This is the first story I've ever written, I wrote it over the
summer of last year and my writing skills have grown immensely. Although
this is my first story I've wrote, I have published other stories on here
and am currently working on one. Under the high school section, I have the
One or the Other, which is a current project; Hayden's Story; and GAvin's
Got Game. Under the college section, I have The After Party. The latter
three stories all contain sexual content.

you all!

It was now the beginning of March and Spring Break is less than a
month ago. As far as I know, prom went pretty well except for Amy and DJ's
argument on the middle of the dance floor. DJ asked the DJ, I know that's
kinda fun, to play their song. DJ then had the nerve to walk up to Amy and
ask her to dance. At first Amy decided that she should try to at least be
friends with DJ, but that all ended when Evelyn came up and asked DJ when
she wanted o leave.

So yeah that's what caused the huge blowout. In other news I'm
single again. I talked to Noah the day after prom and he was okay with
it. I then told him about AJ liking him. He knew who AJ was and decided to
look into that. Thankfully things went great and they're dating now. AJ
really doesn't like hanging with us because he's more athletic. So he hangs
with his friends and Noah hangs with us usually. But there are those times
when Noah and AJ are together all day and I don't see Noah outside of
school.

Some other things have happened too. We've lost two members of our
crew. It seems like we were only a phase for Drew and he went back to his
old buddies. He said there was nothing wrong with us, it's just he didn't
really blend in. Avery has also left the herd. Apparently our break up was
"too hard" on him and he decided to leave. I then soon figured out he was
back with Leo and Leo forbade him from hanging out with me since Avery and
I dated. I really didn't care but it kinda hurt that Avery chose Leo over
all his friends like that.

"Hey Shawn", Amy shouted. "Jay found out that his parents won't be
able to use their cabin. He was wonder if you guys would like to use it
since Jay, Ginger, and I already have plans."

"No one would let us go without adult supervision. Are you that
stupid?"

"Nope, I know that most of the parents won't allow it but I know if
Mom, Tommy and Tyler's mom, Layla's parents, Blake's parents, and Noah's
mom all sat down and talked, they would probably come to an agreement on
what you seven would do. Blake is a junior anyways. I'm sure that everyone
excluding Blake's parents would think he is responsible enough." I laughed
because I've seen Blake around his parents and he acts like an 5th grader
most of the times.

"Yeah that might work. But I'm not sure."

"Whatever. I tried. If you change your mind ask Tommy to ask
him. I'm sure Jay would let Tommy do whatever he wanted." That brings me to
another thing. I tried to tell Tommy about the way I felt for him, but I
failed miserably. Tommy and Jay are still dating and I'm trying to get over
it.

"I know. It's just like if I wanted to go somewhere I would just
ask you since I have copies of all the pics you have on your phone."

She looked at me with fear and anger in her eyes. "What?!"

"You heard me." I actually didn't. I just guess at things to say to
black mail her now since it's so easy.

She sighed. "What do you want?"

"Layla and Blake want me to meet them at the mall. Layla said it
was important."

"Fine." She rolled her eyes. "Get your snooping little ass in my
car and I'll be out there in a second. And if you show mom or dad those
pics I swear I will kill you."

	"Is that a-"

"No. It's a promise." She ran upstairs to fix her hair and shit. I
just smiled and walked out to the car. Hopefully I'd be able to keep
messing with Amy until she left for college. It's no fun having to do
everything on my own. She's like my own little servant now.

"You have to help us Shawn!" Layla said when I walked up to her in
the mall. Blake was nowhere in sight.

	"What is it?"

"I'm tired of Blake's wardrobe. It's the same thing over and over
again. So I decided to make him buy some new clothes. He doesn't like what
I pick out so I need your help to add some masculine touches."

At least she thought I had a sense of style as was masculine about
it. "I guess I'll help. But this isn't an emergency you know."

"Well I love clothes so Blake has to have many things he can mix
and match because I notice everything!"

"Okay, okay. Anyways where is Blake?"

"He's trying on some shoes. Come with and I'll take you to him."

When we arrived at the only shoe store in the mall, I could see why
Blake didn't like her choices in clothes. Blake is a man's man so he likes
things that are loose and dark and masculine and comfy. Layla chose skinny
jeans, v-necks, and toms for him. Something I know Blake would never
wear. Now I wouldn't complain about the skinny jeans or the toms of they
were for me, but Blake isn't me.

