LIL BROS
CHAPTETR 20

Getting released from the hospital wasn't hard, though Michael did
have a headache, he was just glad to be out. Sam was there to drive him
back to his hotel, since Scott was with Cory and Derrick. The doctor had
given Michael a small bag of Ibuprofen to take should his headache get
worse. The doctor also told him that he should take it easy, and jot to
drive, or do anything strenuous for at least a week. Hearing that Michael
almost flipped out. Sam put a restraining hand on his shoulders and just
smiled. "Relax Michael, both Judge North and the state police have made
arrangements to get you all home."

"I feel me on helpless right now, I should be looking after my brother and
I am not, what does that make me?"

"It makes you a young man that has been hurt and can't do anything about
it." Sam said.

"I could have been watching what was going on, but no, I just wanted to get
out of there."

"Michael Caine, you are only human, you are not at fault for what that man
did, sure you wanted out of there, Scott and the boys were ahead of you,
and you were paying attention to them, which is how it should have been."

"Still..."

When Michael and Sam entered the hotel room Cory ran and jumped
into his brothers arms. "You okay daddy?" He asked as he hugged Michael
tight.

"I am fine, just a little headache." Michael lied.

"I missed you lots." Cory cried.

"Shhh, I missed you also, but I am here now, and we will have fun before we
go home. How would you like to go to Houston and visit the Six Flags
amusement park?" Michael asked.

"You mean it, we can go there, is it like Disneyland, can we get a T-shirt
for Derrick?" Cory asked all in one breath which caused Sam to chuckle.

"Not a good brother Michael?" Sam asked before continuing. "No one can ever
say you don't love your brother, and you spoil him. I will tell the FBI
what you're planning. Now you get some rest and I will see you in the
morning. The rest of the night the boys curled up on the beds and watched
TV. Cory was snuggled tight to Michael while Derrick had curled up beside
Scott. Soon both the little guys were sleeping. Michael looked over and
smiled at Scott. "You make a good dad, buddy." Michael said with a chuckle.

"Not as good as you do, besides I like being an uncle to these two. They
are special." Scott whispered.

"That they are, and I would surely die if something happened to either of
them.

At ten Michael sent the young ones off to shower and switched the channel
to the news. The news was just starting so Michael was able to catch the
whole thing. The first story was of a shooting in New York. The lead in
stated that the man was at home when his ex-wife knocked and then shot him
before turning the gun on herself. The woman was in serious but stable
condition. What shocked both Scott and Michael was the picture they showed
of the woman. It was Derrick's mother. "What are we going to do?" Scott
asked. "We have to tell him."

"I don't know, Sam might, but then I don't want to call him right now,
besides I am comfortable." Michael said as he leaned over and kissed Scott.

"So am I." Scott grinned just as the two boys came running out of the
shower and jumped on the other bed. Sliding under the blankets the two
curled up together and were soon sound asleep. Michael got up and turning
the T.V. off and headed for the shower soon followed by Scott.

For the four the night went by slowly and each woke up refreshed
and ready to start the day. Michael took a couple of Ibuprofen before
leading everyone down to the restaurant. As the boys waited for their meals
Michael went into the lobby and called Sam and told him what he had heard
and who it was. "Sam I have her son with us and I don't know how to tell
him what has happened." Michael said in frustration before continuing. "Sam
I still think we should go to Six Flags, I want him to be happy for a bit,
this is going to really hurt him."

"I know Michael, so you do what you think is best, in the mean time I will
contact New York and see what I can learn."

"Thanks Sam, you would be a great Dad." Michael laughed as he hung up.

After everyone had finished eating, they went back to their room,
where they packed up stuff and then checked out. It was a three hour drive
to Houston and Michael let Scott do the driving since he wasn't
allowed. Derrick and Cory were tuned out with their earphones hooked into
Cory's IPad. They had been on the road for just over an hour when Sam
called back. "Michael you were right. The woman's name was Hannah Alston."

"What about the man she shot, was it the father?" Michael asked.

"Yes Ryan Alston. He had a lengthy record for assaults and child abuse."
Sam answered.

"That part I didn't need to hear, but it does make thing clearer for
me. What about relatives?"

"I am looking into that now. Michael if you want I can call Judge Montoya
and have him give you temporary custody, that way you are covered and
Derrick is safe."

"Please do that, have him fax the papers to our hotel in Houston. I already
have a letter to cover his medical if he needs it."

