"It Has Always Ben You" - Chapter 26 - Damn You

"DAMN!....DAMN YOU NICK...HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU DO THIS TO ME?" Mikael was
furiously shouting at Nick.

For the last three days, Nick had been trying to distancing himself from
Mikael. It's not what he wanted to do, but Amy had been bitchy about the
weekends he had spent with Mikael. Amy had told him to redeem himself for
the mistake he did. And he thought by giving Amy his full attention and
blanking Mikael will do the work. Nobody really knows how hurtful it was
ignoring Mikael.

He was actually not totally muting himself, but more of not talking unless
he was talking to with Mikael. He can see that Mikael did not like it and
he himself doesn't like it at all. In his mind, he knew how much he had
fancy Mikael lately and the feelings had deeply grown inside him. What
about Amy, he was still very much into her. She's not perfect, she had
flaws and yet she had been good to him. Yes... she can be a bit possessive
and clingy, that Nick did not like at all, but for other things she pretty
alright. Hmmmmmmm.... Just OK.

Nick missed being close with Mikael and for the last three days had been
hard for him. Not his intention at all. He misses the talk, the touch, the
hugs, the smile, the scent, the occasional banters they had and especially
the sex with Mikael were somehow being seemed to be more passionate
compared when he did it with Amy. Is that how a boy and boy sex should
feel? And he is loving it.

He misses Mikael so much, especially when he was sitting near Mikael in
classes they had together. But not talking to Mikael had taken a toll on
him. Mikael now seemed to reciprocate what he did to Mikael. He was totally
ignored, not even a shy glance could be seen from Mikael, and every time
they passed by each other, Mikael would just turn his head away from
him. How could Mikael do this to him, how could he do that to Mikael.  Amy
had somehow forgiven him, after he gave her a bullshit explanation about
the weekend. Of course, he did not tell her the exact truth, but she
believed him. For now, things had quietened down and everything was good
between Amy and him.

At the end of school, Nick was rushing out to the lockers just so he could
catch up with Mikael to talk. Upon reaching the locker area, he did not see
Mikael and so he waited just in case Mikael was caught up with something
and was late to the locker. Fifteen minutes had passed, not even a shadow
of Mikael was seen. Nick felt so frustrated as he really needed to talk to
Mikael so badly. He even ditched Amy for this purpose.

He tried his next option by calling Mikael cell phone, but all of his calls
were transferred to the voice mail. He tried again and again, yet it still
goes to the voice mail.

In the last resort, he made the drastic decision to go to Mikael house,
whether Mikael like it or not. Nick had to see Mikael badly as he could not
ever hold this feeling of emptiness in his heart without Mikael with him
any longer. He slowly makes his way out of the school compound and walked
silently straight, but with a quick step towards Mikael house. He had known
it by hard as he had been there lots of time.

Upon reaching Mikael house, driveway, Nick stopped for a breather and
scanned the front of Mikael house. Mikael father's car was still in the
driveway, which means he was in the house somewhere, but his main concerned
was whether Mikael was in the house. Did he walk straight back home or he
had gone out somewhere alone. Never on his mind to think that maybe Mikael
had gone out with other friends.

He slowly walked the steps to the front door. He was taken aback when he
was about to knock on the door, it flung open and stood in front of him the
boy whom he misses so much and whom he had wronged.

"What the fuck are you doing here Nick?" Mikael retorted at Nick. Giving
the boy the cold shoulder and with a cold attitude.  "No Mikael.... I am
not trying to do anything... I'm sorry.? Nick pleaded with Mikael. He was
looking directly at the Mikael face in the hope that Mikael will give him
the chance to explain. "I need to talk to you and please give me a chance
to explain to you how sorry I am, Mikael" Nick pleads guilty to Mikael.

"What? Do you think after three days of you blanking me, ignoring me,
distancing yourself from me and being a fucking douche bag, you can just
simply come to my house and expect me to just forgive you! " Mikael was
truly fuming. He did not want to believe all the things Nick was saying.

"I am really sorry Mikael. I know I did lots of wrong with you. But
I....... I, " Nick tried to explain, but he was stopped by Mikael abruptly.

"Listen Nick.... For the last three days you had me wondering, what had I
done wrong to you, what made you to ignore me as though I did not exist at
all! I have tried, really tried Nick, to understand you and give you time
to do what you had to do. " By now Mikael was crying while he stared hard
at Nick, who was now looking down at the floor. By then Mikael realized
that they were standing in front of the door.

"Go home Nick... Just leave me alone and go back to your girlfriend Amy as
what you have wanted. I will try to just forget about you and what we have
done together." Mikael took a deep breath and continued, "it is going to
hurt me more than you do, Nick. " Mikael was turning away and tried to
close the door, but Nick quickly prevent it by blocking with his body.

"No! No Mikael. I do not want you to forget about me, about us, about what
we have done. What we have might seem cliche but I want you and only you. I
love you Mikael" Nick spoke confidently.

"What? You love me? Are you sure Nick? You really did not say it wrongly,
right?" Mikael hysterically laughed at Nick.

"Let me amused you... For the last three days, we did not talk anymore, we
did not talk anymore like we used to do Nick. You do not love me, what was
all of it for Nick. WE DID NOT TALK ANYMORE LIKE WE USED TO DO! " Mikael
voice risen a little notched higher. "And what is worse, Nick... We make
love. No no no no. We fuck. Yeah, we have fuck for two days Nick. " Mikael
smirked at Nick "Is this what you called love Nick?"

Nick was flabbergasted, he understands what Mikael was telling him. He does
love Mikael, he really does. But how about Amy? Mikael had a reason to
break off with Drake but what reason did he have to break up with Amy.

"What does it take for you to see, Mikael. To make you understand that I
will always believe, that you and I can make it through and I will never
get over you Mikael. Even if my love for you seems to fade away, but please
listen to me Mikael. " Nick did not even let Mikael to respond when he
continued, "I do not want to feel the way that I do Mikael. I just want to
be right here with you. And I definitely did not want to see, see us
apart." Nick was getting teary with all what he had said to Mikael. Streams
of teardrops flowed gently on Nick cheeks, "I just want to say it straight
from my heart Mikael. That I miss you so much. Forgive me for what I have
done." With that Nick pulled Mikael closer to him, holding Mikael body
tightly by the waist and kissed Mikael as passionately as possible.

Mikael was shocked. But what Nick was doing to him, had somehow made him
weaker in the knees. He grabbed Nick by his neck and pulled Nick for a
deeper kissed.

They parted and since then Mikael had seen the love in Nick eyes. Mikael
pilled Nick inside his house and up to his bedroom. They did not make
love. They just talked. Each of them expressed their feelings towards each
other and Mikael had warned Nick he would not be so forgiving next
time. They wrapped up they talked and kissed until it was time for Nick to
go home.

All the timed without them knowing, Mikael father was listening to their
banter quietly from the kitchen. Was he surprised, not really as he already
knew that Mikael was gay when Mikael was dating Drake. But Nick, he had
known Nick for some time and he also knew that Nick had a girlfriend. So
what's going on between Nick and his son Mikael?

Did he have to interfere as for whatever reasons he would not want to see
Mikael gets hurt. That was how the protective Mikael father was. He will do
anything for his only child.

He knew as a father, he has every right to say a thing or two, but he wants
Mikael to be independent and make decisions, not bothered whether it's
going to be right or wrong.

He will always be there for Mikael. No doubt about it.
