Tommy and Tanner,
Chapter 68

It was the Saturday before Easter vacation in the Middleton public schools
when the Torrance family had overnight guests who were going back to Europe
from O'Hare. While Josh and Eric were home in the Twin Cities for a week,
Josh had finished the large pastel of the family that he'd begun right
after Christmas. He wanted to deliver it on their way back to finish the
term in Paris. Everyone was pleased to see them including Tim, who was
home on break.

The stylized landscape that Teri had purchased at an interiors shop to fill
the space above the fireplace was quickly relegated to storage until they
could find a suitable place for it. It was, of course, replaced by the new
family portrait.

The final product was a true work of art. It wasn't a copy of any of the
photographs that Eric had taken, but was based more on Josh's sketches and
his sense of design. Everyone looked wonderful! Tark immediately asked
the boys to take some pix to email to Jim.

In addition to the work that Jim had commissioned, Josh made several small
portraits, one of each of the Torrance children plus one of Melody. They
were quick sketches which captured the characteristics of each person with
economy of line and sparse color. He might have sold any one of them at a
show for good money, but felt it wouldn't be ethical without the permission
of the sitters. Besides, Grandpa Torrance had paid him handsomely for the
family portrait, and Josh chose to give extra value for his generosity.

Josh and Eric could stay only Saturday night because they would be with
Alma before departing again for Europe, so the boys all wanted to talk with
them as much as possible, especially the plans for the Boundary Waters trip
in the summer. Everything seemed to be on schedule. Josh's dad had made
reservations for a party of eight. The four Torrance boys, Eric and Josh,
and Dane and Colt would be going together. It would have been fun to have
included lots of the Middleton guys, but there were new restrictions on the
size of groups allowed to camp together in order to reduce traffic on the
lakes and help preserve the natural beauty of the area. Perhaps they could
do it again with other buds in the future.

Josh and Eric shared Tommy and Tanner's room as they had done before.
Knowing that their guests would need plenty of rest before facing their
flight back to Paris and the resultant jet lag, Tommy and Tanner didn't
keep them up late.

In the morning, the Larson-Brady boys headed for Alma's house just before
the family went to church. There were lots of hugs and wishes for safe
travel as they drove away in their rental car.

----------

When Jim and Lara arrived on Good Friday, they immediately sat down to
spend several quality minutes admiring the family portrait. They both
remarked that it was even better than the one they had – especially
because of the addition of Tori to the family.

Upon seeing the sketches that Josh had created of the kids and Melody, Jim
insisted that he would have them matted and framed at a quality shop.

"These are wonderful! I love how he has them posed so that Tim and Melody
can be placed facing each other in three quarter view as could Tommy and
Tanner. Tori could be looking at either Tim or Tuck. There are a number
of ways they could be displayed as a whole group or smaller combinations.
Perhaps we should have Josh do portraits of Jeri and Floyd and Lara and me
as well. But, you might not want us glowering down on the rest of you."

"Dad, that would be awesome!" Tark exclaimed. "We'd love to have a whole
gallery of family pictures. Joshua does great work. I'll bet the
paintings will have significance as works of art as well as sentimental
value for us."

"I'm glad you like the idea! I'll see if we can get a sitting sometime
this summer after they get back from Europe."

Floyd and Jeri arrived soon and there was another round of oohs and aahs
over the new portraits. They agreed that it would be fun for all of them
to sit for Joshua sometime soon.

Although the university's spring break had been the week before Holy Week,
Tim and Melody came home to observe Easter with their families and to see
Tim's grandparents.

----------

Peter and Lee went over to the Baxter's on Saturday, at their invitation,
to check out the work Hank and Toby were finishing up. Austin's parents
wanted to thank them for housing their son while they were waiting to move
in and had invited them for lunch.

Austin had wanted to invite Jared, and also Jake Carson who was staying
with them for a week while his dad, John, was abroad on a business trip.
Austin had asked his mother if they could have Bobby join them too. She
agreed to set a few more places because she was preparing a mountain of
food anyway and a couple more kids would be no problem. It was a small
price to pay for the new, more sociable boy that her son had become. Being
a hospitable person, she'd already asked their two workmen to join them for
the noon meal.

It turned out to be a pleasant, leisurely lunch. Hank and Toby were all
but done and didn't mind relaxing since they didn't have other pressing
obligations until Tuesday after Easter.

Peter and Lee learned a few new things about the business arrangement.
Hank's father, Henry, planned to remain active until he was past the usual
retirement age and turn the company over to Hank at that point. The only
problem was that Hank wasn't sure about the viability of a small
construction business, or if he wanted to slave as hard as his father had
in order to keep it going. At the very least both he and Toby wanted to
finish their college degrees so they'd have other options.

"There's not a lot of business for the small guy these days," Hank
lamented.

"But you do such excellent restoration work," Lee exclaimed. "I would
think people would be beating your door down to drag you off for quality
remodeling and the like."

"I'm the only one wanting to drag him off," Toby joked, before he
considered the fact that not everyone at the table was gay.

