Chapter 1: Moving on Up
"Okay, I know what you are thinking. `Same Story, different characters.'
Well for the most part I would have to say that you are WRONG! Sure many
stories you read generally have a common denominator, boy meets boy, boy
falls in love with boy, boys find out each feel the same way and they live
happily ever after. Well some of that may be true for this story as well but
this ISN'T just `another' story. This IS my life. I am Justin. I am a teen.
I am STRAIGHT, or so I thought until a few weeks ago, now I am not so sure.
I can not believe how my life has changed but you don't want to hear about
that do you? You do? Wow! Okay I guess I can
trust you. You seem like you have an honest looking face so here it goes but
you can't tell anyone."
Moving does not bother me to much. My dad worked for a large manufacturing
company and we have moved quite a bit my whole life. He goes to other towns
and cities to start up new plants. We stay, on the average, two years each
place we go. This is going to be our last move, or so I am told. Dad is
tired of moving and wants to settle down. He has taken a job as a City
Manager somewhere on the west coast of California. This will be the first
time that I have lived on a beach somewhere. Mom is thrilled. She loves the
ocean. I think she had a hand in talking dad into taking this job and moving
once more.
"Justin, wake up, we are here." Mom shouted from the front seat of the van.
This was by far the nicest house we had lived in yet. It was two stories and
had a full basement. It even had a guest apartment over the three vehicle
attached garage. We all got out of the car and went inside. The movers had
yet to show up. Mom and Dad obviously took the master bedroom on the first
floor of the house. It had its own hot tub in the bathroom and a very nice
view of the ocean. They told me I could pick out any room I wanted for my
own. Dad had been out here and already seen the house. This was the first
time mom and I had seen it so we decided to go looking around. There were
several possibilities for my own room but I wanted to see the whole house
before I made up my mind. I really wanted to see what appeared to be an
apartment over the garage. I opened a door in the hallway that I thought
would lead to a closet but I was surprised to see the entrance to the
basement. Mom and I both went down there and fell in love with it. There was
a huge laundry room which mom immediately fell in love with and a lot of
open space that I could put to good use. I just was not sure how. We came
back up stairs and then went to the garage. This was the moment I had been
waiting for. I opened a door inside the garage and found a set of steps on
the other side leading up to the second floor. I went up and was amazed to
find furniture already up there.
"I see you have found your dad's new office. He bought the furniture for it
when he came out here and looked at the house." Shit! I was hoping that
would be my own little home. I should have known better. When I turned
around Mom must have seen the look of disappointment on my face. "What is
the matter? Did you want this for your new room?" I did not want to lie to
her but I did not want to make a big deal out of it either.
"That's okay. There are plenty of rooms in this house. I will find me one."
She looked at me with that look of love that only a mother can give you but
said nothing. As I was coming outside from the garage the moving trucks
pulled into the driveway. Dad came out and greeted the guys and then came
over to me.
"So Justin, how do you like the new place?" he asked me
"It's real nice Dad. I think it is the best one you have picked yet." I
said. "You really will have a cool office."
"It is nice isn't it? So have you picked out a room yet?" he asked but
before I had a chance to answer him mom told me I should go and check out
the neighborhood while everything is being moved in. That sounded like a
great idea to me so I unhooked my bicycle from the back of the van and took
off down the road. I was a half a block away when I heard mom yell for me to
be careful. Here I am almost fifteen and she still hollers at me to be
careful. Only a mom. I had not been riding long when I came to a major
intersection. There was only two ways to go either straight or left. I chose
left since that took me to the beach. It was a nice afternoon to go scouting
and I would not start school until the next year since there was only three
to four weeks left in the school year. I wasn't on the beach anytime until I
was stopped by a patrol car.
"Son, shouldn't you be in school?" The cop asked. This was the biggest guy
I had ever seen in my life not to mention the darkest. He was a canine
handler and his dog was barking its head off at me from the back seat. The
officer got out of the car and asked me to get off my bike which I did
immediately. "You have any ID on you son?" All I could do was shake my head
no. I knew I had done nothing wrong but this guy was still scaring me. "Why
aren't you in school?"
