Chapter 2: Awakening Part 2

Ivy had a hard time getting out that last word. He is dead Darius, she
said. When he heard that, Darius was silent for a minute taking in the
sudden shock he just got. Then he spoke with a tear filled voice. he
can't be I just left him and he was fine, there is no way he could be
dead. Ivy said yes he is,  I sent Nico to come and get you and bring you
back here. That's when Darius heard a knock on the door and, he heard
Nico say its me. Darius hung up the phone and let Nico in. After he let
him in, he went back upstairs to get dressed with no feeling at all but
the feeling of loss and tears in his eyes. He went back downstairs and
Nico came up to him and gave him a hug and Darius returned it.

Nico then spoke, I am so sorry, umm I am not sure if you want to hear
this now but they found him dead on the hood of his car. Darius then
released his hug and looked down, do you know anything else. No. said
Nico. Nico then led Darius to the car walking close to him. As they drove
along to the school Darius was crying and he felt he wanted to yell but
who to yell at.

The whole time on the way Nico held his hand. As they drove up to the
school there were flashing police lights. As soon as the car stopped
Darius ran out to the center of the crowd and there he saw Kevin being
zipped up in a body bag. That's when Darius broke and started screaming
No, he can't be gone, not my baby, he stared to run towards the body, but
then 5 people grabbed him and started to comfort him. He realized the 5
people were Ivy, Nico, Carlos and Kevin's parents. Everyone was crying
hard for the lost, but Darius cried the hardest. Darius then thought of
what could have happened and started ranting on, and then he got
overwhelmed with emotion and stress and he fainted. Darius came too with
a paramedic looking over him and every one of his friends wondering was
he ok. Darius wanting for this all to be a bad dream, realized it was a
horrible reality.

This world is fascinating, Master said Niaana. We all agree then said
Master Doku. Seth then came in and spoke, master we have people willing
to give there lives for your war. Excellent and soon I will have the
perfect captain to lead them. Seth then spoke, Master it is easy to see
in this world it will be easy to complete your plans. Yes, it is said
Doku.

As the moon was high in the sky, an old man was sitting near a lake, calm
and relaxed. Then all of a sudden he had a vision of the world being
overrun by vampires and evil. He then looked at the moon and saw it was
blood red. He called for his daughter, Mimi come here quick. She came
from the kitchen in a hurry. What is it dad? She asked. I just had a
vision and it was my worst fear, the ancient Doku and his generals have
been freed, and now we need to find the other elemental warriors, we must
first find the one who controls water, he said. Do you know the first
place to look? asked Mimi. Not yet but we will find out.

Darius woke up the next day in the guest room to Nicoâ^À^Ùs house. He
remembered he decided to stay at his house so he would not be alone.
Darius did not think he would be able to sleep but somehow he did. He
heard a knock on the door. Nico had came in and sat on the bed. Did you
sleep ok man? Yeah I did, but I don't know how, answered Darius. Mr. and
Mrs. Dray got a call from the morgue about the autopsy, it seems weird
they said he was almost drained of blood and he had 2 puncture wounds on
his neck.

Darius had a puzzled look in his face. Who would do that? he asked. Don't
know said Nico, but this world does have its freaks. Darius just sat
there thinking. This is some crazy shit man, I just want whoever did this
to pay for what they done, better hope I don't find them first, said
Darius. Nico asked, I can't imagine what you feeling right now. Man it is
hard all I can think about is how Kevin used to wake up with this smile
on his face and I would ask him why are you smiling and then he would say
because I woke up beside my angel. Darius started crying again and Nico
just comforted him.

Then they heard a knock on the door. Mrs. Dray came in and Darius cleared
his face and calmed down. Darius we have decided to have his funeral
tomorrow, I know its sudden but Kevin wrote it and his will to be buried
no more than 2 days after he died if, well you know. Darius just nodded.
Also he left you everything in his will. Darius was speechless. Its ok
Darius we know how happy you made him and in his heart you were married,
so he decided to act like the two of you were, said Mrs. Dray. There is
an account for you. We will talk more later, said Darius.

After the funeral

Everyone that was close to Kevin was at the Drays home. Even people from
school came by. Darius was sitting beside his mom just thinking, She was
holding his hand and thought of how much her son cried earlier in the
day. She had bought him a plate of food but he never touched it, she was
concerned cause he had not eaten anything all day. Darius had gotten up
and went into the spare room to change his clothes. He put on a white
muscle shirt and blue jeans. He told everyone he needed to go for a walk.
His mom said be careful it will be dark soon.

Darius walked to the park and the sun had finally gone down and he was
sitting there for 2 hours. He was remembering the first day he met Kevin
at this park. Darius was out here sparing with Nico, since they both took
the same fighting style. Darius had ducked under Nicoâ^À^Ùs roundhouse
and then sent him falling to the ground with a foot sweep.

