Subject: TEW Chapter 3: Learning

Darius was in the bathroom washing up. He could not believe how good his leg
felt he had wondered what that stuff was that Wan put on his leg. Darius then
went to his closet and was looking for something to wear, and he came across
one of Kevin's shirts. He thought about what had happened just yesterday. Then
he smelled the shirt and smiled, he remembered when Kevin first wore it, it
was a blue short sleeve shirt with Sean-John on it.

Darius decided to wear it today and then he put on gray sweats and a blue
durag on his head. Darius mom came in. "You are going to school today Darius, are
you sure you don't want to stay home"? Darius smiled back at his mom and
said, "No I don't want to stay home, I know it may seem crazy but I do have to
move on." Darius knew the truth of what was going on and that he had accepted
with his destiny.

He knew that Kevin was alive in matter of speaking, and what was out there
which made it  easier to move on. Darius then walked out the room, gave his mom
a kiss on the cheek and headed down to Kevin's car. Like his parents said
Darius got everything. Kevin's car, a red Ford 2008  mustang which they had bought
for him for graduation as his present, a 4.5 million bank account which he
could access at anytime and whatever  else he wanted from Kevin. Darius got
inside and touched the steering wheel and all of a sudden a he got a vision in his
mind of Kevin and him the last day they were in his car together.

Then the vision changed to Kevin and him fighting  and surrounded by
vampires. Darius wondered what was that. Darius shook his head and then turned the key
and started up the car and drove off to school. Darius went to his locker and
right across from his was Kevin's. The principal came up to Darius and asked
if when he had the time to clean out Kevin's locker and also told him we have
a memorial for Kevin set up in the garden of the school.

I will principal Dean and thanks, said Darius. Your welcome said the
principal. Darius then saw Mimi coming down the hall and she came up to Darius. She
was dressed in a black skirt and a brown top, with black boots on.  "How are you
doing, she asked him? "I'm doing ok said Darius. After school you need to
start your training ok, so we can ride out to my house, said Mimi. "That's cool,
said Darius, talk to me more at lunch. Just then these girls came down the
hallway. Well, if it is not bitch who  ain't got a friend in the world, the girl
said. Darius knew who she was, she was the biggest snob in school, Felicia
Summer. Mimi just looked at her like she was ready to fight. Darius knew who
would win.

"What's up Darius, sorry about Kevin, but why is the hoe talking to you",
said Felicia. You need to step off, said Darius. Felicia just stuck her nose in
the air and walked off with the other bitches. Mimi turned around to Darius and
said thanks for sticking up for me. Its cool, said Darius. The rest of the
school day went fine, Darius and Mimi did meet at lunch by themselves to talk
about what training they would do and Mimi also told Darius her life. "Well when
I was five years old my parents died in a car accident, and Wan took me in to
be his daughter, and ever since then I have been training for this and as you
know he is one of the last guardians, and that being a warrior is actually
what our ancestors were, my parents accident was no accident, they were being
chased by a society of seekers that wanted to gain as much knowledge about the
warriors and Doku, and they found out my parents were related to the warrior of
wind and figured that one of them were blessed with the power, but it was
me", said Mimi.

"I am sorry, responded Darius. Then over the loud speaker came an
announcement. "This is principal Dean and I would now like to ask for a moment of silence
for Kevin Dray". The whole cafeteria went silent and even some people cried
and Darius cried a lil bit and Mimi had to comfort him. Thank you, said the
principal. A lot people were still crying and so was Darius. Darius then said,
"its not fair that he had to have this happen to him and he should still be
alive and he should be here with me and why could it not have been me".

"Last night was unexpected Master, I did not know that I would run into one
of the warriors", said Kevin. "Well why do you think she was there, I will tell
you why, your ex lover is one of them, as a matter of fact he is the one that
is the most powerful or will be", said Doku. "But we still have our plan to
attack them when they least expect it  kill them, we cannot let them stop me
again, I will not accept that", said Doku. "Nianna go with our captain here
tonight to make sure he has plenty of back up", said Doku. Yes my master, she
responded.

After school Darius went to clean out Kevin's locker and then  home to leave
his mom a note saying that he will be home later and that he is hanging with
some friends. As Darius drove behind Mimi to get to the mansion so he could
know how to get there, he could not help but think about how his life had changed
in just a few days, and would he ever be the same. Darius pulled into the car
garage beside Mimi. Darius looked at all the cars her dad owned and some of
them were some good classics.

"Welcome back Darius, said Master Wan. "I'm glad to make it master, said
Darius.
"Yes I have a lot to teach you, you will learn to control your elemental
power, as well learn some new fighting skills and control your other powers", said
Wan. Other powers?, asked Darius. "Yes it is to my knowledge not only will
you be a great warrior but also a great wican, a witch, said Wan. Now come we
must start the training both of you follow me".

