"They have ten minutes to get here before I am gone Cameron. I don't care
what you and Susan talked about last night. Why did she call back anyway?"
Seth inquired as he paced in front of one of the many wooden benches that
were scattered throughout the park. Well actually it was more like a small
grassy undeveloped area in the midst of cookie cutter neighborhoods and
apartment buildings with a few small patches of trees and bushes sprouting
around the paths.

"She wanted to talk to you about exactly what time to be here. She said 10
am so I am surprised she isn't here." Cam responded as he watched his
brother pace. "Calm down this isn't a date."

"Yeah I know. I'm not nervous because of that. I feel like there is
something else going on. Remember what we discussed! If it looks like
things are going bad bail me out please!" He practically begged his
brother who just grinned wickedly at him.

"I guess I could do that. How long do you think we are going to be here?
I had plans today you know." Cam was sprawled out on one of the benches
himself and the actually looked a bit alike today. At least in dress.
They were both wearing cargo jeans and some sort of simple shirt. Cam's
shirt stated he was 'The Smart Twin', and Seth never denied it, and Seth's
shirt was the same black in color but his read 'I tried to be good but I
got bored'. It fit him perfectly too, the quote I mean.

"What going to go find yourself a nice married-"

"Shut it Seth that only happened one time. I seriously didn't know. There
was no ring in sight."

"Whatever home wrecker." Seth teased as he stopped his pacing and leaned
against the side of the bench tapping his foot nervously.

"Why are you so worked up? You don't even like Susan, who could possibly
go wrong hanging out in the park?" Cam asked exasperatedly, feeling
absolutely fed up with his brother's taught nerves.

"I don't know I just am. I get the feeling that I'm being set up. Here
she comes!" He practically squeaked as Susan walked into view. Tight blue
jeans and a tight shirt, the normal Susan dress to show off herself.
Cameron rolled his eyes at his brother and got up from the bench Susan
reached the pair.

"Hey Seth, hey Cam. I didn't expect you to be here. I thought you were
going to go hang out with my sister today?" Susan had the biggest grin on
her face as she gave them each a hug and took a seat on the bench.

"I'm just leaving you have fun you two. I'm guessing Samantha's still
home?"

"Yeah. Bye Cam." She waved him off as he disappeared down one of the
paths.

Seth clambered onto the bench sitting on the back of it and looking down at
Susan. "So what did you have planned for today? I hope you didn't call me
out here to listen to the birds." Seth quirked an eyebrow at her as he
said this and felt a bit of nervousness at the smile that flashed across
her face.

"Don't worry I have something fun planned, or at least I hope its fun. We
just need one more person. A friend of mine I managed to talk into
coming." Susan sat back on the bench and leaned her head off to look up at
Seth. "So how did you talk Cam into being your little wingman for this
rendezvous?"

Seth blushed at that and laughed nervously looking down at his hands. "I
just asked him. He owes me after I saved him from that bad date with
Sammy's friend Crystal." Seth laughed shakily in remembrance of the crazy
night out.

"Oh yeah...that was bad. Sammy doesn't even like to think about that one.
So what is Cameron hiding and waiting to save you when things go bad?"

Why are things supposed to go bad?" Seth asked with just the slightest
hint of paranoia in his voice. "I hope you're not trying to set me up!"

"Oh well...you see...In a way I am." Susan muttered and now looking quite
flustered herself as she averted her gaze from Seth's now fuming gaze.

"Susan I told you I don't need your help finding dates. You don't know
what I am into anyway." Seth told her very matter-of-factly. "Remember
9th grade."

"This is going to be different I promise, and it isn't the kind of set up
you're thinking. Or at least I don't think it will be. Not unless you're
hiding something from me." At this they both gave each other weird looks
and were quite intent upon each other's own gaze and trying to decipher
hidden meanings behind the other's brown eyes when Damien round one of the
paths and came into view. Now if Susan had been looking she would have
thought he was showing off. Jeans that weren't too tight but not too
loose, a white undershirt again but this time visible as the rest of his
torso was covered by light blue shirt that hung unbuttoned from his
shoulders. It all really looked good on him, especially with his hair
actually taken care of. It was trimmed a bit and gelled back into a messy,
spiky look.

As his booted feet crunched on the gravel in front of the bench both looked
up. Susan's eyes went wide and she couldn't help but smile knowingly and
Seth nearly fell over backward at the sight of the tall guy there looking
all made up. "Oh fuck no! You invited this...this...thing?"

"Excuse me? Thing? Susan you better stop him. I said I would do this but
I also said I would no be responsible."

"Both you calm down! What are your issues? Seth I invited Damien because
we need to have a bit of an intervention here. I am tired of the fighting
between you two. I am stuck being around both of you and I am not going to
be ripped apart with this childish bickering."

Seth just sat there glowering at Susan and Damien and finally got up. "You
know what we weren't friends before you lying bitch and we aren't friends
now." Seth began walking down the path not expecting anymore than Susan
yelling but when Damien grabbed the back of his shirt and yanked him on
this back on the gravel path he was definitely surprised.

