Subject: Here is Chapter 5 of Kids will be kids

Chapter 5 Cameron gets more bad news & Cameron & Jr come out
of the closet.

Cameron came down the stairs and my Mom came back into the
kitchen and asked my Dad to come into the dining room. So,
Cameron and I were left sitting at the table. "Are you ok
Cameron?" "Yeah JR I am ok." With that my Mom and Dad came
back into the kitchen. They didn't look too happy. They both
sat down at the table and my Mom started to talk. " Cameron,
son that was the hospital on the phone. They called to say
that your dad passed away."  "No, that can't be true. No, No
that's not right." Cameron just broke down in tears and I
took him and gave him a hug. He cried for a while and my
parents got up and tried to console him but he didn't want
to go to them. He held on to me tight. I felt so bad that I
started to cry too. My Dad came and put his arms around me
and tried to console me. But I guess I was just as upset as
Cameron. The thought of not having any parents is terrible.
I rubbed Cameron's hair trying to get him to calm down. "
Hey Cameron try and get a hold of yourself you are going to
get sick if you don't stop crying buddy. I love you calm
down I am not ever going to leave you.

So, after a few minutes of him crying he calmed down. "What
am I gonna do now? I have no Mom or Dad. Where am I going to
live and with who?" My Dad said; " For now Cameron you can
stay with us, I am sure that JR won't mind having you here
and sharing his room with you until we fix the den up as a
bedroom. The hospital did say that you have a grandmother
who lives in California is that right?" " Yes, she lives in
San Bernardino do you know where that is?" My Dad said; "
Well I think so but I am not sure how close to L.A. it is.
The hospital gave me your grandma's phone number and I am
going to call her in a few minutes to tell her about your
Mom and Dad. In the meantime you can go upstairs with JR and
play video games until I get through to your Grandma and
tell her what happened O.K.?" " O.K. I am not too much in
the mood to play video games but I will try." "All right
Cameron I am sure your Grandma will want to talk to you so I
will call you when I am done explaining to her what
happened." " JR why don't you change your bed linens while
Cameron plays some games. I hope you don't mind sharing your
room until we get the den fixed up." " No problem Dad its ok
with me I could use the company." "C'mon Cameron lets go
upstairs." "OK Jr."

So, we went upstairs and I turned on the TV and Video Game
System for Cameron and I started to strip my bed. A couple
of minutes went by and I heard my Dad holler to Cameron to
come downstairs. So I finished making the bed and followed
Cameron downstairs. I followed Cameron into the kitchen and
my dad handed Cameron the phone. I was trying to keep an eye
on Cameron in case he got upset talking to his grandmother.
I tried not to be nosey but I wanted to get close enough to
see if he was all right. I could tell that he was starting
to cry a little so I went over and held him in my arms while
he talked to his grandma. He hung up the phone and he gave
me a big hug and kiss. And then we went back to the kitchen
table as my Mom and Dad were sitting there waiting for him
to finish on the phone. "So, Cameron what did your grandma
have to say?" my dad said. " She said that she was coming
out here for the funeral and that I would be going home to
California with her when she goes back home. She said she
would be here for at least two weeks setting up my school
transfer and taking care of selling the house that we used
to live in." " Hey, Cameron that wouldn't be too bad then
maybe we can get together on weekends. I hope it's close to
where we are going to live." "Gee, I hope so JR that would

"Hey JR your Mom and I want to talk to you and Cameron." "
We have been listening the last couple of days talking about

to tell us?" "Well, Mom and Dad this is kind of hard to talk

long as you have safe sex." " Gee, Mom and Dad you guys are
great all I could think about when you kept asking me to
talk to you about something was that you were not going to

thank you too. I will need all of JR's support and love now
so that I can get on with my life without my parents." "Did
your parents know Cameron?" my dad said. " I don't think so
because when they were around we were very careful what we

really doubt it."

"O.K. you guys I don't want any fooling around upstairs
tonight. And please make sure that you use a condom if you
are going to have sex." "OK Dad and Mom thanks for
understanding I love both of you so much." And then I got up
and gave them both a hug; and Cameron followed me and did
the same.

Then we went back upstairs and decided to play some video
games until we got tired. When we go back upstairs I gave
Cameron a big hug and kiss. " I love you so much Cameron." "
I love you more JR." It felt like we were glued together
hugging and kissing. Every time I tried to let go of Cameron
he would pull me in tighter. Of course, as usual I started
getting a woody and so did Cameron. We decided that we would
try and control ourselves and not get carried away. So, we
broke the hug and sat down and started to play video games.


Chapter 6 Grandma arrives and surprises Cameron

Well Cameron's grandma showed up the day before the funeral.
She stayed in Cameron's house as she had to get things in
order so that the house could be sold. Also she went down to
the funeral parlor to make arrangements for the funeral.
First she came over to my house to see Cameron. I don't
think that they have seen one another in awhile. We were
sitting up in my room when the bell rang on the front door.

needed time together considering what had just happened. So,

some games until my parents come back from the market."

In chapter 6 I will not be doing a blow-by-blow description
of the funeral and all that. The next chapter will just make
mention of the funeral and continue the story of Cameron's
grandmother's arrival and so on. I hope you enjoyed this

line will definitely get lighter as better times are coming
