CHAPTER  FOURTEEN
LIVING IN A LIE

The woman stormed down the aisle of the church towards the bridal party,
fury written all over her face. Everyone else looked on in stunned silence
wondering what on earth was going on.  As for poor Eddie he had no idea
what was happening and looked close to passing out.

"This man standing here is my husband and has no right to marry anyone..."
She stopped in mid-sentence staring at Eddie before declaring, "You're not
my husband. Oh dear I think I'm in the wrong church." And after those words
she stormed back out of the church leaving every one speechless.

It was the priest who finally realised what had happened and began the
wedding ceremony again, this time everything went off smoothly. There were
a few tears when Geoff produced the rings. When they thought no one was
looking Jordon and him also exchanged rings but everyone noticed.  Their
parents, Jennifer and Geoff's mom and dad had tears rolling down their
cheeks as the boys mouthed the same words as the bride and groom.

The only part of the ceremony the boys couldn't take part in was when the
priest announced, "You may kiss the bride." And neither of the boys was
game to do that in a crowded church. Finally it was all over and everyone
headed off to the church hall where caterers had set up the hall for the
reception.

When the bridal party emerged from the church they were pleased to see that
the anti-gay protesters had left.  One thing that worried Damien was that
the woman who interrupted the service got past security without any
problems. He remarked to Bentley that he would have to check on that after
the reception.

The top table had both families, although since Eddie's parents were dead
he did have an aunt and uncle there. The two boys sat next to each other
with Geoff just a little bit nervous because as best man he had to make a
speech. Jordon and he held hands under the table during the meal and Jordon
gave him a subtle hug before he rose to make his speech.

"While I haven't known Eddie and Veronica for long I have noticed how much
they are in love with each other.  Both Jordon and I are certain this will
be a happy marriage. I'm still wondering and just a little bit worried
about the lady who came into the church earlier. I hope she found her
husband before it was too late." This remark brought a lot of laughter into
the proceedings as Geoff continued with his speech, "A lot has happened not
only to the bride and groom but to the family as a whole.  I count myself
being Jordon's partner as part of that family and let's not forget our
extended family of Damien and Bentley who are here today, along with Miles
and Keith miles who are away in Texas but who send their apologies and best
wishes to you both.

We are one big family and hopefully this happy event today will mean more
happiness for this great group of people from now on. To my own parents I
say thank you for introducing me to Jordon and his wonderful family, it's
changed my life for ever.

I don't want to take anything away from the bride and groom with my next
remarks but several people have commented so, I along with Jordon would
like to make a statement." He held out his hand for Jordon to stand by his
side and hang on to him while he said, "Yes, we did commit ourselves to
each other during the ceremony today and did exchange rings sealing our
relationship together.

Some will approve, some will not and really we don't care. Jordon and I
love each other and intend to remain together for life, that was the
commitment we made today." With that he reached across kissing his partner
gently on the lips before continuing, "Enough about us.  What I would like
to do now is propose just one toast so that we can get on with the
festivities. Ladies and gentlemen raise your glasses and drink to the Bride
and Groom, the bridesmaids, the bride's mother and our extended family."
Everyone drank a toast and then applauded Geoff as he sat down.

Jordon put his arm around his lover saying, "That was beautiful gorgeous, I
never realised you had the gift of making speeches like that." Geoff smiled
and they quickly kissed each other on the lips again hoping not too many
were looking.

The DJ started playing music for dancing with the bride and groom getting
up and dancing first.  By tradition the best man danced with the Maid of
Honor and the groomsman danced with the bridesmaid.  So Jordon finished up
with Betsy, "that was a lovely speech you're boyfriend made." She remarked.
Jordon thanked her for the compliment and then she continued talking, "That
was wonderful the way you both exchanged rings and I cried thinking that
all my life I'd been hoping it would have been me."

Before Jordon could answer his mother cut in and danced him away round the
dance floor, "So you're officially together with Geoff?"

"Yes mom, we hope you don't mind us not telling you but we wanted to keep
it just between the two of us."

"No I don't mind but where did you get the money to pay for the rings?" she
asked.

Jordon went a bit red in the face before telling his mother what happened,
"Well when we start working our first pay check will go to Damien because
he picked them up cheap for us in Toronto and was the only person who knew.
Not even Bentley had any idea."

Jennifer laughed just as Geoff came up asking if he could dance with her
son. Talking his lover in his arms.  Because it was a slow dance they began
to slowly dance around the floor not caring and ignoring the odd stares
they were getting. Jordon put his arms around his lover drawing him closer,
his face on his chest as the slowly continued to dance. Several people took
pictures of them but they didn't have a care in the world.