"Okay brat, I'll do that, I'll even phone Judge North."

"Sure, do what you think is best, now I have to figure out how to let the
little guy know."

"Not an easy task Michael, there is going to be a lot of tears and anger,
maybe even a bit of withdrawing into himself. If that happens, all you can
do is be there for him, let him know that he is still loved and wanted."

"I'll do my best Sam. Do you think it would be good to have the others with
me when we talk?"

"That might be a good idea, especially Cory, since he gets along with him."

"Okay Sam, I will call you back if I have troubles, I know there will be
some, but hopefully nothing Scott or I can't handle."

At one when the boys pulled into the hotel and were signing in when the
manager came out and handed Michael a large brown envelope. Knowing what
was inside, Michael just put it into his suitcase before heading up to
their suite. As Michael and Scott were putting things away Cory turned on
the T.V. not really paying close attention to what was on Michael was
startled when he heard Derrick screaming.

Looking over at where the two boys were Michael saw Derrick being held by
Cory. Walking over both Scott and Michael sat on the end of the bed and
waited. When Derrick looked at them all he could do was cry more.

Scott reached out and slowly drew the crying boy to him and not saying
anything just held him as Cory scooted closer to his friend. "Uncle Scott,
that story can't be true right?" Cory sadly asked.

"Yes Cory it is true. Your dad was going to talk with Derrick about it, I
am sorry that he had to find out this way. "Scott said as he reached out to
draw Cory closer to them."

"We gonna help him right, we gotta, he's my best friend."

"Son, we will help him, don't you worry in fact I already have started."
Michael said before continuing. "Right now Derrick is going to be with us,
at least until Sam can find some relatives."

"Why can't we keep him, he could be my brother."

"Well it isn't that easy, but don't worry."

Derrick had left Scott's lap and lay out on the bed holding onto himself
and sobbing. There was nothing the boys could say right now so they left
him alone. Scott called down and ordered a late lunch for everyone, but in
the end everyone just nibbled on their food. "Derrick." Michael called
out. "I want you to know that none of this is your fault, also know that we
are here for you and that we all care a lot. If you need any of us you just
come and talk."

"Thanks Uncle Michael. Can you tell me what happened, I mean I heard it,
but it seems un-real?"

"I don't know it all buddy, so I can't say much. Did your mother ever say
she was going to go back to New York?

"No, all she ever did lately, was yell at me."

"Okay, what about grandparents do you have any?"

"Yeah, but they don't like me, least my dad's parents don't, I never met my
other grandparents. I know they are all old."

"What about an aunt of uncle?"

"Uh huh, mom has a sister and dad has a brother, but I think he's in jail
or something. My aunt lives in Florida somewhere."

"Great, can I tell Sam all this, maybe he can get us all some answers."

"Why can't I just stay with you?" Derrick cried.

"We have to wait to see what Sam comes up with, but I promise you this for
now you will be staying with us.

"Are we still gonna go to six flags?" Derrick asked.

"You bet we are, it will do us all some good to have some fun, don't you
think?"

"Uh huh, can we ride some roller coasters?"

"Yes, you Cory and Scott can do that, the doctor said I had to take it
easy. I promise you this though little buddy, I will go on some rides with
you."

"Okay. I love you Uncle Michael."

"I love you too Derrick, now let's try and eat something. I know you don't
feel like it, but you need to keep your strength up, especially if you're
going to wrestle with Cory." Michael said with a laugh as Derrick and Cory
piled onto him.

The four boys had a light lunch, then Cory, Derrick and Scott
headed off to the pool leaving Michael to make his calls and rest. His
first call was to Joseph Littlebear. That call lasted for thirty
minutes. Michael found out that Brookmeir had been terminated and that the
man that had hit him had pled guilty to assault with a weapon been given a
five year prison term. Joseph also told Michael that moving his head office
from San Antonio to Naples wouldn't be in his best interest, however he did
say that setting up a corporate office that over saw everything
would. Hearing that made it easier for Michael, as he had been worrying
over such a move ever since he had read the reports from his staff. His
next call was to Naples, where he spoke to his lawyer about his office
there. "Michael, the only place that I can find is a twenty thousand square
foot building, the owner wants three quarters of a million, but there is a
lot of renovations to be done and that could run you twice what it is
worth." His lawyer said.

"What if we bought it, but he had to do the Reno's?"

"I can ask, maybe make it part of the deal."

"You can tell him if he goes with it, I'll pay an even million for it."
Michael stated.

