I can't wait, I think back on how far everything has come, from being abused and hated, to living with the Garrets and having the best boyfriend I can ever imagine. I finish bubbling in my scantron, I flip the test over and I put the scantron on top of the test and slide out of my desk, making my way to the front, I catch Tanner's eyes and smile at him. I hand in my test to the teacher and head for the door. I wait outside by the lockers for Tanner to finish, he should be done any second, I see the door open from the class room, and out walks Tanner smiling at me. "Hey sexy" I call at him. He looks behind him, "Oh you mean me huh?" he says smiling. I laugh at him and walk over taking his hand in mine, "So shall we go grab a bite to eat? Maybe then Troy and Aaron will be finished with all of their tests. My treat of course!" "Would I ever deny a beautiful boy buying me food?" he says squeezing my hand. We walk down towards his car, "I can't believe this school year is finally over!" I tell him. "I can! I am going to be a senior next year!" He shouts raising his hands in the air as if he has just won a game. "I wish I could be a senior with you!" I tell him smiling. "Well maybe you can talk to the office, I mean you are in advanced classes, I am almost positive you can probably graduate early." He tells me while he unlocks the car and opens the door for me. "Maybe so, I could even take some summer classes to get ahead as well." I say getting in the seat. I watch him glide around to the other side of his car, and get into the vehicle, starting it. "I am so glad I have a boyfriend that looks out for me!" I tell him giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Well I am so glad I have a smart, beautiful, fun, amazing boyfriend." He gushes at me. I turn bright red, "Let's go to the burger place down the road, we haven't ate there in forever! Plus I know it's your favorite place to eat at!" I tell him. We enter the little burger place and grab a table for the two of us, looking at the menu I can't decide what I want, I think I just want a cheeseburger, "What are you getting?" I ask Tanner. "Probably the bacon double cheese burger, do you want to get a basket of fries to share?" He asks not looking up from the menu. "Yea sounds good to me." I tell him. We look at the menus a little longer and the waitress comes over to take our order. "Hello, boys what will it be today?" She asks. "I will have the double bacon cheeseburger, no onions, with pickles, and lettuce, and a Dr. Pepper." Tanner tell her smiling "Ok no problem got that down, so what can I get for you cutie?" She asks looking at me. I blush a little, "Just a cheeseburger, no onions, the rest can come on it with a water please. Oh add a basket of fries for us please." I look over at Tanner, he was giving her a messed up look, I giggled. "Babe it's ok." I tell him. "I don't like her flirting with you, she is way older than you." He tells me smiling. "So how do you think you did on your test?" I ask making small talk. "I am sure I passed, my study group was good last night, I am sure we all passed." He tells me. Our waitress brings are drinks over, "Food will be out shortly boys." I watch as Tanner flicks the number on our table back and forth, "What are you thinking about?" I ask. "Just about how far we both have come over the year, it has been kinda crazy for us both." He says looking at me. I look over at him, "but at least we made it through together though." I say smiling. "True, at some points I didn't think we would make it." He says looking down. I nudge his foot under the table to get him to look at me, "but we did and here we are now, so what else is bugging you?" -------------------------Tanner's POV----------------------------- I flick the number sign on the table and look up at Chasen, "So think you might want to go out to the big schools out bash tomorrow night?" "I'm not into parties much..." Chasen tells me trailing off. I sigh, "come on babe, I used to go all the time. They are fun, you will be there with me and I am sure Kristy won't be a bitch to you, I think it'd do you some good to drink a little and have a little fun." He laughs nervously, "I've never been drunk in my life!" I stare at him, "No way are you telling me that you never once had a drink?" He shakes his head, "Nope never, so I doubt I will even drink tomorrow night, but if you want we can go." "I really want to go, I already said we would be there, and I don't like saying something and not following through with it." I tell him. The waitress comes over, and brings our food, she offers to refill Chasen's drink which is retarded because it isn't even below a quarter empty. "Uh, miss you can refill mine." I say. As she walks off with my glass Chasen looks over at me, "you don't have to be so rude