"I am going to kick your ass you little punk. No one talks to friends like
that." He raised his fist to punch Seth when a body connected solidly with
his side and he went rolling off. The two new combatants tussled on the
ground. It wasn't until Cam had Damien down on his back that Seth was able
to figure out what happened. Damien struggled as Cam held his wrists and
Seth got up looking down at him.

"I'm out of here." He grumbled leaving his brother to deal with Soccer
player who had almost beat the living shit out of him. Susan just stared
at all three before throwing her hands up in the air and muttering her own
curses as she walked off. Damien watched this from the corner of his eye
before looking up at the face above him. Cameron had a busted lip and
Damien's nose was bleeding but besides a few other scratches from rolling
in gravel neither were really hurt. "Who the fuck are you?" Damien spat
angrily up at Cam. The twin released Damien's wrist one the other two were
out of sight and stood up brushing himself off and put a hand to his
slightly swollen slip.

"Wow you got a hard head. I'm Cam that was twin you were trying to beat
the shit out of. I would have let you but you know he's my brother."
Cameron explained as he wiped the blood on his jeans.

Damien just stared at the guy before him, as his mind seemed to reel. The
guy was cute and so far he seemed like he might have a sense of humor.
That was still up for question as was the idea that he might have the same
attitude and personality as his brother. "Well I wish you had. He
deserved a good ass beating after what he said about Susan." Damien
grumbled as he lifted himself up and brushed off his pants and shirt.

"You must be Damien. The guy he got into a fight with in class." Cameron
smirked as he recognized this and shook his head at the thought. "You
don't seem the ass hole type he makes you out to be." Cameron told Damien
truthfully as he took a seat. "Then again Seth has been know to blow
simple things way out of proportion."

"Yeah tell me about it. Me and him were supposed to just talk and try to
work out some kind of agreement over these things." Damien explained as he
took a seat beside Cameron so far finding nothing bad about him.

"Him and me."

"What?"

"Him and me. You said me and him. It should have been Him and me."
Cameron corrected. "Sorry I want to be an English Major in college so I am
constantly correcting grammar." Cameron muttered as he waved off the
correction like it was nothing.

Damien decided to drop it for now as he pulled off his torn blue shirt
gazing sadly at it. Nice clothes for him were hard to come by since he had
to buy them himself most of the time with his money from work. Sometimes
he got money from his dad, a sort of allowance, or he was able to steal
something from his mom's drinking money, but normally he had to earn it.

"Hey dude I am sorry about the shirt, oh and your nose is bleeding!" The
second was said with more surprise. Damien quickly touched his nose and
cursed as Cameron practically pounced on him again. "Lean you head back.
Come on lean it back." Cameron tilted Damien's head back by his chin and
pinched the bridge of his nose helping to try and staunch the blood flow.
Damien cast a look of confusion up at the blonde's face as the guy hovered
over him, knees up on the bench and helped him take care of the nose.
Damien began to notice small things about Cam in that moment. The heat
from his body and how nice that body was, Cam's scent that proved he was an
outdoorsy guy, and the gentle but strong hands that were helping him out.

"Um...dude...I've had a bloody nose before. I think I know what to do."
Damien stated though it was low, almost like a whisper.

Cameron quickly stopped and looked down at Damien pulling back his hands,
as he looked in the upturned face that was actually smiling at him. Then
there were those eyes. Cameron blushed as he turned his gaze from the
beautiful blue eyes. "Sorry I just felt bad. I think that happened when I
tackled you. I thought I felt something hit my shoulder." Cam had sat
back down by now and the blood had pretty much stopped so he lifted his
head and turned his eyes to the blond beside him.

"Well mother it is quite alright. I think I will just skip on home and
clean up." Damien laughed as he spoke giving Cameron a goofy grin as he
continued to hold the bridge of his nose.

"Well if I am your mother then I should be able to order you to stay right
here and hang out right?" He asked following off of Damien's joke.

"You could but I am a rebellious teenager so I wouldn't listen."

"Well then how about if I ask you as just a cool guy and a friend."

"Hmm...I might consider it then." Damien grinned as he spoke to Cameron
enjoying this bantering back and forth. "If you hadn't admitted to it I
would have never thought you and Seth were related. You two are nothing
alike." Damien confessed his thoughts as he removed his hand from his
nose.

"We're more alike than you seem to think. Or at least in one area or two.
You know he couldn't stop talking about you that day after the fight. Had
nothing but bad things to say. I was expecting some ass hole, or some
large oafish jock. You are definitely not what was brought to mind
though." Cam said, as he looked Damien over.

"Well I'm glad to hear that I went above and beyond expectations. I should
be getting him home though now that this park date is practically ruined.
My drunken mother might be expecting me also. She'll probably need me to
go get her some more cigarettes or something." Damien sighed as he spoke
and stood up stretching his arms in the air to loosen the muscles.

"Park date ruined? I thought it was just starting. I guess I was wrong."
Cam mumbled as though he was talking to himself. The words made Damien
spin around brow furrowed as he gazed at Cam. Blue eyes focused on green
as the two athletes stared; one just waiting and the other trying to figure
out what was going on.

