The following story may contain sexual situations between teen-age boys.
If this offends you, what are you doing here? If reading this means you're
breaking some narrow-minded rule, then don't get caught. I hope you enjoy.

A SECRET LOVE

Forward

This story has a prequel of sorts. It is called "Seduced by Youth" and can
be found in the Adult-Youth section. If this would be of interest to you,
then you may want to read it first. This story does stand on its own
though, so you won't be lost if you don't. This particular chapter doesn't
include any sex, but don't despair. We'll get to that later.

Chapter 1 - The New Kid in Town

Matt stood on the mound staring down the batter with his incredible green
eyes. He wound up and threw one of his best fast balls. He blew it right
past the batter for strike three. The batter pounded his bat on the plate
and walked away.

The catcher threw the ball back. "You're looking great today Matt."

"Thanks Dan," Matt replied. He was quite proud of his athletic ability,
but rarely showed it outwardly. Matt eyed up the next batter and began
psyching himself up for the next one-on-one battle -- and this was only
practice.

Of course this wasn't just any practice. It was the first practice for
summer baseball. These were the best players from all over the area and
their competitive nature ran high. After only two weeks of practice they
would be taking on other all-star teams from the mid-west and north-east
part of the country. This team was made up of 13-16 year olds from
northern West Virginia and Matt was easily the best pitcher in the area.
He knew some of his teammates very well as he had played with them in the
past. Others he only knew vaguely, but there was one thing he felt he knew
for sure. That was that none of them were quite like him. Matt was gay,
not that anyone knew it.

It had only been about two months since he had his first sexual experience
with a man. Yes, a man - not a boy. None the less, this one-time
occurrence had confirmed in Matt's head what he had been struggling with
for three years - that he preferred boys to girls. But he certainly wasn't
ready to share this information with his friends - a bunch of jocks who
enjoyed making fun of anyone who was different from them.

As the next batter stepped up to the plate, Matt's concentration was broken
by a new arrival. A metallic blue Corvette was pulling into the area
behind the backstop. Matt stood up to admire this beautiful machine and
knew he wasn't the only one as he heard his teammates in the field start to
make comments. A man stepped out of the driver side as the coach said,
"Get back to practice boys."

The coach walked over to meet the driver near the car as they went back to
practicing. In between pitches, Matt watched the two of them talk. After
two pitches, the count was even and Matt watched as the driver opened the
passenger door and a boy got out. He was wearing a ballcap pulled down in
the front obscuring his face partially. To add to the mystery he had long
black hair falling out from under the cap covering the right side of his
face down to his cheek. The man who had driven him here placed a hand on
his shoulder and said something then urged him forward with a light push in
the back. While this all unfolded, Matt had thrown two more balls, putting
him way behind in the count. As the coach led the way around the backstop,
Matt refocused himself on the game. He threw a perfect curve that the
batter didn't even swing at to bring the count to full. As the catcher
threw the ball back, the coach called the outfield in.

"Boys, this is Jesse. His family just moved here from Florida and his
father asked if I would let him try-out for the team. We've got one spot
still open, so we're gonna see what he's got. Jesse, go find yourself a
helmet and bat. You can hit next."

As everyone headed back to their positions, Matt heard someone say, "I
can't believe this fruit is gonna be on our team."

Jesse kneeled down next to a helmet and removed his hat. When he swept his
hair back, Matt had to catch his breath. He found himself looking at an
angel. An angel with a perfect tan and delicate features - plus something
else. Jesse had apparently heard that comment too, because he was glaring
right past Matt at first base. Matt couldn't pick out the color of his
eyes from this distance, but he could definitely feel the intensity coming
from them.

Still distracted by the vision waiting on-deck, Matt threw a rare wild
pitch that sent the batter diving to the ground.

"Jesus, Matt -- be careful, it's only practice." Coach was bellowing from
the dugout area. "Are you OK, John."

"Yeah Coach, I'm fine," John replied as he got up and dusted himself off.

"Sorry Coach," Matt said. "Sorry John."

"Don't worry about it man," John replied heading for first base.

The coach nodded at Jesse and he headed for the plate. Matt could tell now
that Jesse was kind of short - probably about 5'5". Matt checked over his
right shoulder to see how far John was playing off then looked back to the
plate and threw heat right down the middle. Jesse just watched it go by
for strike one. Matt went for the curve next and threw one that dropped
nicely to the lower, outside part of the strike zone. Jesse stepped into
it and caught the ball on the end of the bat sending it into right-center
field for an easy base hit.

"Nice stroke dude," Matt heard Billy, the first baseman, say.

