Jase and I - A New Life Together
Chapter Three

I don't remember going to my room, but when I awoke the next morning
I was in bed, and Jase was asleep beside me. I lay there and watched him
as he slept. It was a new day to spend with my boyfriend. I was in love
with him. I had finally gotten the man of my dreams and I was not going
to lose him. I decided to let him sleep, and carefully got out of bed. I
headed downstairs and found a note from Mom.

     Sky,

I will be working later than usual today. Here is some
money for you. Take Jason, and go have some fun. Tell him
he can stay again tonight if he wants to. I will call you
     later.

                 Love,
                       Mom.

Mom had left me $150.00 to use. I went and made some coffee and was
about to go turn on the TV when Jase came down.

    "Hey, babe," I said, smiling.
    "Hey," he replied.

He came over and gave me a kiss. I showed him the money and the
letter.

    "Cool," he said.
"Yeah, so what are we going to do today?" I asked.
"First, I need to go and talk to my folks."
    "Talk to them about what?"
    "About us, about me."
"Are you sure you want to do that?"
"Yes, I thought about it last night before I took you to bed."
"You want me to come along, just in case?"
"I was going to ask if you would."

We had a quick coffee and then headed for his place. Jase was getting
a bit nervous, and had even decided not to go through with telling his
folks, but he looked at me and decided he had to. I promised to support
him, no matter what.
We arrived at his house a short time later. It was a small house. It
really looked awesome. I liked it better than my house. Not that I am
complaining, I love the house I live in, but it's way too big. I want
something small, like Jase's house. Well, I guess I can dream, can't I?
Jase was looking really uncomfortable. I really felt for him. I
wanted so bad to hold him, but I knew it would not be a good idea. So I
just gave his hand a quick squeeze. We headed into the kitchen, and found
his parents sitting at the table.

    "Hey, I'm home," he said.
"Hey, honey, who's your friend?" his mam asked, looking at me.
    "This is Sky."
"Hello, Sky," his mom and dad said.
"Jason, we have some family stuff to discuss," his dad said.
    "What stuff?" Jase asked.
"Nothing bad, just family stuff," his dad said, and looked at me.

I got the point, and was going to leave and sit in the living room
until they were done, but Jase put his hand on me.

"Sky is part of my family now," he said.
"Why do you say that?" his dad asked.
    "Because he is my boyfriend."

I could see Jase tense up, waiting for a barrage of anger from his
parents, and so did I. None ever came. They looked at me and motioned for
Jase and me to sit down.

"We'll talk about that later," his dad said, smiling.
    "Yes, sir," Jase replied.
"First we have some family matters to discuss."

So Jase and I sat at the table. His dad looked at Jase and got a very
serious look on his face.

"Son, we are moving," he said.
    "Moving where?" Jase asked.
    "Ontario."
"That's what we wanted to talk about," his mom said.

Jase and I both looked disheartened. I just got Jase and now I was
going to lose him. I knew he felt the same way.

"Why, how?" he asked, sounding on the verge of tears.
"My Uncle Jakab passed away," his dad said.
    "Uncle Jakab?"
    "Yes, you never met him."
    "Oh."
    "He left me his estate."
    "Estate?"
"Yes, and quite a large estate too."
"When did you find out about it?" he asked.
    "A couple months ago."
"How come you didn't tell me sooner?"
    "You were never home."
"We tried to tell you several times, in fact," his mom added.

Jase's dad explained that his Uncle was very wealthy. The will reading
was done, and it stated that the estate would go to his eldest living
nephew, or in the event of no nephews, it would go to the eldest living
niece. As Jase's dad was the eldest and only nephew, the estate was his.
Now the decision was made to move to the acreage that he now owned.

"I don't want to move!!" Jase screamed.
"Jase, don't yell!" his mom said.
"I don't want to leave Sky."
"We figured you wouldn't want to," his dad said.
"I'll work so I don't have to," Jase said.
"Will you let me explain, son?"
    "Okay."

Jase's parents explained that they figured he wouldn't want to move.
They had tried to figure out a way so he could move and bring Sky with
them, but they knew Sky would want to be near his mom. Sky nodded in
agreement. They then decided that Jase could stay in Edmonton. He would
receive money into his account every month, to do with as he pleased. All
his bills would be paid, including the rent for wherever he decided to
live.

"The only thing now is for you to decide where you want to live,"
his dad said.
"I'd like to stay here," Jase replied.
    "Why here?" his mom asked.
"I like it, and it is close to Sky."
"You love him that much, do you?" hIs dad asked, smiling.

Before Jase could say anything, his mom went on. I was confused.

