but here I go.

WILL, to you I must thank. You make getting out of bed everyday a joy. And
going to bed every night a little easier. You opened a window into my heart
that will forever let the light of happiness shine. I look forward to
sharing all my deepest thoughts, and making cherished memories with you.