to her!" "Dude she is openly flirting with you, last time I checked you were my boyfriend." I say to him lowly. He just nods his head, as the waitress brings back my drink, "There anything else I can get either of you?" "No, we are good thanks." I tell her. We eat in silence, I guess he is a little pissy with what I said. It's true though she was sitting there flirting her ass off with him, and I am not supposed to get upset by that? "Are you going to be pissy with me?" I ask taking a bite out of my burger. "No, I just don't understand why you have to be so rude, she was just being nice that's all. Besides it shouldn't be a big deal after all Kristy goes out of her way to flirt and touch you. She practically tries to have sex with her clothes on with you." He says eating his burger. "Whatever let's not argue, just eat and we'll go pick up Aaron and Troy." I tell him. We eat the rest in silence, I don't understand why he is acting like this towards me...all I want us to do is go have fun tomorrow night. Have a few drinks and hopefully get him to loosen that chastity belt he wears and let me go all the way with him. Shit it's been two weeks since we have even done anything, I know our tests and all been interfering but fuck! We finish are meal and Chasen gets up, going to pay for the bill. I watch his ass and it's perfect! I resist getting up to slap it, and get up and follow him. He pays and we head back out to the car, I look over at him, "babe when you going to get your haircut?" "I don't know why?" he asks. "Just wondering it's getting down to your chin." I say pulling out onto the road. He looks over at me, "When I feel like getting it cut, I might let it get a little longer, not really sure." "Ok just asking." I tell him. The ride wasn't very loud at all we kind of just sat in silence, I was driving and he was looking out the window, "Babe I am sorry, I just got a little jealous that's all." "Yeah you seem to do that a lot lately." He tells me. "I can't help it, we went through a lot of hardship to be together I don't want to take a chance of losing you!" I try to explain. He looks over pissed off at me, "Then don't be such an ass and you won't lose me, you had no right to be so damn rude to that waitress, or me!" "I'm sorry babe." I tell him. We pull into the parking lot of the school just as the bell rings, and I see Aaron coming down to the parking lot with Maxx right beside him, "You think them two are together?" I ask Chasen. He looks at Maxx, "I don't think he is gay. It's hard to say I doubt it." I keep looking for Troy, and I see him up at the school, it looks like him and Amber are arguing, she is obviously pissed, about something. He says something to her and walks away from her. Making his way to the car he passes Aaron and Maxx, and opens the car door and slams it as he sits down. "You ok?" Chasen asks. "Mind your own business." He sharply replies. It pisses me off I turn around, "Watch your fucking mouth douche, don't get pissed at Chasen for asking how you are just cause you and Amber are in a tiff." The car door opens Aaron gets in, "hey I called Margaret she said it was cool that Maxx could come over, do you mind?" "Nah, get in I am ready to get home." I tell them. ----------------------Aaron's POV--------------------------------- Maxx pokes me in the ribs causing me to jump a little, we do this all the way to the house, and with Troy giving us looks. I don't know ever since him and Amber been together he has been so rude! Tanner parks the car, Maxx, and I bolt out of the car and make a run for the house, laughing and shoving each other we take our shoes off and head inside. "WE ARE FREE!" I yell as soon as I get into the house, I hear Maxx laughing hard at me. I hear Margaret laughing in the kitchen, I run in there and hug her, "I am so happy school is OVER!" I tell her. She shakes her head and laughs, "Aaron are you going to introduce me to your friend." I laugh, "Oh yeah Maxx this is Margaret, she's pretty much my third mother!" They both shake hands and say good to meet you, "Hey can we go swimming" I ask. "Yes go ahead, please don't drown, Maxx don't let him drown ok!" She says. I look back at her, "Hey I can swim!" She laughs, "I know dear, just you are way to hyper never know what could happen." We run up to the room I stay in, "Uhh... dude what do I wear?" Maxx asks. I laugh and go over to my dresser and throw him a pair of board shorts, "Those answer your question!" I smile back at him. He laughs at me, "Where do I go change?" I laugh harder than I was, "Right here dude don't act shy we already seen each other pretty close!" I barely let the words out of my mouth and he drops his shorts right there, smiling at me as I look at him, "Like what you see?" he teases me and takes his shirt off. "Meh...not