Damien sat back down still giving Cameron that confused look. "You know
don't you?"

"The moment Seth said you were friends with Sammy and Susan. I talked to
her and asked about you and she said you hadn't dated either of them. I
can't see any guy just wanting to be friends with a girl like her or her
sister, not unless they weren't into girls that is." Cameron explained.

Damien just laughed and shook his head as he focused on his boots and the
gravel beneath them. Cameron put a hand on Damien's back and leveraged
himself off the bed. "Let's had back to my place Damien. Hang out a bit.
I had plans with Sammy today but we changed them and she went to school so
I stayed with Seth again to watch him. Mom's orders. So it should be
pretty quiet there. I doubt Seth will bother us if he is home."

Damien didn't quite know what to say. He had come to make nice with Seth
but was instead hooking up with his twin. He would have to thank Susan for
trying this little intervention seeing as it paid off so nicely. "Sure
dude lets go." Damien got up and the two set off towards Cam's house.

It wasn't too long of a walk which explained why Cam and Seth were there so
early. The pair walked through the door laughing and gesturing together
happily as they discussed some of their finer moments in life. "Come on
upstairs." Cameron led Damien upstairs to his bedroom. They passed by
Seth's which was again back to one bed. The other visible beneath the
taller one. Cameron's room, right down the hall, only had one twin sized
bed. "Seth took the hide-away like you saw a few years ago because he
always his friends over and they use the two beds when they want to stay
all night." Cameron fell onto his bed as Damien admired the house.

His small apartment was two bedrooms, one bath, a living area, and a
kitchen. At this moment he was standing in a two story, four bedroom
house, with a full kitchen, 2 and a half baths, and a living area along
with an attic to boot. "This house is nice." Damien muttered having seen
most of it coming up through the main room and up the stairs. He took a
seat admiring the laptop on Cam's computer desk.

"Yeah the place is nice." Cameron admitted as he smiled at the awe struck
Damien. He had figured by this reaction that Damien's dress was to cover
up a probably bad lifestyle. He had already mentioned his drunken mother
after all and since it was only like 11 in the morning it meant she was
probably an alcoholic.

"Hey Cameron who are you talking to." Seth called from his room. Damien
hadn't seen him there but he hadn't been able to see the whole room either.

"It's Damien." Cameron called out and there was a snort from the other
room and the door slammed shut. Cameron rolled his eyes as he got up and
closed the door himself before turning to Damien. "Sorry man he can be a
real asshole sometimes."

"Don't worry. I should just go since it seems I am causing trouble."
Damien muttered a bit disappointed as he stood up from the chair.

"You are not going anywhere." Cameron ordered as he came and stood before
Damien. They were only about an inch apart in height. Cameron stood there
staring Damien down and Damien stood there looking a bit put off by the guy
right in front of him. Before he could make a move to get around him
though Cameron had leaned forward and kissed him. Damien was caught off
guard by the kiss and actually pulled back from it. "Shit I-" Cam's words
were cut off as Damien jumped back into the kiss and the two started up a
mix of roaming hands and rubbing tongues.

Seth got up from his desk and paced a moment lost in thought. He didn't
know what to do. He clenched his cell phone in one hand and the other was
balled in a fist. Susan refused to talk to him until he could act
civilized around Damien. He couldn't though. The guy was a jerk and had
been a jerk since the moment they met. Seth sighed and rubbed his temples
as he thought of the soccer goalie right across the hall. He was cute...no
hot, and Susan talked about funny and playful he could be, and how cool he
was to hang out with. Seth never got to see that though and some part of
him made him wish he could see that.

"Alright I am going to do it." Seth decided as he stood up and opened his
door walking down the hall. He was determined to talk to Damien, and make
nice. He could handle friends with the guy. That would be good enough for
him. Or at least that was what he though until he opened the door to his
brother's room and spotted Cameron and Damien on the bed. They were both
shirtless and Damien was on top of Cam and they were making out like they
were determined to suffocate with their lips mashed together. "I can't get
a break!" He hissed to himself as he slammed the door shut causing bother
Damien and Cam to snap out of it.

"Seth!" The pair thought at once. Damien jumped up and grabbed his shirt
hurrying to get out feeling so embarrassed. Cam was hurrying for another
reason. He was supposed to be dating Sammy not making out and almost
screwing another guy in his bed. Cameron could not believe he hadn't
locked the door. He darted out not even worried about his shirt as he
chased down his brother. He stopped at the end of the hall banging on the
locked door to his room. "Seth! Open the door Seth!" Cameron ordered not
noticing Damien hurry by and leave until the front door had opened and
shut.

Cameron stood there patiently waiting until the door opened and Seth stood
there almost in tears. "Bro what's wrong? It was just me and Damien why
are you crying?"

"I'm frustrated that's why. Can me and you talk?"

"Yeah Seth sure what's wrong?" Cameron asked as he walked in and gave his
brother a hug.

"It's about Damien." He pushed the door behind Cameron closed and the lock
could be heard clicking home as the two got ready for a nice long chat.