When the music changed to something faster they reluctantly pulled apart
and began dancing again all the while looking into each other's eyes.
Damien and Bentley were watching the boys with love for the pair flowing
out of them.  Of course Bentley as usual had tears in his eyes.

Damien turned to him and said, "Come on if the boys can dance together so
can we." And they joined the throng on the dance floor totally ignoring the
stares just as the boys had. Jennifer was dancing with Geoff's father and
she also remarked how wonderful the boys looked together, with George
agreeing wholeheartedly with her.

Meanwhile Geoff's mother Martha was chatting to Veronica as she took time
out from dancing and they were on the same subject, "I hope those two boys
don't go around too much in public carrying on like that, otherwise there
could be more trouble and that's the last thing we want right now."

"That's right Martha let's just hope life settles down a bit now, although
I doubt it somehow."

Not long after all these conversations it was time to open the presents
which Veronica did helped by her bridesmaids.  Then came the cake
cutting. Once that was over the bride and groom slipped away to get changed
before coming back to say goodbye to everyone. Then came the throwing of
the bouquet which was caught by Betsy bringing a lot of laughter from the
guests and blushing from her new boyfriend.

Once the bride and groom had left for their honeymoon which was a few days
back in Port Hope everyone began to pack up and leave, with the family
being the last to go. The two boys travelled with Damien and Bentley in
their rental because their mother's car was loaded with all the gifts.

On the way Damien raised the subject of dancing in public and things like
that, "I'm not condemning the way you guys carried on today, after all it
was a special day for the two of you as well as for Veronica and Eddie But
please take care on how you act in public.  I've have mentioned this time
and time again and can't emphasis enough how important it is not to flaunt
your sexuality in public, especially in a place like this were people just
don't understand."

"Sorry Damien, we both got carried away a bit today as you say because of
the exchanging of rings and declaring our love for each other. We do try
not to do anything like that in public if we can help it.  But I must admit
it was wonderful dancing with my lover and you two looked like you were
having fun together as well."

Damien and Bentley both laughed but agreed they didn't get the opportunity
to dance together very often. "Don't forget boys when we get home no matter
how late it is we have milking and other chores to do." Both boys groaned
hating to have to be reminded of the inevitable tasks which being a farmer
entailed.

Miles and Keith were settling down to married life together and Keith's
promotion while demanding at times was proving to be an asset finance
wise. Both of their mothers had also resigned themselves to having given
birth to two homosexuals and were happy that they were making a good life
together.

The only thorn in their side right now was the local pastor of the church
which their mother's both attended. He is totally against gays and raised
the subject in his sermons as often as he could. This effect had some of
the congregation turning against the guys mothers which distressed them no
end.

At least once a week they had dinner with the boys and on one occasion
raised this very subject with the pair of them, "What are we to do, we are
being shunned by our own church just because of how you boys were created?"
Miles mother said.

After Keith's mom agreed, Miles said, "I believe mom that we should come to
church with you on Sunday and show our support for you.  If he decides to
say something during the service or tells us we are not wanted then we will
have to do something about it.  Like standing up and facing him and the
rest of those bigots explaining that god created us like this and nothing
can change us."

Keith mom spoke up, `Would you do that for us boys and support us?"

"Of course we would." Keith replied, "and if that doesn't work think about
changing churches. Let's face it mom, if they are as narrow minded as that
then there is not much Christian faith in that church and congregation
anyway." This pleased their mom's and arrangements were made for them to
attend church the following Sunday.

Martha's going home from hospital after his heart attack was a big event
for both him and Fred. Some alterations had been made to their home while
he was recovering in hospital including ramps replacing steps and other
little ideas to put less strain on Martha's heart.

Before they left the hospital the doctor looking after Martha took them
into his office warning them that they must be very careful with their love
making, stressing that no sex would be best.  He told Fred to be very

Once Martha was wheeled out of the hospital and placed in Fred's car it was

Once home Fred produced the new wheelchair he had bought for his lover and

first meal together in quite a while.

"This is better than hospital food." Martha quipped and Fred had even given
him a glass of red wine which according to his doctor was in order for
heart attack patients.  After the meal they chatted, catching up on a lot
of news which Fred hadn't discussed in hospital. Martha then began to show
signs of tiring so Fred took him back into the bedroom to undress and to
put his lover into the shower.