that impressive!" I laugh and drop my shorts and throw off my shirt. He mocks a hurt look and pulls on his board shorts, as I do mine, we laugh at each other and head down stairs, I pass by Tanners room and I hear him on the phone. I know I shouldn't do it but I can't help but pay him back, from when he eaves dropped on me and Troy so I listen. "Yeah, We are coming Kristy. Really I like the sound of that, oh! For me only? Sounds like a good thing then yea I will definitely be there with or without Chasen." And with that he hangs up the phone. Kristy? Isn't that the girl that hates Chasen? Then why is Tanner talking to her. I don't know what to do, I want to tell Chasen, but what if I am wrong then they both will be upset. But if I don't and something does go down I will feel bad! I find Maxx outside by the pool, "Dude took you long enough what you do, go whack one from seeing my smoking body?" I shove him into the pool and jump in, "more like I had to keep from laughing at that little thing you call a penis!" He starts to chase me around the pool, we splash each other back and forth just having a good time laughing. Maxx corners me into the corner of the pool that is shaded and out of view. He leans in closer and presses his body into mine and smiles, "Can I kiss you?" he asks. I shake my head, really now knowing what the hell is going on, I see him tilt his head and lift my chin up with his hand and he kisses me softly. He pulls back and smiles at me, "Why did you kiss me?" He giggles, "that's not the first thing I thought you would say, but I kissed you cause...I don't know just felt like it was right." I look at him, "Maxx I can't have you playing with me like that...I don't want to think it's something more when it's not, I need you to be honest with me." I tell him looking at him. "I know, I don't want to play with your emotions, honestly Aaron I don't know anymore, but I feel something for you. I never felt it for any other boy, I mean yeah I have had girlfriends, plenty of them, but never could I just be care free and goofy and myself, like I can around you. It scares me, but at the same time I like it a lot, I don't know what I am, I figured I was straight, but I like you." He tells me looking at me seriously. I look back at him, and I couldn't help myself I leaned in and kissed him, "sorry, I just couldn't help it." He smiles at me, "it's ok, I liked it." We start to kiss again, but we hear someone come out of the house so we separate and start splashing each other like nothing was going on. "Hey guys can I join yall?" Troy asked standing at the edge of the pool. "Well this is your pool." I tell him looking at him. "Yeah I know, but I want to be wanted here..." He mumbles. "Well I kind of do miss my best friend, not the douche bag one with the girl friend and he thinks he is way too good to talk to me." I say smiling. "Yeah I don't think we will be seeing that douche bag friend." He laughed and jumped in the pool. "What you mean?" Maxx asked. "Amber broke up with me..." he says, "But it's whatever it was fun while it lasted." He splashes at me. We stayed in the pool for another hour, and Margaret called out that we need to get out and go dry off that dinner will be ready in fifteen minutes. -----------------------Tanner's POV------------------------------- I don't know just ever since Chasen's dad came he has been so different, clingier, but like not the Chasen I knew, its like he doesn't need me anymore. He shows affection but I want more than that and he doesn't want to go that far. What the hell he's the one that's gay, I still don't count myself as gay because I never liked guys until Chasen. We are sitting at the table, and Chasen is laughing and talking to Maxx, and Aaron leaving me out on purpose, he is probably still pissed off at me from earlier. "What are yall talking about?" I ask not really caring. Chasen just looks at me, "Weren't you listening?" I was in no mood for his smartass comment, "No." I tell him looking him dead in the eyes, "Mom can I be excused." "Yes, you ok baby?" she asks. "I just don't really feel like eating much. Or feel like being ignored tonight" I say and leave the table. I make it up to my room, I punch the wall I don't know why the hell I am so jealous of him talking to them, before I know it there is a knock at my door. "Come in." I say. "You ok babe?" Chasen asks as he walks in. "Oh you're talking to me now?" I lash out. He looks at me and scrunches up his face, "What are you talking about I have been talking to you." "So purposely ignoring me at dinner tonight is talking to me?" I say turning my back to him. He moves closer, "What the hell are you talking about, I was just talking to Aaron and Maxx about what their plans are for the summer! You could have joined in the conversation