As a bonus to being friends of Kyle and Knapp, Alex
and Devon got to grab a bite to eat, in the kitchen of
Eden. Alex observed a couple of things, mostly about
Knapp. A big difference, where Kyle offered things,
Knapp more or less dictated them.

"Here we go. Sit over there, Devon."

Devon took a seat at a round table, not far from the
pool. Kyle offered a seat to Alex.

"Hey, Devon, want to go grab the hamburgers off the
grill for me?"

He handed Devon the turner.

"I'll get our's," Kyle offered.

While at the grill, Kyle says to Devon, "If my brother
gets too bossy, tell him off."

"I didn't think that at all."

"He has a way of doing that."

"I figured the least I can do, since you're extending
your hospitality, is give a little service."

"Okay, Devon, but remember what I said."

Devon remembered alright. When Knapp `asked' Devon to
get a coupla more Cokes for them, something tingled
down in Devon's loins.

"Sure, no problem," Devon replied, heading for the
outdoors fridge for two more Cokes.

Knapp yells out to Alex and Kyle, "You guys want more
Cokes?"

"Sure," they replied.

"Hey, Devon, make that four Cokes."

Devon was halfway there, but went back for two more.
Feeling the heat, of the way Knapp said it was like
turning up the flame. Devon felt he had to get to the
table quick to hide something throbbing!

"How late are you on tonight?"

"Tonight? Midnight," Kyle relayed back to Alex.

"I'll prolly be waiting on tables."

Knapp has a different story.

"I won't be off til 2 am. I'm dancing for Dave
tonight."

"Dancing?" Devon inquired, sitting down.

He kind of felt himself getting `big', but had to
slowly work his hand under the table to `feel' how
big.

Kyle filled Alex and Devon in, "Yeah, Knapp stands on
a square block, like that one over there and dances
for tips. He pitch hits for a guy when he calls out."

"Oh? How does that go?" Alex asked.

Rather than Kyle explain, Knapp stole the scene.

"I stand on the cube, in my skimpy g-string and dance.
A guy tucks some bills in my `pouch' and gets to touch
me."

"Touch you?"

"Yeah, but he better not get fresh or try anything
stupid."

"I'm lost," Alex said.

Very nicely, Knapp says to Alex, "I'm dancing up
there, right?"

"Right."

"Some guy comes over to me and stashes a $20 bill in
my pouch."

"Your pouch?"

"The thing covering Knapp's cock, Alex," Devon fills
him in.

"Um, Devon, want to get me another burger?"

Alex noticed Knapp not saying `please', or even
looking at Devon. Was what Kyle said about his brother
true? He listened for the rest of Knapp's story, about
his Eden experience.

"As I was saying, he puts his 20 in my pouch. Then he
gets to feel me up. Run his hands over my bod. If he
wants to suck my cock through the pouch, he can."

Kyle breaks in, "But God help the man who tries to
move the pouch, to get at more!"

"Really?" Alex asked.

Same time, Alex noticed nothing said to Kyle, from
Knapp.

"Hey, Devon, wanna get another bottle of ketchup? This
one's empty. You guys want any more Cokes while
Devon's up?"

Their hour lunch went into ninety minutes, but there
didn't seem to be anyone to check up on Knapp and
Kyle.

"Where's your boss?" Alex asks.

"Around some place. But we're going to take the rest
of the afternoon off anyway," Knapp says.

"You are?"

"You can make that decision?" Devon asks.

"Sure. I'm almost an assistant manager around here,"
Knapp informs them. "If you guys want, we can soak up
some sun on the beach with you."

Originally the plan went where Devon and Alex would be
together, but now neither minded the brother's
company, as if things went along, understood.

"Sure we would."

"Your other friends wouldn't mind, would they?"

"Greg and Carlos? Nah," Alex said.

"Cool!" Kyle said.

"It'll only take a minute to jump into our swimwear,"
Alex told them.

"We'll wait for you right here," Kyle said.

On the way upstairs, Alex asks, "Devon, don't you
think Knapp is being bossy?"

