This isn't the story for you.


Well, hope everyone is enjoying. Sorry it's been a
while.  I am going to try and post new stories once a
week. I'm planning on having a new one every Sunday.
Thank you everyone for the responses.  I'm really glad
to hear that some of you are saying you can relate to
one of the characters.  That was one of my main goals
in doing this story.  There's Alex, who's the ultimate
nice guy (this is the one that most people have been
saying they relate to). Then there's Jeff, who's the
ultimate bad guy, he's the little devil inside us all,
so in a way many of us can relate to him to, he's the
inner devil that we can never let out or all hell
would break loose.  Then there's Ray, who's not fully
developed yet, but will eventually take the mold as
being a mix of both Alex and Jeff.  And just another
reminder that thsuposes is meant to be on the corny
side. It's supossed to be like a soap opera type
thing. Well anyway, Here is part 4.

"IT FEELS GOOD TO BE BAD"

****JEFF****

     I was out driving around when I decided to drop
by Ray's place to put my plan into action.  I knocked
on the door and Ray opened it up.

"What do you want?" Ray asked

"I have to talk to you." I replied

Ray then let me into his place.

"What is it?" Ray asked

"I wanted to know if you've told Allen about why I
left." I said

"For the second time, his name is Alex." Ray replied

"Oh, sorry, I'm so bad with names." I said smiling

"And no, I didn't tell him." Ray said

"Why not? I think he should know the REAL you." I
replied

"Listen, I can hardly be blamed for my actions then.
After what you did to me-" Ray began but I cut him
off.

"After what I did to you?" I asked appalled "That
wouldn't have happened at all if you had spent more
time with me."

"Don't try and throw that on me." Ray retorted

"Why not? Isn't it true that you were the one that
made me leave? Isn't it true that I had to leave
behind everyone I cared about?  And isn't it true that
you made threats towards me if I didn't leave?" I
asked

Ray went silent.

"Looks like you've put yourself in a sticky
situation." I said

"Get out." Ray replied

"Fine." I said heading towards the door. "Maybe I'll
go pay Alex a visit."

"And what are you going to say to him?" Ray asked
coming up to me and grabbing my arm.

"Wouldn't you like to know." I replied

"You tell him anything about that and I'll kill you."
Ray said

"Is that a thsomething4; I asked smiling

"Okay, listen, what do you want? Money?" Ray asked

"I want somthing far more valuable then that." I said

"What is it?  I'll give it to you if you just leave me
and Alex alone." Ray said

"I want revenge." I replied

"That's why you came back isn't it?" Ray asked "It
wasn't because you wanted to be friends again. You
came back to get revenge."

"Of course.  Do you honestly think I came back here
for your friendship?" I asked

"You son of a bitch." Ray replied

"I'll be seeing you." I said then I turned away and
left.

When I closed the door I got a big smile on my face.

"For once Ray, it's your turn to be afraid of me." I
said to myself

As I was leaving Ray's apartment building I noticed
Mrs. Calkins, Ray's neighbor, walking her dog. She was
about 65, nice woman.

"Hi Mrs. Calkins." I said

"Jeff.  My goodness I haven't seen you in so long."
Mrs. Calkins replied

"Well, I^Cbusiness out of state for a while." I said
"How's Mr. Calkins?"

"He's doing great." Mrs. Calkins replied

"His bussiness going well?" I asked

"Yes, it's going very well." Mrs. Calkins replied

"I'm so glad to hear that." I said "So how are things
with you?"

"Oh, changing by the minute. I'm going to move with
Mr. Calkins to a house in the Beverly Hills area."
Mrs. Calkins said

"So, your apartment will be for sale?" I asked

"Oh yes dear." Mrs. Calkins replied

****RAY****

I have to find a way to stop Jeff. But how? He's
ruining me.

I just started to pace around my place for about 15
minutes.  I didn't know what to do, I felt so torn.  I
could loose Alex is I tell him, but I can't risk Jeff
telling him.


somethingg I really only had one choice I picked up
the
phone and dialed Alex's cell.

"Hello?" I heard Alex's voice say

"Alex, it's me.  I need to tell you somthing.  Will
you come over now?" I asked

"I'm at work." Alex replied

"Oh yea, I forgot.  Will you come over after?" I asked

"Sure. What do you need to talk to me about?" Alex
asked

"I'll explain when you get here." I replied

"Okay." Alex replied then we hung up.

I sat down on my couch and rubbed my forehead.  This
is giving me such a headache.  I can't believe what
Jeff is doing to me.

