Subject: High School Hell chapter 6

Chapter 6


            During that next week the whole family prepared to move down to
ohio. A moving van showed up on Tuesday they were going to go down on
Saturday. The boys had pretty much all of there stuff packed on Thursday
except for the cloths that they were going to wear tomorrow. The trip back
would take twelve hours if they hit a lot of traffic in Chicago thirteen to
fourteen. Everyone planned on wearing lazy clothes and they planned on
stopping right before they went through Chicago then they would only stop
for pottie breaks. George and Jackie had two cars a mini van and a grand
pre Aaron would be driving the grand pre with Ken and would also be lugging
some of the luggage to the new house in marion.  When everything was loaded
at three in the morning george asked "are you sure that you will be able to
handle the wild child and ken."

"well thanks I think I will be able to hold off for twelve hours." Said
Jamie. "sure" said george " he will I wont let him be unzipping anything."
Said Eric laughing. "if my memory serves me right you're the one that's
always horny." Said Jamie. "ok and ive heard enough." Said george. And they
all started to laugh then they all got into the cars and drove off. George
had given Eric one of the Nextel phones so that they could walkie talkie
each other. "alright dad were ready to follow you." Said Eric. "are you
sure you know what your doing." Asked george. "yeah dad ive been on this
journey so many times that I practically have it memorized." Said Eric. "
ok then were on our way now we will meet you right outside of Chicago and
radio if you need to make a stop for any reason." Said george. They got on
the way and Jamie plugged in his ipod to the stereo and started to play
show tunes when ken said "ok im in the car please can we not listen to girl
music or show tunes."

"well I dunno we might if your nice and say please and latter on we are
going to listen to wicked and maybe hairspray im sure that you will like
them." Said Eric "Hun will you go to the punk rock section on the ipod to
appease the straight one in the car."

"sure Hun." Said Jamie as he turned it and then leaned over and kissed Eric
on the cheek.

            When they all reached the out skirts of Chicago they refueled
and had breakfast. "I cant wait until we get to Marion Kenton, hellen Jamie
and I are taking you out shopping because I want new cloths too." Said
Eric. "are you cereal."said Helen. "yeah were cereal." Said Eric
laughing. "where did you come up with that" he asked her "well I got it off
of someone at school." She replied. "so is everyone ready to get back on
the road." Asked george. "yeah but first I need a bathroom break." Said
Jamie. "why don't we all take one" suggested Eric.



            Once they were back on the road Eric turned wicked on. "ken
this is my favorite song."  Said Eric. "what's it called." Said ken "its
called `dancing through time"

"I kinda like it" said ken. "yeah I thought that you might ill play my
other favorites like defying gravity and popular." Said Eric. "oh oh we
have to play popular next I love that song." Said Jamie already starting to
sing the song. "oh my god Hun I just thought about something you got you
license in Minnesota but had your temps in Ohio. Will your license still
work in Ohio." Asked Jamie. "yeah alls I have to do is go and get my
license switched." Said Eric.



            They rest of the drive went well they stopped one more time to
have a bathroom break and refuel. When they got into Marion it was mid
afternoon. "the company has arranged a house that we can live in here it
actually close to where you used to live Eric" said George When they got to
the house it was huge to say the least it was white with two stories. As
you walked in through the front door you had the living room which was very
large and you had a dining room right off of the living room and the stairs
to the upstairs were in the dining room and if you went left there were two
bed rooms and a bath room. Upstairs there were another two bed rooms and a
full and half bath the full bathroom was off of the bedroom at the left
then the half bath was right in front of the stairs then the other bedroom
is on the right of the stairs. "ok well Jackie and I get the first pick in
bed room." Said George "were taking the one on the front side of the house
and were going to go ahead and give the one with the bathroom to the boys,
Helen you get the other one downstairs and ken you get the other one
upstairs." Said George. Everyone then went back out to the cars and started
unloading everything that they had taken the moving truck wasn't supposed
to be there until tomorrow after noon and so everyone had taken an air
mattress and sleeping bag some cloths and other toiletry's. "ok since the
house already has a refrigerator im going to head to the story and pick up
some things that we can just munch on and some other things for breakfast
tomorrow until the truck arrives with our stove and other things." Said
Jackie. "oh Jamie would you come with me I am going to need help navigating
since I've never lived here before."

"yeah sure see ya latter Hun" said Jamie as he gave him a kiss. "bye see
you latter." Said Eric.

While everyone was getting things put away and taking showers Eric looked
around the house and took a look in the basement there were washer and
dryer hook ups and then an area for a tv couch and maybe some other things.
Then he went back upstairs and looked around the room and thought this room
is so big and all of our stuff is so small hmm maybe I need to spend some
more money and buy a new bed room set. When Jackie and Jamie got back Eric
said "hey guys when you get that stuff put away can we go out and look at
bed room sets because I was looking around our room and all of our stuff is
so small so I was thinking we could go to the mall I know they have a store
out there and we could just look around." Said Eric "yeah sure lets go
then" said Jackie.