That hurt, said Nico. Then Darius heard a voice ask him, can I spare with
you? Darius turned around there was Kevin dressed in basketball shorts
and a white tank top. Darius said sure if you can handle it. The two of
them started  and it seemed like that Kevin was actually doing more
flirting than sparing. He was grabbing Darius and putting him in sexual
holds and at one point it even felt Darius could feel Kevin's dick
against his ass cheeks.  Finally Kevin pushed Darius to the ground by
taking out his legs from behind him and landing on top of Darius. Darius
then felt a spark go through his body.

You are good said Kevin. So are you Darius said back. Kevin was looking
right into Darius eyes and Darius was looking back and then Kevin got
brave and kissed Darius. The kiss was sending sparks between them and
seemed to last forever until Nico said, do I need to get a hose. Both
Darius and Kevin  looked embarrassed.  Darius was bough back to reality
by hearing someone come up behind him. Hey baby, the voice said.

Darius could not believe his eyes as he saw Kevin stand before him. You
are dead I saw you get buried today how can you be alive? asked Darius.
Well, baby I can explain that all to you if you just come here, said
Kevin. Darius said, No way in hell am I coming near you. Kevin then
rushed Darius and Darius moved to the side and clipped Kevin then went
for an ax kick and Kevin blocked it and threw Darius on his back. Next
thing Darius knew Kevin was on top of him, Darius struggled to get free,
but Kevin had him pinned down. Does this bring back a memory to you?
asked Kevin. Darius then asked, what happened to you? Kevin then let
Darius up and said sit down. Darius then went over to a park bench and
sat down terrified and so shaken he could have wet himself. When he was
close to Kevin he felt coldness all over Kevin and a stench of death.
Kevin stood one foot from Darius. If you think of running that will only
increase my appetite, said Kevin. I have become one of the walking dead
man, and I it is not as bad as I thought, except the whole not being able
to come out in the sun. I am a vampire now, I was turned by Master Doku,
and we are now building an army of vampires so we can run this world and
make all humans are slaves and food, and that evil will spread. Darius
then asked, why are you telling me all this? Well, I want you to join me
and for us to be together forever, said Kevin. Hell no Kevin, I am not
being some demons body host, said Darius. Then I guess I have to kill
you, said Kevin. Right then Darius tried to run but Kevin was too fast
and grabbed Darius and threw him into a jungle gym, Darius felt his leg
crack, but it was not broken he assumed it was sprained. As Kevin got
closer and closer a big gust of wind came through and Kevin turned around
to see a girl with blonde hair, white skin blues eyes, about 5â^À^Ù8 and
looking right at him. The girl ran towards Kevin and flipped over his
head landed on the ground and spun kicked him right in the chest and sent
him flying. Kevin got back up and then the girl put her hands in the air
and a big gust of wind lifted Kevin into the air and threw him into an
old abandon building. The girl then went to pick up Darius and said, Hi
my name is Mimi. My leg is sprained and I can barley walk, said Darius.
We need to get out of here my car is up the street lets go, said Mimi. As
Mimi drove to her house, Darius was in the back moaning in pain, but it
was not as painful as it was. We are almost there said, Mimi.

She then called her dad on the intercom. Dad I got him, but his leg is
hurt, he was attacked by one of them, said Mimi. Ok, its good that you
got him, I will prepare to fix his leg when you arrive, said her dad.
Darius lifted his head up to see he was arriving to a big white mansion,
he saw the gates open and Mimi pull up to the front of the house. As he
was being carried into the house he was greeted by an old man who looked
Korean, about 5â^À^Ù5 190 lbs, long white beard and mustache.

Hello warrior of water my name is Lei wan, and you have already met my
daughter Michelle. Darius looked at the man and then Michelle, and he
noticed he recognizes her from school. I see that your leg is hurt allow
me to fix it. Michelle put Darius down on a couch and her father came
back with bandages and an ointment. He put some of the ointment on Darius
leg and it was warm, then he wrapped his leg up like a cast. Your leg
will be better in the morning, he said.

Darius now shouted, what the hell is going on, and what did you mean by
warrior of water. Lei went to go get a book that looked brand new from a
shelf and told Darius as he handed it to him, this book is 5000 years old
and has been kept looking new by magic, I will tell you a story of what
happened 5000 years ago. the earth was at war, between vampires and
humans.

The great king of earth and his elemental warriors battled these demons,
the master vampire Doku wanted to take over the world and spread evil, so
that the veil of darkness will cover it and block the sun. However only
one force stood in his way and that was the 7 warriors of earth all
welding the power of the elements, water, fire, wind, earth, lightning,
medal, and light. In the last battle the king sealed away the vampires,
but Doku put a spell on them that on the night of a new moon and the
spell to break them free is cast they will awaken once again, and with
that the king made sure that when that happened the warriors will be
there to stop him, by making a spell of his own that the powers of the
elements would awaken within each warrior. I have been having visions of
a cult practicing dark magic, within this city.

Darius just looked shocked from hearing all that and letting it all sink
in, at first he thought this was something crazy shit, but then he
thought of what happened and how Kevin could be alive and what he had
said earlier. Darius then said, ok Mr. Wan, I believe it all, and I do
want to destroy them all.
