It Has Always Been You - Love And Jealousy

After the short get together with Drake at the coffee club, Mikael was
smiled widely knowing who Drake really was. Drake was a brazen, strong
will, out spoken and gay. He had a rugged look to him with tattoos on both
of his arms. His hair was cut short and spiky giving him a grunge look with
a stunning blue eyes.

He body is a bit muscular just like an athlete, just proportionated enough
to insinuate his perfect body.

Mikael could not stop thinking of the possibility of courting Drake. But
one thing for sure he would not be in a hurry to force a relationship with
Drake. Instead he decided to get to know more of the wonderful man.

The Club

Mikael was sitting at a table having a few drinks with Drake before his gig
start in one hour. The club was not really crowded yet as it was still
early. He heard people talking at the entrance, he looked up and smile when
he saw Amy, Sandra and Nick. Trying to show appreciation for them coming to
his gig for support, he just about to wave to them when he saw behind Nick
was Jason.

Nick purposely brought Jason along just to supposedly trying to look manly
by being with a straight friend. Amy and Sandra was totally hating it.

They saw Mikael and went straight to him while Nick and Jason went to the
bar and order beers for themselves. They were casually talking when they
saw Mikael and the girls at a table with some bloke.

"How come he was always surrounded by girls." sarcastically Jason asked
Nick while pointing to Mikael.

"I don't know...maybe...just maybe he's just in touch with his feminine
side." Nick reply with rolling eyes.

Jason chuckled but Nick felt more annoyed not for Mikael being gay but who
was the guy that was sitting beside him. He felt so annoyed and can sense a
bit of jealousy in him. Why you might asked....maybe..just maybe he do has
feelings for Mikael.

"He make me sick.." Jason sounded disgusted snapping Nick from his
thought. Nick heard his comment

"What..is it just because he's gay?" Nick was displeased and slightly
perturbed.

"What you mean just? You really OK with all of this Nick? " Jason reply
frowning with a questionable face.

"Yeah...yes..actually I am." Nick replied while looking at Mikael
direction.

"So what are you trying to say Nick... you're one of them? Cause you
sometimes do act like one of them" Jason smirking at Nick.

"Well it is better than being a chauvinist bully right. Who couldn't stop
messing with people rather then looking at his own self." Nick was really
angry at the moment. He could not help it. Hearing someone talking about
Mikael that way.

"You what?" Jason sounded pissed.

"I would rather be his mate than being your mate anytime of the day...you
dickhead." Nick stared at Jason directly at his eyes.

"It was find by me..." Jason slammed his beer bottle at the counter and
hurried out the club.

Nick looking dejected and lonely at the moment. His hearts seems to break
apart when he was looking at Mikael and the guy being happy while talking
with the girls.

He saw the opportunity to be with Mikael alone when the other three left
him for the loo to relieve themselves. He slowly walked toward Mikael and
sit beside him. Mikael jumped a bit but relaxed back when he saw it was
Nick.

"How are you doing?" Nick spoke with a gentle voice.

"I am doing alright." Mikael reply softly just enough for Nick to hear him.

"Are you seeing someone?" Nick was surprised for him to even asked this
question.

"Briefly." Mikael replied short and simple.

"Is he the one....what happen?" Nick seems eager to know.

"Nick....I know you are not cool about me being gay OK...so you might as
well stop." Mikael sighed deeply staring at the beer mug on the table.

"I am..I am...I'm really alright with it." Nick tried to convince Mikael.

"So is that why you try to knock seven shade out of me at the gym the other
day?" Mikael raised his voice a bit and sounded angry.

"You gave what you got in the game there." Nick was trying to defend
himself. .

"What did you expect me to do...just to lie down and take it." Mikael was
annoyed too.

"Wait...I try to apologies here....you weren't interested." Nick lowered
his voice sounding a bit sad.

"Cause my head was done in." Mikael tried to reason.

"And my head wasn't......" Nick was looking down at his hand fidgeting with
each other.

"I am not here to argue...I want us to be mates again like always.....I
miss you." Nick quickly covered his mouth with both his hands and was
blushing badly. Lucky enough the lighting in the club was not that bright
and in a shade of red, blue and else.

Mikael looked to Nick and just smiled. Before he could respond, the others
arrived at the table. Mikael introduced Drake to Nick. Nick took Drake hand
for a handshake but gripped a little harder while staring at Drake.

Nick only let go when he felt Mikael hand on his shoulder. He did not meant
to do that but he just could not help this hurting feelings inside of
him. He did not know why his heart felt so heavy and tight. Was he really
jealous that Mikael had someone else to be interested with.

Before anyone can read what was on his mind, he decided to grab Amy by her
waist and kiss her on her cheeks. Amy was surprised with Nick action but
instead of questioning it, she held Nick cheeks with both of her hands and
pulled Nick nearer for a deeper kiss. Everyone was OK with it except Mikael
whose giving Nick the look of disgust. Drake sense the awkward moment so he
leaned nearer to Mikael and whisper....

"Do you need a kiss too?" looking at Mikael tenderly. Mikael had an
uncontrolled blushed. Amazingly Drake could see it under all the
lighting. "You look cute when you blush like that." still whispering softly
into Mikael ears.

Mikael turned to Drake and peck him on his cheek and left to the DJ console
to start his gig.

All the time throughout the night he was glancing at Drake every now and
then. And he did saw Drake looking at him staring with a smile. But he also
can see Nick giving Drake the eyes.

He was really confused at the moment with the two guy behaviour and his
towards Drake. Is he beginning to fall for Drake and still had feeling for
Nick? Damn ....  how hard can it be for being a gay guy?

Well for Nick he knows that Nick love Amy but at the same time
......... hmmmm!

What can possibly happen right from here .... where will it lead too?
