Subject: Pat and John-12

Before Pat left for school the next morning, his parents had a talk with
him. "Pat," they said, seriously, "did you and John have sex last night?" Pat
thought a minute before answering. "Yes, we did, and it was so wonderful. I
can't describe it." His parents took him in their arms, saying, "Your never
will be able to describe it. But, as you love each other, always be careful."
Pat promised he would as he kissed them goodbye.

As the day went on, Pat was congratulated by many of the other students
there at school. His old nemesis, Junior Davis, had been looking for him ever
since seeing his father, the former Principal, fired over another bullying
incident against a gay student. That, and the assembly, pushed Junior to an
enraged state of anger. This time, Junior had friends with him.

Pat was at his locker getting ready for his next class, when a muscular
hand grabbed him in a powerful grip. "I'm gonna beat the crap outta you for
what you did to my Dad", Junior snarled, as he forced Pat down the hall and
out the back door. Pat saw several of Junior's friends, the school's "rough
crowd". The minute they saw Pat, they laughed, "Awww, look at the poor
cripple!" That was the wrong thing to say, but Pat was outnumbered, and he knew
he was going to was take some damage from the beating.

While two his buddies held Pat down, Junior began to beat Pat up. Much to
Junior's anger, Pat didn't cry or utter a word. He just took the beating. All
of the sudden, the back door opened, and eight or ten of John's teammates burst
out, grabbing Junior and his friends, taking them to the Principal's office,
while two boys remained behind to help Pat walk to the Nurse's office.

Upon reaching the the Nurse's office, Pat's injuries overcame him and he
lapsed into unconsciousness. 9-1-1 and Pat's parents were immediately called.
When they arrived at the school, the Stephens were told the sad news. "I'm
sorry," Mr. Galvez said, "but this boy, Junior Davis, really disliked your son
and his father's misfortunes were blamed on Pat, it seems. He decided to "even
the score" after last night's assembly."

Mr. Stephens replied, "Junior Davis has never liked Pat, even before his
parents passed away, and his father has always been a homophobic jackass. My
question to you is what will be done about this? This is the SECOND occurrence
of this type this year."

Mr. Galvez nodded his head in agreement. "Because of the severity of this
incident, and the likelihood of continuing incidents if he were to remain, I am
recommending that Junior Davis be expelled NOW, in addition to being arresting
for attempted murder. Honestly, I think he would have killed Pat today, if
given time enough to do so. Now, go to the hospital. Our prayers are with you
and Pat."

When they got there, they were met by Dr. Mike, who had a very angry look
on his face. "Who could have done this?", he sputtered. The Stephens explained
what happened and asked that John not be told just yet. Interested in Pat's
injuries, his parents prepared themselves for serious ones, as Dr. Mike
explained. "Pat from suffered three broken ribs, a broken nose, a broken cheek,
a fractured arm, a fractured leg, several bruised muscles, and several torn
muscles. I'd like your permission to operate for the express purpose of
removing those broken ribs. I'm not saying it'll happen, but they might
puncture a lung. Removing those those ribs will make sure it WON'T happen."

Answering as one, the Stephens said, "Do it." The Stephens went to John's
room, surprising him. "Hi, Mom, Dad!", John said, with a big smile. Almost
immediately, John's Mom began to cry. "What's wrong, Mom?", John asked, now
scared. His father took him in his arms, and said "Son, Pat was attacked in
school today. Junior Davis and his buddies did it, and they've been arrested.
Pat is below, being operating on for horrible injuries."

John burst out in tears, and hugged his father hard. Within minutes,
though, poor John was sobbing and wailing in intense pain. Mr. Stephens called
for a nurse to bring John something that would calm him down. Mr. Stephens
stayed with John, while his wife chose to go downstairs to stay with Pat.

After an hour or so, John and his Dad joined Mrs. Stephens. John was still
crying, but he was calmer, and more under control. Dr. Mike saw them there and
begged them to eat something. "If you won't go, I can have something sent up,
but you need to eat!", Dr. Mike thundered. Rather than make them eat the
hospital food, Dr. Mike paid for take-out, because this family meant a lot to
him.

When he gave them their food, Dr. Mike also had good news. "The surgeon
says that everything went well, and they are moving Pat up to your room, John.
You will be his therapist in a little while, so it looks like you two can help
each other, if you two are willing. Pat was the victim of hate. Pure and
vicious hate, that has no defense. I was told of your making love last night,
and I must say I'm glad you got the chance to express your love privately. I
think you guys are special, I really do. Now, I've got to run, so you get a
good night's rest."

John and his parents went back to his room, where they found Pat asleep.
They placed his teddy bear in his arms and kissed him goodnight. John climbed
into bed and was hugged and kissed by his parents before they left for the
night.
