"It Has Always Been You" - Chapter 32 - Another Night To Remember


It was a Saturday morning, Mikael woke up to the sound of his alarm clock
blaring on his bedside table. Its alarming sound was not really that loud,
just enough for Mikael to hear it while lying on his bed. He stirred and
stretches his body and tried to reach his hand to silence the alarm
clock. To his surprised, he was not able to budge from his place. The room
was still in darkness and he felt a set of hands wrapping around his body
and rooting him down to the bed.

thought of having fast food for a romantic dinner. It was rather a typical
gesture for the both of them. It was not as though they have no money to
spare for fancy restaurant, but to them it will be just a waste of money,
unless it was their father who was paying the bill.

While waiting, he was busy playing games of Flappy Bird on his hand phone,
when he heard the melodious voice of Nick, that could soothe his aching
soul, from a distance away. He looked up to see his lover boy running

always, and for him to have Mikael for the rest of the day was just

"I was just wondering if we could just spend time together doing something
at your house, like playing the PS4 games or watching movies on Netflix, as
I was not so keen and in any mood to go back home or going out. I just want
to spend time with you Mikael, alone at your house. Is that alright with
you? " Nick suggested as he conveyed his intentions with his eyebrows rise
up and down and winking at Mikael seductively. There was not a specific
agenda, he just want to spent time alone with Mikael. If there was more to
happen between them, it would be for the best.

"But what about your father and...... ? " Mikael got cut short by Nick. He
knew that Mikael always worried about his parent reaction in knowing that
he was spending time with Mikael, instead of Amy. He thought that his
father would not be much of a problem, as his father did acknowledge Mikael
as his friend and had taken a liking to him. Mikael had been very
respectful towards Nick's father when ever they cross path, whether along

But it was not so on his mother part at all. She had gone ballistic when

was why, he decided to move out of the house when he got that change. His

his facial expression. Nick knew what was worrying Mikael and it got
answered when Mikael did express his concerned.

"What about your mother? " Mikael always felt worried when it came to
Nick's mother's reaction, as he somehow knew that Nick's mother was not
very fond of him befriending Nick after she knew of his sexual
orientation. There were days and times, Nick had been strictly prohibited
from seeing Mikael, as she was forcing Nick to spend more time with Amy

father had said, it happened the very next day they were officially