anytime it's not like it was an exclusive conversation." "What the hell has gotten into you Chasen?" I ask walking over to my desk. He follows me, "Nothing what is wrong with you this whole last three weeks you been rude, distant, and hateful lately. Its like you don't even want me around." "Bull shit, you been acting like your pmsing ever since I said I wanted to go to the party tomorrow." I tell him. He sighs loudly, "Are you kidding is this what your shitty mood is about, that stupid ass party?" I turn around pissed; I walk up closer to him, "Why?! because I want us to do something that I want us to do? Fuck before you and I got together I always went to the parties and had fun, since we got together all the drama you had goin on I put it all on hold. I think it's time you start doing what I want." He gets closer to me, "My drama? Yeah if I remember correct the last beating I took was for you, because you had to kiss me in my mother's yard. So sorry, for her going ballistic on me because you had to kiss me. Stop being a selfish little kid." With that he walks away from me. I lose it, I don't know how I grab him and turn him around and shove him into the wall but I hit him against the wall, "Don't you fucking call me a selfish person. You are the selfish one, ever since your father came down you have acted different. I am fucking sick of it, I am going to the party, and if you don't go I don't care." He shoves me back, "Don't you fucking touch me like that again, I promise you it will be the last time you ever touch me." With that he left slamming my door. I lean against the wall, I slide down with my head in my hands and I start to cry, I don't know why I just am so angry with him. He doesn't understand I don't know what I want, I want him so bad, but another part of me wants Kristy... -------------------------Chasen's POV----------------------------- I headed to my room and slammed the door, I walk over to my bed and I fall onto it. I don't understand what the heck is going on with him anymore, it's like he isn't the same person that I come to know and well love... I lay on the bed just thinking of what is happening with Tanner and I, it's like we are falling apart now when everything is in the clear for us. There is a knock at my door, part of it wants it to be Tanner, but part of me hopes it isn't. "Yeah." I mumble Aaron pokes his head into the door, "Can I come in?" "If you want." I tell him sitting up on my bed. He walks over, and sits at the edge of the bed, "What's going on with you and Tanner?" I sigh, "I don't know man, he isn't the same person." "He's throwing shit in his room right now, freaked me out, did you two have a fight?" he asks looking at me. "Yeah we had a huge fight, he shoved me against the wall." I tell him looking away. He looks at me in shock, "he touched you like that?" I pull my legs underneath me, "yeah, it's a side I never seen of him; hell I didn't think he had that side. I just wished he would let me know what's going on." Aaron reaches over and hugs me, "I don't know if I should tell you, but I heard him on the phone earlier to Kristy, and he said something about the party that he was going to go with or without you..." "Yeah that's what he told me..." I say shaking my head, "enough about Tanner and mine's mess, we will work it out I'm sure its probably just a little pebble in the road, so what is going on with you and Maxx?" Aaron turns bright red in the face, "Well I don't know, he doesn't know what he likes." "Oh my god, you both have done stuff together haven't you?" I ask getting excited. He blushes, "NO!" "LIAR!" I say and tell him to tell me. "Well he kissed me in the pool today..." he tells me smiling. "Aww, my little Aaron has a fling." I mock being in love. He play shoves me, "Shut up I am not in love, I like him a lot, but I don't know how it's going to work." I hug him, "just let it unfold ok. Don't read too much into it if he is confused or you will end up hurting, and might end up like Tanner and I right now." "Thanks Chasen, I going to go save him from Troy, thanks for talking with me." He says and hugs me again. "Anytime buddy." I tell him. As he leaves I know in my heart what is going on with Tanner, I don't think he is in love with me as much as I am with him. I remember him telling me that I was the only boy he felt feelings for...I just don't think those feelings where as strong as I felt towards him. I know I need to go talk to him, but I am going to wait till morning, let him and I cool off. I don't want another fight to break out with us because honestly I can't handle it at all. I strip down to my boxers, and lay in bed, thinking of what all has gone down. I think about my dad I miss him, it's funny but I do. I just want to see him again; I kind of want to meet