"No, I don't think so," he lied, "I just figure I was
helping out."

"Kyle told me Knapp can get a little bossy, or seem
that way."

"I found him to be normal."

Alex didn't agree, instead switching subjects.

"It's alright with you, isn't it, that I hang with
Kyle?"

"By all means," Devon replies, as he steps into his
speedo.

"I think Kyle is really cool."

"I feel the same about Knapp. I don't know what it is
about him, but he really turns me on."

Alex had an idea, but kept it to himself.

"He's two years older than you."

"Yeah. I know."

"Okay. I just want to make sure you're going to be
okay, Devon."

It showed the type of friendship guys can have, even
if they didn't wind up being lovers.

"I'll be fine," Devon said, standing in front of Alex.
"One last kiss for luck?"

Alex conceded, each taking the other in their arms. It
wasn't a real passionate kiss, but friendly
nevertheless.

"We better get going."

"Yeah," Devon says, jokingly, "we don't want to keep
`the master' waiting."

"Exactly."

"What?" Devon questioned Alex's look.

"Knapp. Did you notice how he more or less ordered you
to get the Cokes... get his hamburger from the grill
and didn't bother to even say `please'?"

"So he doesn't have manners."

"Sure. He drives a $35,000 mustang."

"What's your point, Alex?"

"The family's gotta have money. With money comes
manners."

"How do you know he didn't win the lottery?"

"I don't. But money's not the point here, Devon.
Manners are."

"I know. You're just watching out for me."

"I am and if things get rough..."

"Rough? Like what? I'm not going to let some guy slap
me around!"

"I didn't mean like that. I don't know what I mean. I
don't want to read into this, go and spoil it for
you."

"Me?"

"Yeah. It's obvious, Devon. You're crazy about Knapp
and want to... date him?"

"And Kyle?"

"I think he's cute."

"Well, at least it'll be all in the family."

"That's right. We're dating two brothers."

"Well, we better get a move on it or it'll be over
before it begins."

Quickly the two raced for lead, down the stairs.
Halfway down the second flight, they had to slowdown
for passerby's.

"Interesting, to say the least," one of the guys said
of Alex's `S' and Devon's uniquely cut stomach trail.

"Thanks," each responded, but didn't linger.

"Interesting," Knapp too commented, even though he
already viewed Devon's `candycane' cut tummy trail.
"What makes a guy want to have his body hair cut like
this?"

Did Devon's loins tingle now, with Knapp feeling the
gaps in the cut hair.

"Well, my chest isn't as hairy as Alex's or I would be
playing second Superman to him."

"I see."

Devon wasn't sure, either way, if Knapp really liked
his trail, cut with gaps in between. Not that he
cared, but if would've been interesting to get his gut
feeling.

Kyle says, "If I had a hairy bod like you, I would
have you do the same for me."

"It's only for now. I'm letting it grow back. See?
Even after a day's growth, it's coming back in
already!"

Going to look more closely at the carved out `S', Alex
lifted the eighteen year old's chin.

"What?"

"Nothing," Alex simply said, smiling.

Kyle simply smiled back, then said, "C'mon. The beach
is waiting!"

Alex yelled back, "See ya later Devon!"

Out of Eden the two sped, across a service road and
then jumping into the hot sand, ankle deep.

"It's so warm."

"Yeah, but the water doesn't warm up until the end of
the month or July," Kyle informed Alex.

"Still, if we hug each other, our body-heat might keep
us warm."

Alex then realized what he proposed.

"Sorry. I didn't mean it that way."

"Why not?" Kyle questioned his motives. "I think it
would be a good try at keeping warm."

"Heeey! There's my friends, Greg and Carlos!"

Pulling him by the hand, Alex charges down the beach.

"When are you guys going hang-gliding?"

"You're kidding, Alex. You didn't see us?"

"We bought cameras to take pictures of you," Alex told
them.

"That's okay," Carlos replies, "we're going tomorrow,
too."

Greg adds, "As long as you can lend us a hundred bucks
to go again."

