    Pride and Love Chapter 7

   Jeremy woke from a very sound sleep, totally refreshed and ready for the
day ahead. The day started as every other day with Heath holding on to his

two classes so he could take care of things. He arrived at school and went
to Mr. Warner's office to drop off Heath's homework and asked Mr. Warner

student to asked to skip classes bt since things had been going good at
school he was given permission. Mr. Warner said he would contact his first

     Jeremy headed for his car. He saw Sterling but as promised he left him

away. He pulled up in front of the jewelers. Parked the car and went

the school and Jeremy said I will meet you out back I have to go get
dressed.

   Heath walked around the school and as he did he ran into some friends
that were really glad to see him They asked him how he was doing and when
he would be returning to school, Heath told them he felt fine and that he
was starting school in January. They all said good-bye and he headed for
the bleachers. He sat there about 10 minutes before the team came out of
the locker room and on to the field.

   Jeremy was wearing number 20 and was in the middle of the group as the
were going through a light workout with just pads and helmets lots of
running and lots of calisthenics,the practice was only about 1 1/2 hours
long, the coach blew the whistle called all the players in told that there
was practice tomorrow, and then told them to hit the showers. Heath waited
about 20 minutes for Jeremy and then they walked to the car. When they got
to the car Heath noticed that there looked like a ticket under the

        They pulled into the drive and they both got out of the car. Heath
got to the door first and pushed it open almost hard enough to slam it
closed, Jeremy knew that this was not going to be easy. Heath said hi to
mom and dad and headed upstairs. meanwhile Jeremy seemed to be lost. He
asked mom what he should and she replied what happened Jeremy told her the