"I--I-- I just moved into the neighborhood today." I said with my voice
shaking. He looked me up and down and asked where I lived. That was when I
realized I had no clue what my address was. I looked around out of nothing
else but pure horror and that is when I could see the top of my house. "I
live there. That is where I live" I said pointing to dad's new office over
the garage. The cop did not say much but asked that I have a seat in the
front of the car. He opened the trunk and put my bike in it. He then sat
back down in the driver's seat.
"It's not that I don't believe you but we are very strict around here on
truancy. I just need to make sure that you are telling me the truth and if
you do live over there we are going to be neighbors because I live across
the street from that house." It was no time until we were pulling up in
front of my new residence. Mom and Dad both were standing in the front lawn.
I am not sure what was going through their mind. I had never been in trouble
before in my life and now here I was coming home in a police car no more
than ten minutes since I left. The officer got out and walked around to my
side of the car and opened my door. We walked over and he shook hands with
my parents and introduced himself. "Hello, my name is Officer Wilcox. Your
son is not in any trouble but we do have a strict truancy policy here and I
had to make sure he was telling me the truth and not skipping school." Mom
and Dad both smiled and a look of relief came across their faces.
"Hi my name is Mike Mitchell and this is my wife Teresa and you have
already met Justin." They talked for a while and when dad told him he was to
be sworn in as the new city manager he apologized four more times for
picking me up but dad assured him he was okay with it and not to worry
because he was just doing his job. Officer Wilcox offered to drive me back
to where we first met but I told him I could use the extra exercise and
enjoyed riding as much as I could on such a beautiful spring day. A few
minutes later I was on my way to the beach only to be hit by a car and land
on its hood. I was not hurt to bad but I think the old lady was pretty shook
up. I could hear a siren off in a distance and hoped no one had called the
medics. I got up and checked on the woman and she said she was okay. The
siren got louder and louder and finally stopped. I turned only to see
Officer Wilcox get out of his cruiser and shake his head.
"Is everyone okay?" he asked. I went to wave at him with my right arm but
that is when I realized that it hurt like hell. I let out a small groan.
"Justin I am going to have to ask you to have a seat on the curb and not
move your neck. I have an ambulance on the way. I also have another unit in
route to your house to let your parents know that you have been injured."
Moments later I found myself on a backboard with a collar on my neck. The
guy also put a splint on my arm. I was not in much pain but they said they
wanted to make sure I had not injured my spine. A few minutes later I was
being put in the back of an ambulance by two other medics that had arrived.
Officer Wilcox told me that my parents were going to meet me at the
hospital. Once I was in the back of the ambulance that is when it hit me
that the guy who had first arrived on the scene and put the splint on my arm
looked to be not much older than myself. He also was not wearing a shirt. I
don't guess I realized how much I was staring at him until he went out of
the range of my eyes. I started to move my head but realized I couldn't. It
was that damn collar he had put on me. When he came back over by me he gave
me a smile and then told me that the paramedic was going to start an IV to
get more fluids into my body. I could not concentrate on anything else but
him. I would find out later that this was the first time that I would
realize that I may be different than the other guys. He told me his name was
TJ and that he was a first responder on the beach. He was also a junior life
guard and only sixteen years old. I told him how I had just moved there that
day and he thought it was pretty funny.
"Well we are at the hospital. I hope your arm gets better but it looks like
it is going to be sore for a while. If you would like for someone to show
you around town here is my pager number. Just leave a voice mail and I'll
get back to you as soon as I can." He put the number in my left hand and
then helped the other medic get me out of the ambulance. Mom and dad were
there to meet me. After some tests the doctors said I was okay except for a
sprained right elbow and also told me that my whole body would be very sore
tomorrow. They gave me a prescription and sent me on my way. A few minutes
later we were back home. Lying in the driveway was my now totaled bike. One
of the moving vans had left and the guys from the other were not in site.
