Josh and Brad Chapter 14
It was quiet in the car as Josh drove them home. Josh was
thinking about how things had happened between him and Brad. They had only been
together as a couple for a short time, yet they had been through so much. He
was amazed at how Brad never wavered from his love for Josh. He stuck by him
through everything. He was very special and Josh would do anything to make sure
that Brad never regretted being with Josh.
Brad, for his part, was thinking of how he was going to help
Steve. He wanted to talk to Josh, Michael and the other guys to see what it was
they could do to help the other boy. He really did believe that Steve deserved
another chance. Maybe with some help from a therapist, Steve could be like he
was. It was obvious the guy regretted what he had done. Everyone deserves a
second chance.
The boys didn't say anything until Josh was pulling in the
driveway. The trip was short, but still the quiet was unusual for them.
"You OK baby?" Josh asked.
"Huh? Oh ya, sorry I was thinking how we could help Steve. I
guess I just zoned out there for a bit.
"That's OK baby, I know how much you want to help him. I think
helping him would, in some way help me too."
"I was kinda hoping the same thing. Besides, I think he has

The boys walked into the house and went upstairs to Josh's room.
