This is the first story I've ever written, I wrote it over the
summer of last year and my writing skills have grown immensely. Although
this is my first story I've wrote, I have published other stories on here
and am currently working on one. Under the high school section, I have the
One or the Other, which is a current project; Hayden's Story; and GAvin's
Got Game. Under the college section, I have The After Party. The latter
three stories all contain sexual content.

Today is the first day of finals. We have half our classes
today and the other half tomorrow. That night is the graduation for the
seniors. All of us except AJ are going. He has to leave for his
grandparents house tomorrow after class is over.

"I can't believe that I'm almost going to be done with high
school." Jay said. We were all sitting at the lunch table together.

"I can't believe Tyler is going to be a sophomore. I just knew
he'd fail miserably this year and end up repeating." Tommy said.

Tyler put his arms around Jen and I. "I would have if it
weren't for the most beautiful girl in the world and Jen."

"Damn right!" I said. "No girl at this school is as hot as I
am." Everyone started to laugh.

"That Hailey chick is pretty cute." Blake said. I can't believe
he's still dumb enough to talk about other girls when Layla is around. She
was about to smack him on the arm when he corrected himself. "But she's an
ridiculously ugly ass bitch compared to you Layla." She scoffed and smacked
him on the arm. "What was that for?"

"She's like my best friend outside of the group!" Layla
said. Blake sighed and we all laughed at them.

Soon the bell rang and we all said our farewells. Before long
everyone except me, Tyler, Tommy, and Jen were gone. Jen, Tyler, and I go
to first together but Jen was busy getting her things together so Tommy and
I said our farewells.

"I'm gonna miss you so much babe!" Tommy said as he hugged me.

"We're gonna see each other at lunch babe. And then tomorrow
we'll be together for four nonstop hours." Today we had 1st, 3rd, and
5th. Tomorrow we have 2nd, 4th, and 6th. Tommy and I have 2nd and 4th
together so we would only see each other during lunch today.

"I know that. But I'm use to seeing you right after 1st
period. I don't know if I'll make it through the day." He said smiling.

I looked around to make sure there weren't a lot of people
around. I leaned in and gave him a nice big wet kiss. "That should last you
until lunch hopefully."

"I don't think so." He said grinning. We kissed once more
before Tyler and Jen were telling me to hurry up. Tommy and I said goodbye
one last time and we went our separate ways.

"I actually think I'm gonna do good on this final." Tyler said
as we entered the classroom.

"You better. I've been working with you forever now!"

"Shut up! You only helped me with like three things!"

"There's only 3 different parts in this final dumbass. Grammar,
writing, and reading comprehension."

"What about that one thing where you read a passage and have to
answer questions based on the passage?"

"Like I said. Reading comprehension. You're lucky there isn't a
section on defining words you're suppose to know. You'd be fucked."

"Like you were the other night when Tommy and I were over?" He
nudged me and winked.

"Shut up!" We each sat at our desks. The teacher passed out of
finals. It was 50 questions and an open response. Tyler would never be able
to do all this in two hours. It takes him an hour just to diagram 10
sentences.

At first it was easy. We had to read a passage and answer 10
questions. After about three passages, for the last 20, we had to find the
parts of speech. There wasn't any diagramming so I hope that Tyler will
finish this test. For the last part, we had to write a page length essay
about anything we wanted to. That wasn't hard for me since my imagination
never went away, but both Jen and Tyler had trouble with writing.

It took me about one and a half hours to finish the whole
test. Jen and Tyler both finished with only five minutes to spare. They
were the last two so Mr. Sizemore let us talk the last bit of class.

"That was so hard!" Tyler shouted. He was the first to speak.

"I thought it was pretty easy."

"Well you're a fucking genius, Shawn. I don't understand any of
this stuff. I swear Mr. Sizemore doesn't teach! All he does is bitch and
gripe!"

"I know someone who does the same thing about his class." Tyler
flipped me off and I laughed.

"Leave him alone, Shawn!" Jen said. "How would you like it if I
insulted you about your problem in science!"

"I don't have a problem with science. I'm actually really good
at it. It's just-"

"You have a staring problem." She finished my sentence. "A
problem is a problem."

"Yeah, you're right." I sighed and gave up. I knew she was
going to win no matter what I said.

"Tyler, I'm sorry English isn't your best class and I made fun
of you because of it. I promise to be a better friend and all that shit." I
turned to Jen. "Better?"

Before she could say anything, the bell rang. We all packed up
our things and went our own ways. I headed to social studies with Noah,
Blake, and Layla, while Tyler escorted Jen to Psychology then went to his
science class.

"Hey there!" Noah said as I approached him and AJ. They were
standing by his locker.

"Hey. How's everything in Noah and AJ Town?"

"Perfect. As usual" AJ said as he kissed Noah bye. "I'll see
you after school. Okay?"

"You know it." He smiled as AJ walked off.

"You two are totally in love."

"I highly doubt that. 95% of high school relationships never
work out. I'm just going along with the flow."

"Flow. Shmow. I can see it in your eyes. You two are in
L-O-V-E." We walked into social studies and saw Blake and Layla already in
their seats.

"I promise you that we're not in love."

"Blake. Layla. Tel Noah that he's in love with AJ and vice
versa."

"You two are in love." Layla said.

            "I don't know." Blake responded.

