Sorry this one took so long, guys! I started classes and was really lost
as to where to take Wade & Christian for a moment. Don't ever think
that I am quitting, though, they always fight their way out of me in the
end. For those of you who will stick with me through this, I really
appreciate your interest and hope you keep reading - and I promise to
keep writing until the beautiful end!!!

			Chapter Seven

Christian sat on the cold, damp pavement of the West High School
parking lot, his back against the wheel of Wade's car. It was one of those
clear Autumn afternoons without a cloud in sight. Christian stared up at
the blue sky, the view shrouded by overhanging branches. He studied the
changing colors of the leaves, his mind a peaceful blur.

Wade found him there a few minutes later, the most perfect sight he
had ever seen. The long legs splayed out, the blond head tilted up, the
curve of his throat fully exposed and vulnerable. Wade felt his heart
speed up. Christian was waiting for him.

Christian felt Wade approaching and stopped his scrutiny of the sky
to look at Wade. He felt his heart skid to a stop inside his chest. He
would never get used to the perfection of Wade. As much as he fantasized
about Wade, he could never dream up the excellence of reality.

Wade had taken a shower in the locker room. His brown hair was
still damp and his skin was glowing.

"Hey," Christian said, looking up at Wade and smiling. Looking
down at Christian, Wade felt true fear creep down into his gut. He
realized as he stood there that he loved Christian with a finalty and
completeness that was unquestionable. This boy held his happiness, the
radiance in his life, right in the palm of his hand and it terrified Wade.

Wade reached down and offered a hand to Christian. Christian
reached up and allowed himself to be pulled lightly onto his feet. Wade's
eyes were fixed on Christian with an intensity that sent a frisson of
uncertainty through Christian.

"I thought I would wait for you here instead of inside," Christian
said slowly. "That way I'm less likely to get seen by anybody." Wade
could sense Christian's discomfort and he tried a reassuring smile.
Christian seemed to relax a little. Wade held on to Christian's hand a
little longer, giving it a light squeeze before hitting the unlock button
on his keychain.

"Hop in," he told Christian and gave him a genuine smile. Inside,
he was quivering. Inside, he felt a sense of helplessness that he had
never felt before. He had never wanted anything as much as he wanted
Christian at that moment, but he was numb with the fear that he wouldn't be
able to hold on to him. How long would Christian be willing to hide?
Would Christian allow him to continue to shield himself by dating Tiffany?
If seeing them kiss had made Christian attempt to kill himself two years
ago, what was going to happen when he saw them together now? There were so
many questions that he had been too afraid to ask himself before. He had
been so focused on getting past all of the defenses that Christian had
erected that he hadn't thought beyond that. He couldn't hurt Christian
this time, Wade knew that it would destroy them both.

Christian got in on the passenger side and Wade walked around to
the driver's side, tossed his gym bag and backpack into the backseat and
sat down next to Christian. He was amazed at the difference Christian's
presence in his car made. The smell of him was distinct, so unlike
Tiffany. His long limbs stretched in the tight space. For a moment, Wade
couldn't believe the difference. He scoffed at the many times that he had
imagined that it was Christian sitting beside him instead of Tiffany. The
reality was overwhelming.

"What's eating you, man?" Christian asked from his seat, unaware of
his effect on Wade, unaware of the intense happiness and terror he was
evolking in him.

"It was a tough practice," Wade dismissed quietly, that much was
true.

"You can't possibly be worried about your game this season," Chris
said in a flattering way. "You're playing better than you ever have."

Wade grinned and started the car.

"You've been paying attention?" Wade asked and Christian felt a
blush rise across his cheeks. Christian nodded. Wade pulled out into
traffic, tossing Christian a soft look.

"Of course I paid attention," Chris said quietly.

"I paid attention to you a lot, too," Wade said. "I know all of
your times for the six and twelve mile and I - I cut out some of your
photos from the school paper and last year's yearbook."

"No way," Christian said, staring at Wade. Wade nodded.

"You've got this awesome way of looking at things, man," Wade told
him as he drove through the semi-busy streets. "Everything's so clear and
you bring out the contrast in things. I wish I could see through your eyes
sometimes. I wonder how you see me."