Chapter 2: New City, New Friend
Once inside the house we found the movers coming out of the basement. Dad
handed both guys a tip and I sat down. There was a knock at the door and mom
answered it. It was the cable guy. He came in and dad showed him all the
rooms that would be getting cable. He then asked my dad if we would be
interested in high-speed internet access. All I had to do was smile and dad
knew the answer to the question. He told the man yes and showed him where
the computers were as well. They went to the garage and I heard the door to
the office close. I started to get up to go find my new room but mom made me
sit down and rest for a little while longer. Pretty soon dad and the cable
guy came back into the room and turned on the television. Minutes later we
had almost two hundred channels to choose from.
"Man you are one lucky kid to have a room over the garage like that. I
would loved to of had a setup like that when I was your age." Dad tried to
shut the guy up but it was too late. I could see the look on my parents face
and then it all made sense. Dad had the movers move my stuff into the garage
apartment and his stuff to the basement. That is why he gave them such a big
tip. I smiled great big and hugged Mom and Dad the best I could with one arm
in a sling. Then I took off to my new room. I looked out the back window and
had a perfect view of the beach. I could even see where I had been hit by
the car. I opened the glass door that was next to the full size window and
walked out onto my deck. It connected to a door that was in the upstairs
hallway of the main part of the house. This was going to be a great place to
live. I heard my bedroom door open and turned around to see both my parents
walking through my room. They came out onto the deck with me and dad had
something behind his back. He handed me a long wrapped up box. I opened it
and it was a new telescope.
"I thought you would like to have this. We got it back home and decided to
give it to you once you got here. I can help you put it together or you can
put it together when your arm heals. It is your choice." Dad said. I gave
them both a hug and then he whispered something into my ear. "Now don't be
looking at to many girls on the beach with that." Mom must have heard what
he said because she jabbed him in the ribs. I told him I would like for the
two of us to put it together but I would really like to take a nap. The
medicine I had taken for the pain was making me drowsy. They said that was
fine and I lay down. When I awoke the sun was beginning to set. It was the
most beautiful thing I had seen in my life. I hollered for my parents and
they came up stairs. I pointed to the beach and I think they were in as much
aw as I was. We stood there on the deck for at least a half hour. Mom asked
if I would mind having pizza for supper and of course I did not mind. She
and dad left my room and I decided to take a quick shower. As I was emptying
out my pockets I found the folded up piece of paper TJ gave me in back of
the squad. I picked up the phone and was happy to hear a dial tone. I left a
message and a few minutes later the phone rang and I answered it.
"This is TJ did someone there page me?" he had such a nice voice. I paused
for a second then I answered him.
"Yeah, this is Justin Mitchell. You told me to call you if I would like for
someone to show me around the town. I am the guy who was hit by the car
today."
"Justin! I am glad you called. I was just getting off duty. I would love to
show you around but you should really get your rest tonight but I'll tell
you what. If you are bored and would like some company I could come over
there." TJ replied
"I'd love that. You can eat supper with us. We are having pizza. I will let
my parents know that you are coming over." He told me that sounded great and
hung up. I told mom that there was going to be one more for supper and she
was fine with that. I then went back to my room and got undressed. I turned
on my CD player and hit play. I had no idea what CD was in there but soon I
heard a familiar song begin to play. I began singing along with it and
before the song was over I was back out of the shower. I dried off my body
and wrapped the towel around my head. I was butt naked from the neck down. I
had only walked a couple of steps when I heard someone clear their throat. I
looked up and there was TJ standing in my room looking me up one side and
down the other with a goofy grin on his face.
"Sorry dude, I didn't mean to stare I just was not expecting you to come
out naked. Your dad told me it was okay if I came on up and waited for you."
TJ said as he turned around to give me some privacy not that it really
mattered since he had already seen everything I had between my legs. I put
on some underwear and told him he could turn around. He face must have been
as red from embarrassment as I thought it was. "Don't be embarrassed by me
seeing you nude. I see people like that every day on the ambulance. You have
nothing to be ashamed of." He said it in a very sincere tone but I was still
embarrassed. His pager went off and I was saved by the bell so to speak. "Do
you care if I use your phone? It is a local call" I told him I did not care.
He was not on the phone long.
"Is everything alright I asked." He forced a smile and asked if he could
use my bathroom. I told him sure and he went in. In the mean time dad came
up and said the pizza was here. I told him we would be down in a bit. A few
minutes later TJ came out of the bathroom. His eyes were red like he had
been crying.