****ALEX****

After I hung up from Ray, I finished putting some
tapes and DVD backs on their shelves, no one was in
the video store, but that's typical for a Saturday
morning. Then on the way back to the check out counter
I saw Jeff walk in.

"Oh no." I said to myself

"Alex. There you are." Jeff said coming up to me

^Csomethings it?" I asked

"I just wanted to stop by and say hi." Jeff replied

"No you didn't." I said coldly

"Oh?" Jeff asked

"Yea, you came down to throw sfeistyg at me to make me
break up with Ray." I replied

"Oh is that so?" Jeff asked

"Yes. So, why don't you just save it and get out of
here?" I asked

"You're sure a fiesty thing aren't you?" Jeffsomething


"I don't have time for your crap." I replied "I'm
working here."

"Yes, working at a video store involves so much
concentration."somethingetorted

"Jeff, let me tell you somthing.  I don't know what
you came here for.  I don't really care why you came
back into Ray's life.  I don't know you well, but I
know you well enough to know that you have somthing up
your sleeve.  And I know you're trying to hurt Ray.
So, as any good boyfriend would say to protect the guy
he loves, I am going to fight you.  I am going to do
whatever I can to make sure that you stay out of our
way." I stated

"Is this the part where the drums of war start playing
speech I should be running away in fear?" Jeff asked

"If you're smart." I replied

"Well, let me tell you this.  You don't scare me.  You
don't intimidate me.  You don't even have enough
effect to make your stupid little speach you just made
cause me to get shivers." I began "So, if it's a war
you want.  Believe me, you'll get it."

"Then let the games begin and when the war is over, I
hope you remember who declared it." I said

"Very well." Jeff replsuposeturned to leave.

I was about to head over back behind the counter when
Jeff yelled out.

"By the way, why don't you ask Ray why I left?" Jeff
suggested "I think you should get to know the real Ray
Carrindale."

"What's that supossed to mean?" I asked

"Let's just say that your beloved Ray isn't as great
of a guy as you make him out to be." Jeff replied then
he left.

"Son of a bitch." I said as I watched him go.

****JEFF****

"This just gets better and better." I said to myself
as I drove away frchoicee video store.

I went back to my place and Taylor was there.

"What are you doing here?" I asked

"I wanted to know how things were going." Taylor said

"Things couldn't be more perfect at this point." I
began "I made it so Ray has no chice now, but to tell
Alex the truth about why I left."

"And what are you going to do if Alex still wants to
be withlurer?" Taylor asked

"That my friend, is where you come in." I said

"What do you mean?" Taylor asked

"Well, after Ray tells Alex.  I'm almost certain that
Alex will need some time to think things over, and
while he's doing that you will swoop in and luer Alex
so that he ends up breaking it off with a lot" I
replied

"How much do I get for doing this?" Taylor asked

"Money, money, money.  You're so greedy Taylor." I
said smiling "But don't worry.  You'll be paid well
for this.  I mean, you will probably end up kissing
that nitwit, just doing that deserves alot of money."

"I believe that Alex works at the video store on
weekends so he'll be there tomorrow.  So, I want you
to go there tomorrow because I think that Ray is going
to tell Alex tonight." I said

"All right." Taylor replied

"Oh and I haven't even told you the best part of my
plan yet." I said

"What's best part?" Taylor asked

"Hold that tforward." I said as I picked up the phone
and dialed a phone number

****ALEX****

I just got done with my shift.  I got in my car and
called Ray.

"Hello?"

"Ray, it's Alex.  I'm on my way over okay?" I said

"All right." Ray replied

"So, will I be looking foward to this conversation or
dreading it?" I asked

"Well, I don't think you'll be jumping for joy." Ray
replied

"Is it serious?" I asked

"I'll explain when you get here." Ray replied

"Okay." I replied then hung up.  Now, I'm started to
get nervous about this conversation.

****JEFF****

I was on the phone.

"Yes, Mrs. Calkins?" I asked "Hi, it's Jeff."

****RAY****

I was so nervous, Alex will be here any minute and I
don't know how I'm going to tell him.

Then there was a knock on my door.

"Well, ready or not." I said to myself then I went to
answer the door.

"Is that you Alex?" I called out before I opened the
door.

"Of course." I heard Alex reply

"Okay." I replied

"Hey Ray." Alex said as I opened up the door.
something#34;Hey Alex." I replied then greeted him
with a kiss.

