Chapter 91 ended

David blushed but did not try to cover up and J was able to confirm that
there were some hairs down there already and he fought his temptation to
reach out and touch the boy. Then in a conspiring whisper, "If you have any
questions, you can come and ask. I don't know if I will be able to answer
them all, but I will do my best." And he winked at David and touched the
side of his nose to show that it would be their secret. Getting up, J went
into his room and leaving the door open still he began to dress for the
day.

Chapter 92

J got the boys ready and led them off to the dining hall for breakfast. He
noticed as they made their way there that Michael, John and David were
walking and talking together. J was pleased because he wanted those three
to be a bit of team who would support each other in their journeys of
exploration and discovery. Once again J was happy to find that his dorm
were the first to be lined up and as such, were the first to go into the
dining room and this meant that he was the first dorm leader into the
leader's dining room which gave him the opportunity to get hot food and sit
where he wanted.

J had just started to tuck in when Stephan came up and asked if he could
sit with J.

"This is our room, not my room, so you don't need to ask me if it is
ok. But I would be glad for you to share the same table with me." J
responded showing his equality with Stephan.

"That's great. I like that idea; I won't ask you again. How did your first
night go with little horrors, you're looking pretty tired as if you didn't
get much sleep?" Stephan asked.

"No it was fine. I think I've got a pretty good lot actually. I just had
one who went to the loo in the early hours and then got lost going back to
his bed and ended up in my room. I guess the broken sleep has taken its
toll. Hopefully tonight will go better." J answered.

"Maybe you can sneak off during the morning and catch a few hours of rest
while they are all at activities." Stephan suggested.

"Lucked out there, I'm down to help on the activity fields today and so
will be tied up both sessions. No it will have to wait until the little
angels are in bed also. How is your lot shaping up?"

"I've a real mixed bunch. One cussed me out and tried to punch me in the
balls when I would not let him bully a kid much smaller than him. And then
I have others who are so quiet I could forget they are there. And the usual
in-between lot who are neither bad nor good." Stephan replied. "But by the
end of the camp they will all be wanting to stay for another week and will
promise me anything to be allowed to do so."

As Stephan said this, a young guy walked into the dining room and headed
towards the serving hatch to place his order. "Gar come and join us when
you're ready," Stephan called out. "That is Garfield, but he prefers to be
called Gar because he is not a ginger cat. He is one of the ones who flew
over with some of our lot. I think you and he might have more in common
than what he and I have, if you get my meaning." Stephan explained.

"Ok, thanks, but you only think, you don't know for sure?" J asked for
clarification.

"What does he not know for sure?" Gar asked as he sat down to wait for his
breakfast to be brought to him. "I'm Gar by the way." He introduced
himself.

"Hi, I'm J. Pleased to meet you." J stretched out a hand to shake and Gar
took it and gave it a firm grip as they shook. "And I guess you already
know Stephan."

"Yeah, he was with me on my first camp last year. Have you been a leader
before?" Gar asked.

"No this is my first time and today is my first full day." J smiled.

"Is Stephan your mentor then?" Gar asked.

"No, Jeff was supposed to be my mentor but he has had to fly home because
his mum is dying." J responded.

"Jeff as in Jeff Steven's, about 5' 10" blond and blue eyes?" Gar asked.

"The same." J confirmed.

"His foster or his birth mum?" Gar asked again.

"His real mum not his biological mother." J confirmed.

"Shit that is bad news. Is he cut up about it?" Gar inquired.

"Yeah he is quite upset. He was not his usual when he took us to the
restaurant the night before he left." J answered.

"I'm going to leave you two with your question and answer session as I want
to check something before my horrors come out from breakfast." Stephan
interrupted and stood to leave the table.

"Ok, see you later then." J said.

"Yeah see you." Gar added.

Stephan moved off and left the dining room. "By restaurant are you meaning
Pandelakis' place in Polichrono?" Gar asked when they were alone.

"Have you been there too?" J answered his question with his own.

"Yeah. Were you filmed dancing with waiters?" Gar asked.

"And afterwards also." J confirmed.

"Did you have the one called Medas?" Gar asked.

"Yeah we had Medas and Sacha." J told him.

"We?" Gar raised an inquisitive eyebrow.

J leaned forward and whispered, "My boyfriend Gerald, and I."

