This one though I am going to type as fast as possible. Last chapter was the end of Zach and Shane's date. I also showed a bit into Shane's past. With a bit of Gage and Nick in the beginning. It's gonna be on the Sunday instead of the Saturday cause I said so. With out further wait: chapter 9 Family Issues!! Gage's POV It's just after 1:30 and I'm still in bed. I spend a lot of time hanging out with friends during the weekend. We usually stay up till like 4am on Friday and Saturday, so Sunday is my sleep in till 4pm day. Well I usually wake up before then but that that doesn't stop my explanation of it. The best part is that mom and dad are out every Sunday morning. Not to go to church just to have their Sunday brunch. They go out with a couple of their high school friends. I know, how did they stay in contact so long? Answer: they never left their hometown except to go to post secondary. Out of the ordinary Nick is out on a weekend as well. He's not not even at Tanis', which is weird. He's at Anthony Justice's place... I find it weird. Before he started high school every singe grade 7 I came across talked about the 'gay boy' and how he's so gross. I guess the one's I didn't see were the good ones. On top of Anthony he's friends with Issac, 'the emo kid'. Don't get me wrong I'm not one to judge and it seams kinda natural that it happened but I can't help but wonder about the kid. Like why he really wears the bandana's around his arms. Wait why am I worrying about Nick's life right now? Today is the day that Sam and I talk to his mom. Sam was texting me till almost 5am last night with worry. I just kept saying that 'she already suspects it so you have nothing to worry about.' Which gave little to no help when it came to his dad. He kept going on about 'what if dad finds out and I gets kicked out?' So little back story: his dad works out in a labor camp doing... Iron worker stuff. He comes into town every three weeks for his week off and just kinda drinks while he's here. He's very strict too, which doesn't help Sam's not so good relationship with him. Peter and his dad though get along great. Peter is into sports and stuff just like his dad. Sam is more into computer software and techy stuff. He always entertains the idea of sports and goes out to see our local hockey team play sometimes. I'm usually asked to come along, and by usually I mean always. We usually sit with Peter and his dad until we see someone we know and then go have our irrelevant talks with them. It's usually Chester we see, sometimes Tanis and Matt. I don't think Kyle would even think about going to a hockey game. Well that went off topic. I'm going over to Sam's for dinner tonight and we're gonna have our talk after dinner. I've heard my phone go off like 3 times since noon and I am presuming it's Sam... And he is aware of my Sunday schedule. Okay, make that four times. Fine lets check what's up. Message 1 - Sam: Gage you awake yet? Message 2 - Sam: I know you like to sleep in on sunday but wake up!!! Message 3 - Sam: Please? Message 4 - Nick: Is mom and dad home???? Did not expect that one from Nick.... my response: Of course not A couple of minutes pass and I get a response: How bought Clair?? Me: Nope Nick: Perfect! Were gonna have some fun! Me: Like what? Nick: Just stay in bed and youll find out Well that settles that... Now for Sam: K im up now Sam: Finally!!!! Read a book or something. Anything to get it off your mind. Sam: Fine. When you coming over?? Me: As soon as my mom and dad get back from their weekly brunch. Sam: When will that be? Gage basically told me that we're watching a movie and so we ended up watching Lion King. I'm sure when Hakuna Matata started playing the whole house heard us singing along. Peter even came in and told us to shut up. The moment the movie was done my mom called us for dinner. Maybe the tv was a little to loud. Dinner had the normal conversation. Mom asking Gage how schools going so far, which had the typical teenage answer, "Great!" They went on to talk about Drama and the up and coming senior theater production. The seniors were doing The Sound of music and Gage had heard that Mr. Knotts was gonna hold auditions for the younger kids and he was planing on trying for the older boy... What ever the character's name is. We finished not very long after Gage started talking about the Drama club. Gage is filled with talk of either the theater or anime. Him and Kyle could talk forever about that stuff. I think Peter had enough of it though cause he excused himself not long after he was done. It wasn't long after Peter left my mom made the conversation turn onto a more serious note. "So now boys, about what happened at the grocery store..." "It caught me off guard completely... I wanted to tell you... just not then." I couldn't even look at my mom. "And Gage knows I'm presuming?" I just nodded. "We've had crushes on each other for a few years now..." Gage just made this conversation really awkward. He wasn't even looking at my mom. "Pretty much all of our friends know." "I see... So whats wrong with telling your mother?" See really awkward! "I don't know... It's just feels like you'll think of me differently and stuff..." "I think of you in one way that is different than before. So we ended up watching Lion King two. Gage grew up watching these movies and hasn't stopped. They are good movies though. I fell asleep sometime during the movie and woke up at about 11 when my mom put the blankets on us. "Sleep tight Sammy, you too Gage. Love you." Good to know that my mom doesn't really care about me and Gage... good to know. End So I got this one out as fast as I could for you guys. I know it's a little shorter but I didn't really have much to work with in my mind. So there you go. Next chapter I'm gonna be back tracking a bit. I'm gonna go back to after the first day of school with Issac. You'll get a bit of his family in there and what he's up to. Sooo I've been playing Tales of Graces f, and all I gotta say is, no wonder it was released on the wii... way to much friendshipness in that game. That is not how you end a Tales game... I wont spoil it but I'm so glad for it having bonus content on the PS3. I'm also waiting very patiently for Kat and Emmet in Playstation all Stars. Gravity Rush was great and I wanna play Kat and Dusty so bad. I never played Starhalk so I don't really know what to look for when it comes to Emmet. Why is there no release date for them!!!