The response was very positive – everyone laughing at his aside. Hank
rolled his eyes, but there was no hiding the grin on his face.

"Trouble is," Hank continued his thought, "most people would rather tear
down an old place and throw up something new even though it wouldn't have
the character and quality of materials. It's a shame how much of our old
classic architecture has vanished in the past five years. The George
Sessions' house was a masterpiece that would take several million dollars
to replace. Of course that was from a fire which may or may not have been
set intentionally."

"So, what will you do if you don't continue the company?" Peter asked.

"Tobe and I are thinking getting our degrees in architecture and instead of
closing the company changing its focus more toward the design side. We'd
keep the current employees to do the special crafting elements, but
subcontract the basic building. I think it could be more profitable and
still maintain the high quality of detail that Dad insists upon in the
workmanship."

"That sounds like a plan!" Lee enthused. "Speaking of which, are you
currently taking any classes that have a design focus?"

"We are," Toby told them. "We're doing a joint project for a summer
cottage that would be pretty basic but be ready for additions at a future
date if the owners wanted to expand."

Peter and Lee looked at each other with one of those "ah-hah" moments that
spouses often have.

"I know what you guys are thinking," Jared giggled.

"Okay, wise-guy, what are we thinking?" Peter challenged.

"I'll bet my allowance it's about the acreage."

"You are a wise guy in the true sense of the word and I'll double your
allowance this week." Peter laughed.

"We'd love to see what you're planning and we might be interested." Lee
added, getting back to the subject at hand.

"So far, it's really basic," Hank informed them. "It would be a far better
project if we got input from a real-life customer whether or not they
actually built it. I know we'd get a better grade."

"Great!" Lee said. "If you don't have solid plans for supper tonight, we
could continue this discussion at our house over an evening meal."

"We're free if there's food we don't have to cook!" Toby joked.

"Cool. Can we make it for about 7:00 since no one will be hungry before
that with this huge lunch we've just eaten?"

----------

Most of the boys didn't get to see their friends much on Easter Sunday
because they had family obligations. However, Lance and Michael spent all
but a small fraction of it together.

Tessa invited Lance's family over for a traditional meal of lamb and all
the trimmings. Janelle provided two salads plus dessert so that Tessa
wouldn't have so much cooking to do. They planned the menu together to
make sure everything complemented everything else.

Lance and his parents had been taking instruction to join the Episcopal
Church and had been received in time to take the Eucharist on Easter. This
would be a memorable day all round.

It was about 1:15 when they sat down to their meal. JJ asked them all to
join hands as he blessed the food.

The boys could scarcely wait until all had been served before they dug in
heartily. Lance wasn't accustomed to eating lamb, but found that it was
going to be one of his new favorites. His parents loved it too. They had
given up on that kind of meat after having eaten it in the college
cafeteria. What they'd had back then was mutton which had probably met its
death from old age! This was an entirely new experience for them too.

Richard and Janelle left around 4:30, but Lance was staying the night.
Since the winter had been mild, the built-in snow day was used to give them
Easter Monday off to extend their holiday. No one objected!

Up in Michael's room, the two stripped to their underwear and cuddled under
the sheet until they fell asleep with the door ajar. When JJ went to see
if they were ready for something to eat around 7:00, he couldn't resist
going to find a camera to capture the "Kodak Moment."

Since they'd rested up and eaten supper late, the boys weren't interested
in going to bed too early. They played a few video games with Damon, but
eventually shooed him out so they could play other games.

"Couldn't I stay to pick up a few pointers," Damon grinned, having guessed
their plans.

"You're straight, twerp! What could you learn from us that would be of any
value?" Michael challenged.

"I `spect the thrusting is the same no matter what hole you put it in," he
answered cheekily.

"Get out of here you dirty-minded little bugger," Michael laughed.

"I'm not doin' any buggering; that would be you guys!"

"Go on nasty chile!" Michael grinned.

"Okay, but if anyone's doin' the nasty, it's gonna be you two!"

After Damon had left, Michael locked the door and helped his boyfriend get
naked. For them, making out skin to skin was half the fun of getting off.
They loved to cuddle and pet. Many girls would be envious of the amount of
foreplay they got into before going for the gold.

"God, you have the firmest ass I've ever felt," Lance said lustfully when
their lips parted long enough to talk.

"Uh, just how many asses have you felt?"

"Well, at least one girl for a second in fifth grade before she threatened
to slap me silly," he admitted.

"How many boys," Michael persisted.

"Just you, my love," Lance cooed.

"Male asses are always firmer, more muscular!" Michael stated.

"And you base your claim on feeling how many?"

"Just yours, my love," Michael giggled.

"You are so-o-o bad that I think you need a spanking," Lance pronounced.

Michael turned face-down offering his butt which Lance swatted a little
harder than he'd intended to.

"Sorry," Lance said sheepishly.

"I've been very, very bad," Michael insisted. "I think I need another
smack just like that one to chase away the Devil."