True to their word Miles and Keith picked up their mothers on the next
Sunday, took them to church and as promised went inside with them.  Both
mom's walked in first, side by side to sit at their usual seats but making
room for their sons who followed them in, walking down the aisle shoulder
to shoulder. They could hear a few GASPS and a lot of muttering as they
walked down the aisle.  Both of them thought of holding hands but decided
not to push their luck too far.

They sat down together beside their mothers waiting for the service to
start.  When the Pastor walked out and saw the two guys sitting there he
did a double take before his face became a mask of fury and they knew they
were in for a hard time.

First off they sang a couple of hymns and then some bible readings and all
the time the pastor was staring at Keith and Miles.  If looks could kill
they would be on the way to hell. Finally it was time for the pastor's
sermon. He stood up and walked to the front of the congregation and never
spoke for several minutes gatherings his thoughts.

"Today our sacred place of worship has been desecrated by two of the devils
disciples." He paused waiting for those words to sink in, "The good book
say that to fornicate with each other meaning those of the same sex is an
abomination in the eyes of the Lord, and yet two such fornicators have the
gall and the audacity to sit calmly among us as if they have done no
wrong."

He waited once more for those words to sink in before continuing once
again, "If they think that by coming into our place of worship they can
seek forgiveness from the Lord than they are wrong.  God has no time for
fornicators who defile the body of someone of their own gender. No, I say
we must cast out these evil monsters and all who support them and pray to
the good Lord above that he will forgive us for allowing them to enter our
place of worship."

He walked down the aisle and stood directly next to Miles and Keith who
continued to stare ahead ignoring him completely, "I am telling you to be
gone from this sacred place of worship and go back to the devil explaining
that you have failed to infiltrate the minds of god fearing law abiding
citizens."

That was enough for Miles who stood up with Keith joining him as they
turned to face the rest of the congregation, "This man who claims to be a
man of God is a bigot and a charlatan who reads into the holy bible
whatever he wants you to believe." This remark caused several of the
congregation to begin to protest and the pastor to go as red as a beetroot.

Miles put up his hand for silence before continuing, "Please hear me out
then we will leave you to discuss what has been said here today. Neither I
nor my partner here chose to become homosexuals. No God created us this
way. Homosexuality is not something you catch or decide suddenly to be, no
it the way we were formed by the good lord above when we were born.

Our dear mothers are not to blame, they did nothing wrong while in
childbirth or when bringing us up to be the young men we now have become.
No, we were created this way and as your pastor has told you time and time
again, God's word cannot be questioned.

I can find just as many passages in the bible referring to the way we both
are as you're leader here can find in the opposite.  We are all God's
children, created by him and he loves us all." He paused to take a breath
and several members of the congregation began to mutter and talk among
themselves.

"We won't take up any more of your time but we do ask you to pray and
contemplate on what I have just said and if are unhappy with the bigoted
workings of this church to go out and seek a more friendly and godly place
of worship." With that they both began walking out and their mothers right
away also stood and followed them. They reached the church door and were
surprised to see about another twenty people following them.

The pastor went from red to a deep purple as his anger took control,
"That's right follow the devils workers to eternal damnation, may you all
be consumed by the fires of hell." He was totally out of control as more
and more of his congregation walked out of his church got into their cars
and drove away.

Miles turned to his mother giving her a hug saying, "Sorry mom but it looks
like we have destroyed your church."

"Don't worry son, you opened the eyes of a lot of people who can now see
what a terrible man he is.  We'll find another place of worship, but until
we do we will pray at home."

Miles, smiled at his mother saying, "Come on, Keith and I will treat you
two to a slap up Sunday lunch, our treat for two wonderful mom's."

Back at the farm the next day excitement was running high because the
twins, Timmy and Jimmy were due to arrive at any moment. The two boys were
in class with Jordon's mother tackling maths but finding it hard to
concentrate. The twins would be the first to arrive and be part of the
program so it was a notable event.

While Damian had issued a press release he had told the media that no
cameras would be allowed so that the two young boys could not be
identified. Sadly a group of anti-gay protesters that had gathered at the
gate were most unhappy when security took their pictures for further
identification if problems arose. A small number of media had also joined
the mob at the gate.

It was Bentley who noticed the car coming down the dirt road and yelled to
let everyone know they were coming. At first glance it looked as if the
only occupant in the car was the lady driving but as soon as she brought
the car to a stop at the front door, two cheeky smiling faces appeared from
under a blanket on the back seat.

They were quickly hustled into the house so that no one at the gate could
see them and it was hugs all around as they were made welcome. Both of them
were all smiles and running around obviously so happy to be there.  Bentley
had snacks ready for everyone.  The lady from the church organization that
brought the boys went into the office with Damien and quickly completed all
the paperwork needed to make the transition legal.