"So what's up?" Alex asked as he came into my place.

"Well, I have to talk to you." I replied

"Yea, I know.  About what?" Alex asked

"About Jeff." I said

"What?" Alex asked "Why?"

"Because, you need to know somthing." I replied

"I don't care about Jeff." Alex said

"But you care about me right?" I asked

"Of course." Alex replied "But, I just don't like
Jeff. He actually came to see me today."

"He what?" I asked worried

"Yea." Alex replied

"What did he say? What did he want? Did he say
anything?" I asked

"Whoa, what is this twenty questions?" Alex asked
smiling

"Sorry, but what did he say?" I asked

"Just that, I should ask you about whya lotleft." Alex
replied

"He did?" I asked

"Yea, but I don't need to hear it." Alex replied

"Actually you need to hear this." I said

"Oh, okay." Alex said

"Come on, let's sit down." I said and we went and sat
down on my couch.

"It was about a year ago." I began "I was working alot
then, and well I was with Jeff at the time."

"Ray you don't have to explain anything about your
past relationship to me." Alex said

&#somethingI do.  I have to explain this one." I said

"Why?" Alex asked

"Because you might not want to be with me when you
find out what I did to Jeff." I replied

I looked at Alex's face as it turned into almost a
worried look.  Was he scared of me now?

"Alex, please don't look at me like that.  You look
like you're scared of me or somthing." I said

"I'm sorry, but I don't know how else to react when
you said I might not want to be with you after you
tell me whatever it is you have to tell me." Alex
repliedsurprise
"I'm sorry." I said

"So what's up?" Alex asked concerned

"Okay, it was about a year ago." I began "Jeff and I
were living together.  I was working a lot and Jeff
was getting restless.  He was mad at me that I was
working all the time and that I didn't appreciate him
anymore.  Well, the next day I got off of work early
so I was on my way home to suprise him and take him
out, but when I got back back to our place.  When I
came in I saw him in our bedroom...with another man."

"Why are you telling me this?" Alex asked

"I'm not done yet." I replied "Anyway, I got furious.
I grabbed the other guy and I beat him up and then
literally threw him out of our place.  Then I went
back to the bedroom and I started to hit Jeff also.  I
finally told him to leave.  I told him to leave and
get as far away from me as he could."

"So, that's why he left?" Alex asked

"It gets worse." I replied "You don't know how I can
get when I'm mad.  The next day Jeff came up to me in
a cool fashion and said that he was going to sue me
for assault if I didn't take him back.  I wouldn't
hear of it.  To make the long story short.  I paid off
his friend to keep his mouth shut, and I made threats
towards Jeff if he didn't leave and if he did try to
sue me.  Jeff's rich so he was able to leave the state
with out a problem with money.   And I told him before
he left that if I ever saw him again...I'd kill him."

"Oh my God." Alex said quietly

"So now you know." I said

"I have to go." Alex said getting up

"What? Why?" I asked worried

"I just, there's stuff I have to do." Alex said
heading towards the door

"Alex." I began and I grabbed his arm, but he jerked
his arm out of my grasp.

"Don't." Alex said

"You're scared of me now?" I asked "Alex, I would
never hurt you."

"I just don't know you." Alex said "Here you seem like
this perfect guy to me and then I find out about this
and I see this whole other side to you. I mean, all he
did was cheat on you and you go and threaten to kill
him?"

"Alex, do you know how much that hurt me when I saw
him with that other man?  I went insane.  I got
pissed."  I said

"And you also pay people off too?" Alex asked
"just because your rich doesn't mean you can do that
to people to get what you want."

"Alex, you have no idea how much Jeff hurt me." I
replied

"Yea, I get that, but that still doesn't give you the
right to do that." Alex said

"I know and I feel bad about it, but-" I began but
Alex cut me off

"I have to go, I have to think." Alex said storming
out of my apartment.


"Dammit." I said to myself. "I swear Jeff, if Alex
breaks up with me, I'll get you for it."

****JEFF****

"No, I don't need to look at the place. No, I don't
care how much it cost either.  I'll take it. I'll come
by tomorrow with a check." I said then I hung up.

"So, are you going to tell me what that was all
about?" Taylor asked

"As I was leaving Ray's apartment building today I ran
into his neighbor down the hall and her place is for
sale now." I said "Or, it was for sale, since I just
bought it."

"You did?" Taylor asked

"Yes, I told you. I wanted my revenge.  I'm moving
in." I said with a victory smile on my face.