"Thanks," Jesse replied. Matt nearly melted. That single word seemed to
float across the field to his ears. His voice wasn't deep, but had a
slight scratchy sound to it that made it seem deeper. Despite the
scratchiness, it also had a softness that made it quite sexy.

Matt wasn't sure what was going on in his head. He knew how he felt about
guys, but he'd never felt like this before. A warm feeling spread through
his chest that was both soothing and discomfiting at the same time. How
could some kid I've never seen before make me feel like this was all he
could think. His pitching suffered as a result and after a couple of
batters, the coach pulled him to try someone else.

"What's wrong with you Matt?"

"I don't know Coach. My stomach is kinda bothering me. I'll be OK
tomorrow."

"All right, take a break. We're almost done anyway."

After a few more batters, the coach called everyone in. "Tomorrow the real
work starts. Today was just a chance for you all to settle in. Tomorrow
we'll be running and doing some drills so come prepared to work. Everyone
take a minute to introduce yourselves to Jesse, then you're on your own
until next practice."

Everyone said hi to Jesse and shook hands. It seemed he was being accepted
by everyone despite the hairstyle that might have been cool in Florida, but
just didn't fit in here. Meanwhile, Matt was hanging back, not sure if he
could handle being that close to the boy that for some reason had his
stomach tied in knots. Finally, when he was the only one left, Matt walked
over to Jesse.

"Hi Jesse. I'm Matt. You really whacked one of my best curves."

Jesse extended his hand as he replied, "Nice to meet you Matt."

As Matt shook his hand he caught his first close-up look at those eyes that
held so much intensity earlier. They were a deep, dark blue that while
they no longer held anger, were no less intense. He got lost in those eyes
for a moment then realized that hand-shake had been going on a few seconds
too many. He released Jesse's hand, but as their hands separated Jesse
drew a single finger across Matt's palm. The feeling was almost electrical
and Matt faked a cough to cover-up the gasp that overtook his body.

"I'm a pretty good hitter, but catching that curve was partly luck. Oh, by
the way, you can call me Jess. Only my parents and other adults call me
JessEEE."

Matt's voice cracked a little as he said, "You got it Jess."

"Well my dad's waiting," Jesse said and smiled as he headed for the
Corvette that had attracted so much attention.

Jesse's father looked over at Matt, then got in the car and drove away.
Matt just stood there for a moment. Everyone else had left and he was glad
that he had a mile walk back home. He needed some time to think.

Matt started walking, but quickly decided he didn't want to think about it
right now. Instead he decided to run and try to work out the frustration
he was experiencing with these new feelings. He was in the habit of
running five miles at least every other day, so a mile would be easy. In
about five and a half minutes he was walking through the door of his house.

"Hey Matt, how was practice?" It was his dad which was unusual since his
parents were divorced and he lived with his mom. Not that his parents
hated each other, they actually got along much better now that they didn't
live together, but his dad wasn't at the house very often.

"It was good," he replied, heading for his room. He stripped off his
sweaty T-shirt and tossed it in the corner. He started to grab a new shirt
and decided against it. The cool breeze outside would feel good. "I'm
gonna go to the creek."

"OK."

Matt went out the back door and headed across the yard to the woods that
bordered their property. A short distance through the trees was a small
stream where Matt sometimes went fishing. There wasn't a whole lot of
fish, just some smaller ones that swam up from the Ohio river, but today
Matt was just looking for some privacy. He sat at the edge of the creek
tossing stones into the water and trying to sort out his feelings. He
couldn't figure much out though because the image of Jesse's face kept
breaking his train of thought. After a while he decided to walk and headed
upstream to a spot where the stream curved sharply away from the area where
the houses stood. There was a large tree that had fallen creating a bridge
across the stream. Matt walked out to the middle of it, removed his shoes
and socks and pulled up the legs of his sweats. He let his feet dangle in
the water just past his ankles and continued to picture the face that
wouldn't leave him alone.

Jesse had to get away from his parents for a while, so he decided to go
explore the neighborhood. He'd only been here about a week, so he knew
very little about the area. His mom told him to be careful not to get lost
- what was he, a baby? He lived in the middle of a street that dead-ended
at a line of trees. A walk in the woods seemed like a good idea. He
wondered if there would be snakes or anything in the woods. In Florida, he
had lived in Miami, right in the city, so he really didn't know what to
expect. He wandered aimlessly through the woods which seemed pretty
harmless. Trees, some birds and a squirrel were the only things he saw.
Of course, there were snakes, but nothing poisonous and they didn't show
themselves very often. He heard the sound of water flowing and looked up
to see a small stream about fifty feet ahead. There was a fallen tree
laying across a bend in the stream and a boy sitting on it with his feet in
the water and his back to Jesse. Jesse just stood and admired him. Brown
hair, cut short left his neck exposed. His shoulders were broad atop his
lean torso and his arms were not extremely muscular, but defined. Jesse's
eyes followed the boy's spine down his smooth back to the waistband of his
sweats then back up. As he got back up to the boys head, he suddenly
turned around and looked at Jesse. Jesse immediately recognized Matt from
practice. He was surprised he hadn't recognized him before, since he found
him to be incredibly cute.