"Yes you do, Blake. Now tell them they're in love." Layla said.

"The only thing I know is that I'm in love. Layla, your beauty
keeps me from realizing anything else in this world. So if I fail this
final, I blame it on love."

She smiled. "It also could have been where you decided a stupid
hockey game was more important than our study date."

"Like I said. Love." She smacked him on the arm and Noah and I
laughed as we sat down beside them.

This test was way different from my last one. This test is 120
questions long and we only had 2 hours to finish it. Thankfully Noah is a
wiz in social studies so when I was confused I just looked over at his
paper and wrote down the same answer he did. Either he didn't care or he
didn't notice because he left his answer sheet where I could clearly see
all his answers. Once the tests were all handed in, Mr. Wright went to go
grade them. He came back in with the freshly graded answer sheets about 5
minutes after he left. So nothing bad happened.

The lunch bell rang and we all headed to lunch to meet up with
the rest. "How are your finals going?" Amy said as her, Ginger, and Jay sat
down at our table. Their lunch and our lunch were combined so people could
have more time on their tests. Sure the lunchroom was crowded but it was
for a good cause, right?

"Good so far." Ginger said as she sat down. "I think I'm
keeping all my As."

"Same here." Jay said. He isn't a super genius like Amy,
Ginger, AJ, and Layla, but he seems to get low As and high Bs. "I'm hoping
that I can pass my next final. I have an 89% in there and I really want to
get all As for my last high school report card."

"What class is it?" Tommy asked.

"AP Calculus." You could hear a lot of boos from our group. "I
know. I thought the class would be easy. The teacher I had last year
teaches it this year and I passed her class last year."

"Well that's what you get for being a bitch." Blake said.

"How am I being a bitch?"

"By being smart." Ginger answered. "I should know this one." We
all laughed and started talking about the rest of our classes.

"I heard that you're leaving soon after we graduate." Amy said
to Ginger.

"Umm, yeah. I was accepted to the college I've been dreaming
about and I have a friend who goes there already so I'm moving in with her
until the dorms open."

"You know you could have told me." Amy said. She was now
scooting her food around on her plate.

            "Us." Jay said.

The rest of us sat there and were completely quiet. "I was
going to tell you guys! It's just that it's really hard to say goodbye to
your best friends. The three of us have nearly been inseparable when we're
not busy hunting down someone we like."

"Yeah, I guess you're right." Amy said. She looked back at
Ginger. "So, do you know if your friend has room for one more?"

Ginger looked at her confusingly. "Huh?"

"I'm an idiot and I even know that Amy is wanting to go to
college with you." Tyler said. It lighted the mood and made everyone laugh.

"Are you seriously wanting to do that?" Ginger asked Amy.

"Sure am. I'm a cold hearted bitch. Not like I'm going to make
many more friends. So why not stick with the ones I got?"

            "What about Jay?" Ginger asked.

"He's cute and gay. He'll have all the girl friends and
boyfriends he wants."

"That is true." Jay said and winked. We all laughed. Soon the
talk hovered to what all of us were wanting to do for college as of right
now. Ginger and Amy left the group conversation and started talking about
their plans.

Soon lunch ended and we were all on our ways to 5th. Jen and I
shared 5th together so I was carrying her books to class. When we got in, I
noticed we had a sub. I was sad because today was going to be the last day
I was going to have Mr. Reed. But on the Brightside, at least I can focus
on the test instead of Mr. Reed.

The science final was easy as I thought it would be. Everyone
was finished in a matter of minutes. And by a matter of minutes I mean
about an hour.

"How did you do?" I asked Jen.

            "I got them all right."

            "How do you know?"

"They were the same questions that were on the study guided but
flipped. I read over the whole study guide last night while you and Tommy
were texting."

            "Can't ignore the beau though."

"Yes you can. I know Tyler and Tommy are sexy beyond belief,
but you're going to have to learn some self control. Don't let Tommy rule
your life. I let Cole do that and look what happened."

"Let me get this straight. Tommy is going to rape me and then
get me pregnant if I text him every night before I go to bed?"

"Exactly." She said with a smiled.

I felt my phone vibrate and since this sub seemed to be blind
as a bat, I decided to pull out my phone and see who it was. It was
Tommy. "Speaking of the devil..." I trailed off as I read the text.

Tommy: I really need to see you! Like right now! Meet me in the
2nd floor restroom.

Me: Be there in a second babe.

I asked the sub if it was okay if I could use the restroom. Jen
gave me this confused face and I told her I would tell her when we got
home. She sighed and gave me permission to leave by flipping me off. I
flipped her off back and left.

When I got to the bathroom, I saw Tommy looking in the
mirror. He had tears in his eyes. "What's wrong?" I asked as I entered the
bathroom. I must've startled him because he jumped at my voice.

"It's my dad. He came to the school. Looking for Tyler and
Ginger. He tried checking them out and when they saw it was him they left.
Unfortunately I was going to the bathroom and since my class was near the
office, I saw my dad. He was pissed off because Ginger and Tyler said no to
leaving with him. Once he saw me, I heard him scream it was my fault that
his real kids hated him and he came running after me. I ran into this
bathroom and used all the force I had inside me to keep the door shut. He
almost got in but the security guards came and dragged him off. When I
opened the door to see, he yelled that if it was the last thing he did, he
would kill me." Tommy started to cry and I just stood there and held him.
