Ok, screw it. I'm not putting the disclaimer on anymore. You people will
have to read the first chapters to get it if you want it sooooooooo
bad. LOL. Well, enjoy the story at least.

Giving In: Part 3

By: Dark

2 years earlier.

The hot Arizona air was really getting to me. But, it was ok, `cause I was
gonna be spending this hot July day at my best friend's house, and as an
extra bonus, he's got air conditioning. WOO! It was my 13th birthday and I
was as happy and as nervous as a boy can get. On one hand, I was sleeping
over at my best friend's house. I've known this kid since we were in
diapers. On the other hand, I was gonna tell him I was gay. I had no clue
what so ever how he's gonna take it. I hope he won't, like, disown me or
something.

Anyway, here I was, in my bathroom putting some gel in my hair with a towel
wrapped around my waist, praying that Mr. Winky wouldn't make an appearance
and expose my little secret.

"Aaron, Jake's mom is here, so you better get your ass in gear babe!" mom
yelled from downstairs.

Shit! I better hurry. I threw on a shirt and a pair of shorts. I grabbed my
bag that was laying on my bed. I nearly slipped down the stairs. I quickly
hugged mom while she said happy birthday and I ran out.

"Hon!! Your shoes!" she shouted at me, a hint of laughter in her voice.

I stopped dead in my tracks and turned around.

"Thanks." I said, looking over my shoulder, trying to put on my shoes and
running to the car at the same time. Not an easy feat, I'll tell you that
much. When I got to the car, it was only Jake's mom in there.

"Where's Jake?" I asked, a little disappointed.

"He's at home, getting stuff ready. I guess he wants tonight to be
perfect." she said with a small laugh. "Oh, by the way, Happy Birthday!"

"Thanks." I replied. Jake's mom was cool, but I was still a little down
that Jake didn't come. Why didn't he? Did he want to postpone it so he
wouldn't have to see me? No, no, no, it'll be alright. He still liked me I
was thinking. Everything will be fine. It'll be ok. It'll be ok.

After about 3 minutes of thinking this, we got to his house. I walked in
with his mom and then went upstairs to his room. But he wasn't there. As I
was walking out, he jumped out from a corner and shouted.

"AHH! FUCK! You scared the crap outta me!" I said, falling back on his desk
chair, trying to catch my breath. He was just standing there laughing his
ass off.

"HAHAHAHA! That was priceless. WOO! The look on your face." he panted,
trying to stop laughing. Then a big smile appeared on his face. "Happy
B-Day man. I went and rented so many movies, it's not even funny." he said,
finally calming down, but still had a huge grin on his face. "Aaaaaaand,
look what I got." He pulled out two forty ounce bottles of Corona.

"Where did you get that?" my eyes widened at the sight. He chuckled again.

"Found them in my dad's office. He had like ten of them, so he won't miss
them. Man, this is gonna be an awesome night, trust me." he said. He was
practically jumping with all the excitement. I couldn't help but laugh at
him. I loved this kid. Everyone did. You couldn't help it. He was just
always happy and it spreads too. You can't help it if he's around, you just
have to smile.

"Wait, um, Jake. I need to tell you something, ok?" I said, kind of keeping
quiet. His smile almost completely dropped as he got a bit more serious,
sensing my concern.

"Yea, what's up?" he asked. I looked up at his face, his cute concerned
face. I couldn't help but to open up.

"Um, I'm, a^Ågay." I muttered out the last part, barely audible. I could
tell that this totally shocked him. He just kind of rocked back on his
heels and nearly fell over. "Jake?" He just kind of looked at me.

"Don't ever talk to me, ok? Just go away." he whispered, sitting down on
the chair. I nearly fainted right there, but I gathered my strength and
walked out of his door. I walked out, not noticed by anyone `cause everyone
was pretty much all asleep. I then ran as fast I could into the desert to
my place. My place was a rock formation about a quarter mile away. It's
where I go to think and I had a lot to think about. I sat down on the rocks
and faced the sky and cried. I was sitting there for like twenty minutes
when I heard someone coming. I stood up and turned around to see Jake
standing there, his hands in his pockets, and he was looking down.

"Um, I've," he sighed. "I've been thinking and," as he walked over and
hugged me really close. "I don't ever want you to go away." He started to
sob in my arms. "I'm so sorry. Never go away, ok?" he asked.

"Don't worry. I never could." I smiled.

"Good. `Cause," he then leaned in and gave me a quick kiss on the lips,
"Cause I love you." I just stared at him, astonished. "Why are you looking
at me like that?" A smile broke across is face and he ran his sleeves
across his eyes to wipe away his tears.

"You love me?" is all I could get out.

"Yeah, I always have." he kissed me again, `cept a bit longer this
time. "Ok, let's go. The drinks are getting warm and the movies are getting
dusty. We gotta get going." he said smiling, as he threw his arm over my
shoulder and brought us side to side. We walked back to his house.

After that night we were inseparable. We always slept over at each other's
houses and did everything together. And believe me, when he said that he
loved me, the feeling was mutual. I guess he was my boyfriend now. (BIG
GRIN) WOO!

3 months later, Jake was gonna have a party just for the hell of it. His
parents were really cool, they totally let him go with it. They even left
for the night. Of course there was the no beer, no drugs, blah, blah, blah
rules. But it didn't matter, a party was a party. There was a lot of people
too and I had a lot of fun.

Hey, you guys hear about that Rave they're gonna to have in the desert next
weekend? Cory asked. Cory was a friend of ours and probably the only person
that knew about us.

"How the hell are we gonna get into a Rave?" I asked. "Not to mention that
we're only 13. They don't exactly let you in then."

"Are you kidding? Anyone could get in. It's in the fucking desert. So, you
wanna go?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Sure, count us in." Jake said, sounding excited.

Hey! I'm really sorry it took me sooooooo long to put this out. I've had
HUGE writer's block and too much family stuff. LOL. Everything's back to
normal now, so it's all good. I finally decided that a flashback was a cool
idea, LOL. Ok, anyway, I want feedback, got it? LOL. Hope to hear from you
people. Bye