"Ah. We will have to talk more when we can have a bit of privacy." Gar said
as it was now time to go and take care of the boys again.

J and Gar left together and walked around to the camper's dining
room. "What you on today?" Gar asked.

"I'm helping with the field activities all day." J said, "And you?"

"Oh us guys who came over on the plane have the morning off to catch up on
the jet lag, but I will be on the fields this afternoon." Gar confirmed.

As they reached the dining room doors, John, Michael and David came out and
walked straight over to J. "Hi J," they greeted him, "who's your friend?"

"Hi guys. This is Gar, another dorm leader. How was breakfast?"

"It was good. I didn't have to go back for seconds because the firsts
filled me up." Michael spoke out as usual. "What are we doing today?"

"You all are going to be buried up to your neck in sand and we will come
and dig you out at the end of the week." J said.

"That's not a when you least expect thing is it?" David asked nervously.

"No. ... But now that you suggest it, you've got me thinking." J
teased. "Where are the rest of the boys?"

"Dunno." John said.

"It's, I do not know J, not dunno." J corrected him smiling and the other
two giggled.

"We do not know, J" Michael mimicked, and the rest of them laughed,
including J and Gar.

"You're going to do alright." Gar said and then called over a couple of his
boys. "Catch up with you later." He said to J as he led his boys off to
collect the rest of his dorm.

"Later." J called in agreement. "Now you go and get the other guys and tell
them to come out to me here." J sent his trio off on an errand.

Gar joined the team on the fields after lunch, but apart from quick
comments made as they passed each other, J and Gar did not get a chance for
a private conversation. It was only when they met up in the leader's dining
room for the evening meal that they had a little opportunity to chat and
discovered that they were both free for the time of the evening activities
and so agreed they would have a chat then. They met up back in the leader's
lounge after they had got their boys safely to their evening activity. They
couldn't buy any drinks though because both of them were underage so they
settled for a coke each and were sitting quietly in a corner when Spiro
came in.

"Ah J and Gar. I'm glad you've met each other. Would you like something a
little stronger than those cokes?" He asked.

"Thank you." Gar answered.

"But I want to pay for them." J said.

"No. One, I offered so I pay. Two, I already told you that I don't want to
see your money crossing the bar." Spiro countered, and ordered a beer each
for the two. "Gar, J's mentor had to go home. Will you help him if he needs
it please?"

"Of course. In fact when we have finished our drinks, I'm going to go with
J to show him which dorm I'm in and then see which dorm he is in so that we
can visit with each other and he will know where to come to look for help
if he needs it;" Gar said. Of course it was news to J that they were doing
that but he was not against it.

Spiro swallowed the double Ouzo that was put on the bar without his having
to order it in one gulp and then picked up the second double and carried it
and the two beers over to where J and Gar were sitting. He sat chatting
with them for about five minutes which was all the time it took it him to
sip down his ouzo and then he left them to themselves. There were other
people in the bar as well and so neither of them felt safe in discussing
what they had learned they had in common to see just how much they did have
in common, so they drunk their beers as quickly as they dared and then set
off to the two dorms. The intention had been to go to Gar's first and then
to J's, but as Gar led them along a path, they came to J's dorm first. J
pointed this out and so they went into it as their conversation had led
them to the conclusion that the two dorms were not quite the same. While
they were looking round J's dorm, Gar noticed the high shower taps and
remarked on them.

"Yeah, I have to turn them on for the blighters as not one of them is tall
enough to reach them. That's why I make them all shower together. Else I
would be forever turning the bloody things on and off." J said.

"So you must have seen all your guys naked then." Gar suggested.

"Yeah, some of them are quite cute when they are as nature intended." J
agreed.

"I've only seen one and he is only 9 so I haven't seen much, cute or
otherwise." Gar said.

"Do you like them at this age?" J asked.

"Kind of, but I guess I prefer my own age." Gar said acknowledging his
sexuality to J.

They left the dorm and headed on to the one where Gar was in charge. After
they had had a look around and commented on the differences between the
dorms, the pair moved into Gar's room. After turning on the bedside light,
Gar closed the door and turned off the main light, softening the harshness
of the bright light that had been in the room. Then he came and sat on the
bed next to J.

Will things develop here? Please let me know what you think and how you
believe it should all turn out. Thanks -- Rick.