            When they got to the mall they were just window shopping until
they came by the store that they were looking for and went in. about five
minutes after they had entered a floor salesman came over "what can I do
for you today." He said the man looked to be in his mid thirtys black hair
brown eyes wearing a suit he looked like he had an average body he wasn't
skinny but he wasn't fat either.  "yes theres actually something that you
can do for us were looking to get a new bed room set for our room" said
Eric. "well then we only have a few sets there over here." He said When
Jamie and Eric saw the first set it was a stained oak wood and it came with
a king sized bed head board and foot board dresser with a mirror. "we'll
take it" they both said in unison. "ok well this set in particular is
899.99." said the sales person. "you take checks right." Asked Eric. "yes
we do"

"can you deliver it tomorrow." Asked Jamie

"yes we can"

Eric wrote the check and they all left and continued going through the mall
"hey lets go in to the jewelry store and look around." said Jackie.  They
all went in and started looking around "Eric what do you think about those
rings" said Jamie pointing at a set of gold wedding bands. "wow those are
beautiful and may I ask why are you looking at wedding bands." Asked Eric
giving Jamie an look. "well I was just looking at the pretty rings im sorry
is that a crime." Said Jamie. "no not at all just wondering if your
expecting me to marry you or something. " said Eric. "aright you two lets
go to the office store." Said Jackie.

            They went out of the jewelry store and continued on walking to
office depot. They just went in to look for a desk and two computers. "Eric
look that desk looks good it matches our bed room set." Said Jamie. "ok
then we'll get this one can you go and get someone to get the box for us
while I get someone and talk computer to them" asked Eric "yeah sure Hun."
Said Jamie. While Jamie was getting the box for the desk to be taken Eric
was talking to one of the managers about the desktops and laptops they
had. "well I want a desktop and a laptop." Said Eric "well what are you
looking for in both of your computers." Asked the manager who was a very
thin women with blond hair which was pulled up into a bun in the
back. "well for the desktop I want it for mostly graphics and storage. And
the laptop will be for school. But I want both of them with window vista. I
want the desktop with a terabyte of hard drive memory and with three gigs
of ram and I want a 250 gigabyte hard drive with the laptop and both of
them need to have a 2.5 gigahertz processor." Said Eric while the lady was
writing everything down. "ok well then let me go and enter everything into
the computer and make sure everything will work. And I will get you an
estimate on how much that's going to cost you." Said the manager. While she
was busy doing that Jamie came up and said that he had gotten everything
with the desk and that the man that had helped him gave him this receipt to
scan in when we were checking out. "ok sir I will have to special order
them but I will be able to get them there by the middle of next week but if
you want them earlier its going to cost more" she said. "how early can you
get them to us" asked Eric "well I can have them there by Monday" she said
"ok well do that now with the desk how much are we looking at"asked Eric
"well the desk you picked out is 200 the desktop will be 1000 and the
laptop is going to be 1300 so with tax that's going to be 1712 dollars. Now
how will you be paying for all of this." She asked "check" said Eric then
he wrote the check and they left the mall and went back to the house.


            "what have you three been up to while you've been gone." Asked
George "well we've been spending a lot of money. Like twenty eight hundred
dollars." Said Eric. "holy crap what did you all buy." Asked George. "well
a bedroom set a desktop a laptop and a computer desk." Said Jamie. "well
then you've had a busy after noon. Oh I called the cable company to get
cable and internet I will be needing it for work." Said George. "what kind
did you get" asked Eric "well I got the fastest I could get they said it
was 15 megabits whatever that means." Said George "dad that's really fast
and it's a measurement of speed." Eric. "whatever you're the computer nerd
of the family."  Said George. "hey be nice to my boyfriend because hes one
hot nerd." Laughed Jamie. "ok everyone I think that we need to go to bed we
have a long day tomorrow." Said George

            They all made there way to there bedrooms. "wanna do it." Asked
Jamie "geesh could you be any less romantic" said Eric "maybe" replied
Jamie "and no I don't want to do it I had to drive like twelve hundred
miles today and all that other stuff.  Tomorrow night when our new bed
arrives we can though." Said Eric laughing a bit at the fake hurt look on
Jamie's face. "fine" sighed Jamie.  They both got into the duffle bags they
brought and put there pajamas on and crawled under the covers looking
towards each other. Gently kissing each other "do you know how much I love
you" said Eric. "a little bit" said Jamie "no I love you so big." Said Eric
"you're a goofy butt." Said Jamie laughing a little. Then they both fell
into la la land.
