     The three boys being up rather late the night before where still sound
asleep at 8:00 on Saturday morning. Jeremy who was sleeping between Heath

dad and he met them at the Golden Corral. The boys really packed the food
away.  Jeremy went for the steak at least 4 times. Heath must have eaten
three dozen of the rolls. Nobody could ever say that the boys did not get
their monies worth. They left the Golden Corral about 9:15 and finally were
on their way home. Mom look at Jeremy through the rearview mirror and could
see that he was in pain.  She asked him if he was OK and he said that he
had some pain but would OK until he got home and took his medications When
they got home Jeremy reached for some bags and Heath said you go in and
take your pills I will bring this stuff in.

      Heath and mom brought all the stuff in and when they were finished
mom saw Jeremy sitting on the couch she again asked him if he was ok. He
just smiled. She went over and felt his forehead and it felt like he had a
fever. She asked him if he took his medication and he said no that when he
came in he felt dizzy so he thought he should sit down. Mom said that maybe
you pushed yourself to much today. Go upstairs and take your medication and
I will be up in a few minutes to check on you. Jeremy said mom you don't
have to do that, she said I want to make sure you are OK, I don't want up
to miss the Disney trip. He stood up smiled at her then gave her a hug and
headed upstairs. Mom turned to Heath and said you go help him he seems like

carried him upstairs. Heath laid him on the bed, he started taking of his
cloths and got him ready for bed, he got his medications and some water to

before.  Mom looked at Heath and said you keep an eye on him. Heath said
mom last night he was tossing and turning and yelling out on his sleep. I
don't know what was wrong but as soon as I pulled him to me and held him he
calmed down the remainder of the night. Mom said that he was likely having
a bad dream about his leg.  Heath said I will watch him. Mom left the room
and closed the door behind her. Heath got undressed and turned off the big
light, climbed into bed and turned on his small reading light and started
reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. He had not read any for a
while but he figure that he could sit here and read for a while until
Jeremy was really sound asleep. He looked at the clock and it was 1:37. He
decided to turn of the light and go to sleep, as he put the book down on
the nightstand, Jeremy yelled out again.  it scared Heath and Jeremy sat up
in bed shaking, Heath said Jeremy are you OK, Jeremy looked over at Heath
with tears in his eyes and said " PLEASE HOLD ME" Heath moved close to him
and put his arms around him and rocked a little and said Jeremy you are
safe here with me. Try to sleep now I will make sure nothing bad
happens. Jeremy leaned into him and was sobbing very quietly. Heath just
held him and rocked him in his arms.  Heath was settling up against the
headboard with Jeremy resting on his chest. Heath must have fallen asleep
because when he looked at the clock again it read 4:48 Jeremy was now

that the bad dreams were over for the night. Heath thought to himself I
will sit up the rest of the night just to make sure. Heath, however, not
used to being up that late was asleep in a few minutes. The morning had
come and gone and both boys were still sleeping. Mom has been checking on
them once every hour to make sure that everything was OK.

     Finally Jeremy started to stir. He slowly sat up and stretched. He
noticed that Heath was still sleeping He gently got out of bed and got
dressed and opened the door and almost ran into mom. She said good you are
finally awake. How do you feel today. Jeremy said that he felt much better
but doesn't remember much about last night after they left the Golden
Corral. Mom said you clean up, take your medication and come down stairs
and I will fill you in. Jeremy had done everything and headed down stairs
to find mom sitting in the kitchen having a cup of coffee. She asked what
he wanted to eat and he said just a bowl of cereal will be fine, After she
got the cereal she sat down and told him all that had happened. Jeremy
looked embarrassed, mom said don't worry about it you had a full day and
probably pushed yourself to much and not taking your pills did not help. He
asked what time Heath went to bed and she said I think he was up most of
the night keeping an eye on you. He looked at mom and said you know I love
him him so very much. Mom said you don't have to tell me I see it when you
two are together and I am so proud of both of you.

     Jeremy sat around the family room watching TV when he looked up and
saw Heath standing there. How long have you been there. Heath said just a
couple minutes. Heath came over and sat down beside him and said you know
nothing bad will ever happen to you while I am here. Jeremy looked very
confused, and said what are you talking about. Heath said last night you
sat up in bed looked at me with tears in your eyes and said to me "please

and said wait here, He went into the kitchen and asked mom for the box he

him now. She said I will go get it wait here, she ran upstairs and came
back with the box in her hand She gave it to him and said Jeremy you are

Jeremy smiled at mom turned around and headed for the family room. He walk
in and sat down next to Heath and said I was waiting til Wednesday, your
birthday to give you this but I want you to have it now. He handed the box
to Heath, he opened it and was at a loss for words, he took both chains out
of the box and then handed one to Jeremy. Jeremy saw him look up with tears
in his eyes and he said I will never take it off.  The day went by rather
quickly due to the fact that they did not get up until afternoon. Mom
called them into the kitchen and said it was time for dinner. They ate and
then headed upstairs to their room and closed the door. They got undressed
and were laying on the bed in their boxers holding each other and planning
out what they were going to do at Disney. Heath looked at the clock and it
was already 11:00, He looked at Jeremy and said I think you should go to
bed you have school tomorrow. Heath got up opened the door went into the
bathroom and came back with a glass of water so Jeremy could take his
pills, he took his pills and rolled over to go to sleep. Heath said Jeremy
I am right here and I will protect you. Jeremy turned over and kissed him
lightly on the lips and said what did I ever do to deserve you. Heath
kissed him back and said with a laugh in his voice, You only deserve the
best. They both said good night to each other and went to sleep.
