Chapter: Awakening Part 1

The alarm clock went off and Darius Terrell Walker wakes up and slowly turns
over to turn of his alarm clock. He stretches out on the bed. He gets up and
turns on the radio.  He then goes into his bathroom and turns on the shower. On
the radio is the song Only You by Ashanti. He turns it up loud enough for him
to hear and not wake up anyone else. He knew that soon his Mom would be up to
get ready for work. So he then takes off his white T-shirt and blue boxers
and jumps in the shower. He lets out a moan as the hot water hits his body. He
soaps up and lathers his body. He is about 5'9 brown skin muscular build,
mustache, short black hair, nice dark brown eyes. He finished his shower, gets out
and dries off and wraps the towel around him. He then brushes his teeth and
rinses his mouth out.

He comes out and turns his radio to CD mode. He turns to track 10 and his
favorite song comes on, If I ain't got you by Alicia Keys. He starts to sing it.
He then starts to get dressed. He puts on a pair of white boxers and a tank
top. Then he puts his socks on. Then he goes to his closet and looks for
something to wear. He finds his black Roca-Wear outfit. He slips on his black jeans,
then puts on his shirt. He then grabs the hat to match and slips it on his
head.  He slips on his silver watch and bracelet he got for his birthday 4 months
ago. He puts on some cologne and turns off his radio, grabs his backpack and
goes to see if his mom is up.

He goes upstairs and hears that she is up and getting dressed. He goes up and
tells her that its 6:35 and that he is about to go on ahead to school.  He
goes over and gives his mom a big hug and a kiss. She returns the same and then
goes in her purse and gives him twenty dollars.  Thanks mom, he says.  He goes
down the stairs, grabs his keys and heads out the door.  He starts to walk
and then this blue 2007 Lexus rides up beside him. The window comes down and he
hears a voice ask him, excuse me but have you seen this hot cute around here
who has a nice face and an ass to die for.

 Darius turns around and smiles, then says "well it depends on whose looking
for him."  He goes up to the car and looks inside. I thought you had an early
practice this morning, you know since you the star player and all, he said.
Darius got in the car and looked over the 6'2 light skinned, hazel brown eyes
mustache connected side burns, cornrows, 225 lbs of tight muscle.

His name was Kevin Dray. Kevin said in his deep sexy voice that Darius loved
to hear, the coach called this morning and said he did not need me to come in
he wants me to save all my energy for the game tonight. Darius had gotten a
big smile on his face.  That's cool boo, he said. Kevin then rubbed the side of
his hand against Darius face and said, you are so cute and sweet. Darius
closed his eyes and embraced Kevin's touch. Darius broke the silence and said you
do realize what today is also? Kevin had to think for a minute. He looked at
Darius and said, oh yea the day we met, our Anniversary.  Yup said Darius. Can
you believe its been a year, you know I care about you Darius said. Kevin
looked at him and said. Fuck that boo, you love me and I love you. Its been us this
past year.

Darius leaned in to kiss Kevin and Kevin met him halfway. There lips touched
and soon they were rubbing and touching all over each other. Kevin then broke
the kiss and said, we gotta get to school and shit, damn boy you made me all
hot and shit, how do you do that? Darius just smiled and said, you already know
all that, I got many skills.  Kevin then put the car in drive and drove off
to school.

As soon as the car is parked in the student parking lot of Unity High School,
the only high school in the area that agreed to have a good percentage of
both gay and straight students without any problems. It was nice of the state of
Virginia to approve such a proposal and the city of Norfolk.

Darius gets out the car and is soon greeted by his best friend NICO.  What's
going on ya'll? He asked. NICO put his hand up for some dap  and they said,
not much. Cool said Nico. Nico is about 5'9 180 lbs light skin mixed with
Spanish and black with short cut hair and a mustache over his lips, he was wearing
blue sweat shorts and with a white T-shirt on.  Darius looks over Nico's
shoulder and says here comes your boy. Nico turns around and sees his 6'1 caramel
skinned with some baggy blue jeans on and a muscle shirt showing of his well
defined biceps and a blue du rag on his head. Nico got a big smile on his face as
he came up to him. Hey baby said the man as he came and put his arms around
Nico's waist. Hey Carlos Nico said in this voice that wanted to say it like a
lil kid in a candy store. What's up peeps said Carlos? Both Darius and Kevin
gave a nod. Carlos then went up to Nico and wrapped his arms around him and
started kissing him.

