Subject: Life's Expectations Chapter 23

	Lets get this over with now: I own "Life's Expectations" and every
character in the story. There are some events that have actually happened
to me, but all the characters are fictional. If it is illegal for you to to
view this in your location, then GTFO. You're probably gonna ignore that so
have fun. Boy on boy happens in this story so if your not a fan of that,

	This chapter will start with Nick's birthday. Then I decided mid
chapter it would go over to Zach... and then back to Gage... so... you'll
get a little mind rant from Zach and some interesting drama from Gage!

	Since we are heading into the month of November I will share who
has had a birthday since the start of the story! In September Nick and
Gage's Mother had her birthday, Connor Shane's foster brother had his,
Annie of course had his, and Shira had her 16th birthday. In October we had
Nick of course, Blake Lucas' little brother had his 11th, And Ricky Clair's
boyfriend. In November we have a few. Such as Clair's 17th, Zach's 15th
that will have a chapter for it, and Annie's mother's.

	Why did I just tell you that!? I have no idea! For the month of May
and June since that is where we are in life right now there is also a
couple! In May, Matt's is on the 26th, Tanis on the 24th, Jennifer Adams
and her father share the 23rd, Larrissa has the 13th, Lucas had the 11th,
and Lindsey has the 29th.

	In June you have there is only a couple. Isaac's mother has a
birthday on the 16th, Kale is on the 28th, Mr. Knotts is on the 14th and
Gabe's is on the 4th of June. So wish them a happy birthday or something
maybe... if you feel like it.

	Anyways on with the chapter! With Nightmare Before Christmas!!!!

	Chapter 23 – This is Halloween


	Nick's Pov

	After a long night of trick or treating we finally retired to my
basement. Lucas, Annie, Tanis and Isaac as well as myself all had enough to
feed a small army of children for days. We had agreed previously that we
would throw all the 'gold' we got into a pile for us to 'loot' later, or so
said our pirate Annie.

	Tanis ended up destroying some of his old cloths and being a
homeless man. His very dirty pillow case helped him in his costume. Tanis
had even rolled in dirt before heading out with us, just to add to the
effect.

	Lucas ended up being younger Choji from Naruto. He had enough chub
to pull it off. His hair needed some work but that's okay. He made a very
sexy Choji along side Isaac's Nagato costume. Isaac was perfect in his
outfit, even more so than Lucas.

	So as I said we were going to share our candy equally between each
other. It was good cause some people liked certain candy and others
didn't. Not a whole lot of it was candy none of us liked but apparently
some of our family members did. At the end all the candy was separated
mostly evenly.

	Right now though, I'm in our basement shower trying to get all this
white body paint off me. Note to the world: never cover you entire upper
body with body paint, just the see able parts. This stuff is really hard to
get off!

	Just as I got half of it off there was a knock at the door. "I'm in
the shower!"

	"I really need to take a piss!" It was Lucas.

	I let out a sigh, "Make it quick..." He came in almost immediately
and started pissing. He even let out a sigh of relief, "You could have told
me you needed to piss when I got in."

	"I didn't need to pee when you got in."

	"Apparently you did..." He finished and went to wash his hands. Now
I know he's looking at me cause he only ever washes his hands when he's at
school. That and I can see him looking at me through the mirror. "You know
you could just turn around.. it's not like you haven't seen me before."

	"Well you are getting hard from me just being here." So he turned
around and I acted shy and turned away from him. Playfully of course. "You
do realize you have body paint in the middle of your back."

	Shit! I forgot about that! "Dammit! I don't have a scrub brush down
here."

	"I could always help."

	"I'm in the shower and everyone will know!"

	"Who cares, they know about us being into guys." Lucas is always a
mixed cannon. If that saying works... Well what I mean is that he's okay
with his sexuality sometimes and wants to be hidden at others. Like in
school, I think he's asked me three times to meet him in upstairs math and
language wing for a mid school fuck. I only went twice...

	Then there are other times where he will be barely talking. He says
afterwords he's afraid they might catch on by the way he talks. I think its
bullshit and he should stop being chicken.

	The thing that effects him the most though is how horny he is. If
he hadn't had some action in about a week he's all about the affection. If
it's a few days after, hell the day after, he's all uptight about it. It
just bugs me.

	None the less though he joined me in the shower and got the body
paint off my back. Didn't stop us from getting boned up. We didn't do
anything to dirty just some rubbing against each other. I think he fingered
me for a bit though... that felt good.

