Subject: Scott and Alex (chapter 3)
Don't read if you can't, simple as that.
Thank you so much for the outpouring of support! You've all been great.
PLEASE keep it coming! I'm motivated mostly by what people think of my
work, and I hope you all can send me compliments, critisism, or you could
just say hi!
Scott and Alex chapter Three
Scott led me downstairs, into his, well, our new apartment.
"Holy shit" I muttered under my breath. It was furnished in a
modern, but comfortable, almost chic, but still masculine feel. It had dark
wood floors, and the walls of the entry room were a toned down lime
green. It had a very open floor plan that led into the family room that
contained vaulted ceilings, modern artwork, and an awesome blue color to
the walls, with an accent wall painted the same color as the entry way. The
room had a plush, comfortable cream couch and a cream chair by a white
brick fireplace. We went on into the kitchen, to find an extremely modern
kitchen, painted in a rust orange color, containing a lot of stainless
steel mixed with deep woods, which blended with the continuing dark wood
floors. The kitchen had a breakfast room next to it in the same style. The
breakfast room led into a living room, a cozier affair than the family
room, it had book cases, and a nice ski-resort style fireplace as the focal
point instead of the hanging 59" plasma screen in the family room. It was
painted a warm yellow, and had nice cozy furniture. Scott led me back
through the kitchen, out of the kitchen through an arch, and back into the
family room.
"What do you think?" he asked, eyes questioning.
"It's? do you remember the episode of Queer as Folk we watched last night?
The one where Brian
bought that huge house, and proposed to Justin?" He nodded, hid head
cocked to the side, in a
questioning manner. "Do you remember what he said?" I asked
"No?"
"You bought a fucking palace!" He remembered after I said that.
"For my prince." He replied smiling.
"Now come on, there's something I want you to see" said Scott. He grabbed
my hand, and led me
through the entry hall to door on the opposite side of the family room
arch entry. He swung it back to
reveal the master suite. My jaw dropped. This place was a hotel room. It
had a platform style bed
with a cool blue comforter, and tons of creamy and blue pillows. It had
the same dark wood floors as
the rest of the house, but it had area rugs in cream with blue stripes.
The walls were a soft blue.
There was a brick fireplace, and a couch facing it. There was another
couch facing a plasma screen,
and there were French doors leading to the outside. This basement was an
exposed one, and the
French doors of the converted master lead into a private patio area,
complete with fountain and
loveseat. We went back inside to check out the master bath, which was
amazing, with a glass shower
and a separate bath.
"So. Can you live with it?" Scott asked, eyes twinkling.
"Well?you come with it right?" I asked coyly
"Mmmmm? That could be negotiated." He said, turning me around, and wrapping
his arms around
me.
"Then I'll take it."
****************************************************************************
The girls thundered down the stairs, but knocked before they entered the
atrium.
"Hold on!" we yelled in unison, throwing clothes on. Scott finally
figured out he was putting on my
pants, which explained why the jeans were so tight all of a sudden. (For
all you perverts out there,
we were sleeping. I promise.)
"No wonder I can't get into these pants, they're yours!"" Scott laughed.
"Well duh," I said, and then inspiration struck. "You'll never be able
to get into my pants if you force
it."
Scott rolled his eyes.
"BOYS! HURRY UP." Trina shouted.
"HOLD THE FUCK UP!" I yelled back. Scott just looked at me and laughed at
my red face.
"Ooh, someone's angry!" Brianna said, "we must have interrupted them
having-"
"Interrupted them using their anniversary gift." Trina interrupted,
laughing.
And I solemnly swear we were not.
****************************************************************************
"So?" said Scott, undressing me slowly, kissing down my neck. "What are we
doing tomorrow?"
"Mmm, staying in bed all day?"
"No, really?" He asked, as we climbed into bed.
"Well, I have a gymnast practice scheduled tomorrow at four."
"On a Sunday?" Scott groaned.
"Yeah, I'm really sorry."
"No, it's cool. Shit."
"What?"
"I have a football meeting with the coach, to go over some stuff before
the game on Monday. It'll be
over at like 7:30, it starts at 5, but you'll be at practice."
"Well, my practice lasts until 7, so I'll just wait by the willow tree
next to the parking lot till you're
done."
"Okay."
****************************************************************************
That practice was hard. Oh man I'm sore all over. But here I am, waiting
for Scott to show up. I
check my watch. 7:05. Someone's a tad impatient. Guess I'll just sit and
wait. The willow tree's
branches swayed in the wind, as I sat on the mossy ground, leaning
against the old tree. It was
peaceful, and one of my favorite places to be. It was around the corner
from the parking lot, so no
one could see me. Maybe I'll just sleep.
****************************************************************************
"Hey Alex?"
I woke up from under the willow tree, but instead of seeing Scott, I saw
Lindsay.
"What the hell do you want?" I said scathingly. But when I saw her face
fall I backed off. She looked
wounded, hurt, not physically, but emotionally. It didn't even look like
it was because of what I just
said, but it seemed like she carried the weight of the world on her
slender shoulders.
"Are you okay?"
"Um, yeah?No."
"Come sit down."
She had a gash on her cheek that looked swollen and purple, and her
skimpy white shirt and denim
mini skirt were stained with blood. Her blonde hair was askew, parts of
it in a ponytail that looked
several days old. Something was wrong, because she usually prizes her
appearance above all else.