Darius followed Mimi and Wan to a room and in the room was ropes hanging from
the ceiling, a weapons case, practice dummies, punching bags, and even
gymnastic equipment. "This is the training room D, said Mimi. The swimming pool is
in the back behind that door". Shall we begin, said Wan. "Darius come over here
before me, I will teach you the skills of the shadows, ninjitsu", said wan.
Darius nodded his head and so began the first step in Darius fight training.
After about an hour Mimi decided to take on Darius and spare with him.

After Darius had won, Wan took him to the pool area and asked Darius to get
in. So Darius stripped down to his basket ball shorts he happened to have on
and got in. As Darius was getting in Mimi could see his nice body and firmed
ass. She was getting a lil hot for D, but she knew he was not what he wanted, but
still it was nice to look at. She could then see why all gay guys in school
and even some straight, were jealous of Kevin, for having the finest boy in
school all to himself. "Now concentrate on making a water ball in your hand",
said Wan.  Darius did this it came up he was holding a ball of water in his hand.

"Now submerge yourself in the water", said Wan. When Darius did this he was
expecting to hold his breath but he realized he could breathe underwater like a
fish. Just then he remembered the vision he got from earlier and told Master
Wan. "I see what they are planning, they are trying to destroy you when your
weak". .They need humans to do things for them in the daytime called contacts
and they feel you will get in the way. "You two need to be prepared,  I will
give you the weapons you need". Said Wan.

Wan, Mimi, and Darius all took an elevator to a lower level of the mansion.
When the elevator stopped, the doors opened up. This is the info wave, said
Mimi, it tells us when something supernatural is going down, it also is linked in
with the police scanner. Come over here you two, these are your suits, they
are hard resistant body armor, bullet proof, built in tracking devices,  two
way ear pieces, and able to carry whatever weapons you want, said Wan. "We have
an hour before sundown, lets get prepared said, Darius. "You know how to kill
vampires right Darius? asked Mimi.
"Yea I'm sure I do, he responded,

Darius and Mimi put on there suits and got geared up, taking stakes, holy
water, small knives, and what else might help. The Darius went into the big
supply closet and found a katana that he liked. He took the katana and the holder
to it, and put on his back. Darius and Mimi went back out into the info center.
Now I will keep check on both of you from here, since you know where they are
from your vision you should go to them and attack and keep your eyes open,
I'm sure your vision Darius was no mistake, said Wan. Darius remember that Kevin
is no longer human, don't be blinded by what he was, you are not looking at
what he was, but the thing that killed him.

Darius and Mimi both decided to take her car and drove to a club that just
closed down it was called Punks. It was mainly a crowd for Goths and punks.
Darius liked the way they dressed but not his style.  "I wonder how they where
going to get our attention to come here", said Mimi. Then all of a sudden the
building burst into flames and Mimi and Darius looked shocked. "I have to try and
put the flames out even though I'm new to my powers", said Darius. He jumped
out the car and stood in front of the building. "Darius wait". Yelled Mimi.
Darius noticed there was no heat coming from the building and thought its an
illusion. Just then Kevin ran up behind Darius and grabbed him by the neck.
"Hello lover. Said Kevin as he squeezed his hand around Darius's neck.

Darius grabbed Kevin's hand and twisted it around so Kevin could let him go.
Then he kicked him in the stomach and did another kick to his face knocking
him on the ground. Darius looked back and saw that Mimi was surrounded by
vampires and fighting them.  Darius ran over and grabbed one of them and threw it
backwards and spun to the ground, pulled out a stake and stuck it. Another one
came up and threw a punch at Darius and it connected but Darius and shook it
off and then threw a left and a right and a spin kick to its face and the vamp
fell to the ground.
Darius took a knife with a sun bomb on it and the knife went of dissolving
the vamp.

Mimi had her legs wrapped around one vampires neck as he pinned her to the
hood of the car and she ended up breaking its neck with her legs. The vamp
stopped and then dissolved. When Mimi got up she was knocked across the street and
hit the sidewalk hard. She turned her head to see that it was Nianna standing
over her. "You should be more careful darling, there are dangerous things out
here", she said in a British accent. She then did a kick at Mimi and Mimi
blocked it and foot swept her.
Darius started towards them but the was blocked by someone.

"I'm not done with you yet, said Kevin. But I'm done with you, responded
Darius. Darius then punched Kevin in the face and then landed a right then a left
and did a jump kick knocking Kevin on the ground. Kevin popped back up and
said, "Well look who went and got some muscle". Kevin did a spin kick that
contacted with Darius face and then did a side kick into Darius stomach knocking him
back and he looks back at Mimi seeing her fighting Nianna. Darius then put
his hand in the air and two hands of water grabbed Kevin and then Nianna and
threw them up into the air and they landed inside the abandon club and some
rumble fell on them. I'm getting tired of being thrown into buildings, said Kevin.

How did you do that Darius? Mimi asked. I just concentrated and it happen, we
better get out of here, said Darius.  They got in the car and sped away. Back
at the mansion they go over what happened. "Do you think you will ever be
ready to kill Kevin Darius"? asked Mimi. "I don't know right now cause a part of
me still loves him but in time I will", said Darius. He sat there thinking
what would be next.