"Jess? What are you doing here?"

"Hey Matt. I just live up there on Ridgewood. I was wandering through the
woods."

"How long have you been standing there staring at me?" Matt asked
defensively.

Jesse had been approaching Matt and he stopped in his tracks at this
accusation. He was sure he had gotten a positive vibe from Matt earlier,
but this didn't support that thought.

Jesse got defensive himself. "I just walked up here and saw you, then you
turned around. I'm not staring at you."

Matt swung his legs over the log to face Jesse. "I'm sorry Jess. You just
surprised me. I was thinking and didn't expect any company."

"What were you thinking about?" Jesse began to move toward Matt again.

"Nothing really."

"Doesn't seem like nothing to me."

Jesse had reached the fallen tree and walked out to sit by Matt.

"Look, I just don't wanna talk about it. I hardly know you."

"OK, that's cool. Can I ask you a question though? It's kinda personal."

Matt wasn't sure where this was going. All he really knew right now was
that without a hat on Jesse's hair looked incredibly sexy as it fell just
over the corner of his right eye and down his face. The other side was
brushed back, exposing his beautiful, well-tanned skin.

"You can ask, but I may not answer."

Jesse's tongue came out a little to wet his lips and he bit his lower lip
for a moment. This was a risky move, but he had to take it.

"Are you gay?" Just that simple and straight-forward.

A look of shock and fear crossed Matt's face. He turned his head forward
away from Jesse and asked, "Why the hell would you ask me that?"

`OK, here we go,' Jesse thought then said, "Please don't hit me or
anything. I'm gay and I think you're cute and I got the feeling you were
attracted to me too so I had to find out."

Matt snapped his head around and Jesse cringed back away from him.

"Are you serious?" Matt asked with a touch fear still in his voice which
Jesse mistook for anger.

Fear spreading across his face, Jesse barely croaked out, "Yes."

Matt saw the look on Jesse's face and his heart broke a little. A single
tear rolled down his cheek and he simply said, "Yes." Jesse just looked at
him, not sure what he meant. Finally Matt spoke again. "Yes, I'm gay.
Yes, I'm attracted to you. Yes, yes, yes to everything."

Jesse leaned forward and threw his arms around Matt so hard they nearly
toppled off the log. Matt stabilized them and then put his arms around
Jesse, one hand running through his hair.

"Thank God," Jesse said through tears of joy. He squeezed Matt as hard as
he could then leaned back and looked into Matt's eyes. They slowly drifted
toward each other until their lips met and they kissed each other gently.
"I'm so glad I was right about you."

Matt used the hand in Jesse's hair to pull him back in. As their lips met,
he turned his head slightly to the right and probed at Jesse's lips with
his tongue. Jesse's lips immediately parted, giving Matt access to his
mouth. He began to investigate Matt's mouth with his own tongue and they
shared a passionate kiss. A kiss that seemed to go on forever and yet not
long enough.

When they finally separated, Matt turned his head away and quietly said,
"Jess."

"What?"

"No one knows about me, except for you and my Uncle Dave. I want to keep
it that way."

"That's fine with me. In fact I prefer it that way. I had a boyfriend in
Florida and my parents caught us together. They couldn't handle it.
That's when we moved here. I guess they thought if they took me away from
it, I would change."

"Do you miss him?"

"A little. Boyfriend is probably too strong a word. We were friends and
we were experimenting. I'm not even sure that he's gay. But yeah, I do
miss him."

"I'm sorry you had to go through that."

"It's OK. I better get headed back before they come looking for me."

"Me too."

They walked hand-in-hand back up to where their two paths met. "See you
tomorrow at practice," Matt said.

"Yep," Jesse replied as he went up on his toes to plant a kiss on Matt's
lips.

Reluctantly, they went their separate ways. There wouldn't be much sleep
for either of them tonight.

That's it for right now. More chapters to follow as quickly as I can get
them done, but that varies with time constraints and how quickly my brain
works. A special thanks to all those who read "Seduced" and asked for
more. That's the only reason this story is here. All comments and
constructive criticism welcome and I will try to reply to all. Thanks.