After saying her goodbyes to the twins she headed off and everyone sat
around the table in the kitchen talking.  Jordon explained to the twins
that they would be staying at the house but may be moved into the barn
accommodation at a later date. They appeared happy with that arrangement
and once the snacks had been devoured the boys took them and their bags up
to their bedroom.

It was four very wide eyes that took in their room.  It had two single
beds, dressing table, walk in closet and the shower and restroom was just
down the hall. The place was spotless and smelled nice and clean thanks to
Bentley who had picked and placed flowers on the table near the window and
also sprayed the room with lavender to make it make it smell nice.

The boys clapped their hands and bounced on the beds before settling down,
helping Jordon and Geoff put their clothes away. Not that they had many and
Jordon told them that they would have to go shopping soon for some new
clothes.  Jordon then explained some rules to the pair telling them that it
was their responsibility to keep the room clean and tidy and not make a
mess in the bathroom.

"The school times are usually in the morning for three hours and another
couple of hours in the afternoon.  Each morning we have chores to do before
breakfast and in the evening before supper.  You won't have to do those
today because we don't want the people at the gate taking pictures but
hopefully they will be gone by morning."

Jennifer then knocked on the bedroom before coming in and telling the two
boys that they still had at least an hour of school to do, but the twins
can start in the morning.

Jordon suggested that the twins spend the rest of the afternoon looking
over the house and finding out were everything is but to stay away from the
front of the house windows until everyone had gone from the front gate.

With Veronica still on her honeymoon Damien spent most of the day in the
office doing paperwork, while Bentley assumed the position of chef and was
busy preparing supper. Normally it would be Jennifer who would do the
cooking after she had finished lessons with the boys.  With more and more
kids joining the project Damien needs to find a cook capable of handling
meals for all the residents who once they had filled every spot would
number close to fourteen hungry mouths.

He had advertised the position but so far no one had answered the
advert. Both Damien and Bentley had to return to Toronto within the next
couple of days to work on the Triangle Project.  Damien was loath to leave
the farm understaffed but had no option.

The following day they did have a couple more interviews of prospective
young guys who wanted to join the project.  They had requests flowing in
from all over the country and North America from various church and social
welfare organizations with suitable candidates.

Once schooling was finished for the day Jordon and Geoff went looking for
the twins.  They found them in their room asleep on one bed with their arms
wrapped around each other. The problem was they were naked and had

The boys decided to leave them like that and went to see Damien because

because right now their situation is fragile and we should take it easy on
them."

The boys agreed with them and went to wake the boys so they could come with
them to collect the eggs, milk the cows and do some of the other chores now
that the crowd at the gate dispersed. While they were collecting the eggs
Jordon raised the subject of them having sex together, "As brothers it
isn't right that you two boys should be doing what you do together.  While
right now we're not going to forbid you to do it, we do ask that you try
and resist having sex with each other.

We know that you both love each other which is only natural for two boys
being brought up together. All Geoff and I are asking is that you try not
to do what you did this afternoon, bearing in mind that we won't punish you
for it but try to make you stop, understood?"

Both boys nodded but looked very unhappy about it at the same time, "But we
love each other and want to stay together for ever." Timmy said grabbing
his brother's hand.

"We understand that boys which is why we not banning what you are doing
right out.  Maybe in the future you will both find boyfriends and then you
will be able to still remain brothers but have others to love and cuddle.
Do you both understand that boys?"  They nodded and Jordon decided not to
pursue the subject any further as they took the eggs into the house and
then went to feed the pigs, horses and milk the cows.

By the time they had finished all their chores it was time to wash up for
supper. For two young guys the twins had had big appetites and devoured
everything put in front of them and then had seconds. Jokingly Damien said,
"We'll have to adjust the budget to allow for these guys appetites."
Everyone laughed.  Once the meal was over the four boys prepared to do the
washing up.

After that they sat around watching TV for about an hour before heading off
to bed. After going around the adults kissing and cuddling them goodnight,
all four trooped upstairs. At the top of the stairs they began to head for
their own rooms but the twins stopped and turned, "At the church home the
lady always tucked us into bed and kissed us goodnight.  Can you two do
that as well?"

"Of course we can." Geoff replied and the boys went with them to their
room, waited until they had undressed and got into their night
attire. Neither of the twins was worried or bashful about being naked in
front of Jordon and Geoff.  They hopped into bed and the two boys went to
kiss and cuddle them goodnight but both twins tried very hard to force
their tongues between the boy's teeth.

