Subject: True Friends, True Love

This is a story Mostly true, the majority of it having happened to me not
too long ago so I will write about it while it's fresh in my heart. Hope
you enjoy and excuse the spelling, you know english classes realy ARE a
boring. (*Mutters something about if your not over 18 apparently you
shouldn't be reading this... I won't tell ^_-*)

I have always hated school, it felt to me like a a prison that I was
obligated to pass through for some sick and twisted purpose beyond your
understanding when your young. I never understood why I got a hard time so
much, I was never mean or strange around anyone, I wasn't a fat, teachers
pet or any other of those "pick on that kid" reasons I could think of.
After a while I got used to it and brushed it off, I got a few nice and
kind friends that kept my life happy, though the majority of them were
always girls. In many ways I think thats why I was often disliked by so
many of the guys, no matter which school I was at (and i have gone to 7
schools before i reached grade 10!). I suppose some sort of Biography on
myself is needed at this point, My names Caleb im about 5 foot 11 blondish
silvery hair, slim but not skinny (I like to think of myself as wiry, I'm
one of those people who no matter how much they work out they get stronger
and harder but never bulkier) with broad swimmers shoulders I get from my
dad and what most people say about me is my dazzling smile, I always liked
my eyes most out of every detail of my self, deep sea blue/green.

Anyway as my school years went on, was the same sob story I s'pose many
teens have to tell, and I won't make you suffer to hear it! By year 10 I'd
moved to a pretty cool school, my 7th. Was kind of a beach bum school,
easy going kids even some of the teachers were alright! I wasn't one of
the "cool kids" but i got plenty of "hey dude's" when I walked into the
grounds If that gives any indication of my popularity standing. I think it
was the first school I'd ever been at where I hadn't gotten into a fight
(defending myself mind you)within the first month. Though I usualy won it
only made my social standing worse with the "popular" gang of boys who were
likely to aim for me like a packs of sharks on fresh blood.

I know by now you've noticed that none of my stories include a gorgeous
girlfriend (Notice that no one in any of these stories is ugly?), well
trust me (not that I'm bragging!) but there were a few, well more then a
few. And I actualy loved my time with them alot, however their not in the
story for this, in truth is a love story, so who cares about anything but
the object of my love? Good glad we cleared THAT up!I turned 15 around that
time, and life wasn't bad, however it was about to get a WHOLE lot better.
I was a good student in middle school and since I was nicely mannered among
alot of teenagers who have the manners of a horny dog, I was usualy chosen
to show the "new kids" around, or students moving up from primary. One such
day the teacher made her morning announcement that we had a new student
transfering from another state. As was expected I was chosen to show him
the "sights" (like any school is worth LOOKING at for an two hours
straight). Taken outside the class I was introduced to destiny. His name
was Jase, and the moment I met him I didn't know my life would never be the
same, all I knew then was that... I couldn't take my eyes off him! He was
GORGEOUS! You know the kind of guy that people say are realy cute? Well
that's not him.... If any word I've ever heard could be used to define him
I'd say he was outragiously handsome. He had that gorgeous kind of angular
face and jaw (something alike to a "Brad Pitt" or "Orlando Bloom"sort of
feature) Blonde honey sort of coloured hair, long eye lashes and steel grey
eyes, he was tall but not quite as much as me but he had more defined
muscles but still was slim. He was wearing the usualy school uniform but
somehow draped over his gorgeous body it made it look like he was modeling
the seasons greatest threads.

Suddenly I noticed the teacher saying my name. Snapping myself out of my
avid stare of this gorgeous guy I shook myself slightly and looked at the
teacher "Caleb, I want you to show Jase around ok? The science class first
I think since It's empty right now, then just through the other classes and
also down to the basketball course, Jase here is quite the player his
father tells me!" I nodded still slightly dazed, I glanced back at Jase
who was blushing slightly from my prolonged stare at him. Feeling VERY
embaressed but out of habbit putting on a good show I smiled and shook his
hand (how smooth and strong they were at the same time...). With a slight
nod of my head I lead him towards our main science block where all the
"interesting" stuff took place, as in the stuff that involved chemicals
that could blow up and all that jazz. As we walked I made a brave effort
not to gawk at his amazing features, he seemed to noticed my awe filled
glances his way and spent the first part of the tour blushingly looking at
his feet.

When it came time for the tour of the Library I found his true passion was
books, as I talked about some of my favourites he came out abit and we
started talking and laughing and going over favourite parts of books we
both enjoyed. Stopping quite a while by Lord Of The Rings (as can be
expected by two big fantasy adventure readers) I was glad I had broken out
of my trance to keep up a stimulating conversation. Jase seemed to notice
this and we were actualy having a great time... while at school!Go figure
eh? After a LONG tour of the library I had an idea"What do you say we skip
the maths history and art class tours and go straight to the sports center?
Those places look the same as the science class with just different junk on
the desks anyway" laughing he happily agreed and we walked down the steep
hill to the court making playful jest about the odd ways of schools and
teachers.