After about an hour of shopping, I finally was able to help Blake
find clothes he liked that Layla liked as well. It was hard since both
their styles clashed. I think Layla was more satisfied with Blake's
purchases because she held power over him and was able to tell him what he
wanted. It was kinda cute to see Blake do what Layla says in the beginning
but now it seemed that Layla was just controlling him and pushing him
away. I would have to talk to her about it.

While we were there we also ran into DJ. She was in the lingerie
section with Evelyn. They were laughing and holding up the skimpy outfits
and pretended to be sexy. I still remember when DJ and Amy did that. Now I
felt kinda sad about all the shit I've said about DJ and Evelyn
dating. When the person you hate does something it always annoys you and
that's what happened to me. But now I decided to see DJ as a person and not
a cold hearted bitch.

"Hey Shawn." DJ said as she saw me passing by.

	"Hey DJ."

"How's Amy?" She actually looked sincere this time. Thankfully
Evelyn was at the counter purchasing the lingerie they were looking at.

"I think she's doing okay. She really hasn't said much to me about
what's going on in her head. She usually confides in Ginger and Jay now."

"Oh. I see." It was silent. "Tell her I'm really sorry about what I
did at prom. I hope one day she'll be able to accept the apology and try to
be friends again."

I smiled. "That would be nice." This is was the first time I was
actually looking forward to seeing DJ. She smiled and said she had to go
when Evelyn waved at her. Layla started commenting about how ugly Evelyn
looked and how her spray tan made her took sticky. I agreed with and the 3
of us continued shopping.

"Hey, Shawn, would you like to come over?" Blake asked. Layla was
changing into something too expensive for her to buy like every girl does.

"Umm sure. But it's going to be dark in like 2 hours."

"Then stay the night." He said. I've never stayed the night at
Blake's before. I was only over there for his birthday two weeks ago. "I
feel like we've been friends since like the first day of school but I've
never really opened up to you. I'm over at your house almost every weekend
though and I think it's time I invited you over."

I smiled. "Thanks, Blake. And yeah I will stay at your place. But
please remind your sister to not hit on me." She's in the 8th grade. "She's
cute but totally not my type."

He laughed. "Yeah, I'll tell her. You know all she did was talk
about how cute you were when you came over for my party."

"Still. I'm gay and she's not a he so it won't work out."

"Whatever you say, bro." He winked and laughed. Why do I have to be
the one that's always teased with? Is it because I blush easily? Maybe
because I was blush right now and Blake started laughing harder.

Soon Blake had dropped Layla off and we were on our way to my house
to get an extra set of clothes. Mom said it was okay as long as I was home
by tomorrow. I was happy to be going to Blake's because I really didn't go
to anyone else's house.

When we got there his mom and dad greeted me with open arms. His
sister also hugged me. Blake had to use the grip of death to pull her off
me. He then led her off into her room so they could talk. That left me
alone with Blake's parents.

"So Shawn, how is your mother doing?" Mrs. Huntington asked.

"She's doing great. She's been meaning to call you guys and see if
you were able to come over next weekend to celebrate my dad's homecoming,
he left last week to Buffalo for a business conference."

"We would love to, Shawn." Mr. Huntington said with his big
smile. He's a little on the hefty side but not by much. He kinda reminds me
of Santa but with dark colored hair. His wife is the complete opposite. She
is thin and has very light blonde hair. But now some of that blonde was
turning gray. "So how are things with this Tommy kid? Blake tells us you
two are dating."

"I'm actually single, sir. Most of my friends say that Tommy and I
have this connection but as of right now he has a boyfriend and I'm trying
to move on."

"Sometimes you can't give up, Shawn. It took me three years just to
get a date with this little lady right here." He pulled her into him and
kissed her on the cheek. "She kept saying no even though I asked on a
weekly basis. Every Sunday afternoon right after church let out."

"I never found him attractive so I kept pushing him off."

"But one day I decided to pull the deadliest trick in the book. I
grabbed her by the waist and pulled her in for a kiss. Ever since that day
we've been together. She even had a boyfriend when I kissed her like I did
in public."

"I remember having to break up with him. It was so hard because I
actually had feelings for him. But there were fireworks in that kiss. It
was the best kiss I've ever had."

"Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Huntington, but Tommy is dating a friend of
mine so I couldn't do that to them."

"I see what you mean sport." Mr. Huntington said. "But don't give
up on him if you are in love with him. Put your wants before others when it
comes to happiness." Right then I didn't know how much those words were
going to affect me.