Christian stared at him for a moment, swallowing hard.

"I've taken some pictures of you that I keep in my room," Christian
admitted, after a moment and Wade's grip tightened on the steering wheel.
"I've got a lot of them from the games and practice. I think they might
show you how I see you."

Wade was silent, fighting down the urge to stop the car along the
side of the road and get as close to Christian as he could...to kiss those
lips again.

"Where are we going?" Christian asked.

"I have no idea," Wade said with a grin, moving easily through the
light traffic. "Where do you wanna go?"

"We can go to my house," Christian offered and Wade looked at him
silently for a moment.

"You know what's gonna happen if we go there?" Wade asked and there
was a look in his eyes, molten lava. Christian felt the tiny fear inside
of himself and smiled.

"We can watch tv," Christian told him. "I can heat one of my mom's
dinners."

	Wade laughed.

"You know if I get you alone, I won't keep my hands off of you,
right?" Wade told him.

"What's wrong with that?" Christian asked, staring at Wade's
profile. Wade's jaw clenched tightly for a moment, his hands tightened on
the wheel.

"Nothing," Wade said after a moment. "Absolutely nothing...if
we're ready. But I don't want it to be something that we haven't thought
out."

"You think too much," Christian scoffed and Wade sent him a serious
look.

"I'm serious, Chris," Wade said, maneuvering the car around a
corner. "We've got a shit load of stuff to talk about before we do
anything."

"We've talked this crap to death," Christian grumbled.

"Not even," Wade said emphatically. "We've got a lot at stake
here. I know it might be the lawyer in my blood, but I want to make sure
that we're doing the right thing. I want to make - "

"How can it not be right?" Christian asked, uncertainly. "How can
it not be right for us to be together?" Wade was silent. He drove quietly
for a few long moments, deftly turning and pressing down the accelerator
until they left the small city behind, until they moved along a bumpy,
gravelly road that Christian didn't recognize. Wade stopped the car next
to a grassy, open field.

	"Where are we?" Christian asked.

"Some of my dad's property," Wade said, cutting the ignition. He
played nervously with his keys for a moment, then turned to look at
Christian.

"I'm not saying that it's not right for us to be together," Wade
told him. "I just thought alot about what you said the other day, about
how you felt back in the tenth grade. If you felt that way then, who's to
say you won't feel that way now?"

"I know better than to try and kill myself now," Christian said
firmly. "I lived through that, Wade. I sat there and gave up my life and
I kow how it feels. I would never do that to myself or anybody who loves
me again. I've gone to counseling. My mom even made me sign a fucking
pact with her not to do anything crazy like that. I know that I can handle
it this time."

"That's fine, but what about me?" Wade asked. "What if I can't
handle it? I've got everything to lose. On the one side, it's my whole
life, my family, everything and on the other side it's you."

"Don't compare me to your family," Christian said. "Why does it
have to be that way? I don't want you to stack me up against your family."

"Can't you see that I have to do that?" Wade asked. "I have to. I
don't have a choice. I could lose everything. I could lose my friends, my
reputation, my dad, maybe my mom, too and Tiffany."

"All of that for me, there's no choice then is there?" Christian
asked cynically. "Why did you even bring me out here to the fucking
boonies to tell me that we can't be together? Better yet, why did you even
come back into my life at all? I was doing okay." Christian reached for
the door handle, ready to yank it open and fight his way out of the car.

Wade grabbed his arms and held him firmly. "Chill, man, okay, calm
down," Wade told him, holding tightly when Christian moved as if to get
away. "I'm not saying we can't be together. I'm just trying to say
that...that you mean more to me than all of that. I'm telling you that
we've got to figure out a way to handle all of this, to make everything
right. I don't want to fuck up and lose you, I know I couldn't handle that.
After everything we've been through, man, this has gotta work out because I
don't wanna try to make it without you. I love you so fucking much,
man...so damn much and I'm scared shitless."

Christian sat completely still, staring at Wade's lips and his eyes
as he said the words, realizing that Wade meant it, that Wade loved him
just as much. His eyes flooded with tears.

