Life After Mike    Chapter 4


Paul and Jerry were both sound asleep when the alarm went off, Jerry
jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom and got into the
shower, when he finished he dried off, brushed his teeth and combed his

breakfast?

Paul said, no. He was going to go to school and see about enrolling in
home schooling and let the principal know what the story was with
mom and how she was not going to be able to be left alone.

Jerry said that he thought it was a good idea but did not know if that
would be enough to allow him to be enrolled in home schooling,
he said I will be there if you feel that you need any support, just let
him know and he would be there.

Paul said thanks and then they headed off to school.

They had just arrived and Paul was heading for the office and was met by
the principal, who was also headed in that direction.

Paul followed the principal into the office and asked if he could speak
to him privately. The principal said that he had a few things that needed
to be done but would be available in about 30 minutes, Paul said thanks
and that he would wait outside,  The principal came
out in about 30 minutes and asked Paul to come into his office, Paul went
in and sat down. He started by saying that due to a family
emergency yesterday and as a result of that, he was there to inquire
about enrolling in the home schooling program, He aid that his
mom had suffered from a fainting spell due to exhaustion and the doctor
said that she need to cut back on her daily activities and
start taking it easier, with that in mind Paul had decided that it would
be a good idea of home schooling so that he could be there
to assist her with anything that she may need and to take care of the
majority of the  daily chores that needed to be done. The
principal said that it was extremely possibly that under the
circumstances that he just may qualify for home schooling, he asked
Paul to wait in his office and he would go and check it out and be right
back. When he returned to his office, he stated that it
would not be a problem and that he would take care of all the necessary
paperwork, and that Paul should check back in a couple
days for the final decision. Paul expressed his gratitude and then left
the office and headed for his class.

Jerry met up with Paul at lunch and Paul told him what was happening and
the they would know by the end of the week.

The rest of the day went smoothly and when the final bell rang, Paul and
Jerry were walking by the office and were called into the
office and were told the the principal wanted to see him, Paul knocked on
the principal's door and was told to come in, he said good
afternoon sir, you wanted to see me. The principal said yes, and to
please sit down, Paul sat down and the principal told him that all
the paperwork was submitted and was returned and approved, that his home
schooling would start tomorrow. Paul stood and shook his
hand and said thank you for all your help I am very grateful, the
principal responded and said the reason it went through so fast was
that Paul was such a good student that they felt that making it harder on
him could cause a drop in his schooling and they would not
accept that.

Paul left the principal's office and met Jerry out in the hall, he told
him that he had been approved  for home schooling and that it
started tomorrow. The boys talked about it all the way home and when they
got there they went inside and Paul started to see
what needed to be done before the evening set in.

Jerry went into the bedroom and started to do his homework.

Paul was cleaning the house and making dinner at the same time, when
dinner was ready he called Jerry, and told him it was time to
eat, the boys sat down and had dinner then cleaned the kitchen. When the
kitchen was clean Paul went into the bedroom, Jerry was
just finishing his homework when Paul walked in.

Jerry turned and said well what shall he do now?

Paul walked up to jerry and kissed him on the back of the neck.

Jerry turned and looked at Paul and said, what are you doing, Paul said
that tonight was the night that he was going to give himself to

going to have to get up early and it is almost midnight, I
have to go to school and you have house work to do before I get home and
we go get mom,

Paul looked lovingly at Jerry and said you are right and I will be very
happy to sleep in your arms tonight, they both cuddled up next to
each other and fell asleep in each others arms,

The following morning they got up and spent about 30 minutes just
cuddling with each other, when Paul finally said you better get ready
for school, I will have the house cleaned when you get home and then we
can go get mom. They both got out of bed and Jerry said  I
am going to miss you a lot today, I guess that that is something I will
have to get used to.

Paul said I will always be here waiting for you.

Jerry headed of to school and Paul was busy cleaning the house, by the
time Jerry got home Paul had washed all the floors and laundry
the dishes were washed and put away and everything was dusted and the
house looked spotless, Jerry walked in and went right over to
Paul and hugged him and kissed his and said good afternoon my love, Paul
asked if he was ready to go get mom, and they locked the door
and were on their way to the hospital, they got there and mom was eagerly
waiting for them and they all left the hospital and went home.
when they arrived home and went in mom was shocked at what she saw.

She said my goodness you boys have been really busy.

Jerry looked at her and said no Paul did it all himself, but there are
some things we need to talk about. they sat in the living room and
Paul started by saying, mom I know that you have been expecting this for
a while and I wanted to tell you that Jerry and I are now
officially a couple, mom looked at both of them and smiled and said well
it is about time, I thought you would never get that far but
I am so happy for you both.

Paul said that he went to school today and that he enrolled in the hpme
schooling program and was apporved, so he would be here to take care of
her during the day, and that he would still be getting his education,
that was the important thing. So now you have become queen of the house,
and Jerry and I will be you royal subjects and at your beckin call
whenever you need us.  Now you need to go and lay down and
we will bring you dinner when it is ready,

Mom said I will do no such thing I can still sit at the table with my
boys and have dinner, she looked at them and said, you would not
deprive me of that pleasure would you?

Paul smiled and said well since you put it that way, what choice do we
have.

The boys made dinner and they all sat at the kitchen table, the boys
waited on her hand and foot and when dinner was done they told
her to go and watch tv while they cleaned up the kitchen, when they were
through they joined her and they all sat and watched tv until it was time
to go to bed. the boys said good night and they walked mom to her room
and asked if there was anything that she needed before
they went to bed.

She said yes there is, I want you to to promise that you will not pay
that much attention to me that you forget to be yourselves and
take care of each other.

The boys both promised and headed off to bed. They got undressed and
climbed into bed they were both naked and just cuddled with
each other and were both sound asleep in a few minutes.
