Subject: Pride and Love   Chapter 3

We begin with all the necessary announcements.  If you are offended by sex
between teenage boys, Stories of the nature are not legal where you reside
or you are not 18 years of age please leave now.



   Pride and Love


   We left off last chapter with Heath and Jeremy getting ready to go to
bed. Just to refresh your memory Heath has been pretty much bed ridden
since his fall down the stairs at his house several months ago. He suffered
some head trauma and is recovering but very slowly. He is still having some
motor function problems as will heal but it is not known if it will be a
total or partial recovery. His friend Jeremy, also his boyfriend, moved in
when Heath returned from the hospital and has been taking care of his while
they were out of school. The story picks up with the boys getting ready for
bed due to Jeremy having to start school in the morning.

Chapter 3

  The alarm went off at 6:30 am and Jeremy got out of bed went over to
check on Heath. He was still asleep. Jeremy picked out the cloths that he
was going to wear to school and quietly left the room closing the door
behind him as to not wake Heath. Jeremy went in to shower and brush his
hair and teeth and get dressed. He went downstairs to the kitchen and found
a note on the table that stated, Heath's parents had already left for work
and that they would be home some time after 7:00 and that dinner was in the
fridge with the directions on what he needed to do. Jeremy fixed himself
breakfast, cleaned the kitchen and headed back upstairs to see if Heath was
awake. He quietly opened the door only to see that Heath was indeed
awake. He went in and asked him what he wanted for breakfast and with a
smile on his face he replied one full portion of you. Jeremy laughed and
said really I want to get you breakfast before I leave and I only have
about 20 minutes. Heath said just a couple slices of toast and a glass of
milk would be fine. Jeremy then asked about lunch and the reply was a
bologna sandwich some chips and a can of root beer. Jeremy said I will be
right back and left the room and bounded down the stairs. He prepared the
food and returned to the bedroom, gave Heath his breakfast and left the
lunch on the stand beside the bed. Jeremy leaned over Heath and said he had
to go, then kissed him lightly on the lips. He started to head for the door
when he turned and said if you need anything or something should happen
call my cell and I will be here as fast as I can get here. Heath said no
problem followed by I LOVE YOU. Jeremy turned and said DITTO.

     Jeremy arrived at school with just enough time to pick up his schedule
and went to the office to advised them of the situation. He went into the
counselors office and waited for him to arrive.  Mr. Warner came in and was
surprised to see Jeremy sitting there. Mr. Warner knew Jeremy and that he
had up until now been a model student. Now what could you have done already
that has landed you here in my office. Jeremy proceeded to fill Mr. Warner
in on all the information that was necessray and requested a copy of
Heath's schedule. He planned on see all of his teachers and pick up his
assignments to bring home for Heath to complete. Jeremy then headed for his
first class. When he got to math he was a little late, showed the pass that
was given to him by Mr. Warner, then took his seat. The bell rang ending
first period, he was off and on his way upstairs to english. Third period
was Gym followed by science, lunch, study hall and finally history. When he
arrived in history he stopped at the teachers desk and told him what had
happened and requested an early release to be able to collect Heath's
homework assignments before any teachers left for the day. he then went and
took his seat. He had not signed up for any sports and had planned to later
in the week when the person sitting next to him asked if his girlfriend
said it was ok for him to play. Jeremy looked over at the person sitting
next to him and noticed it was the running back from the football team and
a friend of his. Jeremy said what are you talking about. Sterling said I
head your girlfriend got hirt and you were taking care of her. Jeremy
turned beet red, stood up and him so hard he knocked Sterling of the seat
and on to the floor. He stood over him and said if you ever talk to my that
way again I will beat you to a pulp. With that Jeremy picked up his books
and headed for the door. The teacher said come back here but he left the
room and headed for Mr. Warner's office because he knew he was in
trouble. He sat outside the office and waited to see Mr. Warner. When the
door opened he walked in and sat down.  He looked at Mr. Warner and started
to tell him what had happened but he broke down and started to
cry. Mr. Warner came around his desk and sat in the chair next to
Jeremy. He said that he had talked to Heath's mom and she told him
everything that had happened, she also told him all that Jeremy had done
since he came home from the hospital. Mr. Warner took a hold of Jeremy's
face and turned him so that he could look him in the eyes. Mr/ Warner told
Jeremy that he completely understood his reaction and not to worry that we
would handle the situation and that Jeremy could stay as long as he needed
to compose himself. You should be very proud of yourself. Jeremy said that
he had to go get the assignments to bring home for Heath. Mr Warner said
for him to go ahead and go but starting tomorrow all he would have to do is
to come there and Mr. Warner would have all the assignments waiting for
him. Jeremy stood up and extended his hand and it was taken bt Mr. Warner
they shook and jeremy left the office and headed for the classes to pick up
Heath's homework.

