Heath woke up and looked at the clock and it was nearly noon. He turned to
Tim and woke him up and said we need to get cleaned up and dressed and get
to the hospital.

Tim jumped out of bed and his morning wood was 8 1/2 inches ahead of him.
He covered it with his hands and said Heath I am sorry, I should have
waited until it went down.

Heath smiled and said if you did that we may never get to the hospital.

They both laughed and headed for the bathroom, Heath told Tim to go ahead
and take a shower and that he would take one after, in the mean time he
would go down and make breakfast for them. Heath got down stairs and
realized that he had to make something easy and fast.  He decided on
cereal, and put the bowl, milk and cereal on the table for Tim and went
back up stairs.

Tim came out of the bathroom and walked right in Heath, they both fell to
the floor and Tim lost his towel leaving his naked in front of Heath
again. He said sorry I was rushing to much.

Heath said, no problem and said he left breakfast on the table for you, I
will take a shower and meet you down stairs after I get dressed. Then we
can take Jeremy's car and head to the hospital. Heath went into the
bathroom and took a shower and cleaned up then headed into the bedroom and
got dressed. He remembered that Tim had been it the cloths he was wearing
since yesterday morning. Heath called Tim up stairs.

Tim came up and said I am ready to go.

Heath said you should change your cloths, take and wear so of Jeremy's he
won't mind.

Tim said are you sure.

Heath smiled and said how can I see you naked again if you don't take off
those cloths and then laughed.

Tim said ok and made a point of facing Heath when he was naked every chance
he got, he said are you getting excited yet.

Heath said Tim I love Jeremy and there is nothing you can do or show me
that will ever change that.

Tim said Heath I was only kidding I would never want to come between you
and Jeremy, you guys are the best and I would never do anything to hurt you
guys.

Heath said Tim I know that and I was only kidding as well, now tuck that
monster back in his cave and lets get out of here.

Tim said ok and finished dressing, they headed down stairs and out the
door, Tim got in on the drivers side and Heath in the passenger seat. Tim
started the car and backed out of the drive and they were on the way. Half
way there Tim pulled over and stopped, he pointed to the flower shop and
smiled.  Heath jumped out ran inside and came back with a very nice flower
arrangement.

Heath smiled at Tim and said, you are a hopeless romantic.

Tim said thanks, but you should see me in bed.

Heath laughed and said I already have and I was not impressed.

Tim said oh are you going to get it.

They arrived at the hospital and went in, and headed up to Jeremy's room.
When they got there the room was empty Tim asked where the kid in this room
was, the nurse said oh he's not here any more Tim turned to Heath just in
time to see him hit the floor. The nurse came out from behind the desk and
brought Heath around. He looked at the nurse and said he's gone.

The nurse said I am sorry I meant to say they moved his into ICU.

Heath said where is that?

The nurse said third floor.

The boys headed down to the third floor and went to the intensive care
unit. They stopped at the nurses station and asked for Jeremy. They said
that only family was allowed to visit. Heath was very upset and Tim said
Heath it is for his protection. Tim asked if the nurse could tell them why
he was moved down here. She said I am sorry family only. Heath went over
and was looking at Jeremy through the glass doors.

Tim asked the nurse to step over to the side so he could talk in private, I
am willing to wait right here. The boy there is Jeremy's boyfriend and it
is killing him not to be able to be with him.

The nurse smiled and said ok, but he has to wash his hands and face and
wear a gown, mask, rubber glove and cover his hair,

Tim asked what is the problem?

The nurse said he has a very strong infection running through his body and
has a temperature of 104 We have him on antibiotics and are hoping that
will bring down his temp and start to fight the infection

Tim asked what if it doesn't work

She said your friend will slip into a coma. and then who knows.

Tim said what ever you do not tell that to him. I will tell him later.

Heath cleaned up just as the nurse had said and then went in to see
Jeremy. He put his hand on the side of Jeremy's face and even through the
rubber gloves he felt the fever that he had. Heath knelt down and started
to pray. He asked that Jeremy be spared all this and asked to heal him and
have him come home soon. Then he just started talking to Jeremy about
anything that came to mind. 15 minutes later the nurse open the door and
said I am sorry but your time is up. Heath patted Jeremy on the cheek and I
love you and we will be together soon.

Heath took off all the stuff he had to wear and told the nurse thank you
for letting me in.

The nurse said when his mom and dad come up tell them to add you to the
list that way you can go in and visit and then she winked at Heath. he
thanked her again and went to meet up with Tim in the waiting room.

They both sat there and passed to time reading magazines, Tim started to
laugh and said do you remember the night I slept at your house and we all
slept in the same bed. That was the first time I noticed that you and
Jeremy were really and truly in love with each other. I know that Jeremy
will be fine because true love will conqueror almost anything. I have never
seen two people that get alone so well look so good together and fit each
other like a glove. With all that going for him you just know he will be
fine.