Caroline, Ryan, Kyle, and my sister Lexie. Hopefully Tanner and I will go up there this summer. ------------------------Day of the Party (Chase's POV cont)--------------------- ----- Waking up, I still feel uneasy about the whole day; I grab some basket ball shorts and make my way down to Tanner's room. I knock on the door, I hear him mumble something so I open the door. I see him in his bed still clothed, and it stinks like the all too familiar smell of alcohol. "Tanner!" I yell at him to wake up. "ughh, what?" He says looking up at me. "Were you drinking last night?" I ask "Possibly, I don't remember much but I have a killer headache. Please lower your voice." He tells me getting up. "Well, we need to talk." I tell him. "Well that's not a good thing is it?" He says. "Please Tanner don't be a douche bag this morning. I didn't sleep last night I need to know what's going on with us." I tell him getting on my knees looking up at him. He looks at me, "I don't know..." "Tanner do you still have the same feelings for me?" I ask getting up looking down at him. "I need to know, I need a damn honest answer out of you. Do you even love me?" He looks up at me, "yeah I guess...look I have to go help Kristy set up for the party I told her I would help." "What about me?" I tell him. "Well what about you?" He asks back. "This is unbelievable, you're unbelievable! How are you going to ditch me when I'm trying to figure us out! Whatever just go then. I will see you tonight then." I tell him slamming his door. I go back to my room and flop on my bed, I think I might call my dad I have his house number, I flip open my cell and scroll down to his number. It rings a few, and a male voice picks up, "Hello." "Umm, yeah is dad there, I mean Kevin?" "Who is this?" the voice asks. "Ch-Chasen." I say nervously. "Oh, ok. Yeah let me go get him." The voice says. I wait for a minute thinking I shouldn't have called, ugh! I don't know what I was thinking. "Hello." My dad says on the other end of the phone. "Hey dad, it's me Chasen." I say. "Hey buddy, everything ok?" he asks quickly. "Yeah, no I don't really know anymore, things are rough with me..." I get cut off. "Kyle Andrew if you don't hang up the other line you are grounded!" I hear my dad say and I hear a click. "Sorry Chasen, your younger brother has a nasty habit of eaves dropping." He tells me and laughs. "Oh that was Kyle that answered?" I ask. "Yeah, that was him, that kid I tell you is into everything! He hasn't stopped asking questions about you since I came back." He tells me. I laugh nervously, "Yeah I want to meet everyone, I really miss you..." "I miss you too son, really bad. I wished we could have spent more time together. I still want to fly you and Tanner out here in a few weeks." He tells me. "Yeah, I don't think that's such a good idea to even think of right now." I tell him. "What's going on son?" he asks. "We are falling apart I know it, I can feel it deep down dad, I love this boy, but I know he isn't reciprocating the same to me." I tell him. "Son I am still new to the whole having a gay son, but I will support you no matter what. Just know whatever you need let me know." He reassures me. We talk for about two hours, I finally end the call I want to start getting ready, I need to shower, and find out what I'm going to wear to this lame ass party, I am going only because I am going to make everything better with Tanner and I. I strip down and head to the shower, warming up the water I kind of rub myself, it's been awhile since I got off. Jeez I think to myself, I am such a horny sixteen year old. I step into the shower. It's insane I'm going to be seventeen in just a month and a half. I contemplate about jacking off, but I think I will save it and maybe if all goes well me and Tanner will have a lot of fun tonight, I soap up and rinse off and putting shampoo into my hair and rinsing it out as well, my blond hair falls down to my mouth I really need a trim I think to myself. I towel off and grab a pair of boxers, now all I need is to know what to wear. Going through my closet I can't find one damn thing to wear. I know I need help; I am going to go get both Aaron, and Maxx. I go towards the room and I forget to knock entering I catch them to kissing hardcore...... "Oh shit sorry guys." I say backing out. "Chasen it's too late now!" I hear Aaron whine I walk back into the room and Maxx is about ten times the shade of red looking anywhere but at me, I laugh. "Dude, Maxx it's ok man really." Aaron laughs and gives him a little shove, "What do you need?" I start to respond then I see why Maxx is embarrassed he's supporting a stiffy, "Ummm... I wanted to know if you both would help me pick out something to wear to this lame party, but if you're not UP to it, it's cool." Maxx turns brighter red, "Not