     Jeremy finally had all the assignments and was leaving the school when
he was approached by several of the players on the football team. they
walked up to him and they told him that the next time something like that
happened he would have to deal with his teammates. Jeremy looked at
Sterling and said I know Most of the guys on the football team as well,
they all know me and they all know heath as well so I don't think you
should be shooting of your mouth. Sterling looked at Jeremy and said you
had better watch yourself because this is not over. Your girlfriend will be
taking care of you before to long. Jeremy said any time you think your man
enough let me know. Jeremy started to walk away and Sterling said tomorrow
we will settle. Jeremy turned looked at Sterling and said have your way.

     While Jeremy was on his way home his cell phone started to ring. He
looked and saw that it was Heath.  He answered it and asked what was
up. Heath said that he tried to get up to go to the bathroom but lost his
balance and fell. Jeremy said I will be there in 5 minutes. Jeremy hung up
the phone and ran as fast as he could and when he got to the house he
opened the door and was upstairs in no time. when he went into the room he
saw Heath laying on the floor. He ran over to him and asked if he was
alright. He looked up and said he was fine but that he had hit his face on
the side of the bed. Jeremy said let me see. With that Heath turned and
Jeremy saw that he was holding a rag up to his face and said you are not
alright let me see what's going on here. he gently took the rag away from
his face and noticed that his nose was swollen and it looked like he had
two black eyes. Jeremy was starting to panic because he did not know what
to do he stopped took a couple deep breaths and said let me help you to the
bed. Once there Jeremy ran into the bathroom got a cold wet face cloth and
brought it back and told Heath to hold it on his nose. Jeremy ran down
stairs called Heath's mom told her what happened and she said to call the
Fire Department and that she would meet them at the hospital. Jeremy hung
up the phone then called the fire department, wrote a note put it on the
door that said come in and upstairs. Jeremy ran back upstairs and checked
on Heath it looked like the bleeding had stopped so he got a change of
cloths and told Heath the fire department was on the way and that they were
taking him to the hospital just to play safe, that his mom would meet them
there He then started to take Heath's cloths off and then put the clean
ones back on him. The fire department arrived and after checking Heath out
they were on the way to the hospital. Jeremy stayed at the house so that he
could clean up the floor and take care of the bloody cloths. Once that was
done he called Heath's mom and asked how thing were. Heath's mom said that
he indeed did break his nose but it would heal back just fine and that
there was nothing tom worry about. She said that they would be home
shortly. Jeremy said that he had put dinner in the oven and cleanup the
room. It look like Heath, his mom and dinner would be done at the same
time.

      After dinner Heath and Jeremy went upstairs. Jeremy showed him all
the assignments he had. Then he turned away and broke down again. Heath put
his arms around him and held him tightly and whispered in his ear, Babe go
ahead and let it out you have earned it. You have been busting your ass
waiting on me hand and foot. I think you need to get out and have some
fun. Jeremy turned and said I feel so helpless I can not be here 24 hours a
day to protect you. I feel like I have let you down. Heath pulled Jeremy's
head on to his shoulder and said there is no way you could ever let me
down. I am the one who let you down.  You are 15 years old and you have
been taking care of me like I was a baby. Jeremy looked up and smiled and
said you are my baby. I am such a fool you know what I feel fine now and we
will get through this and laugh about later. Heath asked how was your day
at school. The look on his face told a dark story that Heath was afraid to
ask. Jeremy half smiled and said don't worry I will work it out. With that
they sat there in each others arms and while Heath was holding him Jeremy
had falled of to sleep. He woke a little while later and said sorry. Heath
just smiled and said I bet that was the best sleep you have had in a while.
Jeremy smiled and said thats because i was really comfortable. It was
getting late and like it or not Jeremy was going to have a full day
tomorrow. He got up and started to get ready for bed. When he was ready he
helped Heath get ready as well. He leaned over Heath to kiss him goodnight
when Heath said I want you to sleep with me tonight. Jeremy looked at him
and said are you sure I don't want to crowd you or any thing. Heath said
that if he was going to br crowded he hoped it would be you. Jeremy said
that if that was what Heath wanted then thats what he will get. Jeremy
looked at the clock and it read 10:30. He went over and turned out the
light and came back and climbed into bed with Heath.  He said goodnight and
Heath said goodnight and please take off your boxers. I want to feel you
naked against me while I sleep. Jeremy removed his boxers and in jsut a
matter of minutes Jeremy was sound asleep. Heath just laid ther hold his
boyfriend and was thinking to himself that he could hardly wait till when
he would be able to really show Jeremy how much he Loved him.