Tim said Heath I have to call my mom. Tim got up and walk out into the
hallway. His mom answered and asked where he was, and he said at the
hospital. His mom was very upset and Tim could hear it in her voice. He
said mom I will be home in about 20 Minutes can we talk then .  She said
yes and Tim said bye mom I love you. He went into the waiting room and
looked at Heath and mom is really mad, I have to go before she grounds me
for life.

Heath said Tim, he got up and hugged him, Thank you for all you did, I have
no way to ever repay you for saving Jeremy.

Tim started to cry and said Heath you know I love him too.

Heath said are you going to be OK on the way home.

Tim said no but I don't like people to see me cry so I will let loose on
the way home.

Heath took Tim in his hands one on each cheek and kissed him one on the
lips, then kissed him on the lips again

Tim said what was that for.

Heath said the first kiss was for Jeremy thanking you, the second was from
me to show you that I love you to

Tim said I better go or I will have to mop up the floor. He said that he
will leave Jeremy's car in the drive and walk home.

Heath said no you take it to your house that way you will get home faster.

Tim said what about Jeremy's cloths.

Heath said take them home, but don't wash I want to smell the crouch later,
and started to laugh

Tim said I will talk to you later. If there are any changes you call me
right away.

Heath said I will pal.

Tim left and went home.

Heath was in the waiting room hoping that the nurse would let him go in
again but more importantly he was waiting for an update on Jeremy's
condition. He paced for hours.  he never even stopped to eat he was still
pacing when mom and dad arrived. Heath hugged mom and said hi to dad.

Dad asked how is he doing?

Heath said they won't tell me anything, they will only tell family.

Dad said ok we will fix that. He went to the nurses station and added Heath
and Tim to the visitors list.  Then he asked the nurse how he was
doing. They told dad about the infection and the temperature, she also said
the his temp started to come down which is a good sign and the antibiotics
will start to fight the infection, with all that going on and with a little
luck he should be back upstairs in a couple days.  The nurse said I hope
you don't mind me saying this but the people that sexually assaulted your
son should be out in jail. Dad began turning red and said some one sexually
assaulted him? The nurse said I thought you knew, Dad said I do now.

Dad went back to the waiting room and Heath asked how Jeremy was doing.
Dad said that will wait He sat down and told Heath come here and sit. Heath
had no idea what was going on only that dad seemed really mad. Dad looked
him right in the eyes and said son do you know what happened to Jeremy.
Heath said yes. Dad stood up and yelled don't you think you should have
told your mother and I.


Heath said yes but

Dad said son there is no but, you have really let me down, I can not
believe that you would keep something like that from us. Dad said
I...I.... am he turned and left the room.

Heath said mom I really hurt dad didn't I

Mom said son you should never hold anything back from us, We love you and
only want what's best for you and now that you are with Jeremy, he is part
of the family as well. you should have told us right away that way we could
have called the police.

Heath said that is what I did not want you to do, I will get even with
Ster, and then he stopped and said them

Mom said is this the same boy that hurt Tim's arm.

Heath said yes it is, it is also the kid that broke Jeremy's leg, and now
he has done this, I do not know how but I will get even with him and he is
really going to pay .

Mom said son you let your dad deal with this, he will not let it go until
someone is held responsible. Now what do you say we go and visit with that
handsome young man in there.  They went to the nurses station and checked
in. the nurse gave them each a gown , mask, rubber gloves and a hair
net. They went in and Heath went up to the side of the bed and felt his
face and said mom he is not as hot as he was before.  He took Jeremy's hand
and knelt and silently said a prayer and then stood and said anything that
came to mind then he said by the way mom's here to, Jeremy you need to get
better we all miss you and want you home again even Tim has been
upset. Please come back to us soon.

The nurse came in and said I am sorry but you have to leave now.

As Heath was leaving he stopped at the nurses station and said that he was
sorry for acting up earlier and that it would not happen again

The nurse smiled and said I understand, and thank you for the apology but
it was not necessary.

Heath smiled and said oh yes it was , Good night and thank you.

Heath and mom headed out to the car, dad was sitting there waiting for them
and when they got in the car,

Heath said dad.

Dad was so mad that he did not answer.

They drove home in silence. When they got home they got out of the car, dad
walked up the stairs opened the door and went in and went to his room and
stayed in there for the remainder of the evening.

Heath said good night mom

Mom said good night son

Heath went up stairs and went into his room and closed thed door. He was
having a hard time trying to understand why dad was so mad. He knew that he
should have told them but he wanted to make Sterling pay for what he had
done. He got undressed and for the first time in almost 6 months Heath was
in bed alone. He missed having Jeremy next to him and was hoping soon he
would be back.  Heath laid there and tossed and turned and finally fell
asleep.