"I'll do that, when will you be back home

"Well we're spending a week at six flags then three days to drive home, so
say ten days to be safe. Also see if I can get full custody of Derrick Ian
Alston, from what I have learned his mother is going to jail for murder, he
says he has an aunt somewhere in Florida, an uncle he thinks is in jail and
that his grandparents are too old or don't like him. I know this sound like
a mess, but I don't want to see him in a home like Cory or Tommy were."

"I will talk with Judge Montoya right after this call. I know that he likes
you and think you are just what Cory needed, so I don't think he will deny
you."

After the calls were done, Michael laid out on one of the bed and
napped. He was still sleeping when the boys came back. Derrick seeing
Michael laying there ran over and curled up with him, holding on tight
Derrick just sighed and closed his eyes.

Cory seeing this frowned and turned to Scott. He was about to say
something when Scott shook his head and led Cory out onto the
balcony. "Cory, I know you are worried, and maybe you feel a bit left out,
but don't. What you have to understand is the right now Derrick needs
Michael, just like you did when you were sick. What Derrick needs right now
is someone who was is going to be there for him and right now that is
Michael and us. So what I would suggest is that maybe you curl up beside
him and show him you're still his friend. While you are doing that I will
hang our suits up and then read. Later we can go downstairs for dinner. How
does that sound to you?"

"I can do that, and unca Scott I am sorry."

"No need to be sorry, it is a normal feeling you were having."

"I hope I get to be as smart as you are." Cory said with a smile as he gave
a big hug.

"You will probably be smarter than me." Scott said with a laugh and hugged
Cory back. "Now scoot."

The next morning the four boys boarded a bus to the six flags
park. The ride took a while, but both the little ones were so excited that
to them it was over quickly. With Cory pulling Michael's hand and Derrick
yanking on Scott it looked like two puppies trying to break their
leashes. Michael bought a week long pass for the four of them and then they
all headed inside. The first stop Cory wanted was the souvenir shop where
he found at-shirt for both Derrick and himself. Taking them over to Michael
he smiled. "Daddy can you buy these please." Cory asked with a smile.

"Sure, but do you need two?" Michael asked.

"No, one's for Derrick."

"Oh, I think that is a wonderful gesture."

"Daddy, I know he don't got lots of money, so please?"

"Yes son, we will buy one for him also."

"Goody, can I give it to him?"

"Of course, it was your idea. I think he will love it coming from you."

Scott had been watching Derrick while Michael and Cory were busy at
the till. As soon as the bill had been paid Cory took one of the t-shirts
and put it on the grabbing the other walked over to Derrick. Smiling at his
best friend he held the shirt out to him. "This is for the best friend
ever, I want you to have it Derrick." Cory said with a small blush in his
cheeks.

"I can't take that, it cost lots." Derrick said with a frown.

"You don't have to buy it, daddy already did. Derrick we all love you like
a brother. You my bestie and I wanted you to have it, besides if you wear
it we become twins almost."

Laughing at that thought, Derrick slipped the t-shirt on and then
started to cry as he grabbed Cory and hugged him tightly. "You are the best
friend ever. I love you Cory."

(Didn't see that coming did you)

Smiling Cory hugged Derrick back a small tear in his eyes. "I love you too
Derrick, and your my bestie forever. Now let's have fun, let's make Uncle
Scott green from all the rides." Cory said with a laugh.

"Oh man that is going to be fun. Derrick said as he took both Cory's and
Scott's hand.

For two days Michael sat and watched the three having fun. Every
time he looked at Derrick, he thought about what the little guy was going
through, having lost not only his family, but also his adopted brother
Tommy. Watching the two boys together, Michael vowed that nothing and
nobody was ever going hurt the two, not if he could help it.

The boys had just entered the park for the third day when Michael
noticed that a few people were watching the boys. Michael had seen them the
first two days, but thought nothing about it. Grabbing his phone he quickly
called Sam and asked for Liam's phone number. After getting it Michael hung
up and dialed Liam's number. "Liam Watson, how may I help you?" Liam
answered.

"Mr. Watson, this is Michael Caine, tell me do you have three guys and a
woman watching my family and I?" Michael asked.

"No, we know where you are, why?"

"I think there is going to be some trouble, can you send a bunch of people
to the park. I will get my brothers and friend together and we will meet
you at the food court."

"Michael, I can't do that without a good reason."