cool man." He mumbles out I laugh and tell them to come on. They follow me to my room I feel Maxx's eyes looking me up and down I grin to myself its funny I think he is comparing me to himself. Now if you didn't know Aaron is a beast when it comes to picking out clothes for things, the kid is a natural person that can match anything, me on the other hand not so much... After trying on everything in my closet, Aaron looks at me I am still in jeans and the last shirt, "Ok strip, I like these better." and he throws, a pair of skinny blue jeans at me. "Dude they lay on my hips! Half of my ass is hanging out and my boxers are showing." I tell him looking at him. "Trust me you are going to have everyone at ATTENTION!" Aaron says shooting a look at Maxx who immediately blushes. He hands me a shirt it's a slim fit band t-shirt, "Who's shirt is this dude?" I ask him. "Mine, I like it on you I knew it would go good." Aaron tells me throwing my black Vans slip-ons to me, "Wear those." I look in the mirror I must say I do look good, "Nice." I say out loud. "Dude you look hot right Maxx?" Aaron looks over at him. He blushes, "yeah you do." "Thanks guys really, I mean it." I tell them and hug each one of them. I walk down stairs and ask David if he can take me to the party he agrees, and we get into the car headed towards the party. ------------------------The Party-------------------------------- David dropped me off in front of the house and told me to call when I needed a ride home, that he'd be more than happy to come pick me up. Kristy's house was huge how rich were her parents, and it was insane how beautiful the house looked, like one of the house you would see in the CW series on one of the shows there. I saw people in the front yard, and people coming in and out of the house. You know the feeling that you get in the pit of your stomach you get, well I had that feeling right now. I made my way up the sidewalk leading to the doors, going into them it was insane people were drinking, dancing, making out, music was blaring! I couldn't spot Tanner anywhere I made my way to the kitchen and was handed a red cup, I guess its beer. I took a few sips might as well keep it if not I'm sure I will be handed more than what I want. The next thing I know, I feel a hand on my shoulder, I turn around and it's Matt. "Hey Chasen, surprised to see you here." He slurs. I look at him, "What do you want Matt." "Just to talk is all." He says. "I don't believe that, you never want to talk to me, besides we have nothing to talk about." I tell him, still trying to look for Tanner. Matt steps closer to me, "Looking for your boyfriend?" I look at him, "I don't know what the hell you are talking about." He smiles, and leans on the counter, "Don't deny it Chasen, I have known you for too long, your boyfriends with Tanner. I see how you look at him at school." I look at him with hate, "What is your point Matt is that the whole reason you are talking to me right now?" He laughs, "What does he got that I don't?" I laugh back at him, "He has balls, and he isn't scared to be who he is." I shoot at him. "Yeah? He isn't scared to let anyone know he is with you huh?" He says. I look at him weird, "What are you talking about?" He grabs my hand and pulls me farther away from the counter, right in front of the stairs, "Go on up there, Kristy's room is the third door on the right, let's see how much he really loves you." I shake my hand from his, "What the fuck are you saying? That he is cheating on me? That he is fucking Kristy?" He looks at me seriously, "You had no clue did you?" I just look at him not understanding, and I look up as Kristy and Tanner come down hand in hand. Kristy's hair is messed up, and Tanner's shirt is open still. It's like a flash of white hot heat goes through my body, "Tanner, what the hell is going on?" He looks caught off guard, "Chasen what are you doing here?" "I told you I would come, what the hell were yall doing up there?" I ask. "We just had the greatest sex in my life, not that it matters to you. I know you want my boyfriend Chasen, but Tanner is mine got that." Kristy slurs out. I look up at Tanner trying to hold back tears. I can't believe what I am hearing. "Tanner?" He just looks at me without saying anything I know what she is saying is all true. "How the fuck could you do this to me Tanner? How could you!" I scream at him and take off out of the house. I walk out of the house, I am in tears by now, I feel some one spin me around, its Tanner, "Please babe let me explain." "Fuck that asshole!" I scream at him. I go to turn and he won't let go of my arm, "Chasen, stop this shit." He yells at me. I turn back and hit him square in the jaw, he lets go instantly of my arm, I back away realizing what I just did. He looks up shocked at me. He