She sunk to the ground, tears staining her face like liquid silver being
mixed with the mascara from
her eyes. She didn't say anything, but rested her head on my shoulder. We
sat in silence.
****************************************************************************
"Alex?" Scott walked up, bewildered as to why my sister was sitting with
me, asleep on my shoulder
no less.
"Can we bring her to your house?"
"What, but? Is she okay?"
"No."
"Will she mind sharing a room with Jen?" That's why I love him, he
doesn't even question me.
"Something tells me she won't"
****************************************************************************
"Lindsay? Hey, you awake?" Jen asked softly.
Lindsay sat up, her hair a mess. She looked around, to see that
she was in a large room,
obviously a girl's from the make-up and vanity in the corner, and the
posters of boys on the walls.
"Are you?"
"Jen, Scott's sister."
"Oh right? where's Alex?"
"Alex! Scott!" Jen yelled suddenly. We stumbled in from the hallway.
"Hey Linds." I said my voice soothing.
She started crying into Jen's shoulder.
"Maybe its best if you guys go. I think this is a time for just us
girls."
"Since when did you and Lindsay become best friends?" I demanded.
"Baby, I think she's right." Scott said.
Lindsay continued to cry softly?
"Why don't you two go to that club you wanted to go to?" Jen asked.
"What?? Are you kidding me?! We aren't-"
"Okay, come on sweetie."
"WHAT?"
"Alex?just go." Lindsay said, finally regaining some of her composure.
"No! I'm-"
"Alex, Jen's right. I need to talk to a girl about?" and then she burst
into tears again.
****************************************************************************
I was finally mellowing out. Scott had me in our apartment, and gave me a
slow massage, telling me
that everything will get better, and that Jen will help Lindsay more than
we could. I finally started to
believe him.
"Let's go to that club."
"REALLY??" I had wanted to go to that new gay club PENITANCE in the city,
but you had to be 18, and
Scot refused to get me in (He knew the bouncer, at least until now. Hell
yes, I was going to my first gay club!
"You have a half an hour, go get yourself ready." He helped me up,
slapped my ass, and I was off.
****************************************************************************
An hour later (trust me to take twice as much time as I should...),
there I stood in a black button up shirt, with a blood red freeform design
across the bottom coming up to the chest area. It was tight, and unbuttoned
at both ends, exposing my upper chest and my stomach. I had black nails,
crazy spiked hair, and even a thin layer of black eyeliner. No, I'm not emo
people; I just think it looks hot. Scott was dressed in a white button up
shirt, tight with splashes of black. It was tight, and buttoned similarly
to mine, and the sleeves were cut off. I had on tight black jeans that were
more ripped than not. Scott had on jeans, but my favorite part was his
black cowboy hat. He should just wear that and nothing else. Except that's
illegal. So, my cowboy and I are off!
****************************************************************************
"You having fun?"
"WHAT?"
The noise was deafening, and so many people were putting the moves on me
at once, it was insane.
Scott was his usual protective self though, and while he couldn't stop
everything, if someone went
too far they got the stare of death.
"YOU HAVING FUN?"
I looked at him quizzically.
Scott took my hand, and dragged me over to the bar.
"You having fun?"
"Heck yes!"
Here we were all hot and sweaty, bumping and grinding? dancing kicks ass!
"Good!"
****************************************************************************
"So Lex, whatcha think?" Scott grinned as we stumbled out of the club at
midnight.
"Mmm...I don't think you should take that hat off. Ever!"
"Mmm, okay. As long as you dress like this every day, makeup and all."
"You think I look okay in it?"
"You look?" Scott groaned "?amazing."
Scott's shirt was off, exposing his nicely formed chest muscles, and
biceps.
"Feel 'em." He winked. Oh shit, he caught me staring.
"Nah?I saw some hotter ones inside, yours are pretty tame?"
(Oh what a lie?)
"You little shit!" He grabbed me, and slung me over his shoulder,
carrying me to the car.
"Oh shit."
"What?" he asked.
"We forgot about Lindsay."
"No we didn't. Jen wanted you out of the house till at least midnight."
"And you knew this how?"
"It doesn't take ME an hour to get ready."
"HEY!"
"Let's go home Lex" You have no idea how amazing it was for me to have a
home finally, one I could
ALWAYS look forward to returning to.
"You gonna put me down?"
"Nope."
"Just don't drop me."
He chuckled.
****************************************************************************
"And then he?did it." Lindsay collapsed into Jen, crying her heart out. Jen
looked helpless, and I'm
sure Scott and I did too. Scott's parent's looked thoughtful, and
disgusted at the same time. What
happened to Lindsay was horrific, and the appropriate steps needed to be
taken.
"Lindsay, tomorrow I'm going into the child protection office to get
guardianship of Alex."
We were all surprised, but pleasantly so.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yes, it's just so that you can live here until you at least turn
eighteen, and your father will have no
legal jurisdiction over you."
Scott held me closer.
"Good." Scott said.
"The reason I'm saying this, is Lindsay, is well? I'm offering you a place
to stay here, since your
brother will be here. We have an empty suite since Scott moved out. We're
going to get you some
help," he said, eying the gash on her face "and you'll be safe here."
Lindsay nodded softly. "I'd like that."
"All right kids, time for bed." Mrs. White said gently.
Did you like it? Hate it?