"We have known for sometime that you were gay," she said.
"How'd you find out?" Jase asked.
"When I was cleaning your room."
"You found my porn mags? Jase asked, a look of panic on his face.
"No, you left your journal open, and I read about how much you
wanted to get together with Sky."
"Oh, man, I forgot about my journal."
"Don't worry, I only saw that part."
"So are you two in love?" his dad asked.
"Yeah, we are," we both replied.
"Well, we still love you," his mom said.

Jase went and hugged his parents.

"Not to put a damper on things," his dad said.
    "Oh, sorry, Dad," Jase replied.
"We still need to figure out where you want to live."
"Why not here? I could fix it up."
"Are you sure about this?" his mom asked.
    "Yes," he replied.
"We figured as much," his dad said.

Jase's dad handed him an envelope. Inside were the ownership papers
to the house, plus a confirmation from a contractor to fix up the house.
Jase would have control over what would be done. The work was scheduled
to start in two weeks. Jase would be staying at Sky's while the work was
being done.

"We have been talking to your mom for a few weeks," said Jase's
dad.
"Talking to my mom?" I asked.
"Yes, and she is happy to have Jase there."
"Wow, that is cool," Jase said.
"She will also help you get the house set up," Jase's mom said.
    "Help me?" Jase asked.
"She's going to go help you get things you need."
"You need this to get certain things."

Jase's mom handed him an envelope. Inside were both a VISA and a
MasterCard. Jase was thrilled. Then his dad handed him a set of keys.
Jase looked at him, puzzled.

"Let's got out to the garage," his dad said.

We all headed to the garage. Sitting there was a Blue 1999 GMC Jimmy
4x4, and next to it was another one. This one was red. Jase went to the
blue one, his favorite color. The keys worked. Jase was ecstatic. I felt
bad, I didn't have wheels, and now he did. Then his mom handed me an
envelope. Inside was a letter from Mom.

    Sky,

These keys are for the red one. I know you have wanted a truck
for a long time. I was going to wait until your birthday, but after
talking to Jase's parents, and with their help, I got the truck early.
Plus, your father helped get it as well. Enjoy your truck, and safe
    driving.

               Mom.

I jumped for joy and headed over to my new truck. Jase couldn't
believe it, we had matching trucks. To boot, they were fully loaded, too.
I got in, and found another envelope. This one was from Jase's parents.
Inside was a cashier's cheque and a note.

    Sky,

Although we don't know you that well, please accept this gift
from us. It's our way of thanking you for making our son so happy.
Since you came along, he seems to be in better spirits. Thank you
for bringing our son out of his depression.

                        Ty and Elli

I looked at the cheque. My mouth dropped. It was for $500,000. I got
out of the truck. Jase and his mom and dad stood there smiling at me. Then
the garage door opened and Mom walked in. I ran over and gave her a huge
hug. Then I showed her the cheque. SHe looked at me and smiled.

"I know, honey, they told me they were going to," she said, looking
at Jase's parents.
    "I can't take it," I said.
"Yes, you can, we want you to have it," Jase's dad said.

I couldn't argue. It was a lost cause. So I put the cheque in my
pocket. Jase came and stood next to me, holding my hand.

"We have one more thing to give you two," Mom said.

More, I couldn't believe it. Mom came and handed us two envelopes, one
for me and one for Jase. We opened them up. Inside we found air tickets to
go to Disney World, just the two of us. PLus an itinerary of our stay, all
expenses paid. I looked at Mom.

"Mom, how can you afford this?" I asked her.
"Because I have the money to do so," she replied.
    "How?"
    "I have always had money."
    "I am confused."

Mom explained how my grandparents had been well off and how they set up
trust funds for their children. SHe didn't go into great detail, because I
think she knew that Jase and I were itching to go out in our new trucks. I
was also happy for Jase, because now he could buy all the things he wanted,
and he didn't have to move away from me. God, I was so happy.

We got in our trucks and headed for WEM. I ran to the bank and
deposited the cheque, and then we went shopping.

On our rounds of the store we ran into one of Jase's friends. I think
his name was Kaaspar. Jase shocked me when he introduced me as his
boyfriend. Kaaspar was cool with it, having realized some time ago that
Jase was gay. Then told us he was gay as well.

We all decided to hook up in a couple of hours and go chill at
Kaaspar's apartment.

The End.

--------

Sorry for those of you who were hoping sex was in the picture.
This is just filler. It may not be the best, but I like having all
my characters having money, so I wrote this. Plus I have had comments
regarding devloping the characters. I may even in some future chapters
give some history into Jase and Sky. Anyway, I promise that chapter 4
will have lots of sex, for all you sex hounds (just kidding) out
there. Chapter 4 will be out as soon as I can do it.

Peace

Hugs and Kisses to all,

Steve.