	After I was clean off we got out and dried off. When we rejoined
everybody they had shit eating grins on their faces. I just told them to
shut up and they all laughed. We ended up playing Monopoly for hours. No
one ended up winning but we all made it out as friends!

	It was predetermined that we would all sleep downstairs. When I
entered Lucas' sleeping bag instead of mine we got another round of
grins. Once again I told them to shut up. Lucas is just the perfect cuddle
buddy!

	I was sure mom or dad wouldn't come down during the night or in the
morning. But to be sure me and Lucas were in a corner out of sight from the
door. Lucas fell asleep before me, so we both had really good sleeps. In
our underwear only at that.

	When I woke up I could feel both of our morning woods. As horny as
that made me there was a Tanis, Isaac and Annie in the room. So I attempted
to not wake up Lucas, which failed, while getting out of the sleeping
bag. "Watch where you crawl."

	"Sorry it was a tight squeeze." Luckily for me Lucas falls asleep
really easily. So I made my way to the bathroom for my morning pee and then
made my way upstairs... what did I get myself into?


	Zach's POV

	"It's your birthday in three days what are you gonna do?" Shane has
said he loves birthdays but I didn't expect it to be this bad. He's been
asking me the same basic question for almost two weeks. I have yet to give
him a straight answer, I don't know what I'm gonna do okay!

	The past couple of years its just been me and my Aunt going for
dinner. I was a loner, didn't want to get close to anyone. Stayed in my own
little world away from everyone. They all knew what happened... none of
them talked to me about it, the didn't talk to me period.

	The worst part is that I don't feel like celebrating my birthday is
a good thing. My parents had their accident a few days after my
birthday... I feel like I'm rubbing it in their faces that I lived through
it and they didn't.

	"Zach, tell me why you don't like your birthday..." We were laying
on my bed, Shane looking up at me from my chest. His puppy dog eyes are so
hard to resist, so I told him. "So you think your bragging... there has to
be more to this story."

	"I don't want to tell it."

	"Zach, you know what my dad did to me... Why can't I know what
happened with your parents?"

	"Cause it was my fault, okay!"

	"No it's not!"

	"How do you know that? I haven't told you what happened!"

	Shane had probably the most serious look I've ever seen him with,
"Cause I once thought it was my fault my dad did that stuff. I know it's
not though, I can't control other people. He did it of his own free will."
His eyes were sharp and his voice... rehearsed but I knew he was
right. Even though I didn't feel that way.

	"Can we get off this topic, please?"

	"We can go back to what you plan to do for your birthday." Shane
smiled up at me, I let out a sigh, "Is it really that much of a deal?"

	"No not really. I guess I should have a birthday party this
year. We could have a Lan party. What game does everyone like?" I knew most
of the guys didn't like COD, some liked Halo... Most if not all liked Gears
though.

	"Gears of War is probably the best bet." See told you, even Shane
agrees.

	"So then who should come? I need help here from you."

	We ended up just putting a list of people on Shane's Ipod. Gears
has a 10 people in a game limit, so we had to Stay within that frame. So
the list started with three names off the top of my head: Gage, Nick and
Sam. That made 5 including me and Shane. From there though I needed some
help deciding.

	I had to consult Shane about a few people, mainly Lucas. I had
gotten to know Lucas a bit during lunch and when he was hanging with Nick
at Gage's place. I just needed to know if Shane was okay with him going. It
turned out Shane was gonna ask me to anyways cause he thought it would be a
good addition to their rekindling friendship.

	So with that it made 6 people going. From their Shane started
listing people: Kyle, Gabe, Chester, Kale, Shira, Quin, Isaac, Tanis and
Matt all came up. Anthony did too, but I don't know the kid well. He's
always so quiet when I'm around. We decided since Kale wasn't in town for
much longer he'd be invited, 7. Quin and Shira came up, but we decided that
it would be only guys.

	That left Kyle, Gabe, Chester, Isaac, Tanis and Matt to sort
through, with only 3 slots left. I remembered Kyle was going away next
weekend so he wouldn't make it. Gabe we felt would dampen the mood of the
party so we crossed him off. Chester isn't that much of a gamer so we also
crossed him off. That left Isaac, Tanis and Matt making the grand total of
ten!

	When we addressed this to my aunt she loved the idea and threw in a
twist. I would be allowed to have 4 friends sleepover. The rest had to be
gone by 11pm. So I looked at Shane, "One."