"I love you, too," Christian said and Wade kissed him, just leapt
across the seat and over the parking brake to plant his lips on
Christian's, a firm, close-mouthed declaration that resounded in the quiet
confines of the car. Wade opened his mouth first, Christian followed suit
and their tongues began a gentle play. Christian leaned his head back
against the window and Wade went with him, pressing himself against the
length of Christian's long frame.

"We could've just gone to my house if you were gonna grope me,"
Christian teased against Wade's lips and Wade bit back a groan.

Wade didn't answer, just pressed his mouth against Christian's
again, effectively silencing him. Wade could feel the bulge in Christian's
pants, pressed against his thigh in the cramped interior of the car. Wade
felt a wave of desire course through him, something so much stronger than
anything he had ever felt in Tiffany's arms. His lips attacked
Christian's, his arms began to quake as he imagined seeing it for the first
time, touching it, putting his lips against the soft curve of Christian's
flesh, taking it deep into his throat. He moaned at the thought.

"Chris, man, I gotta suck you off," Wade said, pulling back.
Christian sat, his blond head pressed against the window, his face warm,
his lips glistening, naked desire in the blue depths of his eyes.

"Here?" Christian asked and Wade nodded, his hands reaching for
Christian's zipper. "You sure, man, anybody could come?"

"It's private property, nobody's gonna come," Wade told him,
unzipping the jeans, yanking them down around Christian's thighs, pushing
down the fabric of Christian's briefs. Wade could smell him, some kind of
earthy, creamy scent that made Wade's dick stand on end. Christian's cock
bobbed, fully erect away from the fabric, stretching easily up past his
navel. It was long and lean, like Christian. Wade grinned at Christian.

"No going back now," Wade said and Christian smiled back, leaned
forward, placing a loud kiss on Wade's lips.

Wade wrapped his hand around the shaft, taking in Christian's body
as it trembled. He pulled at Christian's sweater, hiking it up, revealing
the lean abs, running his hand lightly over the soft, hairless skin. He
moved his hand gently up and down the length of Christian's cock, watching
as it hardened further, expanded in a pulsating rhythmn. A drop, a tiny
amount of precum glistened at the slit on its head and Wade's mouth went
dry. He had to taste it. He brought his face down and tongued the tiny
slit, bringing a reverent hiss to Christian's lips.

"Fuck," Christian said, his eyes glued on the image of Wade's lips
hovering over his cock, of Wade's tongue delving into the tiny slit. He
was on the verge of exploding just from the sight. As Wade's mouth encased
his dick, he closed his eyes, heaven bound and afraid to move, afraid the
slightest movement would send him over the edge. Wade's mouth slid up and
down Christian's cock, his tongue working its length slowly, picking up
speed, suddenly vigorous.

"Shit, Wade, slow down, man, I'm gonna cum too fast," Christian
said on a low moan, but Wade wasn't hearing him. He continued, his mouth
persistent, warm and wet, his lips tightening around the cock. If he took
a deep breath, he could fit the entire shaft down his throat and he
practiced this motion, tight and relentless on Christian's cock, his
tonsils engulfing the head, barely escaping the gag reflex when Christian
began to pump into Wade's mouth, at first slowly fucking his way into the
warm tunnel, then gently pounding in and out as fast as his muscles would
allow.

He could feel his balls tightening, his seed shooting up the length
of his shaft, threatening to slam into Wade's throat. He tried to back
away but Wade's hands clamped around his hips, cupping his buttocks and the
lips tightened around him, milking him as his cock jumped, pulsated and
spurted hot cream. Christian was moaning for all he was worth and thrusting
himself in tiny jerks deeper and deeper into Wade's throat. Wade didn't
back off until Christian was milked dry, tiny streams of Christian's cum
near his chin. Christian stared at him in disbelief for a moment, then
grinned.

"That was fucking awesome," he said with a laugh as he came down
off of his high. Wade lifted his arm to wipe his chin with his elbow, but
Christian stopped him, pulled him close and kissed him, licking the
remnants off of his chin and sharing it with him as they tongued each
other's mouths.

"You taste good," Wade told him against his lips. Christian's
smile felt permanently etched across his face. He licked Wade's lips.

"Salty," he said, smacking his lips together.

"Mmmm...perfect," Wade told him and kissed him again.