"Listen Watson, I have some people who have been watching us for the last
three days, at first I just thought they were enjoying the park, but now
for the third day they are here and I have seen them watching us,
especially my little brother and his friend, if that isn't enough then I
will deal with it myself, and when it is done I will file a complaint
against you and your office." Michael snapped as he stood and started
walking to where the three boys were.

"Okay I will send a few people to you, but this had better be for real, or
I will have your ass in jail.

"Listen you jerk I don't make false calls." Michael yelled as he hung up.

Calling Sam back, Michael told him what was happening and just what
Watson had said. Michael also told Sam that he was going to get the boys
and head over to the food court, but if the people followed them he was
going to deal with it.

"Michael, don't do something foolish." Sam said.

"Sam, I will not have another Tommy. No one is going to hurt those two
boys. Do I make myself clear?"

"Very clear, but let Liam get his people to you, if they are not there in
ten minutes call me back."

"Fine, but Sam I am asking for help and all I am getting is screwed. I
thought you at least would care."

"Michael I do, and I will accept that statement under the fact that you are
scared."

"You're damn?. CORY, DERRICK GET DOWN." Michael yelled dropping his phone
into his jacket pocket and running fast towards the group that was stalking
the three.

Cory and Derrick froze, while Scott turned to look at what Michael was
yelling at. Seeing the people following them Scott quickly pulled the two
boys behind him. "Stay there guys." Scott whispered. The boys knowing that
Scott wouldn't say something that was wrong, did what he said.

Michael was too far away to stop anything from happening, but he
was not going to stop from trying. Running faster Michael was just about to
the group when he heard the short heavy man talking. "Well, well looks like
I finally have you brats. Tell me where is the fourth one, where is Michael
Caine? He is the one I really want." The fat man laughed.

"Why, what do you want him for?" Scott asked, seeing Michael running
towards them all.

"It's really simple kid, I my job back, and I want him to pay."

"Well that isn't going to happen, you think we are here alone, the FBI have
been following us since we left Naples, and then there is the Houston
police, and oh yeah the SCU, each have people following us." Scott lied.

"You're funny, my friends and I have been watching you four since you got
here, hell, we followed you from Naples, I am surprised you didn't see us."

"Who said we didn't, and who said we didn't let the police know you were
there?" Scott said with a straight face, though he was lying.

Michael was mad, his brother and boyfriend were in danger and all because
some idiot lost his job. Getting closer to the group Michael just smiled at
Scott and stood behind the fat man. "So Mr. whoever you are, you think you
are going to scare me. Scott, take Cory and Derrick over to the food court,
Liam should be there by now, if he isn't phone Sam and tear his ear off."
Michael said.

"Listen kid, no one is going anywhere."

"That is where you're wrong. Go now Scott. As for you Mr. you and your
friends here have to go through me to get to them and I swear I will hurt
you all if you try."

"You kid, why you're so skinny a rat would be able to beat you." One of the
others said with a smirk on his face.

"Try me."

"Why don't we just shoot him?' another asked.

"Shut up both of you. I think we made a mistake here kid, why don't we
forget this whole thing." The fat man said with a forced smile.

"Mr. I can't forget it, you tried to hurt my friends and family, just
because you were pissed off. I would say that right now you are looking at
attempted kidnapping, conspiracy to commit assault and child abuse. I am
will tell you this I will make those charges stick."

"I don't think so, who is going to believe you?" the first man spoke up
moving slowly towards Michael.

"Oh the police will, since there are witnesses to all this. Mr. If you move
another step I will not be responsible for what happens." Michael snapped.

"Let's get out of here." The fat man stated. "I don't want to be involved
with the police."

"I guess it is too late for that." Watson said as he came up behind
Michael, followed by Scott and a few other men.

"Scott where are the boys?" Michael asked.

"They're with another agent at the food court." Scott answered. "I had to
show Mr. Watson here where you were."

"Fine go back and stay with them please. I will join you soon."

"Better hurry, Cory is hungry and wants to eat."

"Get him something and tell him I will be there." Michael said as he gave
Scott a bunch of money.

An hour later Michael joined everyone at their table, Liam was with him
trying to apologize but failing badly. "Listen Watson, you may be a good
agent, but you screwed up here and I will not let it go."

"I know you won't, but I honestly thought you were joking, that is until
Agent Johnson phoned me. I can't make up for my mistake and I won't even
try to. All I can do is be more vigilant and do my duty as ordered by Judge
Montoya. I should have been with you and your family when you came here. I
failed so please accept my apology."

