My third story, the first two flopped, people said they liked them but my
heart wasn't in it. So here's my third attempt, hope you like it. Jay.

I'm standing in the doorway waiting for my friend's Amanda and
Stephen to show up at school. A place where I really do not want to go, I
wish school was cancelled...forever. Finally they arrive and I have my head
to the wall of the two-story building built for the rich, white population
of Olathe, Kansas. Amanda and Stephen are babbling on and on about stuff,
I'm not really paying attention, more like tuning in and out. Watching guys
walk by, admiring their anatomy, " One of these days someone is gonna catch
you checking them out, and you're going to have hell to pay" Amanda
comments, " Yea, seriously Jay, you'll have major problems." I just give
them a half-smile thank them, and tell them all heteros are going to
hell...it was god's choice.
Amanda and Stephen catch up to me, and are asking questions left
and right about stuff I don't care about, so I just give a half nod, or
smile. We walk Amanda up to her first hour class, she gives Stephen a hug
on account of they're dating, and I just roll my eyes, and walk off as I
see Shane Bauer walking to his first hour math class. Just as I'm in
speaking range of Shane, Stephen pulls up behind me and grabs my arm and
tells me I'm going to be late, that's why I hate straight people I tell him
and yank my hand away as I walk off to the dreaded gym class. The hallway
alone to gym is about a quarter mile, and you get tired just form walking
it, so why go to gym? I open the door to the locker room, and the smell of
boys and sweat, and also the smell of pride flood my nose, pride from
accomplishing sports, competition, and everything it stands for to win.
This school is built on sports. Sports, money, and girl; if you don't
have that, then your in the wrong school is what I keep telling my
mom...she just doesn't get the memo.
I walk to my locker and turn my combination 24-32-18 and my locker
comes to life as I pull out my ugly uniform which consists of our school
colors orange and blue, with a hawk spray painted on the front with that
one paint that u can scratch off when you're bored. I head out the locker
room and go into the gym where we run for five minutes and then play
basketball. While running Nick Cunningham snickers, " All fags should die"
I agree with him, nod and keep running, then I look back to see that he's
stopped running and has a puzzled look on his face. Ever since ninth grade
when I was online and someone from my school played a trick to see if I was
gay, I've been bullied, teased, and almost everything in the book. My mom
still tries to set me up with girls that she knows from the mother's she
works with at her law firm. After gym I wait in the hall for the bell to
ring then proceed to geometry where the teacher is a class-a bitch. The
rest of the day is uneventful, I mastered the act of not being noticed, and
then in law class Mrs. Hicks writes the topic of the day on the
bored.... Gay marriage.
I sigh deeply and I can just feel eyes all upon me. I put my head
down and just listen to nasty images coming out of people's mouth's, " Fags
should be shot, they think they can just parade around and do whatever they
please." " Fags are what's gonna make the world come to an end, they're the
devils army." I just rolled my eyes. I've learned to just close my eyes and
heart when I hear people talk bad about me and my people, but for some
reason my mouth and ears just won't shut. I wipe the tear from my eye just
as the bell rings and rush out of the classroom. Under the stairs I wait
for my friends. Again tuning in and out I watch this creature walk by me.
Someone I've never seen before. He was a god, a beauty that couldn't be
matched. About 5'9 nicely built with an ass to die for, brown hair with
highlights, brown eyes, and the one thing that can drive me crazy a beanie
on his head. Of course my friends say me looking, and just snickered...I
didn't care, he was too beautiful to care about people that can't accept
people for who they are. I was going to look all I wanted to. Until I
realized he was coming towards me, " You really shouldn't stare...it's not
polite" he whispers in my ear. I just look at Amanda as she speaks, " I
told you so"

Well that's chapter 1. Hope you liked it!