Darius then turned towards Kevin and Kevin had that look in his eyes that
said all he wanted to do right now was go somewhere and kiss all over him. Darius
returned the look with a smile. Kevin then mouthed the words I love you and
Darius did the same. Kevin then walked around the car took Darius by the hand
and started to walk towards the high school to go to class. Soon Carlos and
Nico were walking behind them. Kevin was walking Darius to class when someone
came up behind him and pushed him on the floor.

What the fuck, yelled Kevin. He looked up and saw Demetrius Haywood standing
over him. Demetrius then looked over at Darius and said what's up cutie? I see
you still with this bitch ass punk. Just then Darius spun around and landed a
kick to the side of the face of Demetrius. Demetrius then landed hard up
against a locker and fell to the floor. Darius knew that the martial arts lessons
he and Kevin took would pay off one time or another. Get the hell out of here,
said Darius. Demetrius took off fast down the hallway. Darius then went over
to Kevin and helped him up. But Kevin shrugged him off. I can get up myself,
said Kevin. What the hells wrong with you? asked Darius. I could have took care
of it myself, I didn't need your help. Darius looked shocked. Darius then
turned and walked into class. Why are you late to my class? asked his teacher Mr.
Jefferson. I am sorry I am late Mr. Jefferson, I had a personal matter to
attend to. Mr. Jefferson knew that something was wrong with Darius and told him
to sit and see him after class.

Mr. Jefferson was a cool teacher who was one of many gay teachers at the
school and also knew when one of his students was having some trouble. Darius took
his seat beside Ivy another of his best friends. Are you ok? she asked.
Darius shook his head no and then looked down to the desk going over in his head
what happened. As class went on Darius would take the notes he could without
being distracted.

When the bell rang he stayed in his seat. Mr. Jefferson walked over to Darius
and asked what is wrong. Darius told him what happened in the hall before he
came into class. Mr. Jefferson told him, some men don't like for other people
to look out for them like that cause they think it's a sign of weakness.
Darius then said to Mr. Jefferson, so you think I should have just left it alone
and not showed that I care about him. Mr. Jefferson then said, well some people
act on there instincts and that's what you did. Darius then got up and left to
go to lunch and said thanks Mr. J. Ivy was waiting outside the door for
Darius.

He stared at her and ask , are you waiting for me? She said, yeah and I heard
about what happened. You so nosey, Darius said. You would have told me
anyway, she said. Darius looked at what Ivy was wearing. She was wearing a pair of
blue J-Lo shorts with a blue guess T-shirt. She was 5'7 mixed with black and
Indian hazel brown eyes. She had a good weight of 175 lbs. Not any fat on her at
all. As they walked to the lunchroom they were talking about what happened.
Darius finally said that he was going to forget about no need for it to spoil
his day.

So as they entered the lunch room Kevin came up to Darius and said, I need to
talk to you. Kevin pulls Darius outside of the lunchroom. I am sorry for the
way I acted today, and I want you to know that I didn't mean to say what I
said. I do need you for everything. How about you come over tonight after the
game my parents are out of town, Kevin said. Darius looked at Kevin and said OK
that's cool. Kevin then gave Darius a big hug and gave him a passionate kiss
right there. The kiss was hot that Darius and Kevin could feel it. Kevin said,
Seems like you forgive me. Darius just smiled. Later boo, said Kevin as he
walked towards the gym.