	Shane smiled and statistically replied, "I thought I might be left
out." I smacked him. "So who are the other lucky three?"

	"Gage of course. He showed me around the first day of school."

	"Sam then, cause with out him we wouldn't have met!"

	"That's not entirely true, but I agree in having him over. I think
Matt or Kale also, that way its all the older kids and guys that I spend
most of my time with." It's true... Isaac, Tanis, Nick, and Lucas all hang
out with themselves. They hangout with us at lunch half the time, that's
it.

	"Matt or Kale... Hmmm."

	That's when my aunt stepped in, "Shane doesn't count towards that
number. I said friends not boyfriends." We both blushed about it but with
that we had who would sleep over and who would just be over for the day.

	Next up was to set up when it would happen. We decided Saturday at
1pm is when it would start and we would have the best party food, Pizza!! I
would even have my mini-fridge by then so I could put pop and stuff in
there. Then we needed to have 5 copies of Gears. That would wait till
school, me and Shane have a date to go on! It's just an ice cream date but
it's still a date!


	Gage's POV

	It was shortly after 8 when I woke up the first time. Sam laying on
my chest sound asleep. I fell back to sleep and it was around 11 when I
awoke from Sam getting up. He when to the bathroom in just his boxers and
his shirt. When he returned it was my turn to take a piss.

	Me and Sam don't have the most sexual of relationships but last
night we did just a bit of stuff. Since it was Halloween we concluded that
we should do something. We had done some mutual jacking in the past but
last night I finally got to give him a BJ!!

	Sam wasn't as excited as I was, he sucked me off for a bit but
didn't finish me. As much as he is bi, he is a clean freak and doesn't like
getting dirty things in him. He has said that he would bottom for me one
day... I don't know when that'll happen but apparently it will.

	Anyways as much as I love sex, breakfast was waiting! Me and Sam
were apparently the first ones up, so I got started on breakfast. I decided
that making lots of pancakes was a good idea since Nick had friends in the
basement. So I made enough batter for probably well over 20 of the things.

	So while I was making them I heard one of the doors upstairs open
and close. It was a minute or so before I figured out it was my mom who was
up. She sat down at the table before saying a word. "How was your night
boys?" I could tell there was something else on her mind.

	Me and Sam both answered, "Good!" at the same time.

	"What time did you two get to bed?"

	"Around midnight I think it was..." Sam looked over to me. I could
tell he knew something was up too.

	There was silence for a while before my mom spoke up again. I knew
this entire time she was thinking of how she was going to word what she
wanted to say, "So I wasn't going to make a big deal of it... but now I
think I have too. When I bought you, Gage, lube and condoms they were meant
to be used together. Yet I find some lube gone and the condom box unopened,
why?"

	"It wasn't me I swear." I know it was me. It was me and Nick to be
more precise. I didn't think she'd look for like a month though. She got me
that stuff, very awkwardly, a week ago. How do I get out of this one?

	"If it wasn't you, that leaves Nick to have done something."

	"He's barely 13, he wouldn't have, couldn't have."

	My mom looked at me with a face that just said 'your going with
that?' before she continued, "13 is not at the age where 'couldn't have' is
an excuse."

	Just as Mom said that the basement door closed. I hoped it wasn't
Nick but then he appeared in the kitchen rubbing his eyes, "Cool pancakes
for breakfast! Gimmie, gimmie, gimmie!" I did end up giving him a couple.

	Nick had just stuck a bite in his mouth before Mom started to
question him. "Nick has your father given you the birds and the bees talk?"
Now I knew where this was going... I had told him all about it, not dad. It
was also Nick who used the lube with Lucas. They already got told off by
me.

	Nick shook his head, "When Gage came out to me he kinda explained
it. Other than that I don't know much." Flat out lie right their, I can
almost penetrate his ass without any lube.

	"Did Gage," She had emphasized my name a lot, I just blushed,
"explain to you how lube works?" It was then he knew what was going on... I
would tell he had a super blush going on but since he had his back to me I
couldn't see it. He just nodded his head, "I bought Gage some lube and some
condoms earlier this week and some of the lube is gone, but no condoms have
been used. Do you know why?"

	Nick shook his head no. When ever he lies he doesn't speak at all
and mom hopefully doesn't know that, "Why would he know, I didn't even tell
him." Nick then gave me a 'help' face. He's never been good at lying.

	"Gage, I am not asking you I am asking your brother." She gave me a
death glare, "Nick what do you know about the birds and the bees?"