"Now cut that out" Jordan said trying to be stern but not really
succeeding, "You two young guys have got learn that things like that are
wrong."

"Sorry." The two of them said in unison. Both of the older boys turned away
to leave the room and just as they reached the door two little voices again
together said, "Good night, god bless you Jordon and Geoff, we love you
both and thank you for having us come to live with you."

Well that did it by the time both of them had closed the door behind them,
tears were flowing down their cheeks, "We could never be mad at those two
for long." Jordon remarked between sobs.

Arms round each other they made their way to their own bedroom and after
undressing both got into the shower.  Kissing and cuddling, getting very
hot and horny and before long a quick shower turned into a one hour event.
One that lasted until all the hot water ran out and the shower went cold.
They quickly dried each other off and headed to the bed to continue what
they started.

Of course because of their sexual activity the night before they over slept
and had to rush around to do their chores the next morning. In fact the

began to laugh as they made their way to the cow bails so they could get
the morning milking done.

Milking the two cows was so much easier now they had machines to do the
job.  They also had to separate the cream.  Because they had an excess they
got a couple of extra churns filled and ready for Geoff's father to take
into town after breakfast. The plan was to buy another two cows in calf so
they would be able to gradually build up a herd.

Once the morning chores were done it was back to the house for breakfast.
Bentley had prepared steak, eggs, freshly picked mushrooms, along with
orange juice and he also had blueberry pancakes. The boys devoured all in
sight before Jennifer called them into the classroom for a full morning
session because the boys and Jennifer had interviews in the afternoon.

It was just after lunch that the first guy to be interviewed arrived and
both Jordon and Geoff couldn't help but stare.  He was drop dead gorgeous.
Blonde curly hair, piercing blue eyes and he had on a pair of jeans that
was a couple of sizes too small for him.  Neither of them could take their
eyes off the package he had between his legs.

Damien came up behind them and laughingly said, "Down boys." Meanwhile the
young man who had not yet been introduced winked at them and then smiled

Damien smiling replied, "I thought you would say that." While his mother
looked at her son and frowned saying, "Don't forget you are spoken for."
Jordon just smiled at her but was at the same time he was thinking if he
could talk Geoff into a threesome. Something they had never considered

The next interview wasn't for another hour so they all decided to head into
the kitchen for a snack and cold drink. Jordon walked in first and suddenly

A lot happened in this chapter but the one thing that stands out is the
stand against the pastor by Miles and Keith and the fact that their mothers
and a large section of the congregation agreed with them. There is no room
for bigots like that preacher was we are what we are and nothing can change
that. Hopefully their mom's will find another church.

Martha and Fred are finally together again after Martha's scare with the
heart attack but has the doctor warned they will have to take things easy
especially sex wise.

Finally the farm, it looks like the twins are going to be a handful but
they sound like such likeable kids that it will be hard to be hard on them.

Plus of course we started the chapter with the wedding and Jordon's
emotional speech at the reception along with the exchange of rings during
the ceremony. I hope the boys have a very happy life together which brings
us to the cliff-hanger.  Is everything going as smoothly as it should
between the two and the new guy Chris or is that not what happened? Hehehe.

Editors Corner

A very interesting chapter that's for sure.  I loved the way Miles and
Keith stood up to that homophobic piece of crap minister.  Isn't it strange
that some churches say there is nothing wrong in being gay and in a gay
relationship and others go ballistic over gay rights? Claiming the bible
says its wrong.  Those that are anti gay seem to pick and choose which
lines in the bible are faith and which lines in the bible are norms of the
times.  i.e. you should stone your wife if she is not a virgin on your
wedding night, you shall not wear clothing made of two different fabrics
(i.e. cotton polyester) as that is an abomination, you shall not eat
shellfish as that is an abomination.  Same words as man lying down with man
is an abomination. The bible also says it is ok to own a slave as long as
it is from another town and that slaves better do as their master demands.
So I find it amazing that they are able to choose which lines are sins and
which are just norms of the times. (enough of my soapbox - sorry)

I love the interaction between the two gay twins.  I think they will add a
lot of life to this story in the future.  I think Jordon and Geoff are
wrong.  The only purpose of incest is to prevent births between siblings
because of birth defects.  I do not see anything wrong in two people who
cannot get pregnant being in a relationship (my take)

Now, this new guy Chris.  Sounds hot and sounds like a person that can
cause a lot of conflict in the Jordon household.  Wonder what Jordon saw in
the kitchen. Trevor does not tell me but like you I strongly suspect.  So
hang in there for the next exciting chapter.
