Subject: Mike Our Star Player III-2

From the previous chapter:

Mike: I fell asleep before my dad got home from his Friday night dinner
date with Mr. Mike so our talk about whether Mr. Mike being willing to
give me a second chance had to wait until breakfast the next morning.



The following is a conversation Mr. Mike and his sister's had at the end
of the month of September. The content of this conversation had begun
with the two of them talking about it in Florida and continued during the
month of September.

Mike: "Maria, I really enjoy being at New Town High, but I still do not
feel comfortable being around Marty's son, Mike."

Maria: "Could it be that his actions last spring, started to rekindle in
your memory what happened to our baby brothers?"

Mike: "Sis, I am not sure, but maybe."

Maria: "Do you feel comfortable when in a group setting if Mike is
present?"

Mike: "I have gone to all (5) five football games with Frenchie, and the
team is doing better than expected (5-0), yet when Marty asks me if I
would join he, Mark, and Mike at Pizza Hut after our home games; I get a
tightness in my stomach, just thinking about being there with Mike."

Maria: "Do you have feelings for Marty?"

Mike: "I do not ask you about your sex life, and besides you are my
younger sister, but to be blunt: YES I am in love with Marty, the man,
not the father of Mike."

Maria: "So you are willing to throw it all away and leave for a new
school called Beachside in Florida, just because of a teenager's stupid
actions last spring.  A teenager who I have been working with for almost
6 months, and is willing to leave Marty to move back with his mother and
step-father just to make his dad happy.  He wants you and his dad to be
together even if it would kill Mike inside to leave his home."

Mike: "Why are you telling me all of this?"

Maria: "You have Frenchie now and Mike feels as if he has lost the 3
most important men in his life, just because of a stupid comment he made
last year while still in school."

Mike: "I have to talk to both Mark and Marty about what we can do."

Maria: "If Mike gives his permission I am going to summarize our 90 min
talk and submit it to you as part of your on going Nifty therapy, and
Mark has expressed an interest in submitting a couple of chapters to take
the stress off you."

Mike: "Thanks sis, you are the best and I love you."



TBC.....  I am not sure if it will be Maria and Mike or one of Mark's
submissions??? I lay my money on Mike getting Marty to write how he is
feeling about this stuff.