Lance delivered another slap, but held back a bit because he really didn't
want to hurt his boyfriend.

"See what you did," Michael said as he turned on his back, sporting an
erection that was even bigger than usual.

"It's so beautiful," Lance cried as he lay between Michael's legs to get
closer.

He then proceeded to lick it from gonads to meatus in long, wet laps of his
tongue. He stopped to slurp up the clear, sticky fluid that Michael was
producing in abundance.

"Oh Baby, I'm gonna cum!" Michael almost screamed.

Luckily the house was well-built and the parental suite was at the other
end of the second floor.

Instead of slowing down or backing off, Lance wet his middle finger and
rubbed it across Michael's quivering pucker. That triggered a flood of
jizz that might have drowned a lesser man, but Lance took Michael's
appendage so deeply that the first three blasts went directly down his
throat. Backing off slightly, he collected the rest in his mouth to taste
and share.

Michael lay there in catatonic ecstasy for several minutes before
attempting to talk.

"I have died and gone to heaven!" he exclaimed.

"Um, glad it was okay," Lance said demurely.

"Come on, Baby, I'm not leaving you on earth by yourself!"

Having said that, Michael proceeded to bring Lance along to meet him in the
clouds. He used every technique he could think of, from bathing his
perineum to flicking his tongue across Lance's frenulum gently as the
motion of a butterfly's wings. Lance was gasping for breath and clawing
handfuls of sheet before he finally allowed himself to relax enough to go
into free-fall.

Again, it was good that the house wasn't some cheap suburban cracker box.

Damon had his left ear pressed against the wall that divided their rooms so
as not to miss anything. His right hand was busily massaging his raging
hardon. When Lance cried out, Damon blasted so hard that the first two
spurts overshot his cum-rag by a foot. Rather than try to wipe it up with
the crusty old towel, he spread his offering into a layer thin enough to
dry. He fell asleep with a beatific smile.

----------

As hard as he'd tried, John Carson couldn't work out his travel schedule to
be home for Easter. He didn't want to abandon his sons, but knew they'd be
in good hands with Lee and Peter, and his future with the company depended
on his being able to make favorable deals.

Jake had already been there for the better part of a week when Chris and
Drake joined them for Easter weekend. They looked relatively happy and
healthy, although both admitted the semester had been non-stop as far as
studying was concerned. They had stayed at school during break to get
everything caught up. While that would help their grades, it had left them
drained. The weekend home was just the thing they needed.

For Easter dinner, Lee and Peter made a big meal built around a spiral-cut
ham as the centerpiece. They offered a number of low-carb side dishes to
appease the appetites of the teens, especially Jake. They had hoped to
fill him up without causing his weight to jump, but he dug into everything
equally. He reminded them that training for spring track caused him to
burn about as many calories as he could take in.

John called in the afternoon to talk to his sons and wish everyone a happy
holiday. He said it had been a profitable time and that he was in for a
big bonus, but he very much missed his boys. At least the extra money
would help with college expenses next year.

----------

Some of the other families spent their day as an extended family. Andy's
and Devin's `rents combined their dinner as they seemed to be doing more
and more. They all hoped that the boys would continue to grow together
because they could hardly imagine not celebrating as one big group for the
foreseeable future. Fortunately this was one of the times that no one had
to work on the holiday.

----------

At the Torrance house, there were more guests than at the rest. Besides
both sets of grandparents, they hosted Melody and her parents, Todd,
Jennifer, and Brendon Baker plus Dorothy and Herbert who had recently come
back from Florida for the spring and summer. It wasn't a big burden on
Teri because everyone pitched in on preparations.

By a little after 4:00 all had left but family. Tim and Melody went to her
house and stayed to enjoy a light supper. Then they headed back to campus
since the university didn't have Monday off.

Tuck had given up his room to Floyd and Jeri and had slept in the trundle
in Tommy and Tanner's room for a couple of nights. When bedtime rolled
around, he teased that he was going to continue sleeping there, but
actually went to sleep in Tim's room to give his middle brothers a bit of
privacy. He suspected that they would appreciate it and they did.

The two made out leisurely for quite a while. Eventually, Tanner asked
Tommy to take him to the moon. That was their code phrase for wanting to
take the bottom position in their lovemaking. Tommy was quick to grant his
wish.

Having abstained for several days in a row, it was difficult for him to
hold back. His dick wanted him to screw like a rabbit, but his head
overruled so that he could bring his boyfriend the greatest amount of
pleasure before they reached their climax. Only when he knew that Tanner
was close did he allow himself to feel the thrill down to his toes.
Shortly after he quit holding back, he began to gasp and moan. Tanner
joined him in a duet of love and lust. Moments later, Tommy blasted
several shots of hot cum into Tanner's expectant chute. That resulted in
Tanner's reaching his orgasm in response without being touched below the
waist. They were in synch about as perfectly as it was possible to be.

Both were sated and spent. They had scarcely cleaned up a bit and cuddled
together when sleep overtook them.