"You're right you failed, and it could have cost someone a life, and if it
had been Cory, Derrick or Scott I would have hurt you so bad that you would
never heal. Now get the hell out of my face. I will call Sam and see if he
can get me some people." Michael yelled.

Michael's call to Sam didn't go any better, but Sam did promise to
have some security in place as soon as it was possible."

"Sam I don't care what you have to do, but I want the best, no more FBI or
people who take government paychecks."

"I will see what is out there Michael. Can you please give me a few hours
at least?"

"Two hours Sam, then I will make some calls that put a lot of peoples arse
in a sling."

After calming down some, the four boys went back to the riders and
games, forgetting all that had happened so far. Michael's headache was
back, but he wasn't going to let that interrupt the fun that he had
promised Derrick and Cory.

For Sam, Michael's call had come as a bit of surprise. He knew that
Liam didn't like the idea of having to watch over Michael and his family,
he also know that the Florida FBI office wasn't too happy with Judge
Montoya for ordering it, but it was on paper and it was a court order so
they had to abide by it. After hanging up from Michael Sam sat back and
stared at the ceiling for a minute. "Liza can you come into my office
please?" Sam called out.

"Sure, let me close out the computer here." Liza said. "You want me to
bring us some coffees?"

"I think you better, and bring the Algraves file, the one with everyone
that was involved in the Darkling case."

"Damn it Sam I thought that case was closed, why do you want to see it
again?"

"It is closed, Fabler and all his partners are doing life plus. No I want
the names of the team that Algrave had with him."

"Oh, you mean Lightfingers, the Sarge and Pvt. Morgan?"

"Yes and how did you remember everyone, heck I have trouble remembering the
time of day?"

"It's easy, especially since Morgan almost got shot when he walked into
Erik's office."

"Okay, do you remember Algraves first name and how we can get a hold of
him?"

"Jamie and he and his dad are down in Brownsville right now, they are
setting up the dad's new home."

"Okay call him and see if he is interested in getting his team back
together and doing another babysitting job."

"You have to be joking Sam. Who is it this Time?

"Michael Caine and his family, well his two little brothers and his
partner."

"And just where are these people?"

"Right now, they are at Six Flags in Houston, they had FBI, but those
idiots almost cost Michael his brother's lives."

"Oh shit, okay I will call Jamie and see what he has to say."

"If you need to, tell him that I will have the Marshal's jet pick them
up. That is if they are all together, if not tell him that his flight is
free."

John Algraves hated moving, especially since he was in his sixties
and retired, well semi-retired now since Erik Darkling had offered him the
position as CEO of Darkling Enterprises. (Fabler's Fall a book to
come). His son Jamie was busy helping him set up his front room after
making sure that everything for the bedrooms were in place. The smell of
fresh ground coffee still lingered in the air. And Jamie had just gotten
the last painting of his mother hung when his cell phone started to
play. "Algraves here. What can I do for you?" Jamie answered with a frown.

"Jamie, this is Sam Johnson. I have a job for you and your friends."

"Sam the last job we did with you almost cost a man his life, Private
Morgan is still shaking from that sometimes."

"I bet, but this one should be easy, it is just watching four boys, two are
sixteen, the other two are nine I think."

"Well that should be easy, how long will this job last?"

"Probably a week no more than two."

"I will think about it and get back to you, I will also call the others and
see what they have to say. I make you no promises."

"Thanks, I will have the Marshal's jet waiting for you if you decide to
take this on."

Oh and where are these boys right now?"

"Houston, they are staying at the Caine towers and having fun at Six
Flags."

"Damn must be nice to be able to have fun." Jamie laughed. "Alright I will
call and see what is up with the others, give me a half hour."

For Carl Lighfingers and Alex Morgan their days had been in
training and running around the base where they were stationed. The two
were bored. The experience with Erik Darkling had left them wanting more
work like that, but since both still had two years left in their service
they couldn't do anything.

The pair had just sat down for dinner and were enjoying a beer when
the base commander walked in. Seeing the pair sitting in the back he walked
over and waved his hand when the two started to stand. "Stay seated." He
said with a grin. "I don't know what you two were doing on your last
assignment, and I really don't want to know, however you seem to have made
some friends that have some pull."

"I don't understand sir." Alex said.

"Well it seems like I have to let you both go back to whatever it was you
were doing. I just received a call from Captain Algraves asking for you
both to fly to Houston right away."