	"Boys and girls have sex by uhh.... Do I really have to say it?"
Nick gave an audible gulp. Mom just nodded in response, "By putting the
boys... ya... into the girls... ya..."

	"Ya?"

	"Do you know how awkward it is talking to your mom about this
stuff? I have friends downstairs and Gage in the room, It's suuuuper
awkward!" Nick wasn't touching his food this entire time. He's gotta be
super nervous. Then I heard his chair shaking.

	We have one chair that's off balance and Nick is in it. He's making
it move back and forth one the two legs. Honestly really annoying but from
where I stood I was okay with it. You know since he's being questioned and
all.

	"Nick what's wrong?" It was genuine and sincere. I went to sit down
and I could see in his face that he was holding back tears. If he's
anything like me, that question is gonna make him cry.

	"I'm fine." Then he looked away from everyone. I can tell you what
could be going through his mind. First: Nick hates Lying and people who
tell them. So lying to mom is tearing him apart. I know he wants to tell
the truth, but he also would be basically telling mom that he's gay. I said
it in the lunch room on a whim, he's being pressured.

	"Nick, what is wrong?" Mom moves so she can see his face. Nick
notices and bolts it upstairs. We were all stunned until mom spoke up
again. "Gage, he knows exactly what happened doesn't he?"

	"I'm gonna go check on him."

	Next thing I know, as I'm heading towards the stairs, my mom
sternly speaks to me, "Gage Mathias Bells, does or doesn't Nick know?"

	"Yes okay!" Then I rushed up to Nick. When I got to our room I
didn't see him. So I looked on the other side of my bed and found
him. Covering himself with a blanket but I found him. "Nick..."

	"You said I knew... How am I gonna look at mom without freaking out
ever again!?"

	"Nick, calm down."

	"I can't! I am a disappointment to mom and dad and to the eighth
grade!"

	"No your not Nick. Just calm down for a second." Nick didn't
respond. In fact with everything I said for the next few minutes he didn't
respond. I knew he was choosing not to respond though.

	After about five minutes of trying to talk to him he screams, "GET
OUT!!!" He even kicks me in the stomach, that hurt. So I ended up leaving
the room. I didn't go far, just outside the door, just enough space for
Nick.

	It was about half an hour before Clair came in through the front
door. She immediately came up and looked at me. Surprisingly she didn't
look like she hated me... She seamed more concerned for Nick than anything.

	She entered the room slamming the door open. "Nickolas Bells get
out of that blanket!" She then tares the blanket out from under him. He
ended up being upside down. "Now, straighten yourself out and tell me what
happened."

	Nick just looked at Clair, then away from her, "Nothing
happened..."

	"Bullshit! Mom calls me and says you can't tell her something and
as a result you burst into tears. Now tell me what happened or else!" Nick
ended up telling the entire story, even where he yelled at me.

	"I can't look at mom anymore. It'll be to weird."

	"Nick, your not a disappointment get that through your head right
now. Mom is upset right now cause he thinks you don't trust her enough. She
pretty much knows now, if you tell her than there wont be any bad blood
between you two."

	"It's not that I don't trust her... I'm just confused about
everything. Boys should like girls not boys. But Sam and Gage are dating so
that means boys can like boys. There is people who don't like that
though... GAAAAAH!"

	"I am going to tell you the same thing that I told Gage when he
told me he liked boys." Nick looked to me, I nodded and then he looked back
at Clair. "Who cares what people at school thinks. You are only with them
for 5 years, the people who stay with you beyond that are the important
ones."

	The room fell quiet for a bit. We could hear the load conversation
that was going on downstairs. Nick finally spoke once I heard Lucas laugh,
"We don't need to tell mom about my sex life right?"

	"I'm pretty sure mom wouldn't want to know about that."

	"Okay... I'll tell her once everyone goes home...  but you two have
to be there!"

	"Deal!" We then made our way back downstairs. It was awesome to see
that almost all my pancakes were gone. It was even better to know Nick was
doing a little better. I get it, why he's so confused and frightened but I
eventually ended up not giving a shit. I really hope he ends up on the same
page as I do. People like Jake make that harder to do though.

	Chapter end.

	So that's the chapter! Next chapter will have a truth or dare game
in it, since it's Zach's Party and all. I will be using a program I have on
my phone to make the truths and dares so I will have no control over who
gets asked what! Sounds fun doesn't it!
