"It Has Always been You" - Chapter 34 - Believe it Or Not (Nifty/Gay/High
school)


Believe it or not, Mikael felt like he was walking on air. He never felt so
full of good vibes emotions, temptations, happiness and freedom. Flying
away on a wing and a prayer, who could ever make him feel that way. Believe
it or not, it's Nick.

Between the two of them, they had gone through a lot with each other. In
Mikael thoughts, what Nick and he had now, was definitely love and
affection. He knew, they already have each other heart of this state of the
relationship, and had promise with one another to do everything they
possibly can in their power and abilities, to make sure that they will stay
together forever and be there for one another. It's going to be rough and
tough, but yet, they really want to make it happen. Especially Nick,
knowing that Mikael had him hooked on loving Mikael honestly. Now he
realized that the loved he had for Amy was not as strong as his love for
Mikael.

In the beginning Nick was afraid to admit that he had fallen for Mikael, as
he was not sure if it was the right thing to do. He had tried to avoid all
feelings of love, wanting, lusting and affection for Mikael by being an
ignorant jerk and douche bag to him. The ice breaker was when they had
their first time in making love. And yet, at that time he was still in a
daze, and would not acknowledge that Mikael had been the one for him to
love and not Amy.


As time goes by, he got to come to realize and understand, he needed Mikael
not for friendship, but more as a partner, boyfriend or soul mate. He
tested the air by being around Mikael as much as possible, and had come to
perceive that he really had fallen in love with him. The only problem he
had now, was how he needed to break off with Amy. He had assure Mikael that
he will definitely do something to do that. He had planned and meant to
carry out as required, promised, or expected it. Not knowing to Mikael, he
had tried to avoid being with Amy as much as possible, up to a
minimal. They had by some means been drifting apart, but he knew that Amy
was still hanging on to him, for what ever reason.

Nick and Mikael had been closer than they had anticipated. Their
love-making was amatory, full of passion and full of sexual lust. Both of
them had eventually acquiesced to each other physically and
emotionally. All the anger and conflict, they had with each other before,
seemed to dissipate instantaneously. They were finally one, in the heart
and soul. Mikael was the most elated with the progress of their
relationship as he had longed for it to materialize in the longest time
ever. He felt, to what ever had happened before was a test of time in
making Nick to realize that he was the one for Nick to love. It was true
that he had been forceful and up front in wanting Nick to love him, so much
so that he willingly to strain his friendship with Amy.

Throughout the weekend that they had spent in Mikael house, they felt
enduring through all time and loving it. They had made full used of the
time being alone in the empty house. Being intimacy in their relationship
and the mutual trust and friendship between them who spend a lot of time
being together. They had developed the mutual feelings that they were
getting from each other. Now and then, they could be seen kissing, hugging
and wrapping their arms around each other body tightly in the bedroom,
which had become their love nest ever since they knew the pleasure of
making love with each other. But Nick was indignant knowing that Mikael and
Drake had made love there once before him. He tried not to care, but
somehow it had him felt angry and jealous.

With all the things that was happening in the room, Mikael father knew that
Nick was staying over in the house as he had not even seen Mikael came out
from the room, which was an only sign that Mikael had someone for a
sleepover. Basically, it will be Nick as he seldom sees his son brought
back home other guys beside Nick for a sleepover. It had become a norm for
Nick to always be in the Hayden household so much so that he had the
privileged to enter and exit at any time,

Occasionally, Mikael and Nick did come out of their love cave looking
rather radiant and flushed, with just wearing their boxer and a T-shirts
over their bodies. And that was only to get something to eat, either for
breakfast, lunch or dinner. It was not until the called by Mikael father,
only then they would come bounding out of the bedroom. Even so, after that
they will run back up to the bedroom once they've eaten their meals, clear
all the empty dishes into the sink and be gone throughout the day again.