Darius next class was swimming. He loved to swim, he has been swimming since
the age of 12. For some odd reason he felt calm in the water and kind of at
home. People called him the human dolphin cause when he was swimming he made it
look easy and could hold his breath for what seemed like 30 minutes, which
made him the star of the schools swim team. As Darius was sitting edge of the
pool, he saw the teams captain walking towards him, Melvin Stark.  Melvin stood
at about 5'9  a good solid 200 lbs with blonde hair and gray eyes. He was mixed
with white and Spanish. He was very arrogant towards Darius and did not like
the fact he was better swimmer.
Well, if it isn't the lil bitch who thinks he is all that, you think that you
might become captain this time? he asked. We all know that the only reason
you are still captain is because you do more than kiss the coaches ass, you have
literally fucked yourself to the top, Darius said. Then Melvin got angry and
went over and grabbed  Darius and threw him into the pool. Darius came up for
air and looked furiously at Melvin. Melvin started to walk away when all of a
sudden a blast of water came up and knocked him into the water. Darius was
surprised when this happened. He was thinking that he wanted that to happen and
then it did.  Darius was shocked and confused when this happen. He was left
wondering did he do that.

The Other Side was an organization for people who could come and share there
problems and get help. Little did people know that way beneath there was a
chamber where a great deal of evil was gathered and about to be unleashed.
There was a figure in a dark robe in front of a Golden Altar. He was reciting
chants really loud and then he grabs a big gold cup from atop the altar. The
cup is filled with blood. He then drinks the blood and the whole place starts
to shake.

Then the 6 statues all started to break and emerging from them are 6 demonic
figures. Who has freed us from our from our prison states, the head leader
said in a dark voice. I have master, my name is Layveon Seth. Seth was at a
height of 5'10 black dark hair black eyes and about 230 lbs. Seth then spoke, I
know of your plans to make the world into darkness and to rule over all vampires.
The vampire lord then spoke you will call me, Master Doku.

Doku then said allow me to introduce my generals, first Nianna, she has eyes
that will hypnotize and to die for, next is Brick his name speaks for itself,
then my right hand man Yon-chin has the ability to shape shift, the one next
to him is Echyna, she has the voice that puts banshees to shame, last but not
least is my lil brother Marshu, he can posses anyone he wants. Seth then said
master it is unfortunate that you were not able to finish your plans 5000 years
ago, and that the ancient king with his warriors locked you away. Doku then
ask, what year is this? It is the year 2005 master, said Seth. We want to
explore this world for ourselves, so tonight we will go out and we will also eat,
said Doku.

Darius was sitting high in the stands watching Kevin do his thing on the
court. The coach had called there final time out, with there only being 10 seconds
left in the game. Kevin then winked at Darius, Darius just smiled. When the
team got back on the court the ball had got thrown back in and Kevin got the
ball. Kevin was at half court and he looked at the scoreboard the other team
leading by 2. Kevin saw that he had to shoot for a three pointer. He took the
shot and at the buzzard a swish. Kevin made the winning shot and the crowd went
wild and the team jumped all over Kevin and picked him up.

After the game Darius went in the locker room and ran up to Kevin and hugged
him and said congrats boo. Kevin kissed him on the lips and everyone was
whistling. Kevin then said, ya'll just jealous, baby this puts us in the finals. As
Kevin went on about what could happen and Darius was just glad that he was
happy. Kevin then said here is my house key why don't you go to my house and get
ready for me and I will be there in 30 minutes. Darius took the bus to
Kevin's house, he could have drove Kevin's car but then Kevin would have had to
walk. Darius went inside and went straight to Kevin's room. Darius knew that Kevin
was rich, his own room had a fireplace in it. Darius then thought of the
first time he and Kevin made love, right in front of that fire place. Darius then
stripped down to his boxers and tank top.

He went down stairs and looked in the fridge and got the strawberries and
whip cream. He then looked in the bottom of the fridge and found some
nonalcoholic apple-cider. He put that and the whip cream on ice and then went to chop up
the strawberries. That's when his cell  phone rang and Darius answered and
heard Ivy on the other end. Darius I got some really really bad news you need to
sit down. Darius then walked over to the couch and said Ivy what's wrong. She
said with a shaky voice, its Kevin he is