"No problem," Alex replies.

The whole time Alex is chatting with Greg and Carlos,
Kyle feels their eyes all over him!

"Excuse me for not introducing you to Kyle. This is
Greg Charney and Carlos Ramerez."

For the first time, Carlos notices the cut-out on
Alex's chest and stomach.

"Greg did that to you?"

"No. I did it myself. Like it?"

"It's okay," Carlos says in a mediocre way.

"I think it's cool!" Kyle speaks up for him.

"I mean it's okay," Carlos tried to recover his
feelings, "it's just I wouldn't want it done to me."

Like Alex, Carlos' chest and stomach has bloomed early
in his teen years. Across his chest, two pink nips are
nestled in dark, almost black hair. Unlike Alex's
stomach, more like Devon's, a tapered trail runs down
his stomach, fanning out over his navel. A tight
treasure trail dodged into his speedos.
Greg's questions more focus on Kyle.

"Where did you two guys meet? At the hotel?"

"Yes," Kyle replies.

Alex gives more info, saying, "Kyle works at Eden."

"Really? Cool. What do you do?"

"I take care of the pool during the day and wait
tables at night."

"Poolboy?" Carlos questions. "How cool can that be?"

Greg says, "And waits tables for all those hot, gay
guys?"

Alex further reveals, "And Kyle's bro is assistant
manager of the club."

"Almost," Kyle corrects him.

"Cool! Can he get us some jobs?" Carlos pushes.

"I dunno. I can ask."

"Think about it, guys," Alex questions the two, "you
would have to find a place to stay. I'm sure this area
of the Jersey shore is expensive during the summer
months to rent."

"Oh, they wouldn't have a problem," Kyle fills them
in. "None of us do. We stay in the basement area of
the Impresario. All us workers have the same option.
The management doesn't charge us either."

"Basement?" Greg questions, "Is it like a windowless
prison?"

"It's quite nice actually. Two of the apartment-like
rooms have windows. One is Knapp's and the other is
mine."

"Who?"

"Oh, Kyle hasn't mentioned his brother, Knapp...
K-n-a-p-p," Alex lets them know.

Kyle further explains, "My dad and Knapp have the same
first name, Keith, so we call him Knapp. Long story."

"I get it," Greg replies. "Keith Sr. and Keith Jr.
Hey, you know where we can get something to eat?"

"Yeah," Carlos reiterates, "cheap?"

Smiling, almost giggling, Kyle sets them on the trail
back to Eden, telling them to look for Knapp.

"A couple of characters, aren't they?" Alex asks.

"I think they look cute together."

"Well, originally Greg was `my' date for the prom."

"That's right, you haven't told me how you wound up
here at Eden."

"There's not much of a story."

The two, like natural, took up with each other's hand
and began walking the beach.

"Back in Lake Quinn we came out at the prom."

"Out? How's that go?"

"Well, before us, there were only `girl-boy' couples.
This year we decided to break down the barriers, so to
speak."

"So, you and Greg went to the prom."

"Yup and when Devon found out, he got Carlos to go
along with him."

"So, Devon and Carlos aren't boyfriends?"

"Nope. Just friends. I almost thought he had a thing
for me."

"Oh?"

"Yeah. Greg and Carlos were sacked out last night...
separate beds. I started to walk down to the beach.
Devon got my attention and we found ourselves a couple
of beers and the moonlight."

"The moon was nice last night. I would have liked to
have shared it with you."

"That's real sweet, Kyle."

"So, what happened to Devon?"

"We lay on the beach and it seems between the beers
and the complimentary champaygne, we got carried
away."

"You made love?"

"We didn't go that far. I still had it in my head that
I was with Greg. Besides, I know it isn't cool to say
this at our age, but I'm still a virgin."

"You're not the only one, Alex."

"Really? Cool."

"And you would think the same of Knapp, but like me,
we're saving ourselves for that one special guy."

"Same as I figured, literally instead of rushing `in'
to things!"

They were getting along good, talking and joking, til
it was time to turn back.