The sports center was GREAT! It was one massive shed that had a basketball
court volleyball court and every other little thing all in one. Walking
over to the corner I picked up a basketball and flung it his was. True to
his fathers compliment of his skills, he caught the ball with lightning
reflexes as if he'd seen it coming all day. Grinning I came at him and as
he made towards the hoop, With graceful ease he flitted around me and made
a clean shot at the ring. Horribly stunned I stood there as he bent over
laughing at the rediculous expression on my face (I was quite good at
basketball being one of the best high jumpers in the region). Getting over
my stung pride enough to think to close my mouth I laughed in turn "Alright
next time I think to throw you a ball I'll make sure I've got Michal Jordan
backing me up K? Dont think you can get past me so easy if I ever get you
on a soccer feild though!"still laughing we went into the corner and sat on
the high-jump mats.

After an hour Jase and I were talking to each other like we'd known each
other since toddlers. I'd learnt the name of all his family members down to
his dog (Who calls a dog spanky?) and actualy remembered them! Still
laughing along with each other I had trouble seeing him as just a friend
though. He was the most gorgeous human being I had ever thought could walk
the face of the earth, yet he was soo down to earth and charming it was
like meeting an angle in the flesh. Our time was up for the tour and I knew
I had to get my new best friend to class before they sent out a search
party. Checking my time table I saw we had science"Oh well what a great way
to introduce you to our teachers, good old Mr. Brian. Whoever born him did
a terrible deed to every kid alive, I swear reading the Dictionary is more
entertaining then listening to that bald headed old badger!" Grinning we
went back up the hill and headed to the science class.

As we entered there was an unusual amount of whispering, far more then
anyone ever dared in Mr. Brian's presence, I quickly discovered it was due
to the "new kid". As we walked down to the back to take our seats every
girl in the class seemed to instantly fall in love with Jase, and just
about every guy turned their heads his way with a mixture of admiration and
jelousy. Blushing slightly the two of us took our seats as far back as
possible, Heads still turned Jase's way until Mr. Brian slapped his ruler
hard on his desk making everyone jump a foot in the air.

By the end of the day Jase seemed almost exhasted by the amount of
attention he had gotten. Sitting by the front gate together waiting for our
parents to pick us up I giggled slightly at his "misfortune" he looked at
me as if he was going to tackle me for my nerve! "Well come on man! How
many guys would complain about getting... how many was it? 12 sets of
numbers from half the best looking girls in the school in ONE day!" I
laughed myself nearly off my seat. He grinned back at me and gave me
another look that was if to say "are you stupid?!" "MAYBE I don't WANT
their attention... you ever think of that huh smart guy? "He looked quite
red as he said this. Half confused half crazily hopeful I opened my mouth
to question his statement just as his mum showed up in their... wow... nice
car!He got up and walked over to his ride with a slightly disappointed grin
my way, as he flung his bag in the car he seemed to think better of it and
motioned me over. "Caleb this is my mum"I waved happily at her and she
returned me a grin very much like her sons "Made a friend already Jase?
Well I'm glad! It's nice to see there's some good lads around Caleb, After
some of the morons that went to his old schools" The way she said that made
me faulter slightly in my smile, Jase looking quite embaressed got into the
car and gave me a friendly wave and they were off.

My mum picked me up as usual giving me a big hug and asking how my day was,
when she did I couldn't help but smile and told her about my new friend.
She was over the moon for me but all that I seemed to remember of the trip
home was thinking about Jase's beautiful face and dazzling smile and
personality... Once home I went into my room and lay down on bed feeling
very happy but very confused. Was I gay?! wait... NO! I wasn't... I had
dated some great girls and was very interestd in them and with one or two
slightly in love. But the more I thought about the way I felt towards Jase
I wasn't so sure. After an internal battle that raged for hours I think I
knew deep down I was either Gay or Bi. I tested myself by asking one
question... if I could have one day and one passionate kiss with my dream
guy or girl, what would I choose? As I tried to answer myself all that
passed my mind was Jase, as I tried to think up the strong points and
personality of my dream guy and girl everything I remembered about Jase was
there! Feeling like in some small way I had answered myself without any
answer at all I lay back and sleep took me.

The next day Jase was waiting for me by the gates. Many people walked past
him trying to catch his eye or engaged him in conversation, he was polite
but basically ignored them. Smiling inwardly I walked up and gave him a
grin and a slap on the shoulder"Hey mate, looking forward to your 2nd day
of jail... uh... school? "Rolling his eyes and slapping my back to get me
moving down the steps to our first lesson. Paying only slight attention to
the teacher and large attention the our thumb wrestle under the table (Kids
still have thumb wrestles at 15? Damned straight they do!) I learnt that
Jase was as smart as he was Beautiful. When the teacher shot an unexpected
question his way to test his attention so far to the lecture he answered
perfectly, apparently knowing already what we were just being taught.
Grinning slyly (and ever so cutely)we returned to our thumb wrestle, just
enjoying the feel of his baby soft skin hands was enough to excite me
through an hour long perioid.

