CHAPTER 3

His lips were sweet and velvety, and he pressed them softly against mine.
They tasted to me like honeysuckle. Slowly I opened my mouth and let his
tongue explore my own. I was enveloped in a sensation more wonderful than
anything that I ever could have imagined. I reached my hand up to his face
and softly placed it on to his cheek. I wanted to hold that moment, that
perfect moment, as long as I could.

His lips parted mine and I sighed. It was wonderful, he was wonderful. He
looked at me and smiled, and then leaned back and began lightly kissing my
neck.

Aaron sat up and pulled me down from the door until I was lying on the seat.
He began kissing my forehead, nose, mouth, chin and down my chest to my
nipples. He lightly flicked them with his tongue and softly nibbled. I
started to moan and he looked up at me again and gave me that toothy
mischievous grin that I love so much.

He reached down and began to unbutton my shorts. I reached and grabbed his
hands stopping him and pulled him up to me.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing, I'm just scared Aaron. I've never done this before"

"Well, neither have I, I just wanted to make you feel good."

I turned on my side and backed myself into the inside of the spoon and
wrapped his arm around me.

"This makes me feel good. Being with you right now without doing anything I
don't know if I am ready for." "This is really scary to me, and right now I
just want you to hold onto me and not let go."

Aaron reached his hand over lacing his fingers with mine again and pulled me
closer to him. I was trembling with a mixture of fear and excitement. He
kissed the back of my neck.

"I can wait, I have waited this long and I will wait longer. I love you,
and you are worth it."

I turned around and faced him and kissed him hard on the mouth. The feeling
of his body pressed against mine was amazing and he was nearly too much to
resist, but I was terrified of going any further.

I slowly pulled away from kissing Aaron and looked in his eyes.

"I love you" I murmured as I suddenly felt the exhaustion that the days
events had brought me.

I kissed him softly on the lips and then turned again and wrapped myself
into him.

He was softly kissing my neck when I finally fell asleep.

I woke up the next morning to the sounds of birds chirping loudly. The sun
was streaming in through the windows and it filled the inside of my car with
a natural, dusty light. Aaron was still sleeping and was letting out little
moans in his sleep. It felt so good to be in his arms that I half thought
about just staying there like that and not getting up. I knew that I had to
get up and check the situation outside to see if we could get the car out of
there.

Very carefully I lifted Aaron's arm off of me and began to slowly move to
get up. I tried as much as possible not to wake him, but somehow he still
began to stir.

"Where are you going?" he said in the middle of a yawn.

I pressed a finger to my lips and leaned close to him. "Shh...Go back to
sleep, I am going to check the car."

He grabbed my arm and pulled me to him "I don't want you to go yet" he said,
half whining. "Come lay back down here with me, just for a little while"

I smiled and gave him a soft kiss on the cheek.

"I can't, I really have to get home, and the first step to getting there is
to make sure that I can get out of this mud."

"Fine, just leave me here then" He said. He was so overly dramatic
sometimes, and, as I was observing, a bit whiny in the mornings.

I opened the door to the cavalier and was greeted by the muggy air outside.
The sun was shining brightly and there was a soft breeze. I figured that it
must be around 11:00 am or 12:00 pm.

The mud had pretty much dried up, but there were still small puddles of mud
and water in the area of the car. I figured that it wouldn't be a cakewalk
getting the cavalier out of it, but we were certainly in a better situation
than we were last night. The car was covered in mud and some was caked on
the tires. Fortunately the area around the tires seemed to be pretty much
dried up.

I woke Aaron up and after a little bit of prodding, got him to help out as
we slowly pushed the car out of the mud. It really wasn't that hard to do.
When we got it out of the mud, I jumped up with excitement and jumped into
the car ready to get out of there. I opened the passenger door for Aaron to
come in and for some reason he didn't. I looked out the door to see him
standing there with a look of hesitation on his face.

"Aaron, come on, I gotta get home. You know how much trouble I am already
in?" "What's up with you?"

Aaron slowly walked toward the car and climbed into the passenger side door
and into the seat. He was bothered by something, I could tell, but he
wasn't talking at all, or even looking at me for that matter. I turned the
car off and looked at him.

"Aaron" I said softly. "What's wrong?" "I know something is up."

Aaron sat quietly looking at down at his hands. He turned and looked at me
with a look of worry and concern in his face.

"Things are different now aren't they?" He said.

"Yes, they are." "Do you not want them to be different?" I asked
hesitantly.

"I'm glad that they are, because I love you, but part of me is afraid of
what will happen to us now" "I don't know what to do now"

Even though I knew that he was serious and upset and worried, part of me
melted when I actually heard him say that he loved me.

"Oh honey" I began. "Let's not over think this right now. Ok?" "I really
just want to enjoy this right now." I reached over to him and grabbed his
hand "We can deal with the realities of the situation as they come, and we
will deal with them together." "Alright?"

"Yeah, I know you're right. You always are" He said sarcastically. He
still seemed a bit bothered.

"Is there something else on your mind?" I asked

"I just don't know if I am ready to leave here right now." "Last night was
magical and I just want to stay in that moment for awhile."

"Me too, it was amazing" I said.

Aaron grinned at me and leaned over and gave me a perfect kiss. I didn't
want it to end, but he pulled away from me. I looked at him pleadingly but
he just continued to grin.

"I thought that you were in a rush to get home?" "Now all the sudden you
found extra time?"

He was teasing me and I knew it. I didn't want to let him know that he got
to me.

"I do have to get home, I was just going to wait a little longer because you
seemed to not want to go so badly"

"Yeah right, that's what it was..." He started laughing.

He got to me, and he knew it.

We drove home in a comfortable silence. Every now and then I would sneak a
glance at him and I caught him looking at me also. I was smiling. Things
had changed completely between us in the span of one evening. I was really
worried about how we would handle this change. I didn't know what to do
either, and I didn't know what we would have to face. All I knew is that he
loved me and I loved him and the rest of it didn't really matter all that
much.
