LLL – Chapter 40a – A Future Together Part 1 – Unapologetic

Nick Bell's POV

	"I wonder, did I make the right choice?" I joked while laying down
next to Lucas.

	He smacked me, right in the stomach. "You sneaky little..." Quick
as a cat, Lucas was over top of me pinning me down. Did I mention that we
were just in our boxers? I did fail to mention that didn't I. "You're not
getting rid of me so easily."

	I couldn't move; Lucas has always been stronger than me. He's also

seemed so into Shayla, and it looked like you were going to stay with

of me and took the blankets off us. "Oh god, it's cold in here."

rolled his eyes and threw my underwear at me.

	"Get up you wimp."I scowled before getting my underwear on and
finding other clothes to wear.

	More people than not, in my shoes, would have given up on. I almost

Isaac Adams' POV

	The whistle blew, we won our first game 4-0. I dropped onto the

	Kale came up over me. "Need some help up?"

	I chuckled to myself. "How'd I do?"

	"I think you might even be team captain this year; you were doing

well. Just enough that the next jersey size is too big, and this one is

that's a plus.

	"Well, at least you enjoyed a show." I winked at him. "Mind if we
catch a ride to my place Kale?"

	"Sure, let's get out of here." Kale and Antoine started heading
towards the car.

	"One sec, guys." I went over and joined in the after game
rituals. It wasn't long before I joined back up with Antoine and Kale.

	When I got there, they were chatting away like friends. It's so
strange that my Ex-boyfriend and boyfriend can hang out like normal
people. They are some of the best guys anyone could ask for.


	Later on, when it was just Antoine and I snuggling on my
couch. "How do you like Kale?" Antoine looked up with a confused look on
his face. "I know it's weird but nonetheless, answer the question?"

	He just smiled and rolled his eyes. "He's a cool guy, doesn't seem
to be hitting on you." Antoine reached up and gave me a kiss on the
cheek. "So the puppy is coming home tomorrow."

	"Changing the subject are you?"

	Antoine blushed and went back to resting on my chest. "Kale told me
that he respects that you and I are together. He's a good guy, a good
friend. We're not jealous of each other, and if you insist on checking up
on us every once in a while, I'll smack you." Antoine's smacks hurt, like
way more than any smack should.

	"Okay, I'll stop." Antoine took a deep sigh. "I guess I'm gonna
have to face my fear of dogs at your place."

	"I'll be there the entire time, no need to worry." I tightened my
grip around him. Dogs, no matter how big or small still scare me. When you
get attacked by one, it sort of happens. "I'll make sure the monster
doesn't get you."

	That was my cue to smack him on the chest. "Hey, puppies aren't
monsters. They are monsters in training. Especially the tiny ones, they are
the worst." I'm not the only one on that point; I know I'm not.

	Antoine just giggled. "You'd really face your fears?"

	"Ya... For you, I'd do anything Antoine." This guy, who knows,
maybe he isn't my soulmate but right now he's my boyfriend. He's my one and
only right now, so of course I'll do anything for him.

	"You're the best Izsac" Both of us took a sharp inhale at the same
time. Antoine got up from snuggling me with the most ecstatic look on his
face. "I almost got it!"

	I couldn't help but burst into a huge fit of laughter. Antoine had
a slight chuckle to him. "Yes, you almost got my name, Antoine." I made
sure to emphasize his entire name. That was when he smacked me. "Proud of
you, Frenchie."

	He rolled his eyes and resumed snuggling up to me. "Shut up, Izzy."

	It doesn't matter what he calls me; he's mine. Antoine Rieu is my
boyfriend, and if I have any say in the future, I'm marrying this boy.


Tyson Jackson's POV

	"Taylor are you ready?" I asked my best friend. He nodded. "Okay,
lets go."

	Today was the day... Dad is home from a business trip, and I can't

	So Taylor and I walked down to my dad's office, and we stood in the
door frame. Dad looked super busy with some kind of work. He was talking to
himself over something.

	We just looked at each other and smiled. We stood there listening
to his murmuring to himself. It was quite the funny sight. When Dad finally
did look up and see us, he was startled. "Oh! How long have you two been
there?"

	Taylor and I broke into a fit of laughter. I managed to get out,
"Long enough." between my laughs.

	Dad crossed his arms and stared at us until we had ourselves under
control. "How can I help you, boys?"

	"Tyson wanted to tell you something!" Taylor threw me under the bus
and ran away. I was left in the office alone with my dad.

	This, even like just a couple months ago, would scare
me. Interrupting dad from his work; he would usually be yelling at me right
now. He's not, though; he's changed for the better. We do stuff now as
father and son. We're bonding like never before; it's a great feeling.

	So I have no fear when I say, "Nikolai and I are dating." And the
smile that grew on my dad's face made it all worth it. He's happy for us.

	"What time is it?" He asked more to himself. "3 pm. Okay, I want
you to ask your mom if she can get dinner ready for seven."

	"Seven?" Why seven?

