Author's notes:

Hi everyone. I hope you are enjoying the story of Chris and Eric so far. I'm
sorry that the installments haven't been very long. I promise that this one
will be longer and more involved. If you haven't figured it out yet, the
story is going to alternate between Chris' point of view and Eric's.

I love getting e-mails from you readers. I will value any comments,
criticisms, suggestions, etc. that you may have. My address is
gibsongirl101@hotmail.com. Thanks again for your letters!

Now for the legal stuff/disclaimers:
This story is about two young men who fall in love. Sooner or later it will
involve sex between the two. If this kind of stuff offends you, why are you
here?

Lastly, if you are under 18 (or 21 in some states) you should quickly locate
the back button and leave this site. (Or just don't get caught, lol).

Well, that's it, now onto the story! Enjoy!

Eric:

After Chris left, I just lay in my bed for awhile, thinking about how much
had happened in the last few hours. Chris loved me! I had a boyfriend! Chris
loved me! I still couldn't believe it, and if I couldn't still taste his
lips, then I wouldn't believe it.

"Eric? Are you up there?" my mother's voice yelled.

"Yes, mom. I'm here."

"Can you come down for a minute please?"

"Sure mom. I'll be right there, ok?" I jumped up from my bed, ran a comb
through my hair, and ran down the stairs. My parents were waiting in the
kitchen for me.

"Eric, we need to talk to you." My mother said, in a serious voice. I knew
that it had to be something serious.

"What is it, Mom, Dad?"

"We are moving."

"What? Why?" I shouted.
"Well, we just think that ti would be the best thing, considering what
happened this past week." My dad said.

"Dad, we can't move every time someone finds out I'm gay, takes offense to
it, and beats the shit out of me." I said.

"We are just worried about you that's all. We don't want you to get hurt.
Like last time." My mother's eyes filled with tears when she thought about
why we had to move from our home town last year.

"Mom, the same thing is not going to happen here. These people are
different."

"Are you sure? What about Chris? Are you sure that he is ok with you being
gay? Are you sure that he is not the one who told the whole school?" my dad
asked.

"You know, I never really like him anyway, Eric. He always seemed to be a
bit stuck up when he was around." My mom told me.

"Dad, Chris is not the one who let it slip that I was gay." I hesitated
before I told them about Chris. "Can you two keep a secret?" my parents
nodded. "The reason that I know that it was not Chris who told the school
that I was gay is because, well, he's gay too."

My parents sat there at the kitchen table, looking at me in shock. I don't
think that they knew what to say. "He doesn't want anyone to know. I think
it is because while he knows that sooner or later everyone will accept me
for who I am, he knows that no one will ever accept the Golden Boy to be a
homosexual. Least of all his parents."

"Are you serious?" my mother asked. "You are not just wishing that he is
gay?"

"Mom, I'm completely serious. We are involved. But I promised him that I
wouldn't tell you. But I also don't want you two to think badly about the
man I love." Again, they were shocked. "Yes, I love him, and he loves me.
And mom, Chris is not stuck up. He's just shy."

"That boy is not shy. He is the most well liked, and popular kid in town."

"I know, but he is not really comfortable being adored for what he looks
like and his talent on the football field. To tell you the truth, I don't
think he's ever had a real friend, except for me and another boy named
Kyle."

"If you say so, Eric. Bring him around sometime, we want to get to know him
better, ok?" my dad asked.

"Of course. He is going to be a big part of my life now, hopefully for a
long, long time. I want you two to like him, as much as I like him."

"We'll try, honey. We promise." My father said.

"Thanks. I have to go shower now. Chris and I are going into the city
tonight. It will be our first date." I giggled, like a young child, and
blushed. My parents smiled, and waved me away.

The doorbell rang as I was heading to the stairs. "I'll get it." I said as I
headed to the door. Much to my surprise, Chris's best friend Kyle was
standing on the stoop.

Although I have gotten VERY close to Chris in the months that I've been
here, I haven't really gotten to know Kyle. I guess it's because he's kind
of standoffish, and really quiet. And I never thought that he liked me very
much.

"Kyle, hi." I said.

"Hey." He stood there, with his hands in his pockets, looking very
uncomfortable.

"DO you want to come in?"

"No, I just wanted to tell you that Chris told me all about you two."

"HE DID!" I was very surprised. "I didn't think that he wanted anyone to
know."

"You didn't think that included me did you? Chris is like my brother. We
keep no secrets from one another."

"Oh," I said rather stupidly. "Are you ok with it?"

"Yeah, I am." He paused before saying, "Eric, don't take this the wrong way,
but if you do anything to hurt Chris, I'll personally see that your life is
made a living Hell."

"Ummm....ok."

"It's just that Chris is very fragile right now. I mean, with his parents
hating him, the whole school whispering about him, and the town wondering,
well, I just don't think that he can take anymore disappointments. So if you
are just after sex, back off now before Chris falls more deeply in love with
you, ok?"

"Kyle, I love Chris more than I love myself. I would never deliberately hurt
him. It would be like tearing out my own heart. I have loved Chris since the
first time I met him. And I fall more and more in love with him everyday.
And nothing is going to change that."

Kyle smiled and patted me on the arm. "His birthday is..."

"April 23rd. Same as yours. His favorite color is red, his favorite baseball
team is the Yankees, he loves to go hiking and his favorite book is `The
Grapes of Wrath'. Satsified?" I asked, laughing slightly.

"I guess so. So, I guess that this means that you and I are going to be
seeing more of each other in the future, huh?"

"I guess so. Do you mind?"

"No, I guess not. Not if you are really serious about him."

"I am. Honestly. Now, I have to go get ready for my date. Did Chris tell you
where we are going?"

"Yep. He said that you are going to Dallas for your first date." Kyle turned
to go, but before he did, he turned back and said, "I hope that you two have
a great time. Treat him right, ok?"

"You bet. See you later Kyle."

"Bye bud." With that, Kyle headed back to his jeep and sped out of my
driveway.

I laughed again, feeling good that Kyle had apparently accepted me as Chris'
other half. Now to go get ready for my date with the man I loved.

I took a long shower, even going so far as to loufa my skin and use some
exotic smelling cologne that I hoped would drive Chris wild. While I was not
sure that I wanted to be totally intimate with him, I was sure that I wanted
to try some things, and soon.

Then I pulled on some CK boxers, black, with little smiley faces on them,
and stood in front of my closet, trying to decide what to wear. I wanted to
look casual, but sexy too. I know I am not as hot as Chris, but I was fairly
good looking. I thought that Chris, with his blonde good looks, and I, with
my darker complexion, made a really good couple. WE were all contrasts. I
was dark, he was light. He was muscular, I was slender. And so on, you get
the picture.

I finally decided on my tan khakis, with a black shirt. The shirt clung to
my stomach and shoulders, showing them off to perfection. I added black
socks, and slipped my shoes on. Then I went back into the bathroom to brush
my teeth, and fix my hair. I decided to go for the artfully tousled look.

Taking one last look at myself in my full length mirror, I was satisfied
with my appearance. I just knew that Chris would flip, and that was all that
mattered. I looked at the clock, and saw that it was 5:00. The doorbell
rang.

He was here!

themselves and end where they end. Please let me know what you think. Should
I keep writing the story? Do you like how it is going? My email is