"Damn allergies." He said and gave me a smile. I told him the pizza was
here and we both went downstairs to eat. We ate in the dining room and we
all got to know TJ a little better. My parents really liked him. We found
out he was the oldest of three kids all of which were boys. His mom was half
Italian which explained why he was able to get such a nice tan not that I
had really noticed at the time (yeah right). After dinner was over I showed
him the rest of the house and we went out back and sat on the patio. We
talked for a while and he told me about how he became a first responder and
a junior life guard. I told him about how we had been moving from state to
state my whole life and I really did not call anywhere home. "I hope you
decide to call this home. I think you are a pretty cool guy. I think we will
get along just fine." Before we knew it the time was ten thirty and although
I usually stay up a lot later I was starting to get tired again. TJ must
have noticed this and said he should be leaving because he had to be at
school early in the morning but he was off from work and said he would take
me to the mall if I felt like going the next day. I walked him to his jeep
and he put an arm around my shoulder and thanked me for such a nice night.
Then he whispered something in my ear that took me by surprise. "Remember
what I said. You have NOTHING to be ashamed of." He cracked up at the look
on my face and told me to be good. Then he left. I tried watching a little
TV with my parents but I was too tired. Mom talked me into going to bed so I
kissed them both good night.
Once I was up in my room I decided to start things off right in my new
room I turned out the lights and the room lit up from the full moon that was
now reflecting in the water. It was a beautiful night for a quick jack off
session. I stripped but when I did I could not help but to laugh what had
happened only a few hours earlier when I had walked out of the bathroom
naked. I also could not get the words of TJ out of my mind. "You have
NOTHING to be ashamed of." I glanced down and I had to agree with him. I did
have a pretty nice body. I lay down on my bed and began to ever so slowly
enjoy the feel of skin on skin. Everything was the same as before except for
one thing. I could not get TJ out of my mind. I had never really thought
about a whole lot while I jerked off but I kept seeing his shirtless chest
with just a small amount of sweat collecting on it. I also could not get his
smell out of my mind. He smelled of nice cologne with just a hint of his
boyish odor. I felt that it was somehow both dirty and erotic the way I was
feeling. I had never considered my self as even remotely gay. I had gone out
with a couple of girls over the years but knew that it would not last so I
never got too attached to anyone male or female. At just about the time I
was going to shoot my load I heard the faint sound of footsteps coming up to
my door. I quickly covered up and pretended to be asleep. I opened one eye
just enough to see my parents standing in the door way. As good of parents
as they are they sure have rotten timing. They stood there for a few minutes
and then shut the door. I had gone totally limp in the mean time and decided
to just go to sleep. It was not very easy to jack off with my left arm
anyhow.
Morning came and went and I got out of bed and walked to my bathroom around
one in the afternoon. On my way there I grabbed some clean clothes from my
dresser and then turned on the shower. I took my time in there and began to
stroke. Once again just as I was getting ready to get some relief while
thinking of TJ I heard a knock at the door. It was my dad. He opened the
door when I answered and came in. Thank God for frosted glass shower doors
that you can't see through. He would have had a nice 5 1/2 inch surprise.
"Your Mom and I are going to the store and then the mall. TJ called at
eleven thirty and wanted me to tell you that he would be here around three
to pick you up. I left something for you in an envelope on the table. Be
sure to be responsible with it. If you need anything our new cell phone
numbers are listed on the fridge." Then he left. Once again I had gone limp
and the hot water was running out so I knew that I would have to wait until
later to get any relief at all. I got out of the shower and dressed. I then
walked across my deck and into the main part of the house upstairs and then
found my way down to the living room. There was the envelope on the table
just as dad said there would be. I opened it and found a card. It was a get
well soon card and when I opened it they had wrote Welcome Home in it. They
must have felt the same way I did about our new house and then I noticed
something wrapped in paper in the bottom of the envelope. I opened it and
found a credit card in there with my name and Dad's name on it. I could not
believe my eyes. I grabbed some leftover pizza and a can of Coke from the
fridge and sat down in front of the television. I watched a movie on HBO but
must have fallen asleep because I awoke to the sound of the doorbell. It was
TJ.