Throughout the course of time, Mikael was in high school, he never saw his
son ever brings back a school mate to come to the house for a stay
over. Even if Mikael had a project to do for school with his classmate, he
would rather be doing it at his friend's house or if they did it in his
house, they would never have a sleepover. And now, Nick had been the only
sole person from school, that had ever stayed at his house for a
sleepover. Surprisingly, not even Drake ever stayed overnight. For whatever
reasons, Drake always seems in a hurry to go back home. As the truth came
out, about Drake had a boyfriend back in his hometown, Montana, then
everything was clear as a blue sky.

One thing for sure, Mikael father was very encouraging, caring,
understanding, yet concerned about Mikael sexuality. Ever since the day
Mikael came out of the closet to him, he knew then and there that Mikael
needed him there continuously gives as much love as he can to Mikael. No
matter what other people said about his son, Mikael will always be his son,
period. Never on his mind, he will be abandoning Mikael for being "GAY" and
to give him hard times by lecturing him into thinking how it was bad and
forbidden for being "GAY"

He had trusted Mikael with his whole heart and that was the only reason he
did not stop Mikael to date Drake, even though he knew somehow, a hunch
from a concern father, that Drake will hurt his son, Mikael, eventually. It
was not a hunch, but more of truly believe that it will definitely happen
as he had a not so good vibe that came out of Drake. Whatever it is, all he
ever wanted was for Mikael to learn from experience, whether it is good or
bad. He believed that was the only way for Mikael to grow up and become a
well thoughtful man in life. As his feeling towards Nick being with Mikael,
he does have reservation and yet he will let nature take its course.

Nick, in his adjudge of having Mikael in his life, even though they had
that big confrontation, arguments and conflict with each other, in the time
when Mikael needed someone, Nick was there in existence to give him the
comfort that Mikael needed. With time, he began to like Nick self-presence
in the life of his son. He could sense that Nick was not able to be
anticipated or predicted with emotions and yet he was there and ready,
eager, or ready to do something for Mikael as he did really show it
inevitably. He did however have a father and son talk with Mikael and
decided to give Mikael the space for exploration in the world of being
"GAY". As for Nick, he prayed that he will not ever going to hurt his son
Mikael.

Not known or discovered by others, not even Mikael his son, he felt very
lonely going through with his life as a single father who will work hard at
work to provide for his family and in take care of his only son,
Mikael. The stress and long working hours of work, at times, did not give
him any opportunities to mix socially with others outside of his working
hours. The loneliness that typically includes anxious feelings about the
lack of connection or communication and affection with other beings had
gripped him up deeply, especially during the night while he was lying and
sleeping alone on his bed without anyone to cuddle and comfort. And during
this time of loneliness, he had missed his wife dearly.

But all the negativity ceases to be visible immediately after he got to
know someone at the club house. A guy whom had been a really good friend
and companion. They seem always seen being together doing activities like
golfing, jogging, weight lifting in the gym and went out for drinks at the
clubhouse bar or in and around the town area. He never felt lonely anymore
and they will try their best to see one another as often as possible,
without compromising their responsibilities to their families.

Is there more to come from all of this? Well, that will be in other story
to tell.

Mikael had been rather observant towards his father being lately. There
were a lot of changes could be seen in the way of his father attitude and
the aspect of his father character that presented to perceived by him. His
father turned to become more of being cheerful and friendly, garrulous and
always looking fresh and was always dressed in style with the latest trendy
clothing, as though he was trying to impress someone. He wondered if his
father had found someone who he could have love? No doubt that he will be
the first person to congratulate his father and be happy and supporting as
his father did for him.

But, whenever Mikael did ask his father of his recent drastic changes of
manners and lifestyle, he was always given a vague answer or a shrugged off
the shoulder. He becomes fully aware of as a fact; the cheeky grin on his
father's face, indicating that there was something was going on with his
father's life. Mikael did not try to pursue on his father for an answer,
though, and just leave his father alone.

Mikael somehow knew how lonely his father could be, especially at night,
lying on the bed alone without anyone to talk and to hold for comfort. So
with his father change of attitudes, he was beaming with pride and was
hoping that his father finding someone to love and be loved.

It will be a big secret for now and it will be a big surprised when it's
revealed.
