His Name, Jared Chapter 2
Before
I knew it...the time for the party had finally arrived. "What would I wear"
I thought. " Perhaps I should wear what I wore to school...No...It's
Jenna's party and everyone always looks amazing..." I said loudly. I went
to my closet and found a button down shirt that I hadn't wore in a while. I
put it over what I had on and sprayed plenty of cologne. I could hear my
phone ringing. "Hey Jacques! You ready yet?" Claire asked in her party
voice. "Of course I'm ready, I be down right now!" I said hanging up and
running downstairs.
When
we reached Jenna's street it was almost impossible to find a parking
space. There were so many cars and the loud music could be heard. From
where we were. It was some very cool track playing from Benny Benassi. In
the distance we could see Jenna's large mansion. "Ok this parking lot
should be good..." Claire said parking quickly and getting off. I walked
along side with Claire. "This party should be very great!" Claire whispered
as we entered the Mansion. Inside there were so many people. Some of them
students that Claire and I knew and some that we had never seen before. I
noticed a few guys that seemed very hot...none of them...well I prefer not
to say his name. "Jacques!" shouted Emma as she saw me standing there with
Claire who was now talking to her boyfriend Scott. "Hey! What's up Jacques
How are you doing?" Emma asked with her cute smile. She was wearing this
very nice black dress and some very tall high heels, along with an
excessive amount of make-up. "I'm doing pretty good...this party is
awesome!" I said as I noticed some drunk girl chasing some guy with a water
gun.
I began
to jump up and down with Emma hysterically when a remix from the killers
started playing loudly. "Jacques I made you something to drink..." Claire
said handing me a wine glass with a blue colored substance. "Well isn't
that nice of you Claire!" I said wondering if there was something in
it. "Just in case you're wondering I didn't put anything in it" Claire
laughed. She went back to talking to her boyfriend. Emma went to talk about
something...but I couldn't focus on what she was saying because I could see
Jenna talking to Jared. I got really nervous suddenly, Emma continued to
talk.
I
stood there listening to Emma go on about her cheerleading squad...I kept
glancing at Jared. "Wow! Emma so Kelsey didn't show up to practice at all
what a bitch!" I said sarcastically. I finished my drink and then decided
to go for another one. I didn't want to get drunk...especially not with
Jared around so I grabbed a Pepsi. I went back to Emma who had plenty to
say about her cheerleading squad. I glanced again to where Jared was with
Jenna. He wasn't there anymore I noticed... "Is this party cool? Or what?"
Claire shouted in the midst of a chug beer contest which she
instigated. Emma wanted a go so instead of watching her make a fool out of
herself I went to Jenna's back yard. There were some couple making out, and
there was a large pool and as well where the other half of the party took
place. She had an amazing garden though, I walked over to check it out. The
flowers were so nice and visible due to the light outside. I walked around
the garden noticing all of the flowers. "Hey!" Claire called out coming
towards me. "Hey what's up not enough beer action" I joked. "Ha! No! why
are you all here by yourself" she asked worriedly. "Oh..don't worry about
me! I'm fine" I said. "Well you could come back into the house...they like
have strobe lights and Jenna's living room is now a huge dance floor"
Claire said. "Interesting I'll check it out!" I said looking forward to a
good dance. As soon as a came in Emma grabbed my hand and said "Let's
dance!" I smiled as Emma took me to the dance floor.
"I love
this song!" Emma shouted happily. Neither of us could dance okay but it was
our confidence that made us seem like we knew how to dance. "Where are my
keys I lost my phone! Oh oh!" sang Emma along with the loud Lady Gaga track
"Just Dance". "I have to go to the restroom" I told Emma after a few
songs. "Okay hurry!" Emma replied as she continued to dance. She grabbed
another partner as I left.
I had
totally forgotten about the god I met at school today, unfortunately I
bumped into him. It wasn't that I was trying to avoid him...it was just
that when we met I was nervous and I didn't want him to think that I was
into him, although that was the truth. "Hey...it's you" he said
cheerfully. His beautiful eyes glowing with the flashing lights. "Yes,
hey...you're having fun?" I asked trying to make small talk. I realized
that I wasn't as nervous this time...Thank god. "Yes I'm having fun!! Jenna
throws great parties!" said Jared. "Yeah she does throw great parties!" I
agreed. "She's my sister by the way" Jared added. "Really...Jenna...! So
how come I've never seen you before?" I asked amazed at how much I could
say without choking or stuttering. "I always lived with my dad..." That's
probably why he said. "Well so you'll be staying here?" I asked. "Yes, My
parents are back together, so yes I'll stay here" he said smiling. "Well
since you live here do you mind showing me where the restroom is?" I
asked. "Of course, follow m e dude" he said cheerfully. I couldn't believe
that I was talking this much to Jared...This has to be heaven!
"Right here!" he
said turning on the lights. "Wow this is awesome thanks!" I said admiring
the beautifully decorated extra large bathroom. He closed the door. It was
hard for me to manage to pee, not with the hottest/cutest guy on earth
right outside the bathroom. Somehow I managed. I steeped outside. I looked
around. "Oh well..." I thought. "At least I was able to talk to him for a
while..."
I started to walk
back to Emma, when someone scared me. "What the heck?I said turning around
to see Jared laughing hysterically. "Dude! The look on your face was
priceless!" he laughed. "Thanks so much dude!" I laughed. "It's cool! I get
scared too...especially at night!" he said with the cutest smile. I
couldn't help but imagine Jared and I cuddled In bed together on a dark
stormy night. Hey a guy can dream can't he!
