Summer in Utah
Chapter 2

I woke up the next morning at 8:30 and felt totally refreshed. I had not
awoken after I jerked off the afternoon prior.

I got out of bed and went to the bathroom. I freshened up and did my usual
business. I then went back to my room and got dressed. Putting on a pair of
gray cotton briefs that outlined my package fairly well, gray shorts and a
gray t-shirt. Yeah I wore all gray an tended to do that fairly often.

I walked downstairs and went to the kitchen. I decided I would have some
cheerios and toast for breakfast. Man was it good. After I ate I just
lounged around until Luke called me.

Hello. I said.

Hey what's up? Luke replied.

Not much just chillin. What about you?

Same thing dude. You wanna hang out?

Heck yeah! My house today?

Ok! Be there in a few.

Ok see ya soon. An with that I hung up the phone.

When Luke got to my house we didn't do much. We just sat around and
watched tv and listened to the radio. Yes we tended to do both at the same
time. Anyways I was paying more attention to the tv when I heard the radio
station read off a contest for a free vacation. With nothing planned that
summer I decided to call in.

Hey Luke you hear that? I asked

No. He said little confused.

They're giving away a free vacation to Utah!

So? Your point?

I'm going to try and win you dip shit. I said playfully.

Hey don't call me names! He replied with a glint in his eyes. He added
a playful slap to the remark letting me know he was kidding.

So I called the station but no luck. I called a second time. Still no
luck. But on the third try they finally answered.

They asked me a few general questions which I lied to giving them all of my
dads information knowing that you would have to be 18 or older to win.

To win the trip all I had to do was answer a simple riddle. What grows down
as it grows up? Simple my ass! I had studied animals that year in science
though so I was one step ahead. I knew that geese feathers were called
down.

A goose! I said enthusiastically.

Ding ding ding you have just answered incorrectly.

What? I said confused.

Nope just yanking your chain. You won! You and one lucky person will be
taking an all expense paid for vacation to Utah!

I jumped up and down excitedly the whole time he was talking that I almost
couldn't understand what he said.

I replied with a sharp thank you and hung up the phone.

Now Luke had been in the bathroom the whole time and I was so eager to rush
in and tell him I won that I almost forgot to knock.

Luke? I said silently and a bit slyly.

Yeah? He said in a question.

I couldn't hold it any longer so I just bust open the door and yelled
"I won I won I won!"

What? He said still confused.

Now I mention to you this whole time he was sitting on the toilet finishing
up a dukey.

I won the trip to Utah! And your coming with me!

With that Luke wiped and I left the room allowing him to dress.

He walked out of the bathroom and ran down the stairs and jumped into my
outstretched arms so fast I almost fell over.

We pranced around the room yelling "Were going to Utah. Were going to
Utah!"

Then finally the reality hit us. Our parents. They would never let us two
boys go to Utah for a month all by ourselves.

Now my parents would pretty loose and laid back and would probably let me
go but Lukes parents were a completely different story. They were as strict
as all get out.

Me and Luke just stared blankly at each other for quite some time before I
finally announced that we needed to talk to our parents.

We did normal teenager things the rest of the day like playing video games,
and surfing the web before my dad got home. My dad walked in the door to
find us sitting on the couch staring at him. He instinctively knew that we
were up to no good and asked is what it was.

Well boys I have been around long enough to know what that look on your
faces is. What do you want to ask me?

I spoke first explaining how there was a radio contest and I gave all his
information.

Well? Get right to the point he glared.

I won!

Great! He said. But what's the catch?

I said. Well um you see. It's only a vacation for two an I was thinking
that maybe me and Luke could go?

This whole time Luke had just been staring at my dad with a blank
expression but now at the mention of his name his face lit up with glee.

After some begging and pleading my dad said he would find out all the
details and let us know. He went to his room and we could here him talking
on the phone.

Do you think he'll let us go? I asked Luke

Idk I hope so. He replied.

10 minutes later he exited his room and saw us anxiously awaiting his
answer so he just came right out with it.

Fine. He said. But only if Lukes parents say yes.

With that our faces with from ear to ear grins to nothingness, us both
knowing his parents would never say yes.

We left my house and walked the short distance to Lukes. As soon as we
showed up we got straight to the point. Now I'm not going to any detail
as it would takes days to write it all down but it went a little like
this. After some major begging and deal making his mom called my dad and
they talked for quite some time. The whole time me and Luke were nervously
pacing around.

After about half an hour she came back to us with a one word answer.

Yes.