That afternoon we exchanged numbers and I invited him over to my house, the
next day being the Weekend "My mum's going to stay with my sister for the
night so we'd have the place to ourselves, and theres a GREAT pizza place
up the road that can supply a healthy dinner"He grinned obviously very much
looking forward to it" Sure, I don't need to ask my mum and dad, since I
just moved here they'll be more then happy for me to be spending time with
a new mate. I'll get a lift up there about 6 ok? "I gave him directions to
my place and got my lift home with mum secretly skipping with joy at the
prospect of time alone with Jase.

Mum got herself dressed up and left for my sisters with a big hug and a
"behave yourself". Once she was gone I jumped in the shower and dressed
myself up to what I thought was my best, but casual look. Wearing shorts as
always and a close fitting shirt and messing my hair up in casual "surfer"
way I was so anxious not to look like I thought I was going out on a date
or something. When I heard a knock on the door I gave an involuntary jump,
messing up the 5 minute attempt I'd made at my hair. Running to the door
hopeful not sounding to anxious I swung it open and Jase came in looking...
wow. Once again I was staring like a fat kid with a wedding cake being
dangled before him. I couldn't help it he just looked so damned handsome.
Just wearing casual gear he looked like he was on a modeling promotion or
something. But I couldn't help but feel he'd done up his hair a little bit
more then he did at school and wore a nice aftershave. Smiling broadly I
gave him the expected tour of the house. He seemed to like the place and
especialy the veiw. When I took him down to my room he was genuinely
imprssed. I had the lower floor with my own small kitchen and bathroom but
that's not important!There was a ps2 a pool table a computer a dart board
and a bean-bag big enough to hold a sumo wrestler. "Looks like were set for
a fun night then" He grinned happily and plonked his stuff down in the
corner picking up a cue.

After kicking his ASS at pool (I didn't play with anyone all that much but
I'd played alot with my dad when I was younger, and I was GOOD! Not that
I'm bragging...) We went around the world with darts, he won by a hairs
breath but still managed a victory dance like he'd just one the title of
darts king of the world. But it was done in good fun and also looked so
adorable that I couldn't help but grin. After many more games of pool darts
and the expected ps2 game of Grand Theft Auto, we were tired and just
laying back on my bed chowing down on pizza and chatting about old schools
and experiences and stuff. After a while I asked the question that was
eating at me "What did your mum mean about the guys at your old scools?
"Instantly his smile faded and he seemed sad. After an awkward moment he
seemed to size me up and took a deep breath before answering" I just... I
didn't get along with guys at my old schools ok... lets just leave it at
that k? "He made out he wanted the subject dropped but somehow I knew what
he longed for was to release the feelings on his mind. So despite common
sense I pushed "Listen man I'm your mate, even if I have been for a few
days. You can trust me and I'll stick by you, and won't judge you. I'm not
pressuring you but just letting you know the options there to tell me whats
on your mind". I looked over at him and took in all his gorgeous features,
his red smooth lips, his glassy bright eyes, his stunning facial features
and the rest of his unbelivable good looks. After an uncomfortable silence
he turned to me looking on the verge of tears and scared beyond beleif, in
that moment I knew I loved him and it broke my heart to see him like this.

"I trust you to hear me through on this, I don't expect any friend to hear
this and still go skipping along like things are all sunshine and rainbows,
but since you gave me this chance I'll take it and maybe feel better for
taking this stone off my chest and not hiding myself anymore". He took a
deep breath, as if it were his last... but he couldn't get the words out,
he sat there stuggling with himself until he looked like he was going to
pass out. Before he could say anything I took the most wild chance in my
life hoping to god I knew what he was about to say "Jase I'm gay... and I
like you". Horrified that I had just spoked those words out loud I inwardly
kicked myself but had the courage to look up. Jase was crying with all his
heart, tears were streaming down his face, but through them an unimaginable
smile of pure heart throbbing joy came through. He actualy laughed and I
knew the weight had been lifted from his chest. He reached across to me and
pulled me into a heart stopping hug, kissing my lips quickly as if it were
to good to be true "thank-you!" that's all he said. I could tell from his
looks that he was having trouble getting his emotions around the lump in
his throat "I am too. I have been since before I can remember. To answer
your question; my mum was so overjoyed, as was I, because the last four
schools I've been to were pure hell. I told one boy I had a crush on him,
and out of pure disgust and spite he spread it around the whole county. I
haven't gone to one school in 3 years that I haven't been beaten, degraded
and made to feel like I wasn't worthy of living on this planet... till I
came here" He leant over and kissed my lips with all his heart, I wrapped
my arms around his neck pulling him closer and enjoying every moment. He
seemed to change in that moment, it were as if something had been clinging
to his very soul for years and with one happy kiss it was blown away
leaving him free. As our kiss ended he fell into my arms and wept through
the very depth of his body for joy.

End of chapter one.

**Well that's it for the moment folks, I hope you've enjoyed it so far and
I will certainly continue to write this story if I get some positive feed
back. This is my first time writing something like this so no idea how it
went. I'll write the next chapter anyway with or without feed back. **