	Taylor thought it was good to chime in. "I'm staying for dinner to
remember!?"

	"Oh yes, sorry Taylor. Eight, I want you to invite Travis, Nikolai
and the girls over for dinner. If your mother can do it in time." Dad waved
his hand. "Go and ask!"

	I laughed and headed off to find mom. She was gardening; it's rare
when she has time to do it during the day. When I explained it all to here,
she sighed. "I guess I'm done Gardening for today. Off to the kitchen."
WE'RE HAVING COMPANY OVER FOR DINNER!! I'm excited. "I will need a little
help, though, do you boys mind?"

	"I help out my mom all the time in the kitchen!" Taylor bounced. "I
can make a salad or something!"
	"Sounds good. Tyson, you can help me chop vegetables." Mom got up
from her garden and began dusting herself off. "Actually, first make sure
they are able to come over."

	"OKAY!" I bolted inside and to the phone. I quickly dialed
Nikolai's phone number and waited for someone to answer. The moment the
ring got interrupted I yelled into the phone. "HELLO!?"

	It sounded like someone dropped the phone. "The hell man!" Nikolai
criticized me. "You nearly deafened me. What can I do for Senior Loud
Mouth?"

	I rolled my eyes. "What are your family's dinner plans?"

	"I don't know, one sec. Mom what's for dinner?... Tyson's
wondering... I'll ask. Mom want's to know why you wanna know."

	"Dad wants to invite you over for dinner. I told him we're dating
and so he wants you guys over."

	Nikolai seemed to go quiet. "Did he take it well?"

	"Yes! Now are you able to come over for dinner?" The line went
silent for a second.

	I heard his mom say something before Nikolai spoke again. "Yes, we
are, what time is dinner?"

	"6 pm on the dot! See you then!"

	"Before then, proper etiquette and all. See ya then." Nikolai hung
up the phone. I'm having them over for dinner! This is going to be awesome!

	Both my parents are fine with me being gay. Zach is gay, so I mean
it's no surprise but still. It was a scary feeling but now all that is
over. Nikolai and I are together, and I couldn't be happier.


Mattieu's POV

	"Tell me about Anthony." Blake and I were sitting under a tree
together. We were just hanging out on a nice sunny spring day. It was a
beautiful day for sunbathing.

	Blake shrugged. "Lucas hung out with him a lot more than I did. He
knows more about Anthony than I do. They would always hang out and ignore
me." Blake smiled and leaned into my shoulder. "What's with the random
interest in my cousin."

	"I never knew much about him." And I helped screw up his life a
little more, but you know.

	Blake sighed. "Stop feeling bad about it. Think of something that
makes you happy now, instead of dwelling on the past." What do I have to be
happy about right now? "You have a new puppy at home; that's happy news."

	Ya, I guess he's right. I do have a puppy at home now. I also have
amazing little brothers and loving parents. Graduation is just around the
corner, and then it's off to the races.

	"Wow, I have a lot of things going for me right now..."

	"Ya see!? So why are you dragging your ass? Pick up the pace and
sprint!" Blake jumped up took a few steps forward before turning
around. "Come on, get up and run!"

	I just shook my head and got up and chased after him. Blake had
stamina, but no speed, I'm the opposite. So to catch him was pretty easy
for me. Before I knew it, we were both on the ground laughing at who knows
what.
	Blake really knows how to change the mood in the room. I went from
being down in the dumps to now laughing and rolling around on the ground. A
complete 180 happened to my attitude, and it's thanks to him.

	We just laid on the grass smiling at each other. "Hey... Mattieu?"

	"Oui?"

	"I don't want to sound sappy, and I know I'm only 14, but I really
feel it. I love you Mattieu." We stared into each other's eyes for who
knows how long. Both of us had smiles on our faces.

	"Je t'aime aussi, Blake" and I planted my lips onto his. We lay in
the grass while playing tonsil hockey. It was an amazing experience. I
would never have imagined feeling this way about another guy. "Tu es
incroyable."

	"You're amazing too Mattieu, don't forget that."

	I don't think I could if I tried.

	This actually turned out to be a decent length. I thought it was
going to turn out a little shorter than most chapters, it did but not as
short as I thought.

Oh, wait! Lucas Trivia first.

	Lucas was probably the only character I knew what his major story
arc was before going into it. I knew Isaac and Kale would break up, and who
he'd be with, but I wasn't sure on how I was going to do it. Lucas, I knew
what I was going to do.

	Nick was actually planned to go sleeping around with other
guys. Lexen Soul was created for that purpose, but I couldn't bring myself
to making Nick a slut for everyone. And he was going to sleep with Jayce,
just saying.

	Lucas was different. I knew he was going to come back. I knew his
step-sister was going to cause problems. I knew he would start counseling
with his dad. I knew how I was going to write Lucas. It turns out everyone
else turned out pretty okay too.

	It's no trivia, but next chapter has major news. Yes more major
than Nikolai's Life Expectations.