"Houston?" both men said skeptically.

"Yes Houston, once there you are to go to Caine Towers where you will be
met by Captain Algraves and Sgt. Yun."

"When do we leave sir?" Alex asked.

"As soon as you have had dinner, there will be a helicopter waiting for
you, oh and you are to have side arms only."

Once the base commander had left the two sat and stared at the beer in
front of them. "Carl, what the hell has Algraves gotten us into this time?"
Alex asked with a smile playing on his lips.

"I don't know, but it probably will beat the training and running around
here that we are doing."

"Probably another babysitting jobs, if I know the Captain."

"True, but heck the last one worked out alright."

"For you maybe, you only had to stared down Erik's pistol once, I had it
twice and both times scared the crap out of me."

"I wouldn't doubt it, but let's wait and see." Carl was going to say more
when his phone twanged. Lightfingers here what's up Captain?" Carl asked
while laughing.

"Another job for us from SCU, and before you ask yes it is watching some
children."

"Okay now that is funny, because both Alex and I were saying that it was
another babysitting job."

"Yes four boys ages nine and sixteen. I want you there tonight, Yun and I
will meet you in the morning."

"Oh great, saddle us with the nightshift." Carl laughed then hung up. "Pack
your bags buddy we are off to Houston. And a very posh hotel from what I
hear."

"Well it is better than what we had at Darkling's"

Dinner finished, the two men packed what they would need for their next two
weeks before heading over the hanger where the helicopter was ting for
them. "Gentlemen, we have been given permission to land on top of Caine
towers." The pilot radioed back to them.

"Where did that come from, I doubt even Johnson has that sort of pull?
"Alex asked.

"Beats looking for a car, or even walking." Carl laughed. "Besides we have
our side arms, we don't need the questions right now."

"How soon captain before we land?" Alex asked as he stared out the side
window.

"About an hour, depends on wind."

"Well give us a smooth ride, I want to sleep." Carl said.

"Not a chance Lt. These birds make too much noise."

"They always have..."

"Lt. Message just came in, you have to be in the hotel ASAP, VP is in bound
to meet with someone there."

"Then I suggest you give this bird more juice." Carl grinned before looking
at Alex.

"Damn screwed pooch again, didn't the Captain know this was happening?"
Alex cursed.

"I doubt even Johnson knew, sounds like the basic cya."

"Well when we land call Jamie and find out, I hate surprises."

"More so since Brownsville, what a mess that was. It is still a mess
though, since they still haven't found the shooter of that German agent."

"Doubt they will, I think that was a hit against them."

"Then why shot into Erik's office, no Carl whoever it was, they wanted
Erik, but that kid got lucky."

"We may never know."

"Five minutes guys." The pilot yelled back. "Security is right so we don't
have a lot of time, we touch down you get out and we're gone."

"Okay, do you best, and good luck."

"Just do whatever your job is guys and get home safe."

"That what we plan on sir." Alex said with a laugh before exiting the
chopper. Only to be met by the Secret Service. "Hi guys, what is happening
here?" Alex asked as he stared at the men standing before him.

"What are you people doing landing here, this is a restricted area." One
agent said.

"Well how about the fact that we are doing what we are ordered to. Now we
both know that the Vice president is here, doing what we don't know and we
don't want to know." Carl stated firmly. "And our orders came from SCU. So
please stand aside and let us get out of this guy's way so he can get out
of here."

Leaving the men standing there, both Alex and Carl grabbed their
bags and headed towards the stairs. Neither of them talking, but both had
worried expressions on their faces.

Making it to the lobby the two men were greeted my more agents and the
hotel clerk. "Gentlemen." The clerk started to say when the elevator bell
rang and Michael stepped off. Walking over to the groups he stood and
stared at Lightfingers for a second before turning to the clerk. "These two
men have the room next to mine. Make sure that it is ready for them in ten
minutes, and send them up something to eat, they look rather skinny."
Michael laughed as he turned to Morgan. "Are you the two from Johnson?"

"Yes we are, who are you?" Lightfingers asked.

"I am Michael Caine, where is the rest of your team, I was told to expect
four of you?" Michael asked.

"They will be here in the morning." Lightfingers said with a slight grin.

Michael was about to say something more when the fire alarms went
off. Racing to the elevator Michael hit the button to his floor, the
elevator was going up when it stopped with a jolt between floors trapping
Michael.