gets up and before I know it he hits me in the face I fall down, grabbing my face still crying I look back at him. "Oh god Chase, I'm sorry babe, come here." He says trying to approach me. The next thing I know Tanner is laying sprawled out on the ground, and someone is picking me up. "Matt what are you doing?" I ask still not really understanding what is happening. "I am taking you home Chasen, you don't need to be here anymore." He tells me helping me to his truck. "I can't go home." I tell him as he helps me into the truck. He runs to the other side of the truck and gets in, "What do you mean you can't go home?" "I live with Tanner; I don't want to go back there." I start to sob more. "Ok well we need to get you there, to at least let his parents know what's going on, so then we can figure out what to do." He says driving fast. "Why are you being so nice to me Matt?" I ask. "Chasen, I still love you I always have just not in love with you, yeah I held a lot against you, but no one deserves what happened back there." He tells me. We ride in silence, as he turns down the street where I live, "So what's the plan?" he asks. "I don't know yet." I say. He stops the truck at the curb; I look at him, "Thanks Matt." I say and start to get out. "Let me know what is going on ok?" He asks. I just nod my head, and close the door. I make my way up to the house and open the door. Everyone is in the living room and they stop to look at me. I explain to them what has transpired. Everyone is in shock, David is pissed, he is already on the phone hollering at Tanner. Margaret is getting me ice, for my cheek. Troy, Aaron and Maxx are sitting next to me comforting me. "I'm leaving." I announce, this stops everyone in their tracks. "What do you mean?" Margaret asks. "I'm calling my dad. I love everyone, but I can't be here anymore, not after my mom, and now the things that happened with Tanner." I explain to them. ------------------------------------------------------------------ After having my dad book me a flight to California I packed some clothes in a duffel bag, mainly ones that I wear a lot. Aaron was crying and Maxx was comforting him. I had my dad book me a red eye flight. I just need to get out now. I go to Aarons room and he is crying hard hugging Maxx. "Buddy, it's ok I have to do this for me ok, maybe this summer I will fly you out to see me." I tell him. He just sniffles and hugs my neck hard, "I love you Chasen, you're like a big brother to me..." "I love you too lil man." I say hugging him back. I look at Maxx, "take care of him ok." He nods and we shake hands, I leave the room, tears in my eyes. I make my way down stairs. "Honey you sure?" Margaret asks. I nod and hug her; she hugs me back I try to hold back tears. "Thank you for everything." "Be safe hun, please call me ok?" She asks. I nod and look at David he asks, "You ready kiddo." David drives me to the airport, he helps me with my bags, "Son, you can always come back your just as much a part of the family as anyone." "I know, but this is something I need to do." I say and hug him back. I watch him get into his car, and pull out waving at me. I head into the Airport I look back and watch his car disappear from my view. This is it, I have to do this for myself, there are too many bad things here for me, I want to be with my father. I want some solid ground. A new start, where I can just be happy for once. I go through security luckily its short considering it's almost midnight and I go to the gate, my flight is starting to board. I guess I timed it just right. I hand the ticket person my boarding pass, she scans it and tells me to have a good flight. ----------------------------------------------------------------- That concludes Some sense of Security part 1. Yes big things have happened. I felt as a writer I was going in repeat, I needed a fresh canvas with Chasen, and I know this is the right thing to do. Part two will be under SSOS but be called In search for solid ground. I also have a surprise! I will be doing a spin off on Aaron! I am not sure the title yet but I will keep you updated! ISOSG is going to be good, I have an idea on what I want with this part. I am so happy that you have stuck with me through part one and I hope you will still be there with me through part two! I enjoyed reading the chapter, hopefully as much as you guys did, but I'm left with so many questions like will Chase and Tanner eventually get back together or does Chase find someone new living with his father, I don't know if it was just me but I could see Troy falling for Aaron but that's just my crazy thinking . And so i feel like an ostrich with its head stuck in the ground. The only one that knows is KD, and he's like a vault. be afraid be very afraid mwa ha ha ha ha *choke* (damn evil laugh)
